You ever wonder if Devon just waits for the times when Michael doesn’t show up or check in just so he can sigh in disappointment and call KITT to see what possibly deadly side quest he got himself into this time? I’m sure he’s just waiting at this point for it to happen. It’s inevitable.

I feel like no one talks about nancy’s pain from losing barb enough. I see so many people blame nancy for barb’s death — which, I get it, she wasn’t being a good friend and she left barb alone. but how on earth was she supposed to know a creature from an alternate dimension was gonna take her best friend??? like be for real — she thought barb was going to drive herself home and go to bed safe and sound.

when nancy actually finds out barb’s dead, when el says that she’s gone when she’s looking for will in the pool, she doesn’t get to properly grieve. she hides her emotions for the most part because she’s with joyce and jonathan and all of will’s best friends. she knows will is the true reason they’re there, and so she holds back. no one even says sorry, or asks if she’s okay.

her pain is so glossed over. steve glosses over it, even jonathan does for the most part. you could argue that jonathan going back to his house with her to bait the demogorgon was an act of solidarity, at least, but regardless. no one seems to give a shit that barb died, except nancy.

I’m sooooo tired of seeing nancy slander. she’s a kid that loses her best friend, and she deserved a better support system. she doesn’t deserve to carry guilt about it, there is no way she could’ve predicted what would happen to barb.
