BBC The One Show Anon - take 2
I was finally given the right link for that interview (merci à toi, toujours ❤️❤️), and so I can answer you now with a short transcript:
youtube
Their short moment starts at the 06:55 mark and well, it is now clear *** has no qualms in pushing hard the 'couple/chemistry' motif, for shameless promo purposes - it's all about the 💷💷💷, amnesia doughnuts on top. The two hosts have no problem saying things as... 'let's say hello to our first guests this evening, a couple who love nothing more than a good drama: they are the stars of the hit time-traveling show Outlander, CB and SH'. Now imagine you have no damn idea about These Two, OL, nor the entire shitshow: you'd have no problem buying this as cute, legit information, since especially C is not very helpful in the Narrative Department. But we know the drama and the shitshow this simple detail creates every day, don't we (also, 'delusional', ROFLMAO)? It wouldn't have cost a single dime to clearly say 'a TV couple', unless... Unless (yes, I hear the Mordor drums, Fernando, let them bark).
The host in red (sorry, my knowledge of BBC's talk show hosts is below sea level) goes on to help situate C for the average viewer: 'now, C, people would know you from lots of different stuff including Belfast of Kenneth Branagh, but this [OL] is the thing, isn't it, that people really like going on about'. She then proceeds to ask her if it is true than when she got the part, she wasn't really excited about it. It took me five seconds to realize she was asking about OL, not Belfast.
The rest of it is nothing to write home about, except the brief holding hands moment. Mind you, he took her hand (so long for all the dead souls who thought he wasn't touching her in public anymore).
Also, this beatific smile. It's almost as if The Flying Scotsman would have punched her in the gut and for the life of me, I cannot find any reasonable explanation for such an extravagance (😉):
Hope that helps. Good night ;)

Let me be clear: although many think I don't have a real life, I do. I'm not just a Tumblr account... I have a family, dogs and a cat. I'm currently recovering from bronchitis 😮💨🫁, and dealing with the school holidays 👧🏼🛝 and lots to do at work. 🤯🤯🤯 That's why I'm not at all sorry for being MIA... I have my priorities, my family and my health...
I've said it a few times... Sam and Cait's shitshow is just a pastime for me... So back off, nasty Anons... You're wasting your time here🖕😜
---
It's not a real timeline, but look at this amazing script... Brilliant... 😝🤣
1) Sam in London; 2) a "fan" says Sam was with a "female friend"; 3) Susie in London; 4) P's innuendos; 5) Susie posts latergrams in a hotel room and gym, it looks like one of rooms at the Firmdale hotels; 6) P says she won't publish without a real evidence 🤣; 7) Susie returns to her home; 8) Another "fan" says she saw Sam on a flight to Gran Canaria; 9) Sam shows himself in a mysterious room on IG Live; 10) Sam's small group of stalkers (surprisingly, they're not the evil shippers 😜🤣) certainly discover that it's not a room in a luxurious hotel (the kind Sam usually stays in) ***(Sam has people monitoring his online steps and who he follows on Instagram, etc... Nothing new there... But I'm curious how someone who isn't a fan gets "here"?! And this fandom have some here, they are not fans of Sam and Cait or Outlander. See below 😉); 11) P releases the name of the new blonde; 12) the current blonde posts several pics/videos showing some gym in Gran Canaria and an airbnb Villa; 13) Sam's voice appears in two of the blonde's videos; 14) B posts the blonde's airbnb Villa; 15) The war of the "queens of Mordor" begins (I don't believe anything about this war, but it's funny and keeps people entertained, just what SamCait and PR want); 16) B says that airbnb Villa is not the place where Sam did his Live; 17) B goes back on what she said, and shows that the male SH and the female SH are in the same Villa 🤣; 18) Chaos begins in the fandom; 19) Sam appears in Austria/Audi Ambassador stuff; 20) blonde posts with her son at her home (latergram... 🤦🏻♀️); 21) Ok... Susie, Sarah, who will be the next S? ⏰️
😜🤣
***⬇️
Script to look like James Bond... Women and cars... ?! 🤦🏻♀️😬 No, you are not Bond, Mr. Heughan... Sorry! 😝😂
---
But on the other hand...
