Hello furby tumblr! I finally got my first lil guy, nabbed him off mercari for $7 :3 he's a zebra furby buddy !!

I haven't decided yet if I wanna customize him... I have a busted up 1998 furb on the way who needs a lot of care so I'm probably gonna customize that one, and I'm not sure yet if I wanna do both. The buddy is still in good condition so i think for now I'll stick to just props that can be removed and maybe some painting on his faceplate? He's got some chips on his beak paint, can't decide if I wanna celebrate his "flaws" or make him new! and I kinda wanna give him new eyes?

(Can furby buddies eyes be removed like the 1998 furbys?)

That being said, HE STILL NEEDS A NAME!!

Please give me recommendations! I like both cursed and wholesome names, one idea I had was lisdexamphetamine but I also like cow! (It's silly cause he has stripes now spots hehe)

I’ve never seen it before, and it could be a prototype.

But if it isn’t a prototype, then I wonder if it was given out at some event like the event which occurred on February 19, 1999 where you could be one of the first people to obtain Furby Buddies plushies, or some other event that hasn’t been documented by the fandom.

It could’ve even been a contest prize or from a giveaway, since it has the Furby website on its tummy. You could sign up for a Tiger Toy Federation account on the Furby website which would give you access to content exclusively available to members, such as information, activities, freebies, and offers. So, what if this Furby was exclusive to a giveaway or contest for members?
