Integrating Overhead Doors in Oklahoma City, OK and OKC With Smart Home Technology
In the rapidly advancing landscape of smart home technology, the integration of intelligent solutions extends beyond the confines of living rooms and bedrooms. Now, Oklahoma City (OKC) homeowners are embracing the future by incorporating smart features into unexpected areas of their homes, including overhead doors. The role of overhead doors in Oklahoma City, OK, and OKC's smart homes has become pivotal, providing residents with convenience, security, and a seamless connection to the broader home automation ecosystem.
Remote Operation for Ultimate Convenience:
Gone are the days of manually lifting and lowering garage doors. Smart overhead doors now offer the convenience of remote operation, allowing homeowners to control their garage doors with a button on their smartphones. Whether arriving home or sending off a family member, the ability to open and close the overhead door remotely enhances daily life.
Enhanced Security Monitoring:
Smart overhead doors contribute significantly to the security of OKC homes by providing real-time monitoring capabilities. Homeowners can receive alerts on their smartphones if the garage door is opened unexpectedly, adding an extra layer of protection against potential intruders. This feature is particularly valuable for those prioritizing the safety and security of their families and belongings.
Integration with Home Automation Systems:
The true power of smart overhead doors in OKC lies in their seamless integration with home automation systems. These doors can be synchronized with other smart devices and systems, creating a cohesive and interconnected home environment. For example, as a homeowner approaches, the overhead door can communicate with the smart thermostat to adjust the temperature or activate the home security system.
Time-Based Automation:
Smart overhead doors can be programmed based on time and location. Homeowners can set schedules for their garage doors to automatically open or close at specific times, ensuring that the doors are secure when needed. Additionally, using geofencing technology, the doors can respond to the homeowner's proximity, automatically opening as they approach and closing once they've safely entered.
User-Friendly Mobile Apps:
Manufacturers of smart overhead doors offer dedicated mobile apps that provide an intuitive interface for users. These apps allow homeowners to monitor the status of their overhead doors, receive notifications, and control door operations remotely. The user-friendly nature of these apps makes integrating overhead doors into a smart home system a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Energy Efficiency Considerations:
Some smart overhead doors in Oklahoma City, OK, and OKC  come with energy-efficient features. For instance, the doors can be programmed to close automatically after a set period, reducing the loss of conditioned air from the home. This enhances energy efficiency and contributes to cost savings on utility bills.
The convenience, security, and compatibility with broader home automation systems make smart overhead doors a valuable addition to the modern smart home landscape in Oklahoma City. As technology continues to evolve, so too will the role of these intelligent overhead doors in enhancing the overall living experience for residents.

write me a fic where like everyone lived but over time the gang all moved out of Tulsa and stopped talking as much- and how those idiots reunited and what was it like?
UGHHHH I LOVE HOW YOU THINK POOKIE
I am NOT good at writing fics so this is probably gonna be either bad or ooc (probably both)
Tumblr media
Ponyboy leans back in his chair, stretching his arms above his head and groaning at the feeling of his back popping. He's really gotta stop hunching over his desk like this.
He surveys his work so far. The book is nowhere near done, and he's still gotta edit it, but he's happy with his progress.
As he's putting his laptop away, the phone on his desk rings. He groans, assuming its the publishing house asking about his progress again. He picks it up regardless.
"Hello?"
"Pony?"
"Soda?"
Pony hasn't heard from either of his brothers in a while. It's not that they're on bad terms, it's just that none of them have reached out, at least not to Ponyboy.
"Hey Pony. Uh- Johnny's coming in next week. I know this is last minute, but do ya' wanna come over? We're all gonna be there."
What, did Soda think Ponyboy wanted nothing to do with any of them? Maybe he is as dumb as he says he is.
"Course, Soda. Where? The old house?"
"Yeah. Darry's just as stubborn as he's always been, didn't wanna get out."
They both laugh. Pony wonders why he hadn't reached out before now.
"I'll be there. Even Dally'll be there?"
"Yup. I'm just as shocked, but I think Dally'd do anything for Johnny."
Dally had moved back to New York shortly after he'd turned 18. Up state. He didn't want anything to do with New York City. Last Ponyboy heard, he was going to Watertown.
Pony had never heard of it, but it's not like he could convince Dally not to do something. Nobody could, except for Johnny.
Dally had wanted to move to Rochester, but Johnny's mom had moved there shortly before, and Johnny didn't wanna run into her while visiting Dally.
"Right. I'll get on a plane as fast as I can."
"Alright, Cali-boy."
Pony snorts. "Don't call me that."
The line goes dead, indicating Soda had hung up. Pony puts the phone back on the receiver.
The phone ringing cuts through the air. Pony groans. That's definitely the publishing house now.
✧・゚: *━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━*:・゚✧
Ponyboy didn't think he'd be flying places so soon. Sure, he'd had to travel for those book signings last month, but he usually only does those every couple years since they take a lot out of him.
As he grabs his luggage from the overhead bin and shuffles out of the plane with the crowd, trying to avoid being recognized even if he's in Oklahoma, he can't help but feel excited.
He hasn't seen the gang in years. Dally had moved out the second he could, as did Steve.
Two-Bit stayed with his mama for a couple more years after that until she got fed up with him doing nothing but drink all day and kicked him out.
Johnny moved out as soon as he could, and Ponyboy doesn't blame him. His dad had stayed in town afterall, even after Johnny's mom left to live closer to her family.
Ponyboy left before Sodapop did, even though he's younger. Darry hadn't left, apparently.
Ponyboy was just gonna grab a rental car and head out to Tulsa, but he gets absolutely body slammed by someone as soon as he's out in the main lobby. Pony shrieks and starts to fight the unknown person off, until he hears them laugh.
"Sodapop Curtis!" He scolds Soda. "You nearly gave me a heart attack!"
"I can't help it! I was just so excited to see you!"
Ponyboy huffs, sitting up as Soda gets off him.
"Help me up, asshole."
Soda snickers and does as Ponyboy asked him to.
"You got everything? I'll drive you."
"Yeah, I got everything."
Sodapop smiles at him. Ponyboy can't help but smile back, regardless of how annoyed he is.
✧・゚: *━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━*:・゚✧
When Ponyboy gets through the door he's already being tackled again.
"Ponyboy!"
"Keith!" He squawks, "Get off!"
Sodapop laughs as he steps around them. "You're awful popular today, Pony."
Darry yanks Two-Bit off him, tossing him on the couch right on top of Steve. Two-Bit continues to cackle even as Steve shouts at him and Darry.
"Sorry, Pony. I've been tryin' to reel him in." Darry helps Pony up off the floor.
"It's alright, Darry. I know you've probably got you hands full with him and Dal and Soda."
"Dal ain't here yet, Pone," Johnny pipes up. He'd been so quiet Ponyboy hadn't even noticed him there.
Pony grins, going in for a hug. "Hey, Johnny."
Johnny smiles back, hugging Ponyboy tight. Jesus, the guy's gotten tall. "Hey, Pony. How you been? How's Cali?"
Pony shrugs. "Well, it's Cali." Ponyboy pulls away from Johnny, but keeps him within arms reach by settling his hands on Johnny's shoulders. "How's Mexico?"
"Fine, better than stayin' with my old man."
Johnny had moved in with his dad's side of the family in Mexico. They're nicer than him, which makes Ponyboy wonder what the hell happened to that man to make him so bitter.
"Ain't that the truth? How long are you stayin'?"
"Just a week, then my visa runs out. Wish I could stay longer," Johnny sighs.
"Wish I could too. Where's Dally?"
"Probably still on the plane. I think it takes longer to get here from Watertown than Los Angeles."
"It does," Pony confirms, "Only took me three hours to get here."
Johnny pulls Pony into a hug again. "Still too long, I think," He mumbles into Pony's shoulder.
Ponyboy rolls his eyes, patting Johnny's back. "Yeah, yeah."
✧・゚: *━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━*:・゚✧
Dally comes through the door an hour after everyone gets settled. Johnny hops right off the couch to greet Dally with a hug.
Dally doesn't push him back, but only pats his back. "Glory, kid. You got tall. What're they puttin' in the water down there?"
"Missed you, Dal."
"Missed you too, Johnnycake." Dally pats him on the back one more time, and then gently pushes Johnny back.
"How's Watertown?"
"Fine. Ain't like New York City, that's for sure."
"Well, that's good." Johnny smiles.
"Kinda. It's kinda boring, too."
Johnny snickers. "Good to see you haven't changed much, Dal."
"You ain't changed either, Johnnycake." Dally grins.
