I was tagged by @strafethesesinners to share my Spotify Wrapped! Thank you :)
The thing is, I don’t use Spotify... So instead, thanks to the stats I managed to find in iTunes and Windows Media Player, what I remember listening to this year, and my Photoshop skills, I present to you my very own, entirely handcrafted and customized...
“Spoofity” Wrapped
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(No really, I remade everything. The backgrounds, the logo, the URL... Everything)
More details and explanations under the cut because why not?
Songs
1 - Technically, I didn’t just listen to it, I watched this video. On repeat. In my defense, I was trying to learn the song and it wasn’t easy! Also, yeah, okay, I really like it.
2 - I didn’t listen to this one on my phone/computer in 2023, but since I’ve played Tears of the Kingdom for more than 235 hours and spent a lot of time either riding the dragons or watching them pass by, I must have heard this music many, many times!
3 - This song came out this year, and apparently, I’ve listened to it 6 times.
4 - This one is actually a video. It’s a cover of a 1979 song originally sung by Dalida that was (and still is) very popular in France. I don’t particularly follow Bilal Hassani or his career, but I stumbled upon this performance and thought it was really beautiful. I probably listened to it 4 or 5 times in a just few days. For context, because I think it matters, around that time, he was scheduled to perform in a deconsecrated basilica (that now holds concerts and other cultural events), but the show had to be canceled for security reasons because he, and by extension his fans, received threats from “far-right Catholic groups”. The lyrics say, “Let me dance and sing freely.”
5 - I listened to this 3 times this year because I wanted to cleanse myself of the sped-up version I was tired of hearing in almost every video on the Internet at the beginning of 2023.
Artists
1 - I’ve listened to her new album, Gag Order, a few times. “Happy” made me cry.
2 - She’s probably in my “Top 5” every year, honestly.
3 - I often listen to the FFXV soundtrack. It’s amazing!
4 - Aside from Tears of the Kingdom, I’ve also played HITMAN: Freelancer for many hours this year... which means I’ve heard the soundtrack a lot. It’s good too!
5 - Disney soundtracks in general are also in my “Top 5” every year, I think.
Podcasts
I realize the list makes it seem like I’m really into the supernatural, but really, I just follow Jesse Cox and Kesha :’)
301 vues (“301 views”) is a French podcast hosted by YouTuber Cyprien and described as “the show that talks about the Internet”. Each episode has different guests.
And YouTube isn’t a podcast, but it’s what I watch (or just listen to, depending on the video) most of the time, often in the background when I’m eating, working, or drawing :)

F1 Drivers Want Answers From FIA Over "Who Is Getting Fired Next"
GPDA director George Russell says the FIA should offer greater clarity over what is happening in wake of latest dismissals
George Russell has suggested that the FIA needs to give Formula 1 drivers some clarity on "who is getting fired next" after the latest shock departures from the governing body. As reported by Motorsport.com, there has been fresh turmoil at the FIA ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix following the dismissal of two key figures. F2 race director Janette Tan was sacked shortly before she was due to take control of the final two rounds of the series, which means current F1 race director Rui Marques has expanded duties for now. Furthermore, senior steward Tim Mayer has been dropped from the roster following what is understood to have been a disagreement with FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem over matters relating to the track invasion at the United States Grand Prix. The latest changes, just a few weeks on from the surprise dismissal of F1 race director Niels Wittich, have prompted further concern from drivers at a time when they are desperate for more consistency from the FIA. Russell, who is a director of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association, thinks that the feeding of information from the FIA to competitors needs to be improved – revealing he only found out about Tan's departure through the media. "I mean, just when we've asked for, let's say, a bit of transparency and consistency, we're getting rid of two highly important people in the governing body," said Russell about the latest departures. "So it's kind of gone in a full 360. We still don't have any reasoning for Niels' removal. I don't think anybody was informed about Tim leaving, and the first I heard about the new race director doing Formula 2 this weekend as well was through the media."
Russell said that a big rotation of staff was far from ideal for any organisation, but he felt it essential that the FIA offered some explanations about what was happening, and especially what was planned for the future. "Naturally, in any organisation if you've got people leaving or a change of personnel, it is never going to be a stable environment, and people have to learn the new rules," he said. "That's very challenging for any team, and it must be super challenging for everyone within the FIA right now. We'd love to get a little bit of clarity and understanding of what's going on and, you know, who's getting fired next." While the exits of Tan and Mayer are concerns of their own, they come against the backdrop of an avalanche of departures from the FIA in recent months. In October it parted ways with its director of communications, Luke Skipper, and secretary general of mobility Jacob Bangsgaard. Late last year, both sporting director Steve Nielsen and single-seater technical director Tim Goss resigned, while Deborah Mayer, head of the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission, also left. The FIA's first CEO Natalie Robyn also quit the organisation in May after less than two years in the role. At a time when F1 is going from strength to strength under Liberty Media, Russell hopes what was going on within the FIA would not have wider consequences. "Definitely, when it comes to the FIA, so much is changing. Too much is changing and too quickly," added the Mercedes driver. "I think everybody has faith in Liberty and faith in Stefano [Domenicali]. You know, he was a racer and he's got racing in his blood, so he's doing everything he can to get the sport in the best place possible. I think the only concern for all of us is that the sport is in such a great place. Everyone's trying their best for the teams, and Liberty and Stefano have done such a great job. We just need to make sure that the sport stays in this position or continues to grow. And the only thing with all of this change, I hope it's not going to have a negative impact."