You know.. I'm not on the "gay train", but hey... I can't blame anyone who thinks he's gay. And have you noticed how several women, linked to Sam, are always traveling to paradisiacal beaches or going to gyms with their gay friends... ?!? You don't even need to follow them on Instagram to know this, there are accounts here that posted everything about them... All that was missing was their blood type... 😝🤣
"Hawaiigate Oops Gran Canaria gate" didn't seem like a good script to prove that Sam occasionally has affairs with women... Even because the place is known for...
But, it certainly moves things around here... Just saying 🤷🏻♀️😂
---
OMG... Laughing a lot with #Samarah... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
---
And Sam/PR decided to fix a flaw in the script and his speech, something that became a joke in this fandom, at least among shippers...
There are women in Glasgow, people! After 10 years, he finally had time to meet a woman there...
Amen 🙌
🤣🤣🤣
---
I find it very difficult for a taurus man, who calls himself a romantic, who is used to staying in hotels like those from the FS and Firmdale chains and who has already made this type of comment...
Taking his supposed girlfriend to a place with these reviews... 🤔😬😂
After 10 years, Sam knowing how this fandom is, being the guy who claims to preserve his loved ones, would he leave breadcrumbs for "fans" to create a new story if he was really dating this woman? I'm amazed that she, with a son, gets involved in this shitshow, but who will know her reasons.... Even Cait used her pregnancy and child in the Belfast promo.
---
Let's see if Sam will follow P's wishes and take Sarah to the TCND event... And let's pray 🙏.
I see THE RING 👰🏼♀️ #Samarah 🤣🤣🤣 This didn't even take 7 days, it seems! 🤣🤣🤣
---
I still spend my free time looking at what SamCait shows and what this fandom says because I want to see the end of this shit, when Sam no longer has P or B and his onlys... One day Sam and Cait will fall into oblivion and that's why that they keep feeding this whole circus... What, or rather, who would Sam and Cait be without all this crap? I think it's funny that Sam pulls all this on himself... Except during promo, he's the one who moves things around here (right now Gran Canaria gate, Austria trip, Scottish Sun article, a new company with an enigmatic name... It could be SDFGINEEDTHISSHITSHOWCVBN 😝🤣, "Audi Quattro",...). But to me... This seems like something from someone protecting their loved ones, taking on all the shit for himself. Although, every now and then Cait needs to show that she is alive and with her husband by her side.
I watch and wait... And I know I'm not alone in this! 🧘🏻♀️😜

The way how Amazon promote Haladriel as light/dark ship are off any charts!
honestly i was amazed. incredible stuff going on in those promos. every other pic i saw on twitter had this really raw sexual energy too, like they were about to fuck nasty right in front of celeborn. giving more outlander vibes than rings of power tbh and i know it's probably bait, but they set us up good!

New York source info CONFIRMING Sam and Cait did not stay at the same hotel when they were there last week for Outlander Season 7 promo and premiere.
I know Extreme Shippers and others wanted to say Sam and Cait stayed at the same hotel because there were pics Cait posted, and her styling team posted showing the distinctive windows of that particular hotel. It's the hotel in NY Sam has stayed at for the past few years. He used to stay elsewhere, but he switched to this one a few years ago. I'm not naming the hotel because it's where Sam always stays when he goes to NY. Whereas, the hotel the rest of the cast stayed at is not any cast's particular favorite, as far as I know.
Here are the DMs from the NY source with info about where everyone stayed, and evidence showing Cait didn't stay at the same hotel. Those pics were only OL PR stuff. 👇
In short, the autograph hounds get tips where celebs are staying. They knew Sam was staying at his usual hotel and waited outside holding pics of him for him to sign. They didn't have pics of Cait...that means they knew she wasn't staying at that hotel--Sam's hotel. That's all, folks.

