Sometimes, sometimes the parents genuinely wanted their kids back but couldn't find them due to her magic... in those cases she watched and waited but they....they were different. She could feel it. " Hello darlings, are you lost "

Being wanted by witch hunters was already one thing, but recently they got their eyes on her younger brother as well, this changed everything. Alice didn't fear for her own life, but rather for the lives of her loved ones.

Now the two ventured deeper into this forest, while it was similar where she used to live, they eventually got lost. Their only hope from this predicament was for the hunters would give up.

The siblings didn't hear them anymore, until they heard another voice from the other side, which Cassidy quickly went behind his older sister, grasping her sleeve in anxiousness.

"Are you here to help us?" Alice asked, partially shielding her brother with her arm from the other's view, still a bit wary of the mysterious woman, yet her aura seemed quite familiar to theirs.

Casandra kept her distance from the other elf witch, the last elf she meet was...her mother and cousin. It had been a good while since she's seen her cousin so she had no idea how to interact with another like....them.

She didn't know if she should consider herself an eld considering she's a mix-breed. Those thoughts were muffed by the slow yet quite questin.

Should she say hi ? Will she be rejected.....what is this woman like ?

And so the witch of the woods watched the other in silence.

While the other was unsure about talking to the other, the Quemada Rosenfae from Mystic Metropolis however wasn't too bothered by catching someone's gaze-- much less a fellow witch.

Charice was just done shopping for some fruits to use to snack on when she's busy using her braincells to study and or practicing her skills. She's no stranger to some of the elves in Lilium and even less of a stranger to the witches from the witches association as it was a relatively small group so seeing someone like her certainly wasn't an everyday occurrence.

When Charice noticed the fellow witch, she couldn't help but noticed the features on her ears. Is she an elf too, or a race related to elves? Regardless of the question, curiosity got the better of the red eyed witch. So with interest in her face, she spoke up as she walked towards her.

"Hola Señora--" she said, flicking her wrist and like magic she now had a special rose she's holding.

The flower she was holding was like a glowing red rose with pedals that gets more yellow, with the most yellow being at the part where the petals are connected to the stem of the rose. It had a warm glow to it-- literally as it was warm the closer one gets to it. It wasn't that hot-- just warm enough to use the flower to warm someone up in colder environments.

"It's not often meeting a fellow witch among these woods. Do you happen to be part of the Witches Association here as well?"

A sharp gaze looked at his new partner for a long moment, his council all but forced him to take a wife. He knew their marriage wasn't a normal one nor was it an expected one. He had thought his kingdom would be overlooked due to it still recovering from the civil it went through.

And yet,

Zhao was not one to beat around the bush when it came to what was his, and even if he was an unfit ruler he still had a kingdom and his siblings to protect. It was best to get to know his new wife know while he could.

Neither of them were ones to jumble around subjects like others might, they were blunt & to the point. It wasn't as if Suzanne was forced into this, far from it, Yi Dan's council still needed the okay from Camellia's king, & John would not marry off his daughter without her consent.

Zhao knew this, & it was why he asked, along with the various issues his nation already faced. Who would want to come here? There were plenty of other prosperous nations to wed into.

Onyx eyes shifted over to her new husband, last he would have saw of them, they would have been red a crimson. They held a sharpness, but no malice.

"For the power & influence your throne gives me." If Zhao had been anyone else, someone she didn't know from her younger, purer days, she would have told one of her half truths. Said something less bold. About simply wanting to help the ailing people of Yi Dan. Not a lie, but also not the full of her desire.
