This is gonna be short just because I need to get this down on metaphorical paper

After ending up in the digital world of Vinyl City, rock artists Nikolai and Isaac (stage names: Carbine and Mix) attempt to help solve the city’s power problem. Instead of being accepted, the EDM-obsessed enterprise of NSR, lead by Sun and her artists, kick them to the curb and outlaw rock. Now on a quest to “bring rock back to Vinyl City”, newly formed band “Gunshot Junction” must fight the artists and hijack their concerts to make names for themselves…even if many of those artists are their friends.

WILD WEST AU

Set out west in the 1880s, Yelena Belova is a roaming outlaw. She rose to notoriety as THE WHITE WIDOW. A killer of countless men, she once rode with the Widow Gang until she decided to break off and lead her own life. She spends her days roaming from town to town, picking up the occasional job before heading out with a full purse. The life she leads has made many enemies. The law is the most irritating enemy that constantly nips at her heels. She has also crossed paths with other gangs and put down plenty of other outlaws who thought they could kill her. She intends to live free until her dying breath. She does not know where this long road will take her, but she knows there will be plenty of saloons along the way.

Plot Hooks:

Jobs. If the money is good, Yelena will kill whoever has a target on their back. She's very good at it. She will also rob and steal whatever needs stealing. She expects payment upon delivery. Withhold money owed to her at your own peril.

Enemies. Yelena has many. The law. Other outlaws. These rps don't have to always end in a standoff. But Yelena will keep her gun close just in case.

Family. Yelena was born in Russia and was brought over to America as a young child. Both her parents and older sister are still alive. She writes to them often but hasn't seen her family in some time. It would mess up her plans a bit if one of them decided to show up.

Friends. Yelena has seen so many friends die. It has become a natural part of her life. Keeping to the road makes managing these friendships easier. She does not stay long enough for anything deeper than a beneficial alliance. It would make things difficult if that changed.

Saloon. Drinks. A good conversation. More drinks. Maybe a game or two. Great scenery. Saloons are fun.

Royal AU AU

An AU of @fratboykate AU *lol*

….but make it Robin Hood. (A bit heavy on the exposition, and not as sharp as in my head, but you have no idea how long it’s been since I writ the fic!)

It was lonely at court.

Kate straddled the peaked roof of the stables, long legs dangling either side and heavy boots scuffing the slates. She watched the chickens in the yard below as they postured and posed and pecked at each other for seniority over this cobblestone or a place next to that hen.

If Clint were here he’d make some bitter-smart comment about how it was like Yelena’s court writ small, and that there was no more brain in a noble than in a chicken skull. That was the sort of thing Clint noticed. The sort of thing he could make sound like it meant something.

Except he wasn’t. Here. And they were just chickens. Just doing chicken things.

Kate had Yelena, of course. At night, under sheets that felt like…like air and water had coupled and made babies…and yet somehow Yel’s skin was sweeter and softer. At dinner when Yelena would pick desulatorily at her food while she soothed this noble or cut that Earl back to size.

That was still strange to Kate, to be in a place where ego and enemies mattered more than food in your gut. There was always time to throw a punch and black an eye after the pie was eaten in Kate’s opinion.

Most of the time though Yelena had a country to run. She had to read letters and write more back, send ships along a coast that Kate had never seen and only sort of known existed to make a point to their neighbors about what happened if Yelena lost interest in being peaceful.

That was fine.

Sometimes Yelena fretted like she thought Kate didn’t understand why they couldn’t spend all the light and dark hours wrapped up in each other. Kate did wish they could, but she knew why they couldn’t. A farmer who didn’t mind his fields ended up with blighted corn, a shepherd who left his flock ended up with mutton bones. Ruling wasn’t that much different, it just took more words and more pigeons.

It was still lonely. The nobles thought that Kate was low-born trash with a nice set of tits to turn Yelena’s head. They’d use Kate happily enough, but they didn’t even bother to wait till her back was turned to smirk at each other.

The other low-born trash—the servants, the traders, the chicken egg boy—judged her where she’d gone rather than from where she’d come. To them she ate with the court and slept with the court, that made her noble enough they buttoned their lips when they saw her and held their tongues.

Clint could have probably won them over. He’d have made a joke and poured a beer, slapped men’s backs and told the women about his wife back home. It would all be honest, he liked a beer and he loved his wife, but it would still work. 

Except Clint wasn’t here. 

Down in the yard the chickens suddenly scattered, their little borders and alliances forgotten as they scurried for the walls. Kate picked up her bow from where it rested over her thighs.

He’d taken his wife and Kate’s nephews with him when he left. A deal turned betrayal with the king he’d loved and been sold out by. The last Kate had heard he’d gone into the mountains. No-one would find him there. Not even Kate. Clint had taught her how to shoot and how to hunt, but she’d never run with the outlaws or seen the secret routes they’d taken to escape Prince Laufrey.

The murderer.

The monster.

Yelena’s uncle, who she talked about with dislike but nothing more. No respect. No love. No fear either, though. Another strange thing, but not as strange as fighting before eating.

The hawk stooped out of the sun, wings back and feathers tight to its body. Kate nocked the arrow, raised the bow, and pulled. She drew it back smoothly until her fingers touched her nose, took a beat, and then finished the pull. Her knuckles grazed her jawbone as she put her mind still and saw the rules in her mind.

The speed.

The wind.

The angles.

She’d never learned to read or write, but she could read how this would happen as if she was a seer instead of an archer. So she knew she’d make the shot when she released the arrow. There was no need to watch.

Kate swung her leg over the peak of the roof and slide down the tiles. She dropped down in the yard with the easy grace of someone who’d once wanted to impress her uncle more than she’d wanted to take her next breath.

The chicken egg boy gawped as the hawk dropped out of the sky. An arrow skewered it neatly through the chest. It handed in the middle of the yard, already limp and dead.

“Thanks, milady,” the egg boy said, with a jerky bob of his head.

“Kate.”

“Milady,” the boy agreed.

Kate supposed she’d take the win. She sauntered over the yard and bent down to pick up the dead hawk. Clint wasn’t here and Kate didn’t really know what he’d do if he was. The Outlaw Prince’s own sister in bed with the family that had starved their people and then betrayed. 

Yelena wasn’t like that. All Kate had to do was look in Yelena’s eyes to know that, she could never feel like this about someone with ill intent. Nothing so sweet and pure (sometimes, if she didn’t think about breasts and soft white—how was it so white? Like snow or milk straight from the udder—skin.) could be birthed by a monster.

But Clint might not believe that.

So he wasn’t here and Kate was. And she’d win people over on her own, in her own way. The egg boy today, for protecting his chickens, and the cook tomorrow for pleasing her son. One at a time, no reason to rush.

Kate wasn’t going anywhere, not as long as Yelena wanted her here.

I'm ASHAMED of myself that i didn't really noticed Florence Pugh before I watched Black Widow. I instantly fell in love with her. Not just with Yelena (who is the love of my life) but with the acting. She's just incredible. Then I watched some Interviews and stumbled across the cooking videos...👀 WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT that I would spend so much time, watching someone cooking?!