Dudeeeee, that last episode of Outlander had me so emotional. Jamie showing Mandy the horses and telling her that he would teach her to ride them. Jamie telling Bree he could not say goodbye to her. Jemmy saying I love you. That final scene between Jamie and Roger. Claire breaking down after Bree and Roger left. Like damn. Also, I wish we got to see Roger holding Mandy. Unless he did and I've just forgotten because I was too busy crying lol)
OOOOOH MY GOD ME TOO!!!! I cried during the whole fucking episode!!! I had to pause a few times during the goodbyes at the stones because I was crying so hard I couldn't see the screen. They were all so excited to have little Mandy in their life and the devastation they all experienced upon learning about her heart defect. God it was so sad but they all played it so well! But the goodbyes KILLED ME!!!! I'm still brokenhearted by it. I loved it. Great episode. Oh and Roger does hold her! There's a brief blink and you'll miss it shot of him holding her when they all reach Wilmington and he helps Bree out of the carriage.
Hopefully we'll get some good stuff with him and Mandy in the future. I'm very excited to see Roger and Bree in the future again. That quick shot of them in promo was awesome and I'm excited to see their lives at Lallybroch! I do remember that stuff from the books. I think that's when I was skipping through the JC stuff to Roger and Brees chapters XD

Lottie: Oh, I'm passing judgement. I'm passing so much judgement. I'm not really passing it against Liam, though. Most of my annoyance and anger lies with the showrunners. I'll give Liam a good chance because he's a great actor. I was pleasantly surprised how much I really liked his roles in The Dressmaker and The Hunger Games franchise (and that is the most recent of his films I've seen sadly lol), so I feel like he'll probably do good with the role. I'm just pissed that Geralt is being recast in the first place. Lottie: Did you see that Baginski said that the reason they've had to change storylines is because Americans don't have the "higher level of nuance and complexity" to follow the original stories? Lottie: What kills me about Netflix is I'm really upset with them for the way they're handling 90% of their shit, but I also can't bring myself to cancel my subscription or anything like that. They have me addicted to their stuff, and they know it. That being said, I do think their marketing team needs to be fired. There are so many things they could be doing to market their new shows and seasons and stuff better, and they're just not doing it. Prime example, like you said, those screen tests/chemistry runs and stuff make amazing promos. They could just throw something together to keep their fans waiting; at the very least, to make the fans who are nervous about Liam feel a little better about everything. Lottie: I honestly haven't read the books or played the games, so the show is all I have to compare it against, but I've read enough about the differences to understand exactly why Henry and other fans are upset. I own the books and will eventually read them, but I'm currently making my way through the Outlander series so literary Geralt will have to wait ha. Lottie: And I just realized how much I rambled there; I apologize lol.
Gabe: Eh, I'm not really passing judgement until I actually see him in action. Like yes, Henry was great at Geralt, I will be the first person to say so! But that's not to say Liam won't be great also, and who knows! Maybe he'll bring something to the character that we didn't know Henry was lacking. Gabe: From everything I've seen it kind of sounds like they've started filming! Or at least have done screen tests at the very least, and dude. Those make great promos, idk why Netflix isn't jumping at posting that kind of thing online to try and generate buzz for the show! Gabe: I just wish I had the books to get me through this dry period. I've never actually read those, just played the games because they looked amazing. And of course I was right about that lmao but for real. I'm actually curious about how different the books are since that's the big issue everyone is taking with the series.
#{ text messages }#{ texts | gabriel }#{ gabriel cohen chang }#{ ooc | so this is sooooo much longer than I meant it to be. I'm so sorry lmao }

Different PR strategies to push a movie
There are a lots of comments in the past weeks about Cait's PR strategy for Belfast.