Johnny rolls his eyes. "Oh, I've changed plenty, Dal."
"Agree to disagree. Where's Cali-boy?"
"Quit callin' me that!" Pony shouts from his old bedroom. Darry had told him he could set up there for the week.
"Well, there he is." Johnny smiles.

From Rust to Revival: Transform Your Garage Door with Repair - CCM Overhead Door
Rust and deterioration are common challenges that garage doors face, especially in regions with varying weather conditions. This guide will provide you with valuable insights and practical steps to transform your garage door from a rusty eyesore to a revitalized focal point of your home. CCM Overhead Door is dedicated to helping you restore your garage door's appearance and performance.
Assessing the Damage
The first step in transforming your garage door is to assess the extent of the damage. Look for signs of rust, peeling paint, dents, and other forms of wear and tear. Determine whether the issues are cosmetic or if they affect the door's functionality.
Cleaning and Rust Removal
Cleaning: Start by cleaning the entire surface of your garage door. Use a mild detergent and a soft brush or cloth to remove dirt, grime, and loose paint. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Rust Removal: For rusted areas, you can use a wire brush or sandpaper to remove the rust. Be sure to wear protective gear, including gloves and safety glasses, during this process.
Priming: After rust removal, apply a rust-inhibiting primer to the affected areas. This will help prevent further rust from forming.
Repairing Dents and Damage
Inspect your garage door for dents or damage to the panels. Minor dents can often be repaired using a plunger or a similar tool. For more extensive damage, consider replacing damaged panels or seeking professional repair services.
Repainting and Refinishing
Selecting Paint: Choose a high-quality exterior paint that is suitable for metal surfaces. Opt for a color that complements your home's aesthetic.
Preparation: Before painting, ensure that the surface is clean and dry. Use masking tape to protect areas you don't want to paint, such as windows and hardware.
Paint Application: Apply the paint evenly using a brush or roller. Multiple thin coats are often better than a single thick coat. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for drying times between coats.
Finishing Touches: Once the paint is dry, consider adding a clear sealant or protective finish to enhance durability and provide added protection against the elements.
Routine Maintenance
To prevent future rust and deterioration, establish a routine maintenance schedule. Regularly inspect your garage door for signs of wear and perform touch-up painting and rust removal as needed.
Conclusion
Transforming your garage door from a rusty eyesore to a revitalized feature of your home is a rewarding endeavor. By following these steps and taking proactive measures, you can restore the beauty and functionality of your garage door. Whether you choose to tackle the repairs yourself or seek professional assistance from expert garage door repair service in Oklahoma City, OK like CCM Overhead Door, the result will be a garage door that enhances the curb appeal and value of your property.

Almost Paradise ( Owen Patrick Joyner Fic )
Hey everyone! This story is gonna be a Owen Patrick Joyner story and I will be pairing the reader with Owen, so I’ll put Y/N anytime the main character is mentioned or is talking. This is my first story since high school so please bear with me as the writing will slowly become better the more I write. I hope all you fellow Owen simps like myself like this story. FYI this story takes place if COVID 19 never existed. Please check out my best friend Sydney ( @imsydneywalker) for cute Charlie Fics. Love Yall.
Summary: Y/N just turned 22 and decided to make a spontaneous trip to L.A California USA from Dieppe,New Brunswick, Canada to visit her best friend Charlie Gillespie for her 22nd birthday present to herself. He doesn’t know she’s coming, hence the surprise. But little does she know would she get a little surprise of her own on her way to America.
Chapter 1: Someday
House outfit: https://urstyle.fashion/styles/2814065
*Week before Reader’s birthday* 2021
Y/N’s thoughts: It has been forever since I’ve last seen my best friend Charles Jeffrey Gillespie or how I like to call him Arlo *as I hold onto the necklace he gave me for my 15th birthday*. Weird nickname I know, but I’ve been calling him that since kindergarten and I’m not changing it. It’s almost my 22nd birthday so I felt like I should treat myself to a present of seeing my best friend for a little while. Momma bear doesn’t know yet but I don’t think she’ll care as much since she loves Charlie as one of her own kids, so just taking a trip cross country shouldn’t be too hard to tell her. Right? Let’s find out.
*Y/N walks down to the kitchen from her bedroom*
“Hey mami,” Y/N says as she sits on one of the barstools, popping a green grape and dipping it into nutella into her mouth.
“Yes Y/N nickname?” Y/N’s mom says in a what do you want tone, while finishing cleaning up the kitchen after dinner.
“What?” Y/N asks.
“I already know you want something. You never come back downstairs after dinner unless you’re getting a snack or you want something. I’m your mother, remember.”
“Damn, that predictable huh? Anyways, yes I wanted to ask you something or more like tell you something. So I was thinking for my 22nd birthday I could possibly fly down to America and see your adopted son for a couple weeks. You know I’ve been wanting to move down to L.A so why not go for my birthday. I’d obviously stay at Arlo’s, money shouldn’t be an issue since I’ve been saving plus birthday money from past years. Sooo?” Y/N finishes saying while looking at her mom with puppy eyes.
“You already bought your plane ticket didn’t you?” your mom says while staring at you with one eyebrow raised.
“.... maybe…. no actually, I wanted to see what you’d say first before splurging.” Y/N  says while looking down at the bowl of grapes and looks up again to smile cheeky at her mom.
Your mom rolls her eyes and laughs. “ Sure, why not. Do you want me to call Maman J so she can tell Charlie?” your mom asks.
“No no, I want it to be a surprise. It’s kind of a birthday present to myself since Arlo decided to be like “ I wanna be an actor and blah blah blah”. You say mimicking him.
“Alright, well as an early birthday present, I’ll buy your ticket. Should I make it a round trip or a one way?”
“Ummm make it a one way trip, I’ll let you know when I want to come home. You know Arlo, he always has some random hiking trip he wants to take, and knowing him he might drag me to one of those trips” you say rolling your eyes.
“No problem. You better go upstairs and start packing.” your mom says.
*You dip one last green grape into nutella and pop it into your mouth before you hop off the bar stool to give your mom a kiss* “You’re the best mami!”
*You run back to your room and start planning the whole trip*
*5:30pm One day before reader’s birthday and your flight*
*you're sitting on your bed finishing up some last minute packing, when you hear a knock at your door.*
“Come in.” Y/N says without turning around.
“Hey hun.” your mom says.
*you turn around to face your mom* “Hey mami, whats up?” *you say while sitting on top of your luggage trying to close it*
Your mom chuckles, “Here is your plane ticket for your flight, it's at 5:55am, you have a connecting flight to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma which will have a connecting flight to L.A.X.”, your mom says handing you the tickets. “So you better finish packing and get some rest.”
*You reach for the tickets while trying not to fall of your luggage* “Awesome, thanks mami.”
“No problem, just get some rest ok. I will drive you to the airport.” your mom says while walking out of your room.
“Ok!” you yell through the door. *You finally got the luggage to close* “YES!” you say standing up on the edge of your bed but then proceed to fall off your bed in the process which leads to a loud thud hitting the floor. “I’M OK!” you yell before your mom asks.
You place your luggages and carry ons by your door and start getting ready for bed. You look into the mirror one last time and stare at the picture of you and Charlie at the waterfront, ( https://www.instagram.com/p/B-suC_WF8Cu/) ( just pretend its yall, I know its like his cousin or friend)
“L.A.X I’ll see you tomorrow.” you say to yourself before walking to bed.
*Reader’s birthday* 3:00am
Airport Outfit: https://urstyle.fashion/styles/2813992 (girl on the left is what your hair looks like)
*your phone goes off at 3:00 am with the song I See Fire by Ed Sheeran playing from your phone softly.*
*You groan annoyingly wondering why you’re up so early, when you realize it is your 22nd birthday and you have a flight to catch in two hours. You spring out of bed, pop your airpods in and blair The OtherSide from The Greatest Showman and begin getting ready for your long day of flying*
*Dancing towards your bathroom, you turn on your shower to warm up and start brushing your teeth. You lay out the outfit you will be wearing to the airport on your bed, take out your headphones and head into the shower.*
*20 mins later. You hear a knock on your bathroom door*
“Almost done sweetie?” your mom asks.
“Yes, I’m just finishing up, I’ll be down soon.” you say through the door.
