Do OW!Ford really loves bill or he's just being manipulated?
Wow, complex question. Let's explain it more carefully, shall we?
OWFord LOVES Bill, that's a fact, and OWBill LOVES Ford. Love isn't the issue, it's how they deal with love.
Ford is Aroace in this universe, he loves Bill platonically, not romantically, although they do get into some more “romantic” situations for their own comfort, such as kissing and getting close to each other. He loves OWBill through manipulation and also outside manipulation: OWFord was made to love (not romantically) OWBill since it became a prophecy, that is, from birth Bill manipulated Ford to admire, feel safe and adore his image.
Here's a text I wrote some time ago explaining this.
“Everything was about him.
Ever since he was a child, Stanford Pines had been fascinated by triangles, it was almost an obsession. His parents didn't care, they thought he was strange enough with those six fingers.
But for Stanford, when his eyes saw it, he felt proud of those deformed hands, it seemed right for a few seconds.
And it had always been like that, ever since he was a baby, everything that reminded him of eyes and triangles made him feel comfortable. Cracks, wood fibers, clouds, asphalt, leaves, everything that could possibly form a triangle made him wiggle. He was obsessed with making triangle origami and drawing eye on them, he liked the feeling, he couldn't understand why…
Stanley always teased him about it, saying that he thought too much about geometry, or as he put it “boring shape stuff”, Stanford thought it was absurd but laughed anyway.
Money notes stirred him every time he saw that triangle, it seemed that something in that shape was calling him, it seemed that that eye was watching him. It was. A little scary.
But he got used to it, he got used to the feeling of being watched.
The color yellow attracted him, not as his favorite color, but the color that brought him calm, he didn't quite understand.
When he got older, he found out about the Illuminatis, and something inside him told him how ridiculous it was, how disrespectful they were! It was a symbol of peace and security, not of cruel mysteries. He was frustrated by this more than he understood.
One detail that his observant mind noticed was that the triangular shape always seemed to be in dangerous situations with him, and that was the reason he was safe. Like the time he was almost hit by a car while playing with Stanley and just then a post with a “stop” triangle fell into the street before the car lethally hit him. Or the time when he was threatened by bullies and a triangular-shaped rock fell from the school roof, hitting the school leader on the head and driving them away.
He thought it was funny, it seemed that his obsession with triangles also came from the triangle, he attracted triangles!
When he got the chance to go to his dream college, unfortunately his triangle luck didn't work out, he lost everything and Stanley was to blame.
When he got to the college he could go to, more triangles followed him, the symbol of his bedroom area, the prints on his shirts, he seemed to have returned to luck.
Another piece of luck for him was Fiddleford, his classmate with a green shirt with triangles! It was a sign that he was safe with that man! And he was right, he was his closest friend until he decided to move for his research to Gravity Falls!
There, not only were weirdos like him attracted, but so were triangles? It was confusing, but it was what he felt he would find the answers to.
And there it was, symbols, signs and stories, it was there, there where he would find the reason why his weirdness matched and attracted him so well to that shape he had seen so much of next to him.
Even that painting, that blessed painting.
It was him. He was what it was all about. He was the answer.
The all-seeing eye, and the words were right there.”
So basically, yes, Ford loves Bill's image because of clear manipulation, but he also started to love him after meeting him, loving traveling with him, taking care of the twins, and well, he saw Bill's way of giving back in a way of his own, being interdimensional and so on, maybe it's just the way he is….
WELL IT WASN'T HAHAHA.

I got a little too obsessed and designed formal outfits for charles, edwin, and the cat king from dead boy detectives because I'm obsessed.
1st pic: charles, a red suit jacket with darker pants that have been cuffed and a black turtleneck and back Oxfords. A little uninspired compared to the next because I genuinely think he wouldn't be the type to wear formal clothes that he would just wear what he always wears but I didn't want to exclude him. It still felt very 80s to me though so I went with it.
2nd pic: edwin, a gray suit jacket, and wide leg trousers (which i chose intentionally to compliment his body type) . He's also wearing a matching blue bow tie and vest (in my head it's a corsetted vest but that was difficult to depict with the layers) and a black button up shirt. He's also wearing back owfords and black leather gloves (similar to the brown ones he wears in Canon).
3rd Pic: the cat king, a gray kilt with a black tuxedo jacket/tail coat and a black button up shirt and a black broach in the collar. He's also wearing the bacl combat boots we see a few times in Canon and some rings because I noticed he wears a few in Canon as well.

