love narratives where the love was there but it didn't change the outcome. however, it was still important the love was there. Romantic, Platonic, Familial, they all carry the same idea here

the love was there, even when they found themselves loveless. the love was there even when they were self destructing. the love was there when they were hurting and in turn hurting others because they don't know what to do anymore. the devotion always stayed, the care never went away even as the receiver was making horrible choices.

it's the type of love where, even if you know you can't stop what's happening, you at least want them to know they're not alone and they are still loved.