*Because you’re going to the airport you didn’t put too much makeup on, just enough to make yourself look kind of awake on the flights. You put your hair in a messy bun, put on your jean jacket, take one last look in the mirror before you shut off the light and head out.*
*You look around your room to make sure you grab any last minute items for your carry on. Especially making sure you have your Beats, charger, spare hair elastics and gum. You go to grab your luggage when you realize your mom already did and placed them in the car. Best mom ever. You grab your guitar case and your bag and head out.*
*Skip the car ride, you’re already at the airport*
“You’re sure you have everything right?” your mom asks while taking the stuff out of the car.
“Yes, I promise, I have everything I need. If I forgot anything important I will call you and have it shipped to Arlo’s.” you say while closing the trunk of the car.
“Alright, have a safe trip hun, please be safe and try not to get Charlie in too much trouble ok?” your mom says while hugging you goodbye.
*GASP* “ HEY! I’m a good noodle, Arlo’s the one who dared me to jump in the fountain at the mall. You know me I could never pass up a good dare.” you say while breaking the hug.
“Haha, yes I know which leads you to getting sick. Remember, it was winter.” your mom retorts back.
“ Yeah yeah I know, I’m still a good noodle though.” You chuckle while grabbing your stuff again.
Your mom shakes her head, “Go before you miss your flight silly.” She says while turning you around.
“Ok, ok I get it you want me gone.” You say laughing while walking towards the automatic doors.
“OH SWEETIE!” your mom calls out.
You turn around. “Yes?” you ask
“Happy Birthday!” your mom yells in front of everybody.
You stare at her like really. “Thanks mami. I love you too”
*You walk inside the airport and walk towards the check in line to check in all your luggages.*
*Skip to you’re already on the plane before take off.*
*You check your phone for the time, plug in your Beats, place them on and hit shuffle before. You look out the window watching the sun just barely starting to rise before you close it and begin to read your book, for the next 4 hours.*
*4 hours later*
*You finish up one of your books, you pull off your headphones just in time to hear the pilot announce that you guys are about to land. You place your book and headphones back into your bag and prepare to land.*
* You get off the plane and check the time on your phone to notice that your connecting flight is almost here and you begin to panic. You check your ticket and realize that of course your flight is on the other end of the terminal, so you begin to run and book it to the other end, hoping you’ll make it on time.*
“Excuse me! Sorry! Sorry! Excuse me!” you say as you weave through airport traffic.
*Half way through your running spree you look down at your phone again to make sure you didn’t miss your flight when you feel your arm get tugged from behind you. You notice one of yours and someone else’s luggage clipped each other by the wheels and they both go flying. “Sorry, my bad.” you say as you grab a luggage, not even looking up to see who you collided with and go back to your sprinting.*
“Yes!” you say to yourself as you make it to your gate. The flight hasn’t boarded yet so you take a seat and wait for your row to be called. You get to your gate, hand the lady your ticket and proceed to board your flight.
*You place your carry-on luggage into the overhead bin and take your seat, when you notice a very sweaty guy just barely making it onto the flight. You chuckle to yourself.*
*3 hours later*
“Alright passengers, we will be landing very shortly. The weather today is 89 degrees, partly cloudy, and 40% of humidity. Welcome to Los Angeles, California passengers.” the pilot announces over the intercom.
*You place your headphones back on, and calmly this time walk off the plane and head towards baggage claim*
*As you’re waiting your favorite song Someday by Max Schneider starts to play. You begin to sway back and forth, humming to the tune when you then feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn around to see who it was and begin to stare at him weirdly wondering why you can’t hear the guy talk*
“Oh shit, my bad. Forgot.” you say as you take off your headphones to actually hear what the guy was saying.
“It's cool, all I was saying was that I was sorry for colliding with you back in Oklahoma. I wasn’t paying attention, I was in a rush and didn’t see you. It wasn’t until after that I noticed that the gate was in the opposite direction.” A dirty blonde guy explains to me.
“Oh no, it was totally my fault, I should have been looking up instead of on my phone. I guess we were both in a rush. But hey, I like your jean jacket. Pretty dope.” I say to him.
“Right back atcha.” he retorts.
*Awkwardly stands next to each other waiting for your luggage to arrive*
“Welp, that's my luggage. Have fun in L.A.” The guy says as he grabs his other luggage and heads towards the exit.
“Thanks, you too crash buddy.” you say back.
*you grab your luggages from the conveyor belt and pull to the side so you’re not in the way of people. You go to open one of your luggages to make sure nothing spilled on the flights/crash over, when you notice that the things in one of the luggages isn’t yours.*
“Shit, I must have accidentally switched luggages with that guy back in Oklahoma.” you say to yourself as you look around to hopefully see if he is still around.
*You close up the luggage, and begin to gather your things and head towards the exit, hoping the guy hasn’t left the airport yet. You get to the exit, head outside and don’t see the guy you bumped into.*
“Damn it!” you say defeated, “How will I ever get my stuff back? What a way to start off my birthday.”
*You get an uber and head towards Arlo’s place*

chapter twenty nine: drink your poison
“your heart beats faster, you cannot breathe; you're feeling nervous inside. you feel the passion, it makes you seethe; you feel the temperature rise!” -”deadly nightshade”, joey belladonna
All summer long, Sam traded in between hanging out with Alex and Joey. That whole tour between both bands proved to be one of the best she had been on before: the one with Stormtroopers wasn't nearly as eventful as those three months. They not only had showers and rooms of their own courtesy of the record label, but so much more was happening between herself and the two of them.
It all hinged on her riding with either band to the next stop. If she rode with Testament, she stayed the night with Alex; if with Anthrax, she hung out with Joey. She dared not swap rooms with either one, either, given Alex was always there by her side and Joey was a night owl now with the booze mostly out of the picture.
Meanwhile, there was the artistry. As far as she knew, Scarlett was a patient lady. But she always made art whilst next to either of those two men and among either of the quintets, with either her journal or the canvases she bought back in Raleigh. Charlie kept those old ink drawings she had made for them on the previous tour at the front of their van so everyone saw them upon the drive by.
She made paintings of all five men from Testament along a string of five days in between gigs in Oklahoma City and Kansas City, in which both bands didn’t play a show. She completed the painting of Louie literally five minutes before they had to go on in Kansas City, but he had insisted on taking it out there onstage with him. Prior to the curtain lifting for them, he picked it up and, careful not to make the still wet acrylic paint that made up his hair bleed onto another part of the canvas, he carried it flat in both hands as if it was a tray of dinner. Sam and Alex watched from the back of the van at his running all the way to the back doorway, to which one of the stagehands held it open for him.
The two of them glanced at one another once he went inside: by the time she stood there off to side, she realized what he had done to the painting and propped it up right behind the drum kit with a camera pointed down at it. Every so often during that gig, the display behind them switched over to that camera and Sam’s painting was showcased for everyone in there to see. Indeed, over the next string of shows there in the Midwest, the five of them had put their paintings right behind their respective places on stage: Chuck kept his portrait as well as the drawing that Marla had made for him for Christmas on a stool right next to him.
Even when they head banged, they made sure those pieces of art never moved out of their places.
All the while, if there was one band whom she missed, it was the Cherry Suicides. As the Midwestern stint came to a close in early September and they headed out to the Pacific Northwest in time for Alex's twenty first birthday, Sam realized she hadn’t heard a word from Zelda or if the four of them were even still together. All she heard about was the new album named for her but that was where it all started and ended.
She never saw them there at any show up to that point.
But if anything, she and Belinda met a whole other myriad of people along the way, especially Overkill and Vio-lence. They all seemed to be on the fringes of music as well: whenever they had a stop somewhere, some other band was playing that night and they were filling out full arenas with their makeup and enormous hair. There Sam and Belinda walked about the streets of Des Moines, Iowa in their ponytails and their dark clothes compared to the literal look of modeling there up on stage. There was one band that the two of them had developed a fancy for, Skid Row, all because they seemed the least dolled up out of all of them: front man Sebastian stood there at the stage with his black jeans and long luxurious blond hair with a powerful voice that could be heard from clear across the vast floor. But it all felt so alien to the both of them, and they sought comfort in their friendships with the thrashers.
There came a point, when the whole circus headed back out to the West Coast and she had difficulty believing that the whole thing was in fact real given the sheer extent of everything, especially once she found out Slayer was on the tour with them that all of it was in fact happening. She and Belinda finally met them after what felt like an eternity: these four men wrapped up in rich black leather and with longer hair than Anthrax and Testament themselves put together.
The bassist Tom was a big chunky Hispanic boy with long inky black hair and a big goofy smile plastered on his face.
“Heard a lot about you girls,” he told them both as part of his greeting to them. “You girls and those other crazy girls from Rhode Island, is it?”
“Yeah, the Cherry Suicides,” Belinda had said.
