learning more about codename kids next door from the wiki and tvtropes. i dont plan on watching it i just love going on insane wiki dumps and getting invested in the lore of shows i'll forget about in a few days anyways

Pyrroh: imperfection; white-out on documents, wonky handmade items, old scars, chapped lips, authenticity told through flaws

Rorzak: community; paths made by foot traffic, waiting for the subway, lights blinking on through cityscapes as people wake up, people marching towards the same goal

Valtra: perseverance; skinned knees, catching breath, plants growing from ash, falling to the bottom and getting back up again

Pyrroh: someone who laughs easily. he won't end the day without having a little fun and will draw people in with him. they walk along the sidelines and soak in the world around them in a balancing act of being involved and not involved enough.

Rorzak: someone who cares deeply. so much it can hurt him. he's sensitive to the needs of others and pushes himself to solve problems for them, like if he tried hard enough, he could make up for every wrong.

Valtra: someone who is fiercely driven. they have an intense presence and admirable conviction to hone their abilities to further their ambition. they are sharp and decisive and almost seem untouchable.

🌿 What way does your OC show that they care without using words? What way do others show your OC that they’re cared about without using speech?

Pyrroh: physical touch. leaning his shoulder against theirs, rubbing a thumb over the back of their hand, laying his palm between their shoulder blades.

Rorzak: quality time. checking in often, plans around moments to set aside for them, insisting on meals together

Valtra: acts of service. handing over coffee they remembered the specifics of how the other likes it, finishing a task that he doesn't like to do, walking him to the door and not leaving until he's safe inside

i was getting coffee this arvo and some folks from the local firehouse came in and i had the best vantage point to just naturally observe them and i was just sat there wondering: what are their personalities like? what are the team dynamics? what are their individual skillsets and strengths? what led them to firefighting? what kind of calls do they get week to week? how do they kill downtime? and all because i watch the gay firefighter show.