I have to admit that the number of interviews, TV appearances, online chats, etc. also got on my nerves over time. But I think that's simply because every article, etc. that appears is also posted here in this fandome.
I suspect, however, that anyone who buys an issue of the Guardian, Vogue, the Irish Tatler or Vanity Fair will not notice that the article style, the questions and statements in all articles are almost the same, if one disregards small deviations and nuances that come about due to the different journalists.
After a film has been shot and before it is released in theaters or on television, a PR strategy is defined to market the film, which should arouse the interest of viewers and thus guarantee the highest possible box-office takings. This strategy is then used for all interviews, appearances, practically a red thread to which one is oriented.
Or does anyone really believe that after a film has cost millions to produce, actors are left to their own devices in interviews and are allowed/capable of saying whatever they want? The same goes for the interviewers. They are given a list of questions in advance, which they can use as a guide.
If we now transfer this to Belfast, it is only understandable that Cait talks about family, children, Ireland etc. in her interviews. Belfast is a family film, it's about Ireland, it's about children, it's about family and the difficult decision to leave home. Anyone who reads the interviews will now think to themselves. Great the actress knows her stuff, she doesn't just play this role, she has experienced it all personally: Childhood in Ireland under difficult conditions, a child herself and a husband to protect from the crazy fans, leaving home early to work as a model. People get curious, interest in the film is aroused, sales increase, etc.
It's very similar with Jamie D., he also talks a lot about his family, his childhood in Ireland, etc. in his interviews. I don't think he talked much about his family in the promo events for 50 shades of Grey, that was simply not necessary and didn't really fit the film.
When we now come to Outlander's PR strategy, things look completely different.
From the beginning, a lot of interviews, magazines, etc., have focused everything on the sex scenes. It was often said that the producers expected them to be as realistic as possible. I always wondered why there was so much focus on the sex scenes and not on the incredible chemistry of the leads in general. The fact that in a simple kiss scene (Wedding kiss, Prestonpans, Eye of the Storm, etc.) in an embrace (Prestonpans, Blood of my blood) or in a dialogue, they both convey so much emotion like no other acting couple.
It is known that SC has a contract for 6 seasons. This also means that since then, they have to ride this strategy. Countless stupid questions about the sex scenes, which are always repeated in every promo of a new season.
Just thinking about what questions were asked during that time:
- Whether the two of them are now allowed to play their sex scenes completely free, without a script
- Or the question about Jamie's Tinder account. (Season 4)
- Whether the sex in their 20s was better than in the 40s (Season 3).
- Whether questions about the French kissing because OL is set in France in season 2. etc.
I don't remember Rik or Sophie being asked similar stupid questions.
Starz tolerated all of this, even pushed it, in order to increase interest in the series and sales the series.
But that's how PR works, with the difference that Belfast's PR did a more professional job to some extent.
Since Belfast has been running in the UK this week, I think the promo will be finished in the near future.
I'm curious to see how or if Starz will push the PR for OL and if the approach will be the same as before. It wouldn't surprise me if then question came how it was to shoot the sex scenes during Cait's pregnancy and with baby bump.

Also, we are exactly two months away from the season 6 premiere. Outlander promo will be begin soon, in person or virtual I do not know. Not that we all need this PSA as many have been through the flames and back many times over the years, but let this serve as a cautionary tale that the 💩 that is being thrown at us is not over and we will get more stuff to 🙄 and 🤦🏻♀️ later on. But don’t worry, the playful SM banter will come back a few weeks from now just in time for March 6.

Haha!!! I feel your pain but I'm ok with Cait not on SM. Knowing how awful this fandom has been to her, she's right staying away. The toxic Outlander fandom has managed to take away anything nice she gave us for many years. I miss her posts and interaction but I also understand if she's had enough. All I want is to see her in other projects sooner rather than later.
