I first met the #goldenkiwi during my visit to Sydney in 2017. My best fried @donnapinedajimeno and her husband, Kuya Ed, treated me to a smorgasbord of Aussie experiences which included fresh fruit at every meal. I never really liked the regular kiwi because it was tangy and I preferred sweet.. that is, until I met it’s golden sibling. I fell in love. Now, whenever I see it on the shelf, I can’t resist grabbing some. And when I scoop out it’s succulent golden treat, I’m transported back to those happy times with the Jimenos.