“You’re the artist, right?” he asked her. “The girl who made the paintings of Testament and the drawings for Charlie?”
“I’m an artist but no—“ Belinda gestured over to her right behind her. “—those were all from my lady here, Sam.”
Sam herself leaned forward and Tom flashed her a wink as a result.
She sat there on the plane on the way out to Seattle and she wondered where else she could go from there. Perhaps around the world for real that time. She had never really been to the Emerald City before, not even when Anthrax toured up there the first time around in the two summers before, especially since they had a curfew and the hotel was right outside of the city as well. Portland, she had been to with them, but never Seattle: only the outskirts and the inner part of Tacoma.
It would be the first time Slayer toured there as well, and Testament had gotten as close as Yakima and Spokane themselves. Seattle seemed like such a strange place to her, all tucked away in that particular corner of Washington. No one went up there unless they were willing to live within the rain and fly a plane. But apparently, there was a whole scene of music going down up there, one that reflected the entire thrash movement to an extent given it was all away from the world and radically different from everything else.
Soundgarden were a mere sliver of it all: Charlie had invited the two girls with him to see another band there, one who were about to release their big debut in the coming months, yet another quintet called Mother Love Bone.
They left the plane, followed by the airport, and the bunch of them stepped out to the cool afternoon: where it was still very much summer everywhere else despite it already being autumn, a fine gray marine layer courtesy of the Puget Sound sank over the entire region and beckoned an early season rain just in time for the evenin. Sam ran her fingers through her hair as she peered up to the gray sky overhead: Alex joined right next to her with his eyes squinted and his lips parted a bit. The color washed out from his face so he resembled to a ghost of sorts, a young spirit ready to walk the streets alongside the Puget Sound. A faint drizzle began to fall over them once a piece of cloud covered the sun overhead.
Slayer had already left for their hotel, but Greg and Eric joined the two of them there at the curb: their black clothes only added to their ghostly appearance. A cool breeze blew their hair back a bit so they resembled to the very wisps of clouds right over them. Sam thought back to the Day of the Dead ceremony back home in New York City, except they had no hoods over their heads; Alex turned to her with his eyes squinted a bit and his skin looking as milky as ever right there.
“It's utterly lovely here,” he said in a low voice as he adjusted the skull ring on his right hand.
“Yeah, even here right at the city's rim, it's just beautiful,” she added.
“I hope it rains even more tomorrow,” he declared with a little raise of his eyebrows.
“Hey, yeah! You can have a little Seattle rainstorm for your birthday, Alex.” She glanced about the deserted parking lot before them. Across the way stood all manner of tiny shops and places that made her think of the casinos back down at Lake Tahoe and in Reno.
“It kind of reminds me of Carson a bit,” she said, “in a sense that there's not really many people here.”
“Not nearly as wet and soggy there, though, I'd assume,” Chuck joined in from behind her.
“Nah, it's not even remotely close to being like this,” Sam assured him as she adjusted the strap on her overnight bag and on the courier bag Alex had given her.
“So who're you staying with tonight?” Greg asked her; and she realized that she still owed him an encounter just to satisfy the bet with Alex himself.
“I'm gonna be with the five dicks from New York,” she replied right as Belinda walked up behind her, and she gaped at her.
“Five dicks from New York, I'm calling that from now on,” Belinda said and Eric laughed out at that.
“And I assume we're the five dicks from California,” he cracked.
“And Bel and I are about to see five dicks from Seattle tonight, too,” Sam added on top of that, which brought a laugh out all of them.
“There's Charlie!” Belinda pointed up the sidewalk.
“Alright—we'll see you guys later—” Sam threw her arms around each of them as well as Louie as he came up right behind them; she held Alex a few seconds longer just to feel his softness a bit more. Even though it was his twenty first the next day, she hoped that he would take it easy on the alcohol when the time came for him. She wanted that softness to stay intact with him.
She then let him go and she followed Belinda up the sidewalk in order to meet up with Charlie and Frank, both of whom took them to their hotel at the base of Capitol Hill. A quick shower for both girls and a change into their clothes and both men knocked on their door once more.
Sam ran a hair brush through her hair as the two of them conversed about the whole scene there in Seattle right behind her.
“So where'd you hear about these guys, Char?” Frank started them off.
“Aurora told me about them,” Charlie replied, “she talked to me while we were in North Carolina about this band out of Seattle that would probably take the whole glam thing to the next level because they're just huge in their sound. Like they have some genuine soul to them. None of that cheese that we've been seeing a lot lately. She told me they're a little bit punk influenced, too—think that might have something to do with it.”
“Cool—what're they called again?”
“Mother Love Bone. She also told me that they're bit of a supergroup around here, too: formed from three other bands—I wrote them down because I wanted to check them out while we're here in Seattle, too.”
Sam turned around right as he took a piece of paper out from his back pocket.
“Green River, Skin Yard, and Malfunkshun—Malfunkshun spelled phonetically.”
“Sounds like they know how to party up here,” Belinda noted.
“That's what Aurora told me,” Charlie said as he tucked the paper back into his pocket. Sam brushed her hair a bit more and then she spritzed a bit of perfume onto her neck.
“I love that smell on you, Sam I am,” Frank told her.
“I got this when we were in Des Moines,” she said, “courtesy of Bel here.”
“It fits your body chemistry like a glove, Sam,” Belinda pointed out. “Like you just climbed right out of the shower.”
“So you girls ready?” Charlie asked them.
“Yessir,” Sam replied as she picked up her purse from the top of the table there and slung it over her shoulder.
They headed out of there right as the fine Puget Sound drizzle fell over their heads. Charlie led them over to the far end of the sidewalk when something across the street caught Sam's eye. She looked over at a guy in the cushions of the bay window of a coffee shop with his sleeve rolled up his arm, past his elbow. Belinda followed her gaze as well.
Frank sniffled and sneezed right then, but the sheer sight of that man there in the window only added to the thought that ran through her mind at the moment.
The shine of the needle. The sticky darkness that resided inside of there. He gritted his teeth at the vile feeling through him.
“Holy shit,” Belinda muttered right into her ear.
It was right then Sam knew that they were in deep from that point onward.
They crossed the street, away from that coffee shop and up the pavement to where the band in question was playing that night.
Frank continued to sniffle and sneeze a bit as they made their way inside of there. The four of them congregated on the edge of the room because everything else before them had a dark veil over it and no way out of there in one piece. Something smelled of burning iron and a chemical but nowhere in there was a fire place.
“There's a lot of drugs around here right now,” Charlie noted as they backed up towards the doorway.
“Yeah, it's making me sneeze like crazy,” Frank said as he rubbed his nose.
“What's that smell?” Belinda asked them as they nestled together in that only safe spot of the room, right near the door and within the stream of fresh air: the one place without a trace of drugs to be found.
“Someone smoking cocaine, I think,” Frank said, “I would know because I tried crack recently. It smells just like someone burning up metal—meth and heroin both smell like that, too.”
Lucky for them, Mother Love Bone took to the stage up front there. Even from clear across the room, Sam could make sight of the five of them: the two guitarists near the edge of the stage. One with long smooth hair down past his shoulders and soft features, and the other with his face hidden out from view. The former made her think of Alex in a subtle fashion, from the depth of his eyes to the shape of his nose: he missed that gray stripe and he lacked Alex's sensual edge as well. The bassist strode up behind them with a big bright purple crushed velvet cap with a lacy ribbon wrapped around the crown there and a plain white sleeveless shirt. She couldn't see the drummer and she didn't have to, either, not with that big bold frontman there at the front, with his long blond hair down to his waist and streams of glitter all around his eyes.
“Hello, Seattle!” he declared into the microphone. “This first song is for all you people! All you people there at the back there!”
Sam and Belinda glanced at one another in surprise.
“We are Mother Love Bone! I am L'Andrew the Love Child and this is quite the cornucopia of delights up here—love rock awaits you, people!”
It hit both girls like a tidal wave, more so than the very stench of the burning cocaine and heroin before them: the vents on the ceiling took the whole cloud on the floor there so they could breathe better. Where every other person before them burned those drugs away into their lungs, the four of them stood there in the doorway and relished in the fresh air that came in from behind them and the music before them.
His voice seared into their minds, much like how Joey's voice stayed with them. Almost immediately, she thought of Joey himself. The whole band reminded her of Joey and Alex, from the powerful, extravagant voice to the rich and strong guitar work. Their songs wormed their way into her mind as well: she knew she would be hearing “This is Shangri La” in her head for days on end from that point onward. The stench of marijuana caught their noses, which in turn made Frank cough more, but it came as a relief to both Sam and Belinda, especially with the rain outside picking up into something one step beyond a drizzle.
