The energy around him crackling with raw energy, matching the sharp uncontrolled rage in his eyes.

Lilith’s hand darted out, slapping Lucifer’s away as he tried to reach for her. Her lilac eyes blazed with mistrust and jealousy. "You don’t get to touch me," she hissed, stepping back to put distance between them. 

"I’ve heard the whispers from Heaven—you’re seeking a heavenly life partner. Congratulations."

She swept her arms out in a mocking gesture, mimicking a bow, while her skin seethed with anger. “Now you can finally end this charade and live your happy ever after behind those golden gates with your new partner,” she snarled, her words dripping with venom, allowing the resentment to finally burst forward and push down the heartbreak threatening to consume her. 

"Or am I meant to be your mistress once you find this person?" She laughs bitterly, letting her mockery of words and anger shield her from what’s to come. "You father won't like that."

He recoiled from the slap as if burned and looks just as hurt as she does , shit how did she find out ? He didn’t mean it .

But the elders and his brothers were getting suspicious that he still hadn’t found a life partner and that he kept ignoring various suitors attempts at courting him.

He didn’t mean to hurt more then he already did , “Lilith please .. j-just let me explain …”

His halo gave off nervous sparks , “ I .. I had to say something to get them off my back.. they were growing suspicious saying I’m well past the allotted time of … grieving “

He winched at the mention of his father instinctively pulling his wings in to shield himself . “Lilith please I didn’t mean it like that .. I just I needed to say something !” He pleaded.

My eternal conviction

One of jackies convictions is to protect the arts at all costs. in his case specifically clothing. but honestly Id lie if I said his mind hasnt been somewhere else. its not very him to care bout his friends, mainly cuz he hasnt had a whole lot of friends in kindred life. he is after all kind of a lot to handle. but those who deal with his idiocy get a loyal friend out from it. I think at this point he may as well get another conviction smth a kin to "True friends are worth the price." prolly like tied to henry as he is jackies best friend. and he is human per v5 rules. wich sometimes are a paaaiiin

anyways rant over have a lover boi fixin some fabric into smth worth wearing for his friends. I dont often get to draw him soft. but he's cute when hes not a huge dickhead

honestly, just a steddie deh au would be perfect. eddie would be connor and steve would be evan. like, steve spending time with wayne after eddie passes and, even though they weren't close friends, steve still shows he cares.