Oh, I don’t need to see her interacting or anything! I just mean new interviews, new promo photos….. work related stuff! I’m sooooo excited for Belfast to come out! I’m hoping and praying America can gets its shit together before November so we can avoid another shut down. I need to see this in theatres 😩

100% anon here again :)
I agree again. And like there was no need to add roadblocks for EO. Like the stuff that’s aready there is more then enough to justify a slow burn 2.0
He was gone for ten years. He abandoned her. He needs to gain her trust that will take time. Hell he doesn’t even know about Lewis yet.
All this makes me feel that the OC writers sometimes forget that El and Liv have a 22 years old history?! And that that history and the characters connection is the only reason they have a job at that show right now. They should remember that and do it justice.
Yes! Like, I get that these are crime dramas and not Outlander or something, but come one. Deep down even the least Elliot/Olivia-inclined people behind SVU and OC can admit that that’s the reason why such a big fuss was made about wanting Elliot back, and why a big fuss was made with promo when he came back.
And I really do enjoy the way Ilene Chaiken has written El and Liv’s scenes so far, but I’m honestly not enjoying much else. I understand wanting to create an interesting story, but I think showrunners and writers reeeeally underestimate how much viewers just want to watch two characters be in love. I live, breathe, and eat slow burns, but this is getting out of hand lol And it is possible to have intrigue, a good plot, and storytelling when the main couple is in a solid, strong relationship—again, I call upon Outlander.
It’s gonna take a while for Liv to truly trust Elliot enough again to even begin to think about having the Lewis conversation (which I simultaneously crave like the air I breathe and dread for the multitude of ways the writers could ruin it).
Therefore,

How ‘bout that early release of Episode 1 The Fiery Cross? Spoilers, shmoilers. Pfft… what’s a 75-hour Tumblr embargo* when you’re accustomed to a 25-hour one?
After much whining, Season 5 finally arrived chez moi. What did I think?
Cold Open: Gave me chills, despite having seen it during promo. Murtz. In a kilt. Walking across a grassy field. Wind blowing through his hair. Reassuring a bereaved child. What’s not to love?
Theme Song: Missed (Mrs. Bear McCreary) Raya Yarbrough’s solo, but the choral version is already growing on me.
Opening Credits: Quietly thrilled to see Producer Caitriona Balfe, Producer Sam Heughan, and look forward to seeing their influence mid-season forward. (Remember, they received the new gigs after S5 production was well underway.)
Wedding Preparation: Beautiful dress with so many details to highlight the Scottish heritage the bride only recently discovered. So many sweet moments between Claire and Brianna and between Jamie and Brianna. “Je suis prest.” Da, your daughter’s a Fraser.
The (New) Wedding: The Frasers of the Ridge are here! (Chills 2) Loved the callback to S1E7 The Wedding — Jamie and Brianna’s walk through the doorway into the sunlight. Thought the juxtapositions were poignant — A reluctant bride in a dark church, hesitatingly saying her vows. A joyous bride in the great outdoors, eagerly saying hers. A small group of men, a tavern hostess, a prostitute, and no family-of-the-bride as guests. A huge gathering of friends and tenants of all genders and ages, and the bride’s parents, son, brother, sister-in-law, nephew, niece, great-aunt… and great-godfather, who managed to catch a glimpse from afar, as guests.
Fraser-MacKenzie Kids: Germain and Jemmy and Joanie, oh my! And Fergus and Marsali’s privately celebrating Félicité “in utero” was a lovely moment. (For anyone confused about number of the babies, Lizzie looked after Jemmy during the wedding ceremony, while Marsali held Joanie on her knee.)
“Some Shakespeare, anyone?”: Really, Lord John? 🤦🏻♀️
L is for the way you look at me: If you’ve never had someone pick up a guitar and sing a love song just for you… well, let’s just say Murtz wasn’t the first man to steal my heart. Rik Rankin truly has a lovely singing voice, and I will dearly miss Roger’s when… well… you know. Sigh.