“They're fun as hell,” the latter remarked.
“I know, right?” Sam said right into her ear.
He threw his blond hair forth as if it was a genuine mane and then he lifted his head to show off the glitter underneath his right eye.
“Zelda would like them,” Sam told her, to which Belinda nodded her head with her eyes wide.
“Kinda like how she would like Skid Row, too,” she added, and Sam nodded.
Even though it was a tough crowd before them, both girls found themselves dancing a bit at one point. There was that one song at the end “Heartshine”, where Sam pictured herself nestled in between both Joey and Alex. Her love and her friend with benefits. Both of them had her heart.
There was no way she could pick and choose between the two of them because it wouldn't be fair to either of them.
She thought of herself dancing for both men: her hips about in a circle for them both and her breasts high and perfect for them as well. Their hands on her skin to top it all off, too.
The four of them were practically outside in the rain at that point because it was all too much for them to bear in there. But lucky for them, that was the final song and Andy bode the delirious crowd before them a big hearted and jovial good night: at that point, he had put on round white glasses with purple lenses and a big tall dark blue hat upon his head as if he was Mickey Mouse.
“That crowd was just awful,” Charlie said, “but I really liked them, though.”
“I did, too!” Sam added as they began on back down the street towards their hotel. The rain had waned back into a fine drizzle at that point and albeit with the incoming darkness.
“I'm gonna need another shower after that,” Belinda confessed.
“Yeah, that was insane how much drugs were in there,” Charlie agreed with her, and he turned to Frank. “How're you doing right now?”
“A sniveling sneezing mess,” he replied as he rubbed the tip of his nose.
“We'll all clean off and then have dinner,” Charlie declared as they crossed the street yet again. They passed the coffee shop on the other side of the street once more: the man who shot one up his arm was still there in the bay window, except his eyes were closed and even through the dim evening light, Sam could see his pale complexion.
It took them a full hour to shower off, one after the other, and at that point, it was almost nine o'clock in the evening.
“Happy birthday, Alex,” Sam declared as she dried off her hair and let it hang over her shoulders.
“Happy birthday, little man!” Frank proclaimed. “He's finally old enough to drink now.”
For the rest of the evening, she thought about what to do for him that next day, especially since they had to play a show there in Seattle right after Anthrax and Slayer's sets in that respective fashion. Belinda didn't have her leather working tools onhand, either, but that strap that the two of them had crafted for him held up well in the last two years however. Neither Scott nor Dan had any ideas as to what to do for him other than give him a cake after the fact, either: and Joey was out of the question at that point himself.
At one point she caught Anthrax's set and Joey held that white Flying V guitar upon his body once again as if it was a complete extension of him. That time around, he wore a black billed hat with the word “Injun” scrawled on the inside there. She hadn't even seen him all day at that point, either: to see him there made her wonder if he had an ace up his sleeve at the time. At the end of their cover of “Antisocial”, he glanced over at her and showed her and Belinda both that definitive lopsided grin.
They rounded out their short set with an extra large and loud rendition of “Gung Ho!” that ended with a little dual solo from Joey and Dan both, and someone in the audience throwing something at Scott. He ducked down as the jug landed on the stage right next to Charlie's drum kit.
As they left the stage, Joey leaned forward into the microphone.
“Don't be throwin' cider at our man Scott, now,” he taunted the person there and a few people in the crowd clapped at that.
He then padded off of the stage last and greeted Sam with a big open lipped kiss.
“Whoa,” Belinda breathed, and Joey laughed at that but he dared not let it get to him.
“Come with me,” he beckoned both girls, and he led them into the backstage area.
“Eric!” Belinda called out right then; thus she ducked away from them but Joey led Sam onto his dressing room. She left the door slightly ajar but he was quick to bring her to the corner behind the door. Slayer were taking to the stage as he slid his tongue into her mouth and his hands up the curvature of her back.
“I've treated you so poorly,” he said to her in a low enough voice for her to hear over Slayer's intensity.
“No you haven't,” she vowed to him. “You just have a little problem with alcohol is all. I don't want you anywhere near it ever again.”
She took the hat right off of his head and placed upon her own.
“Adorable,” he complimented her as Tom let out a high pitched shriek that made her stop right in her tracks. It made her think of hell on Earth itself.
“Tommy screams like a demon sometimes,” Joey told her, nonchalant.
“If you're the Devil, I'm proud to be a part of it,” she said.
“Nah, Sam, you know us. We're not really into the whole Devil thing—they just seem that way is all.”
“But still. If you're the Devil, I'm proud that to be a part of the whole thing.”
Joey's bottom lip trembled at that.
“Make love to me,” he begged her in a low voice. “Make love to me—please.”
“I'll do something even better for you,” she told him as she put her lips onto his, and then she moved down his neck to his collar bones. Joey held still as she moved down his hot body, all the way down his chest and towards his waist. He shuffled around and pressed his back to the wall: she lifted the bill of the hat from her forehead so she could have a better view of what was there.
She tugged down his shorts and gave him a gentle soft kiss right underneath his waist. She thought of giving him a vampire bite like she did with Alex, but he appeared to enjoy the feel of her lips there more than anything.
“Yeah, that's the spot right there,” he breathed at the soft delicate feeling under his belly button, “—ooh yeah—yeah, right there.”
She tugged his shorts down a bit more. Her tongue on his skin and within her mouth would do him justice.
She could tell he wanted it.
She started out small from the head and then she moved inward to his body, as far as she could stand it. But of course the tip reached the back of her mouth and she coughed and gagged at the feeling. She let go of his firm skin and coughed better.
“You alright?” he asked her.
“Yeah—it’s just the first time I gave a big ass blowjob standing up like this.”
Joey chuckled and he tucked his hands behind his curly head. She looked up at him with her eyebrows raised.
“You look like you’re about ready to sing some lounge stuff,” she told him.
“Lounge—I lounge around and kiss asses all day is what I do best,” he said. She tried it again and that time she got it for real. Joey groaned in his throat as she fondled the smooth curvature of his hips and his thighs with the tips of her fingers. He tipped his head back and gave her yet another soft pleased little groan.
“Yeah, nice li'l deep throat there,” he muttered, “yeah—yeah!” His chest heaved at the feeling and he treated her to soft little whimpers as a result. She was blowing him on Alex's birthday. Something about it gave her a feeling that she could do literally anything from that point onward.
She ran her tongue along the taut skin when she noticed Joey was about to come right there. She held onto him and he gasped at the feeling.
“Fucking hell—you're—you're—you're gonna kill me!” he stammered.
“Not if you can help it, big boy,” she teased him. Joey came right in her hands right there and he fell down onto the seat of his pants, out of breath and dizzy. He fell onto his side and Sam shook her hands about to get it off of her skin.
“Joey?” she called to him. He was out like a light right there.
She bowed out of that room in search of a bathroom just to wash her hands. Right there at the other end of the backstage area, she spotted that door and she ducked in there without a moment's hesitation. She washed her hands with that soft smelling soap and then she ducked out of there once again, only for her to run into Alex and a little brown bottle of Seattle's own in hand.
“Hey!” he greeted her with a mischievous grin.
“Hey!” she retorted back to him.
“Where you going?”
“Back to Joey's dressing room. But it is your birthday after all.”
“Indeed it is!” He took a sip of beer and the crowd erupted into applause for Slayer.
“How was your day?” she asked him once the noise out there died down a bit for them to hear each other.
“Oh, it's been fun! Chuck and Tiffany took me out to lunch at the top of the Space Needle and then we went to this one place right outside of town... did you know there is an actual sound garden up here?”
“Really?”
“Yeah, it's this big metallic sculpture that's fenced off but they took me to it. I don't think it might be open tomorrow because it's Saturday. But—it's definitely another thing we gotta do together when the time comes, Samantha.” He took another sip from the bottle. “Come on, I'll take you back to Joey's room.”
He took another sip before he walked in there with her, and he spotted Joey on the floor right behind the door.
“Is he alright?” Alex asked her.
“Oh, yeah. He just—had one too many is all.”
“Oh, shit.” He tipped the bottle back into his lips.
“By the way, how's it feel to legally drink now?”
“Excellent,” he confessed. “I dunno if I'm gonna do it a lot tonight, though, especially since we're going on after Slayer.”
“How many so far?”
“Just a couple,” he told her with a wave of his hand. He kicked back the brown glass bottle and took a big swig of its contents. He set it down before his body and showed her a little smile. Even though he stood still, she could tell that he had had a few at that point.
