#overwatch reyes

I always like looking at the designs of weapons, whether it be the newly released, old, or lore skins.

However, I noticed something about specifically the overwatch uniform skins and Reaper's Blackwatch, ov1, and ov2 skin.

With Overwatch's skins like Combat Medic Ziegler and Cadet Oxton, you see labels on their weapons, abbreviated, but make sense nonetheless.

Cadet Oxton - "TRCR-01" (Tracer 01)

Combat Medic Ziegler - "VAL01" (Valkyrie 01)

But with Reyes, it goes from...

- "BLK001" (black 001, Blackwatch (Blackwatch Reyes))

- "RPNT" (Repent (OV1 SKIN))

and then...

"RPNT-L4" (Repent Lover)

...

Reyes, man. You're so dramatic.

Dude, Reyes, high offense, that is not something you say to someone. 'Specially not that. Especially not to Cassidy, bud.

Also...um...not the backhanded compliment. Specifically towards Overwatch.

That "to do the real work of keeping the world safe" irks me in a way that it downplays any of Overwatch's accomplishments, and there's many.

But I think you really get that insight on how Reyes sees his methods versus the ones being used in the public eye. He doesn't think it's doing anything, more importantly, he doesn't think it's necessarily *real* work. Physical damage over political damage.

On a side note to heroes ascendant, Jack's constant self depreciation the trauma memories of Zurich is not something I thought I'd be reading about. I knew it was bound to happen, but I didn't expect to have it happen here.

Whether it be the light jokes to ease the mood to ease the tension, like a memory of Cassidy taking a stapler to Saipan as an office prank, or Sombra literally having to stand on Jack's shoulders in order to be tall enough to reach something (that actually happens, yes), but there's an elephant in the room.

And it's Jack mentioning that even Reyes was shocked about the explosion the moment it happened.

There's always that room that you could say people don't remember things the same way you do, but the fact that Jack found something that didn't belong within all of the memorabilia he found, and Sombra herself even knew, it solidified it.

I highly suggest you read heroes ascendant, I managed to get mine with a sale on Amazon.