Favourite Line: “I’ve got more on my mind than kissin’ and what have you, Mr. Fraser, Sir.” (Josiah Beardsley) What have you… 😂
Jocasta Cameron: Snob? Sly? Slut? All of the above?
Black Jack The Sequel: What is it with these corrupt redcoats? Governor Tryon annoys me more with each scene.
Hair Tics: I’m confident me ol’ pal @saint-hildegard-of-bingen is unable to count the number of times I’ve referred to myself as a heretic while talking to her, something I never did prior to reading the Outlander series, particularly The Fiery Cross. 😎
The Kilt: Oh, the kilt! (Chills 3) And the callback to S2E9 Je Suis Prest with the song Moch Sa Mhadainn. Powerful Scottish stuff.
Lighting Of The Cross: (Chills 4) I loved it and I’m not sorry. Highland chieftains set fire to a cross to call their men to arms. Period. Jamie lit his cross 90-something years before someone bastardized the long-held Scottish tradition.
Stand By My Hand: (Chills 5) So. Many. Feels. Loved the callback to S1E4 The Gathering. Isaiah Morton’s** realizing Roger didn’t quite get Jamie’s invitation, and teaching by doing, made me smile. Jamie’s being impressed Roger didn’t need to “Repeat what I say” made me smile more. Jamie’s looking to Brianna for confirmation before accepting Roger’s pledge made me tear up. Marsali’s pride at Fergus’s pledging his fealty — and at her not having to prompt Jamie to recognize Fergus’s worth — released those tears. The rest of the men’s lining up to more Moch Sa Mhadainn sealed the deal. Favourite scene, hands down.
Ghoistidh: Jamie’s knowing he’ll abandon Tryon eventually to fight alongside Washington, conflicting with Murtagh’s need to lead the Regulators and antagonize Tryon now, breaks my heart. And don’t get me started on Jamie’s releasing Murtz from his decades-old vow. 😭
Forewarning: If Murtz dies as a Regulator, and if Jamie is directly involved in his death, I will be inconsolable… about losing TV-Murtagh. Real Life Murtagh™ is safe, at home with me.
Sadly Absent: Young Ian. I really missed Ian. And Rollo. (Which is more than I can say for Lizzie. She looked at Josiah Beardsley on the big house verandah the same way she looked at Young Ian on the Cape Fear boat.) Hurry home…
Reality Bites: Too clean? Too modern? Too fancy? Too funny. Three of the four main characters touched a rock and instantaneously travelled 200 years. One of them three stinkin’ times. Reality left the building at 37:41 of the first episode. (Well, Frank saw a ghost at 24:20, but who wants to talk about Frank?) Embrace the fiction…
Closing Credits: Reports of Ronald D. Moore’s executive-producer death have been greatly exaggerated. Like the author’s, we see his name in big, bold font immediately before and after the episode. **I recognized Isaiah Morton by John Quincy Myers’ “Come on, Morton, time waits for no man” during the drinking game (if you didn’t catch him there, Isaiah was the first man to pledge fealty to Jamie), but I can’t put faces to book-familiar names Murdina & Arch Bug, Margaret Chisholm, Duncan Innes, or Ronnie Sinclair. Could you? 🤔
Get your act together, Starz, and offer your app to the rest of the world. *On W Network in Canada Im able to start watching Outlander 25 hours after Starz app users in the USA and Puerto Rico start watching it. Of course when you change your cable package without subscribing to W Network and discover your thinking it’s available for free preview in February is a mistake, 75 hours extends to 85 hours, minimum, what with having to wait till morning to call to subscribe. Blah blah blah. 🧀 🧀 🧀 to accompany the whine.
Note: If you choose to read my recap/review(s), and think, “Of course she’s all positive and happy about the show; she wouldn’t say shite if her mooth was full of it,” you’re sadly mistaken. Few things come more naturally to me than being negative and critical. I grew up in an environment where, if you have nothing nice to say, you make sure everyone can hear it. I wrestle with the ghost of that environment every time I open my mouth. I refuse to let it haunt my blog. #TV #Fiction #Fun

Thanks for getting me out of shipper's dig.