🇩🇰 Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark
Monday, March 6, 2023
“On Monday afternoon, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince participated in a briefing on Save the Child's work to combat digital violations and assault on children.
The digitized everyday life of young people increases the risk of minors being exposed to online violations and assault, and as the patron of Save the Child, the Crown Prince got aware of the organization's work to protect youth better online.
Red Barnet's general secretary Johanne Schmidt-Nielsen and Red Barnets chairman Niels Lund attended the briefing.”

I was tagged by @glowwormsmith! Thank you :)
Rules: Spell out your URL using song titles that can describe your muse/OC/pairings, then tag as many people as there are letters in your URL!
My URL isn’t the best for this game because it simply consists of the same two letters twice (I didn’t take the numbers into account), but I still scoured my entire music library to find titles that worked! I chose my OC Taylor Rook, John Seed, and the couple they form in my heart because of course I did. There are four letters in my username so I’m tagging four people: @cassietrn, @laindtt, @simplegenius042, and @strafethesesinners (only if you feel like doing this, of course)!
(Not all the tracks I wanted have lyrics, so I did this a little differently than you did and wrote a little “story” instead):
In Hope County, Taylor really became a “Lurking Danger” [Yoko Shimomura - Final Fantasy XV] and had to walk along many “Unfamiliar Paths” [Cliff Martinez - Far Cry 4]. John kept telling her, “Let The Water Wash Away Your Sins” [Dan Romer - Far Cry 5], but she remained “Untouchable” [Niels Bye Nielsen - HITMAN 2]. As for the Baptist, deep down, he was just a “Lost Child” [Brian Tyler - Far Cry 3], but on the outside, the thing most people noticed and talked about was his “Unsettling Aura” [Yoko Shimomura - Final Fantasy XV]. I wish he had had time to “Learn To Let Go” [Kesha - Rainbow]*, but all he did in the game was try to be “Unstoppable” [Sia - This Is Acting]*. Their story didn’t end well, so in another world, one that only exists in my head, they decide to “Let It Go” [Demi Lovato - Frozen] and stop being “Under The Gun” [Motörhead - Kiss of Death] all the time because I just want them to sing “Love Me Forever” [Motörhead - 1916]* and “Underneath Your Clothes” [Shakira - Laundry Service]* to each other instead!
*actually for these the lyrics also work

Mads Mikkelsen and Alicia Vikander in A Royal Affair (Nikolaj Arcel, 2012) Cast: Alicia Vikander, Mads Mikkelsen, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, Trine Dyrholm, David Dencik, Harriet Walter. Screenplay: Rasmus Heisterberg, Nikolaj Arcel, based on a novel by Bodil Steensen-Leth. Cinematography: Rasmus Videbæk. Production design: Niels Sejer. Costume design: Manon Rasmussen. Film editing: Kasper Leick, Mikkel E.G. Nielsen. Music: Cyril Aufort, Gabriel Yared. A Royal Affair features Alicia Vikander and Mads Mikkelsen, who are well-known in the United States, but they almost get the film stolen out from under them by Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, a young actor unknown on this side of the Atlantic. The film, as its title suggests, is a romantic historical drama. It's based on the story of the arranged marriage of Princess Caroline Matilda of Great Britain (a sister of George III) to King Christian VII of Denmark, and her affair with the king's adviser, the German physician Johann Friedrich Struensee, a story that, as the film is careful to point out, is an analog to the story of Guinevere, Lancelot, and Arthur. It's a rough analog, because unlike Arthur, Christian (Følsgaard), was quite mad. And except for cuckolding the king, Struensee (Mikkelsen) is really more Merlin than Lancelot to him -- a physician who tries to temper Christian's madness but also a political adviser determined to bring the ideas of Locke and Rousseau and other Enlightenment thinkers to feudal, priest-ridden Denmark. Director Nikolaj Arcel and co-screenwriter Rasmus Heisterberg naturally gravitate more toward the romance than the politics, using as their primary source a novel by Bodil Steensen-Leth that tells the story from the point of view of Caroline, who is as disgusted with her mad husband as he is indifferent to her. Vikander is splendid in the role as she goes from naive enthusiasm at the idea of marrying a king, even though she's never seen him before they're wed, to icy disillusionment and from indifference to Struensee to passion. Mikkelsen is a little stolid in his role: He communicates Struensee's passion for Enlightenment ideas better than he does his passion for Caroline. But Følsgaard has a grand time playing the mercurial Christian, who is sometimes plausibly sane and even likable, but mostly acts like a four-year-old in a grown man's body, with the additional danger of having the royal prerogative to do what he wants. Arcel does a good job of rising above the clichés of the genre, and cinematographer Rasmus Videbæk and production designer Niels Sejer do justice to the handsome settings, most of them in and around Prague.