“Alex,” Sam said in a low voice: she could see it in his eyes as they drooped a bit.
“Samantha—Samantha? Samantha.” He bowed his head a bit and continued to show her a smile.
“Just exactly how much is 'a couple', Alex?”
“It's enough, I can tell ya that.”
“Alex.”
“Samantha.” He let out the biggest belch right there, one that made her retract back a bit.
“Your ancestors back in the home country felt that one, Alex,” Greg called from right outside the door.
“Oh, no, pardon me—that came right outta—outta my ass.”
She giggled at him and he giggled back at her. She moved in closer to him. Joey was unconscious right there but it didn't stop her from moving in closer to Alex.
“You gonna—you gonna—you gonna—what're you gonna do?”
“Kiss you—”
Her lips grazed up against his; he held the bottle out from his body so she could have more space for him.
“That's good, yeah,” he said in between embraces.
“We might have a cake ready for you, baby,” she whispered to him.
“This is better than any cake, my dear artist,” he retorted back to her as she put her hands on either side of his face. “Hell, yeah—hell yeah! Hell to the yes! Fuck—fucking hell—”
He pulled back and shook his head about a bit. Slayer picked it up once again out there; Sam eyed the pale washed out look of Alex's skin and she thought of that man in the coffee shop on the way to the Mother Love Bone show.
“You're not going to puke again, are you?” she asked him, concerned.
“Nah,” he assured her. “Well, I might but I won't do it on you, though. I promise. I promise, I promise, I promise.”
She giggled at him and the droopy look of his eyes.
“Alex—you're so cute when you're a little bit tipsy,” she told him.
“I'm—I'm—I'm as loose as a pussy when I've got a few in me, lemme tell ya...”
She giggled at him.
“Let's see—you're going on in a bit. There has to be a way to rid of the booze without you barfing it up.”
“I'm probably gonna have to barf anyways,” he told her. “There is some bread over there.”
“Bread and crackers under the vanity mirror,” she said as she made her way over to the mirror in question.
“Bread and circuses,” he said with a hiccup. She handed him a handful of oyster crackers as he took a seat on the small dusty couch on the other side of the room, away from the door and away from Joey's unconscious body.
“I wanna have fun with you,” he confessed with a hiccup.
“We are having fun, though,” she pointed out. “It's your twenty first birthday, Alex. It's all about having fun! You only turn twenty one once in your life after all.”
“That's right, right? You only turn—” He swallowed. “—a certain age one time, don't ya.”
He let out a whistle and looked on at her, dazed.
“You alright?” she asked him.
“Yes! I feel like I'm about ready to fall right to sleep, though.”
He took another sip from the bottle and then another bite of oyster cracker. He practically swallowed it whole.
“Well, chew it, Alex,” Sam was scorn.
“Just melts in your mouth,” he pointed out with his mouth full, and he took another couple for himself.
“Keep eating it, though. It should absorb it up inside you. You're gonna be on soon.”
“By the way, we're gonna make another album for you, my darling artist,” he said in a broken voice once he swallowed it down.
“We will, too,” Joey blurted out right then, and Sam and Alex looked over at him. He was still unconscious but by some sheer magic, he had said that out loud without a shred of irony. The two of them looked at one another: Alex rubbed the exhaustion out of his eyes.
“What's Testament's new one going to be called?” Sam asked him.
“'Souls of Black',” he said in a hushed voice. “At least, that's what Eric told me. He wants us to play on Clash of the Titans. Like if we get it done in time, we can get it there.”
“And when's that supposed to be?”
“Uh—next summer, I think? I think? I dunno. I can't really think about things too much.”
“Well, you boys better get on it soon,” Sam encouraged him.
“Yeah, that's the plan anyways,” he told her. “Once we're done here, we mosey on into the studio and run like hell. I think it's gonna be formidable, Samantha. We're as tight as we've ever been.”
“Tight like a tight pussy?” she joked to him.
“Tight like a tight pussy, yes!”
He popped more crackers into his mouth.
“You ought to record something after you've had a couple,” she suggested, “you know just to see what you can make out of it. It'd be true psychedelic metal right there.”
“I don't really know if I can, though,” he confessed with a soft chuckle. “I don't know if that's not really something you can do when you're off your rocker and three sheets to the wind.”
“What about three sheets to my wind?” she asked him as she crawled closer to him and hovered right above his body.
“Oh, my, Samantha—”
“Was that 'oh, my' said in amazement or were you calling me yours?”
“You're good,” he remarked with those eyebrows raised up again. She put her lips onto his, and she tasted the salt from the crackers as well as the hops from the beer.
“I'm gonna need a drink after this,” he confessed to her.
“You are drinking, though,” she insisted.
“No, drink of water,” he corrected.
“I see. Well, drink your poison, baby.”
“Drink your poison and get nasty wit' it,” he cracked and she giggled some more.
“Alex!” Eric's voice floated from outside of the room.
“Oh, shit, I gotta move!” he said as he stood to his feet and rubbed his eyes. “Thank you for the bread, too—that actually helped me out a bit.”
Sam stood up herself but then Alex stopped her right in her tracks.
“Samantha?”
“Yes?” She turned her attention back to him as he lounged there in the doorway with a lax look to his deep eyes.
“Tonight—go to bed and dream of a beautiful gray stripe,” he said as he ran his index finger over that little tuft on the crown of his head.
“I always do, baby,” she assured him with a wink. “Go give 'em hell.”
He ducked out of there and back to his band: he still had his balance right then. She hoped that the bread really helped out and he would keep it together that evening as she made her way to the spot behind the door. She adjusted the bill of the hat and stooped down for him.
“C'mere, Joey—c'mere, baby—” She scooped him off of the floor and lifted up his head for a better look into his face. She set a hand on his forehead and pushed the hair out from his eyes. He opened them a bit and showed her a little dimpled grin.
“There he is,” she said with a smile herself; with her free hand, she took off her hat and set it upon the dark curly crown of his head. “There's my little Injun boy.”

*My POV*

After meeting back with my people, I told them to gather around because I had found a new home for all of us.  A place where no humans could try and contact us, a place that was a sanctuary and could fit all of us.
We soon came into a wet forest.  The clouds were dark as rain fell from the sky.  All the chimeras looked around confused and that’s when Dean spoke up.
“Uhh (y/n), where are we?” I walked along the familiar forest trail just a few feet ahead of them and knelt down before the same trail my mother and I ran when we were escaping the Hydra soldiers over 10 years ago.
“This Dean Winchester was once the home of the Aniwaya tribe. Led by the great chief at the time, Chief Waya. This cowboy—was my home.”
“So….this is where you lived?” asked Mitchell.
“Yes. My parents came here to escape all the pressures of the city life. Chief Waya welcomed my parents with open arms and allowed them to become a part of the tribe.” I walked on ahead and they all followed behind me.
None of them spoke a word as we continued to walk along the woods, deeper and deeper until we reached a tall rock formation that almost resembled a mountain but unlike the mountains here, there wasn’t any trees or falling rivers and creeks.
This spot was once home to the wolf pack that once lived here.  They called this mountain rock their den and this is where my parents would take photos of the wolf pack here in their natural habitat, and the place where Little Grey and I once played together.
“After Hydra attacked my home; the government hardly did anything to it.  Since there were hardly any Cherokee Indians left, they didn’t surrender it to those who were still struggling to find homes. So it was basically open ground for real-estate developers or business owners. Then of course when Thanos came along Mother nature took back what was hers to some of the buildings that are already built here.”
I then took out the deed to my homeland and there I saw Tony’s signature at the bottom.
“Now it’s back where it belongs.” I held the deed close to my heart and then walked up towards the old wolf’s den.
As the rain continued to pour, I hopped up from the rock formations that hung along the rock mountain before finally reaching the top ramp-like structure in my wolf form.  I walked up towards the point of it, feeling the rain drip down along my black and grey fur.
As I stood at the end of the ramp, I closed my eyes and felt the earth all around me, connecting back to my birthplace after so long.  All around me I felt the earth, the water, the trees, everything that my grandfather once taught me.
‘You choose who you are, depending on the wolf you feed.’ I heard his voice ring in my head.
‘You’re a good She-wolf (y/n).’ Nat’s voice said after that.
‘One day you can be a great leader kid. Stick to your guns, and you’ll go far.’ Tony’s voice said.  I opened my eyes as they flashed and I let out a mighty howl.
Tumblr media
Telling all far and wide that this land has been taken back by the last of the Aniwaya tribe, and it would forever be home to the Aniwaya tribe, the new Aniwaya tribe.  The Chimeras.
