Furbies are Arboreal Predators

Furbies have forward facing eyes with round pupils. So not only are they predators, but they're arboreal predators at that.

Due to their short stature & lack of wings- They must be arboreal predators as unlike typical low-ground terrestrial dwelling predators, they lack slit shaped pupils like that of a cat, snake, or alligator.

The difference in pupil shape showcased by tigers versus domestic cats is evidence for this being the case as unlike their much smaller, closer to the ground cousins, the domestic cat, tigers have round pupils as they're much taller & occasionally hunt from trees.

The same can be said of low-ground dwelling mammalian predators & birds of prey- All birds of pray have large round pupils as to better spot pray from vast distances at high altitudes.

Knowing these facts, we can then infer that Furbies would follow these same trends & come to the conclusion that Furbies are arboreal predators- From what is considered the possible 'origin' or at least an 'older breed' of Furbies (do to its appearance & behaviors) once having distinctive claws, large feet resembling that of an ape's, & defined haunches, we can also conclude that this species as a whole was at least quite skillful at climbing & jumping- Thus allowing them to hunt from trees & possibly cliff sides.

As time passed & they were domesticated, these traits were practically bred out of them, yet the signs still remain. It can be seen in the case of the most recent breed once again having more sturdy, tough feet, dispite their unethical breeding which focuses primarily on aesthetics.

Furbies are arboreal predators.

Everyone meet stonesleeper, selkidomus and slitherbeast! my new triplets based on the owl house!!

They are super dirty so I’ve decided to make this a fun little summer project, each furb will be cleaned and given little additions based on what critters they are named after

They also might become my new backpack buddies since folklore is taking a break due to me not introducing him to anyone in my new highschool yet… I just finished freshman year and I want to make a good impression, or maybe I’ll just be the weird kid idk

Watching a video on obscure Pokemon facts and got jumpscared by Furbies... but then I noticed something peculiar. Has anyone ever seen the Harley-Davidson Furby before? The clip used in the video was from the Discovery Channel but I don't know what year or show it's from

EDIT: After doing a quick search on the logo, it seems that this Furby clip was recorded in 2013-2016. Hopefully that narrows it down!
