Baribus staggered back, blinded by the Wheel of Misfortune. But where once light, silent boots fell, heavy thumps of cabal feet now fall. Shock, alarm, and no small amount of fury filled the now gigantic form of Baribus, his armor quite changed from his usual Hunter’s garb.

Short Bio: Baribus lived during the Dark Ages as a sailor and fisherman. He worked hard and diligently in a community preserved by the efforts of a Golden-Age conservationist. He lived a decent life until a plague struck and killed his wife and son. While trying to escape the plague with survivors, he discovered an awoken child and adopted him as his own. Inevitably, the boy fell ill of the plague and spurred Baribus into following the only path he knew to save him—the legend of the wish granting Dragons.

Bringing his boy to the rumored den of an Ahamkara. He wished desperately for his son to be saved and promised his service to the dragon if it would agree. Ashven, the dragon, agreed and revived the child as the boy died, before taking them both back to its hidden valley in a protected pocket dimension of its own design.

Another wish was then made for added abilities for Baribus in his fulfilling of his duty. Thus the dragon augmented his eyes and reflexes, making him a proficient hunter and an even more lethal bodyguard. However, not even Ahamkara augmentations could stop the Guardians and he was slain in the defense of his dragon.

A hundred years later, he was revived by his Ghost, Stoat, who managed to trick some grave robbers into digging up some graves for him to scan. Thus he found Baribus and got his name from what was left of his degraded tombstone.

Personality:

Baribus: Stern, reserved, calculating, precise, gentlemanly, proper, calm, protective, honorable, duty bound, strong emotions, loves his family, icy temper—WILL go on a Forsaken revenge kick if fam is harmed, especially Stoat. Baribus keeps stoat where his heart should be and will exterminate threats.

Stoat: Supportive, excited, affectionate, flighty but enduring, comforting, encouraging, high emotional intelligence but never the holder of the brain cell, fun, goober,