𝐌𝐘𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐓 & 𝐌𝐔𝐃𝐋𝐄𝐑 @governmentofficial
The car was stopping. That brought a little relief to Mycroft, though it did not complete placate him. Now that he had worked himself up into a state of worry, it was never going to be so simple to calm him back down again..
The thing was, it didn’t matter whether or not he had homework. It also didn’t matter what time they would get back. The issue was that he had been told that it would be a short journey, but it really wasn’t. It was a journey half way across the country! How could that ever be classed as short?!
It was hard to describe exactly why this was worrying him so much. Trust wasn’t the issue, but rather it was the simply fact that the lie wasn’t correct. He couldn’t explain it. Perhaps that wasn’t surprising, though. Mycroft was an incredibly smart boy, but describing his feelings was not something that he was very good at.
His feet had stopped tapping against the floor of the car, but his nervous behaviour had not ceased completely. As he listened to Mulder, one of Mycroft’s thumbs found its way into his mouth and he began to chew on it. Ice cream did sound good. While Mycroft was not certain that he could be completely bribed by it, the offer was definitely tempting…
“This is not a short journey,” the boy eventually repeated, “but if you promise that we will be back by nine and that we can have an ice cream… Okay. But you have to promise.”
In the end, the promise of a treat as a reward helped, but what really convinced Mycroft was the thought that Mulder might be disappointed in him if he asked to go back. He didn’t want to be thought of as whiny or weak or anything along those lines. The revelation of the length of their trip still didn’t sit well with him but, well, he supposed that he would just have to deal with it. That, and get a specific time frame whenever Mulder promised that something wouldn’t take long.
That was fair enough, supposed Mulder. Not that he understood Mycroft’s worries, or even why he thought this was a long journey. But this would be no fun if his partner in crime wasn’t enjoying their little escapade.
“Alright then,” he conceded, “I promise. We’ll be back by nine, and you get your ice cream.” It wasn’t hard for him to promise this anyway! He had assured him they’d be home early, and that he’d get an ice cream for his trouble. But well, Mycroft was young after all, so Mulder supposed that he still believed in the sanctity of promises.
“Alright, we gotta get going then, if we want to be on time,” said Mulder as he started driving again. Soon enough they were far from Owford. Now that this whole issue had been resolved, he turned on the radio. “Pick the music,” he offered him, in another attempt to hopefully make the teen feel better.
Mulder figured it’d be best to find an ice cream shop as quickly as possible, so that Mycroft could have his promised treat, and be less worried about this whole thing. So, he kept an eye on the various little stores going by every time they drove through a little town or village.

Genetic research of the causes of extra liver iron could result in higher therapy
http://tinyurl.com/yxj86uwa Credit score: CC0 Public Area Excessive ranges of iron within the liver are linked to quite a lot of severe well being situations together with most cancers, diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular in addition to liver illness. However measuring liver iron is troublesome and till just lately may solely be carried out by means of an invasive biopsy. Now researchers from College of Exeter, U.Okay., along with colleagues from the College of Westminster,London, UK, Lund College, Sweden and Perspectum Diagnostics, Owford, UK, have proven that genes regulating iron metabolism within the physique are chargeable for extra liver iron. These genes are the driving explanation for excessive ranges of iron within the liver in populations of European, particularly Celtic, ancestry, and counsel that that is more than likely a systemic and never organ-related downside. This discovering can level the best way to easy methods for decreasing the surplus. The analysis is introduced on the annual convention of the European Society of Human Genetics in the present day (Monday). Dr. Hanieh Yaghootkar and colleagues carried out genome-wide affiliation research on liver iron content material, measured by way of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), in 8200 volunteers who had supplied organic samples to the U.Okay. Biobank. Genome-wide association studies work by scanning markers throughout the whole units of DNA of huge numbers of individuals to be able to discover genetic variants related to a selected situation. They discovered three unbiased genetic variants related to larger liver iron and concerned within the manufacturing of hepcidin, a protein that regulates the entry of iron into the blood. The outcomes had been validated in 1500 people whose information had been collected within the pan-European Diabetes Analysis on Affected person Stratification (DIRECT) Consortium. “That is the primary time such a research has been carried out in an unselected, massive inhabitants,” says Dr. Yaghootkar. The investigators