There was news that Phoebe Dynevor was going to be Scarlett in the live action series for Scarlett and Browne, undergoing planning or sumn abt a billion years ago? Or something abt her being the writer for the show idk

what I know is that if it's true, then the Bridgerton sisters are in the Stroudverse and I find that cute.

I'm hard pressed looking for pictures of Phoebe with red, not styled hair and not smiling and so that's the only picture I have for Phoebe!Scarlett. Now I feel like reading all the Stroud books again, dang. All of em, including the Bartimaeus sequence :"D

It was dangerous, being married to the infamous James “Wild Bucky” Barnes but even more so when I started my affair. I hadn’t planned on straying from my marriage but James…he is not a kind person.

He’d be gone for weeks on end, leaving me alone in the small cabin he’d built just before we married. I’d be left to tend to the animals and the land by myself but of course, it was never right when he did come home. There was always something wrong with the way I planted our crops or the way I’d moved the cows. It was always something but the sweet man who’d stumbled onto our doorstep never saw anything wrong.

Steve had all but collapsed on the front steps one night after James had left. I didn’t care to ask what had happened to him, I was just happy to have someone around to keep me company and to care for. He truly only needed to stay with me for a few days, just enough time to get back on his feet after having the shit beat out of him. Those few days turned into a week and then the week turned into a month and his stay kept extending the longer James stayed away.

It had been the longest James had been gone but I had Steve. Sweet, loving and kind Steve to keep me and my cold bed company.

That was until James did come home and found us bathing in the stream near by. He’d dragged my lover out of the water by his hair and beat him as his men held me back. I cried and screamed for him to stop but he refused to listen, to even acknowledge me.

When he was finished and both of them were covered in blood, James stalked towards me with a disgusted look on his face. His men dropped me and James crouched down in front of me as he said, “Now why’d you have to go and do that, my darling?”

I stared back and spat at him. He chuckled as he wiped a hand down his face.

“I wish I was a trust man, my darling, but we both know a trusting man is weak,” he said more to himself than me as he stood. Still not done with his torture, James pulled a rope from his saddle and loped it around Steve’s neck.

“James,” I started but one look from him shut me up.

Going back to his task, he yankee on the knot he’d tied to his saddle and mounted his horse. He looked down at me and smiled.

“Run, darling.”

And I did.

I ran.

This game is 5 years old and still beautiful, Arthur was such a good main character that he raised my standard for them and recently only Zagreus from Hades managed to interest me as much as him, I still haven't found a good way to take screenshots of Hades because of the perspective. But regardless I go back to play RDR2 and Hades again at least once a year.
