Firstly, excuse my face.

OKAY, LISTEN UP MCC FANS

I couldn´t have asked for a more beautiful night. 

My best friend @theskyislonely and her amazing and perfect fiance surprised me by taking me to Magna Carta Cartel in Köln. She urged to me finish my letter and bracelet while waiting for her to pick me up (my dumb ass didn’t realize) and she took me to Köln to see these lovable and amazing men. On top of that, she bought me a shirt and helped me get two records. 

I got my cd signed by all four and my records by Arvid. 

Before the concert, I noticed Martin walking outside, and my friend urged me to go after him with the letter I had in my bag. It wasn’t perfect, I still wanted to redo it, but whatever, it was fine, my handwriting was just sloppy. I waited for him and he walked back in ( he was probably grabbing something outside) and saw me standing there. I imagine I looked horrible, I was shaking- couldn’t talk, and he just smiled and immediately rubbed my shoulder. So I gave him my letter, muttering an awkward ‘I hope I am not bothering you,l but I really wanted to give you this”. and he just hugged me and thanked me for coming. He then said “I’ll see you later!’ and walked to the merch table. I was too psyched and nervous to even stand around,  I just went straight back to my friends. 

The concert was amazing, and I am still shaking after everything. 

They came out afterward and Arvid was the first to sign everything.  Each and every one of them was so incredibly patient and kind. I didn’t bring a pen for them to sign with, and Arvid was just so sweet and patient and calmed me down whilst asking around for a pen. On top of that, he was a complete dorky darling, and I say that with all the love and positivity I can put in the words. I then went to Martin, and I was shaking again. He kept an eye on me and smiled a few times. The second I went to him, he apologized that he hadn’t been able to read my letter yet, and asked me what my name was and asked me where I was from because it didn’t sound German. I thanked him for everything he has meant to me throughout the past two years, and how his music has helped me- and he held me a couple of times, and took this photo with me. 

I am tearing up while writing this. Martin, Arvid, Niels, and Pär were amazing, patient, and so incredibly kind. I chatted with Niels and Pär afterward as well and took a picture with them, but I can’t get them on here, I will try again when I upload the rest. I chatted about playing the bass and how I really felt inspired to start playing myself again, and they all asked me if I was coming to Leiden as well, which I am. So honest to God, I was so scared and anxious about seeing them and giving Martin my letter, and like I was told– he was a fucking teddy bear and just- my god. If anyone is going and is able to approach him, DO IT. DOn’t let anything stop you because they will literally be the sweetest of the sweetest you have ever experienced. 

Bonus:

As my friends and I were driving home, we saw them packing their stuff, so I opened the window and blasted Sway super loudly, but only Pär or Niels saw it (it was dark and my glasses were dirty, so either one of them saw it) and we waved. It was the greatest night ever you guys.