used a genetic method to discover the causal hyperlink between larger waist-to-hip ratio and elevated liver iron content material. This supplied genetic proof that larger central (stomach) weight problems was related to elevated liver iron ranges. “There are animal research that point out that fats cells set off macrophages, a kind of white blood cell, to trigger irritation, and that this in flip results in faulty iron dealing with within the liver. We have to analysis this affiliation additional, however it’s a believable clarification of the phenomenon,” says Dr. Yaghootkar. The truth that the mechanisms inflicting elevated liver iron had been generalized and never organ-specific implies that excessive iron ranges most likely happen in different organs too, together with the mind. The researchers discovered an affiliation between extra iron and plenty of different issues, together with neuropsychiatric situations. As a result of the scientific manifestations of elevated iron ranges are so numerous, a multi-specialty method will probably be wanted to evaluate and consider new therapies, together with treating sufferers with hepcidin to cut back iron accumulation. MRI is continuous for 100,000 people within the Biobank research. “This can permit us to search out many extra genetic components related to this trait. We’re additionally thinking about performing such research in different ethnicities, since our present outcomes are solely legitimate for folks of European ancestry,” Dr. Yaghootar will conclude. Chair of the ESHG convention, Professor Joris Veltman, Director of the Institute of Genetic Medication at Newcastle College, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.Okay., mentioned: “Iron overload is dangerous for the physique and must be tightly regulated. The genetic research introduced on the ESHG in the present day reveals a key function for genes regulating iron metabolism, and likewise revealed a hyperlink between sure forms of weight problems and iron overload.” New treatment for iron overload on trial Extra info: Summary no: C. 21.5 Genome-wide affiliation research of MRI liver iron content material in 9,800 people yields new insights into its hyperlink with hepatic and extrahepatic ailments Offered by European Society of Human Genetics Quotation: Genetic research of the causes of extra liver iron could result in higher therapy (2019, June 17) retrieved 17 June 2019 from https://medicalxpress.com/information/2019-06-genetic-excess-liver-iron-treatment.html This doc is topic to copyright. One thing I've always wanted to ask. What is Stanley and Stanford's relationship like in Reverse Falls and OurWorld AU?
hi! So, in other posts I've already answered this more or less, but I think it's nice to summarize it here!
First, in Reverse Falls
Ford and Stanley's relationship is less troubled than in GF, because Stanley didn't “ruin” Ford's future and break the machine. As long as Ford Gleeful is a complicated person who doesn't want to improve and Stanley Gleeful is a complicated person trying to improve, that's quite a pair. But is their relationship in itself a good one? Stanford doesn't show much affection, but he wanted to help Stanley by giving him an easy life and a place to have fun, giving him the Tent (even though that came with ulterior motives too, but still, part of it was him being a good brother).
Stanley, on the other hand, has complicated feelings towards Ford, despite everything he wants to support him in whatever project he's doing, but Stanley has a certain internalized homophobia (note: he's gay) in his mind, always judging Ford and Will and whatever they have. Anyway, it's a funny dynamic since Stanford doesn't even care about Stanley's looks.
Despite everything, they're good brothers most of the time, sharing parenthood to look after the Twins and cooperating with each other, nothing too intimate like the close-knit brothers they were when they were younger.
But on Our World AU
Here we have brothers who are completely contubated.
OwFord is in complete alienation from Bill, and all he thinks is that Stanley was the flawed twin who was made to ruin everything in his life, it's a terrible thought, but well, OwBill wants exactly that for Ford, since Stanley would be the key to Ford coming out of alienation.
Ford wants to stay away from Stanley because he is the link that causes the realization of everything he has done against the earth and humanity, Ford hates feeling this guilt, and that's why he avoids Stanley. But despite everything, he protected him from death in Weirdmaggedon and wanted him to have a new life in the new world.
Stanley, on the other hand, is an insistent brother, and rightly so. He wants to get Stanford away from Bill's manipulation and won't stop until he succeeds. He just wants to help his brother, and Ford's constant denial frustrates him more than it should, sometimes causing him to explode at his brother and threaten to take him away by force.
Eventually Stanley manages to save Ford… but it may already be too late…
#ourworldau#reverse falls#ask#oh i loved to answer it#please don't be mad that Reverse Stanley is homophobic#I swear he has a development of self-acceptance#especially after the Twins
