It was inevitable that this day would come so soon. The man never stops, he continues paddling the boat. Do you want to escape? Jump in the water. See how far you can swim before drowning. What will you do? Will you arrive at your destination? Or will you try to jump in the water? It doesn’t matter what you do, today is when you let out your last breath. … So that’s it. You finally have the courage to do it. This is it, the only time you actually lived in your life. You jumped in the water. Your breath is fading. Go on, swim. Everything that was in this river is pushing you down to its depths. A million grips on your body. The tide has already called your name. Drown. But you see something, something bright. Something beautiful. A hand is reaching to you. Go on. Try to grab it. Swim, swim, swim and swim. You have to reach that hand. It’s the thing you always wanted the most. Your fingers are right there. once again the murderbot diaries are coming straight for my overly compassionate soul. first MIKI and now 3??? bots and constructs that just want to help?? all of the sentient technology have their clients/humans as their first priority and though they may be assholes, their interactions and inner monologue are extremely caring. it’s so beautiful how for so long of this audiobook, i’m hearing murderbot recount its humans’ actions and learning to understand itself through them? but now the possibility of murderbot 1.0 dying is imminent?? ohhh peri/A.R.T. I hope you succeed my terrifying friend who watches worldhoppers over people’s shoulders. the central themes of this series are freedom (subsequently learning what you want when you’ve never been given the choice before), interpersonal conflict with a side of introspection, and acknowledgement of how soul crushing being owned by a corporation can be (trauma that comes with it etc.). GOD I LOVE THE MURDERBOT DIARIES.

Recent Nightmares

Hello there, Angel. Sorry for the sudden call, but there's something that I need to tell you.

Recently, I've noticed something... Quite odd happening with the souls. They are having a lot of... Nightmares. This was not something I had any knowledge of, so, I decided to check... And I was quite shocked at what I found.

I watched the nightmares, and I soon discovered that these weren't just some ordinary bad dream. They had some kind of meaning behind it, but I'm not quite sure what.

I couldn't just leave it at that, so, I decided that I'm going to leave it for you to figure out what's happening. It's your job, after all.

I have a feeling that... Something you must know is hiding behind them.

Don't think I won't be doing anything, though! I'm extracting those nightmares for you to be able to see, and that's not an easy task!

Currently, I was able to extract two of them. One is from an unknown origin... I may try to find out who it belongs to in the future. The second belongs to Soul N.10, Akari Yonem, take that as you will.