As the weeks went by; thanks to my pack we cleared out the homes that once stood and used the left over rubble as a wall to let all know no land could be developed from here, because here lies sacred grounds.
To those who wanted man-made homes, we used whatever rubble was useable along with Mother nature herself to build new homes. But we kept the homes far from where my village once stood and onward towards the old wolf pack den.
As the sun was now shining upon the land, all the chimeras were gathered at the old wolf’s den all in their animal forms to praise a new settling.  Standing along one of the rock formations that stuck out were Sam and his wife Gen in their lion forms.
Gen nuzzled her husband and he nuzzled her back while playfully whacking against his head, Dean and Danneel who were in their bear forms playfully huffed at them.  Soon flying in onto the rock formation above Dean and Dani, was Maria and delicately in her talons she held her boyfriend Mitchell who was in his dog form.
Soon coming out of the den and walking along the ramp were myself and Rauri in our wolf forms.  As we walked towards the end of the ramp to look down at our pack, Rauri and I looked to each other and he lovingly licked the top of my head.
Our people cheering below as they bowed before us. We turned to our betas and the six of them bowed respectfully and Rauri and I turned to each other once more.
Then together, the two of us howled as one. Signaling that we were now home.
*3rd Person POV*
Play Video
Two months after the reunion, the funeral and life changing events to some of the Avengers and every superhero involved with the defeat of Thanos, there was grater news to be hold.
As the sun rose over the Cherokee reserve in Oklahoma, the chimeras who were out in the fields or in their homes took one sniff of the air and knew something was different.  Nothing bad but—pure.
The Winchester family all peaked out from their hand-made home.  Caesar and some of the chimp guards came down from the trees and could feel that something was different in the air.
Mitchell and Maria stood on top of the hill as the sun rose higher into the sky.  The couple looked at each other before Maria turned into her mighty eagle form and Mitchell mounted onto her back and she took off flying.
Soon all the bird chimeras flew into the sky calling out to all high and low that something had happened, something had arrived.
The deer and wild mustang clan were all galloping and skipping onward cause they too noticed that something wonderful had just come to their new home.
“You—you don’t think?” asked Dean.
“I think so.” Answered his brother.
“Well stop standing there gawking you two, let’s go!” Sam’s wife Gen stated and soon the four of them took off running in their chosen animal forms to catch up with the rest of the chimera pack.
Elephants, monkeys and apes, dogs, big cats and every other animal in-between came from far and wide until they all gathered to the old wolf’s den.  And in his large black wolf form was Rauri.
Maria and Mitchell came flying overhead of all the animals before she landed right before Rauri on top of the rock. Mitchell dismounted her and he phased into his dog form.  The two spoke not a word to their Alpha but just bowed before him.  Rauri’s amber yellow eyes softened and he bowed graciously back.
Of course the animals weren’t the only ones informed of this day.  Soon appearing through various parts of the chimera crowd were yellow portals.  The first one to step out came from the New York Sanctum and walking through it was Morowa.
From the other portals; Wanda had come out from what appeared to be back in Edinburgh.  Clint from his farm.  T’Challa and his sister along with Okoye from Wakanda. Sam and Bucky from their current residence in Brooklynn.
Pepper, Happy, Rhodes and little Morgan from the lake house.  Valkyrie, Bruce came from New Asgard home in Norway.  Even Peter Parker got an invitation to come along should he have free time, to which he did.
Rauri, seeing the family in law coming to see their old member once again warmed his heart and made his tail wag.  Morowa then created a circular lift for those who didn’t have a way to climb up onto the rock formation.
So Clint, Sam, Bucky, Shuri, Pepper and Morgan went up on the lift while the rest used their enhanced powers or strength to jump from rock to rock or just simply fly up to the top to meet with Rauri.
When all of them stood before the mighty Alpha male of the chimeras, Morowa was the first to approach him and the two stared into each other before she stroked through the sides of his face and touched foreheads with him.  Rauri submitted to her touch by having his ears bent backwards and his tail wagging softly.
He then turned toward Maria and Mitchell who were standing before a den that was covered with two door sheets.  He walked towards them and nodded signaling them to show everyone what they had came to see.
Maria and Mitchell took each flap of the sheets and pulled them back like a curtain to reveal (y/n) in her wolf form, but she wasn’t alone.
There sleeping and softly whimpering about by her stomach were two wolf pups that were the size of full grown cats.  A boy and a girl.
Everyone couldn’t help but awe at the adorable sight of the two little puppies that sat before them.  (Y/n)’s tail wagged at seeing her friends and family there. Morowa was the first to step forward and kneel down beside her daughter.
She stroked her head before turning her attention to the pups.  She then revealed her old Cherokee pouch that she had kept and pulled out a couple of things.
One was an old spiritual rattle, she took it out and gave it a gentle shake above the two pups who just kept whimpering and squirming around trying to figure out where they were.
This method was used to bless the newborn of the tribe with good fortune and long eternal life.
Once that was done, she took out some old paintings as well as a water bottle.  She poured the water into the tube of paint and mixed it up with her fingers making the paint go from dry to wet.
Then just like their mother was blessed with the mark of her tribe on her birthday, Morowa gave her children the very same mark as she spoke in ancient Cherokee.
“Bless these two new lives. Now and forever.” She then took some of the dirt from the cave and gently sprinkled it on top of the puppies heads.  They both sneezed which caused everyone to gush and awe while Rauri and (y/n) nuzzled each other lovingly.
Morowa then turned to T’Challa for assistance. He nodded and proceeded towards the two alpha wolves.  Waiting for their acceptance, the two wolves nodded and T’Challa took the male wolf pup while Morowa grabbed the female and the two Wakandans walked towards the edge of the mountain cliff.
From below, all the chimeras waited anxiously to get their first look at the new pups.  T’Challa and Morowa stood side by side of each other along the edge of the cliff, before finally raising the two pups high over their head.
When the pups were finally lifted in the air, the chimeras all roared with applause in their animal forms.  The elephants trumpeted in celebration, the monkeys and apes all jumped and cried out excitedly either flipping around or beating on their chests.
The stallions and deer let out a cry as they stamped their hooves and reared up onto their back legs.  While the big cats and bears roared in rejoice.
From high above, the two small pups gently started opening their eyes thanks to the enhancement from both their parents and they looked down to the crowd of animals cheering for them.
Almost as if by magic or some force beyond mortal understanding, the clouds broke apart allowing the sun’s rays to shin down upon the two pups giving them a spotlight so that all could see them from far and wide.
At that point all the chimeras bowed before the next generation of Alphas.  While sitting on the sidelines with the parents, the Avengers all watched with awe as they got to experience this wonderful event.
The birth of a new generation growing up in a world that was less threatening than before.
*My POV*
After the ceremony; now that I was in my human form holding my daughter in my arms.
“So…..do we have any names for them?” asked Bruce. I looked to Rauri and he softly smiled.
“Well this wasn’t a contest nor argument. After everything that’s happened there were two names that I felt were best for my two kids. For my first born daughter; I’d like you all to meet Natasha Romanoff Williams.”
“And for our son here, Anthony Steven Williams.” At hearing those two names, everyone was overwhelmed with emotion. Clint was the first one to walk up to me and as he stroked my daughter’s auburn fur he said.
“She would’ve loved it. And finally stop complaining of Nathaniel being a traitor.” Everyone softly chuckled and that’s when Pepper spoke up.
“And Tony’s ego would’ve probably gotten bigger after having a kid named after him.”
“Not to mention Steve.” Stated Sam.
“Alright, I propose a toast. To the new parents. Welcome to the joys of parenthood. And may both your children grow up to be happy and healthy. To the Williams.” My mom proclaimed as she raised her glass of wine in the air.
“To the Williams.” Everyone choired out. Rauri stood by my side and he leaned down at kissed my forehead.
In the years to come; my children grew up to be just that.  Happy and healthy.  By the time they were 2 years old, we trained them on how to turn into their human forms, and it turns out that in human form my son definitely takes after his father from his raven black curly hair, to the tip of his nose, even his father’s eye color.
While Nat resembled me to a T.  From my hair, eyes, even facial structure was practically identical.
As they grew older, I told them my story and every night when we would go out and look up at the stars.  I would tell them the story of the two bravest Avengers I had ever known and of how I had given them their names because of their bravery and sacrifice to save the entire universe.
I hope that one day, my children can learn to be just as brave, selfless and courageous as Tony and Nat were.  I also kept my promise, I fully retired from the hero work to help raise my family, but I did keep one promise; should there ever be a time when I am truly needed, if whomever is left on the team should need the extra Ace on their side.
