I think there's something quietly silly about Vessel. We know there's the gentle quiet man that other bands mention, and there's the silly Summoning Shenanigans, Walkaline, mic stand loving boy.

All this to say, I think early relationship cuddles with Vessel are purely for comfort. He wants to be your pillow, your blanket, your mattress. Very chaste. Makes sure you're comfy to the point of your annoyance. Giving up that control is hard when you care about someone!

But in time...he learns where you're ticklish. He learns how to pester you and keep you retaliating by squeezing you tight against him. You'll be comfy with your pillow/blanket/mattress boy but YOU, dear reader, will be his little squeaky toy. He'll figure out where he can kiss and nibble to make you squeal.