I have to say I was very deep in the shipper's blog and I was starting to believe until I saw your posts. What convinced me was the Sam's pictures whit his partners. The shippers don't really focus on the Sam's relationships and merely portray him as single. They really just try to prove that Cait/Tony is completely a PR act. Cait/Tony don't really look like a couple. And I have to say theory of it being a stunt looks really convincing. Tony really looks an agent for her. Cait/Sam close friendship does not help either. There is just too many pictures of them doing off screen activities together. They look also more affectionate towards each other in those off screen activities, and you just fell like Tony can't be her husband. Tony/Cait just don't show any level of physical intimacy in public unlike Sam/Cait except that early picture where Cait is sitting in Ton'y lap. Anyway I just wanted to convey some of my feelings to show why it looks convincing to some people. but now I am unhooked from the obsession of it.
‐---------------------
The above is from Submit from @ariana-phoenix Thanks for your comment, Ariana! And I'm glad seeing the UNDENIABLE proof of Sam and the women he's dated helped you to take off your shipper goggles...and thus, save yourself a lot of heartache.
As for Sam and Cait, there are NO off screen activities that show Sam and Cait being anything but the good friends that they are. The pics and videos you may have seen on shipper blogs are either Sam and Cait PROMOTING Outlander or two good friends being platonically affectionate with each other OR Extreme Shippers MANIPULATING pics, videos or gifs. When there have been pics of Sam and Cait NOT at an Outlander related event (that includes BTS stuff), for example, out to dinner with other cast mates, they look simply like the friends that they are. Anything else is an optical illusion propagated by Extreme Shippers.
As for Cait and Tony, below is a small sampling of Cait and Tony being cute and affectionate with each other. They aren't all over each other, making out in public, because they are mature adults, not some hormonal teens, and they save the bedroom stuff for the bedroom.
See, the problem Extreme Shippers ran into is that they forgot that, or maybe never learned that: When ACTORS are being PAID to SELL the epic love story of an epic couple, they tend to ACT like that epic couple at PROMO events to create buzz for their show. If they don't sell the chemistry, no one will watch the show, and then they're out of a job. Whereas, Cait and Tony aren't selling anything. They don't have to "show off" their relationship to anyone. Their relationship is for them, not us. And as I've said for years, a woman of Cait's caliber, who is over 40, and knows what she wants, would not stay with a man who didn't rock her world, including in bed. Cait and Tony have been together for 7 years, if he wasn't giving it to her and GOOD, she wouldn't still be with him. The thing is he's giving it to her in PRIVATE. Like a normal couple...who aren't promoting or selling anything. Simple as that.
As for you, Ariana, welcome to the sane side, where we still have fun and do squee over love, and it's even better, because it's REAL LOVE.

D'you think we *might* get a sliver of Roger whump when he saves Fergus' new baby when the kids on the Ridge try to drown him? Pretty sure I saw a promo pic for that scene 👀
I SURE HOPE SO!!!!! I'M REALLY HOPING SO!!! I feel like if we're gonna get any Roger whump it's gonna be then and oooh man am I hoping for some. I don't know if we will but I am looking forward that that scene. I actually went to my book to look it up because it's been so long and I am so glad they filmed it instead of making it a story Jamie tells like in the book. I can't wait to see badass, brave Roger jump in to save Henri Christian and then majorly tell off those kids. It'll be great. And maybe we'll see some smaller whumps like fights or emotional stuff and such throughout the season. That'd be nice too. But I remember his story in book 6 being relatively calm (as calm as Outlander can be lol) but you never know! We might get some good stuff that isn't in the books at all! So fingers crossed!! I am really looking forward to the Fergus whump we're getting though. It's gonna wreck me but I love Fergus and I'm looking forward to him having some more screen time.