You can sure as hell bet that when you turn towards the moon or the rising sun, and hear the sounds of a wolf’s howl echoing in the distance.
It’s Mother Wolf Raksha coming to protect her pack.

(A while ago, @misscrazyfangirl321 prompted me to create this. Recently, I got a brainwave to write a little more of it and I’m just going for it after a kinda cruddy evening. Takes place in an alternate Season 2 where Mick never rejoined the team, Ray died at the Oculus, and Leonard lived)
Getting kidnapped by someone who looked like they walked right off a movie set for some futuristic sci-fi flick was unexpected. Of all the days she could have forgotten her pepper spray, it had to be on that day. Not that it would have helped with the helmet her kidnapper wore. She didn’t even stand a chance before he knocked her out.
When she woke up on the spaceship, handcuffed to a railing, Lily thought of all the stories she had read on the news about women who went missing. Fear that she would become some unsolved true crime story struck her soon after. If she was going to die, then she wanted to know why. She asked her kidnapper, and he told her.
At first, she didn’t want to believe that she wasn’t supposed to exist. Then Lily remembered the last time she’d seen her father, back when the aliens had invaded Central City. He had treated her as if he had never seen her before, and it had hurt. It made sense that he came from a timeline where she didn’t exist, encountered his past self, and said something that lead to her happening. He had been a huge part of her life, but she was just a stranger to him.
Offering to join forces with her kidnapper, this Chronos, was initially a play at survival. If she stayed out of time and worked to save history, then it was more time to live and plan out her next moves. Maybe she could even guarantee her existence if she did enough. But there was a bitterness inside her when she thought about how she was an aberration, a product of history not going the way it was supposed to.
If helping Chronos brought her face to face with her father, she was going to take the chance to ask him some questions about what had happened that brought her into existence.
~
Striking the deal with Lily Stein to let her live and work with him to stop the Legends from the mess they were making of history turned out to be one of his better ideas. There was plenty of Haircut in her with her determination and intellect, not to mention a relatively sunny attitude. She picked up information about dealing with the timeline quickly and made herself useful in how to rectify damage that had been dealt to a time period. Chronos figured she was probably only working with him to survive, but keeping her alive was a means to an end.
But he didn’t mind having her on the ship with him. He was usually a lone wolf, yet he got along with her. Somehow, Lily (or Junior, as he’d nicknamed her) found a chink in his armor to befriend him. More of Mick Rory started to come back in to mix with the bounty hunter persona of Chronos. The strange part about it was he didn’t mind it happening at all.
When his ship landed in the same time period as the Legends, he ordered Junior to stay put and monitor from inside the ship. It ended up being a good move when he encountered the Legends. A fight broke out, ending with Snart and one of the new members, Amaya Jiwe, kicking his ass. As the Legends dragged him back to the Waverider, he spat a remark about how it was their fault for creating the aberrations in time, that they lacked precision in their correction. To his surprise, Stein was the one who responded.
“We had to destroy the Time Masters, even if they were keeping these aberrations in check. But we intend to fix them.”
The professor didn’t even know his own daughter was listening through the damn comm in his helmet. Hell, even Mick didn’t think she was listening until he heard it click off. The kid raised an eyebrow at the professor once he said that, but his rectification of ‘almost all of them’ was missed when Junior stopped listening. Moments later, his ship flew overhead and weapons were fired at the Legends. In the chaos, Mick made his escape to his ship and took over the controls to pilot them somewhere they could regroup.
After that aberration is corrected, a change occurred in Junior. She became colder and sharper. Her positive attitude diminished nearly completely. Eventually, she wanted to be be trained to fight, claiming she was sick and tired of being stuck on the ship monitoring and planning. Mick suspected she was starting to want to seek some kind of revenge on the Legends. Still, he started to teach her what he knew. If she got good enough, then she could have his back when they inevitably fought the Legends again.
~
“We’ve got bad news.”
“How bad?” Sara sighed as she and Nate wandered past another shack on the plains. The latest aberration was located in Oklahoma 1934. Dust storms were supposed to be ravaging the Great Plains, except history now said they didn’t. Something had affected the soil so it didn’t become...well, dust. They figured it was something from the future, like the virus that had caused a zombie outbreak in the Civil War.
Things had gotten worse in the past few months. Not only did they have Mick coming after them constantly for revenge, but a new group of enemies had showed up. When the Legends did find Rip in the sixties, this new Legion of Doom had snatched him away and brainwashed him to work with them. To top it all off, Stein’s suggestion of having his daughter help connect the amulet with the Waverider was derailed when they returned to 2017 to learn she had gone missing.
“Not only did Gideon pick up speedster activity,” Leonard’s voice floated through the comms. “But she also picked up another timeship close by. So Mick’s here to try and fix this problem now too, not to mention try and kill us again.”
“Fantastic,” Sara groaned, pinching her nose.
“Hey, we might not run into them?” Nate offered as the brush on their path became a little greener.
“Don’t say that,” Sara muttered. Not only would he jinx them, but it reminded her too much of something Ray might say. It had been months since he’d given his life at the Oculus. Nate was similar to their departed teammate in a lot of ways, and Sara could only imagine how well those two would have gotten along.
“We just need to find what’s causing this and get out of here before we cross one of them again,” Jax said.
“Yeah,” Sara stopped as she saw the grass actually looking greener on the other side of a fence. “We might have found it.”
She got herself over the fence, following the green towards a small shack. Nate followed her, steeling up. Pushing the door open, they were met with a strange silvery contraption with three prongs buried in the ground. A tube above the prongs glowed leaf green.
Half the work was done. “Len, we found-”
A clang rung out behind her. Whirling around, she saw Nate’s hand in front of her face. Beyond that, there was a familiar figure in a suit of armor, rifle in hand. Sara inhaled quickly, realizing how close she was to getting shot in the head. But she was still alive and was going to fight her way out of here if she had to.
“Get that out of the ground,” she ordered Nate. “Len, Amaya, get the Waverider here now. Stein, Jax, I need back-up.”
Sara flicked out her batons and formed her staff. She managed to keep Mick distracted for long enough until the Waverider hovered above them. Firestorm came out first, followed by Leonard and Amaya. The latter went over to help Nate while Leonard took a place beside Sara and Firestorm to hold off Chronos until Nate and Amaya could get the thing out of the ground. For a while, it looked like they could pull it off.
“Give it up, Mick!” Leonard shouted as he froze Mick’s rifle. “There’s something worse out there that is an actual threat to reality!”
“I know about the Legion,” Mick’s voice rumbled from inside. “We intend to make sure they get what’s coming to them next.”
Jax frowned. “We?”
“I brought a friend.”
Behind them, Nate shouted out. Those fighting Mick turned to see him and Amaya lying on the ground. Between them was a figure picking up the pronged device. They were dressed in armor like Chronos, but the helmet and design were different. The figure tilted their head at them all for a moment.
“Hello, Legends,” a modulated female voice regarded. “I’ve been waiting quite a while to meet you.”
She threw something into the air. Sara didn’t see what it was before a blinding flash exploded from it. A second later, she felt her consciousness slip away.
~
With the Legends all unconscious, Mick summoned his timeship and took hold of the device they’d found. He’d seen it in the Vanishing Point before. Apparently it was used in the 22nd century to cultivate sustainable life in areas plagued by drought. Now that they had it, the plains would deteriorate to the state they should be in, the dust storms could ravage the people trying to make a living there, and Steinbeck would write the Grapes of Wrath.
“You did good back there,” he muttered as he piloted the ship into the temporal zone while his companion undid her mask.
“I did say I would help you,” Lily reminded him, brushing some dust from the lenses of the mask. “So, this Legion of Doom...do we have a plan?”

So much elegance overhead! That, along with the flowing open floor plan and Fleetwood doors, which allow the outside in, and vice versa, is reminiscent of a swanky island retreat.
And yet, this tropical oasis is located right in L.A.’s historic and upscale neighborhood beloved by celebrities, including Angelina Jolie, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepherd, Jon Hamm, and Colin Farrell.

“You are immediately struck by floor-to-ceiling walls of glass that open seamlessly to your completely private tropical resortlike yard, sparkling pool, and striking guesthouse,” says Michael Orland, who is co-listing the property with Dorothy Carter, both of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. “A seamless blend of midcentury esthetics and tropical modernism in this new build encompasses an indoor-outdoor screening room, private office, and primary bedroom on its own floor, along with a viewing deck perfect for entertaining.”
