I feel like one of the earlier things that Simon has to learn in your relationship is that not only is he allowed to have opinions, you want him to have them.
It’s not to say he’s indecisive. That’s not really something he’s capable of being. But in the depths of him he really just doesn’t… care. That sounds a lot worse than how he actually feels. But he doesn’t particularly mind one way or the other if you makes mashed or baked potatoes for dinner, or what shoes you wish to wear, or what candle scent mixes best in the bathroom, of all things??? You took him in, feed him and give him every part of yourself. He doesn’t care if you decided to give him a spoon and a can of beans every night, or wore nothing but granny panties and your worn out shirts from high school. He simply cares that it’s you doing it.
He’s in the military. Deep self expression isn’t exactly what they’re known for. Not to mention, he remembers the way his dad ruled his childhood home with an iron fist. His way or the highway; picked every meal, activity, and emotion they were allowed to have. And he’ll be damned if he replicated that in your shared space.
However, he’s not immune to that little disappointed look you have on your face when he brushes off your questions. Nor does he understand why when he does give you an answer after you pester him, you don’t seem as happy with it. I imagine it takes Price having one of those great Teaching moments for Simon to actually get it. Divorced John Price for the win.
Price has to explain that it’s about Simon showing interest in the things you care about. You don’t actually care about the outfit or whatever, you care that he is interested in you. You care that he helps create a house that he enjoys being in with you.
So He tries to outbrain you by picking the option he thinks you want him to pick. He thinks he’s being clever, but you catch that shit a mile away, probably have a small disagreement about it. After that he decides trying to outsmart the person who sleeps in his bed probably isn’t the solution he originally thought it was.
It takes him a bit, but he does eventually get it right. Actually considers the options you give him and he realizes that he does have preferences. He does like certain colors on you, does like picking colored tea towels out with you, does like sniffing candles to put on the coffee table, does like deciding what size and heft the utensils should be. If for no other reason than to watch you beam and nod, or playfully argue over something so simple. Something so simple that won’t end in death or tears, something so simple but he understands to be important because you want this with him.
He does, however, get this incredibly exasperated look when he gives you his opinon and you choose the opposite. He actually thinks it’s pretty funny, cause he knows you’re being difficult to spite him. Doesn’t mean he isn’t gonna side eye you.

ok i think i finally figured out why dagur and Hiccup's relationship is so special to me as 'brothers'.
they've known each other for, like, forever. They knew they were both going to be chief one day. They saw each other yearly for Things, plus more often most likely on various diplomatic duties.
the fact that they were enemies for the majority of that time doesn't negate the fact that they knew each other. this is why they're so good at being villain/hero, tbh-- they can rattle off the most sassy, dramatic quips because they've been doing it for the past fifteen freaking years.
hiccup's gotta be having the time of his life (at least for the first week or so) finally having the firepower to back him up so he can outbrain Dagur and actually win.
i feel like i forget all the time that dagur's not all that much older than Hiccup. In RoB, Dagur's a teenager. If I had to guess, that puts him at about 20/21 in RTTE to Hiccup's 18.
dagur's desperate to have some decent family back fr fr
they both change their perspectives on how to lead drastically over the course of all the media they're in, and so when they both reach that place towards the end of RTTE where they make up and become allies, they're both more than willing to put their past behind them for the sake of their people. (Plus Hiccup's just cool like that).
THEN Hiccup gets to watch Dagur go through all of the early steps of chieftaindom, and life in general-- Dagur's wedding ring a bell? Dagur literally begins to become (at least in my head) somewhat of an older brother figure-- he doesn't know much, but what he does know he'll let Hiccup in on, with a solid amount of teasing to go along with it.
somewhere in there hiccup actually starts calling Dagur 'brother' back, and they develop this sort of battle brothers vibe that I think is really awesome.
In conclusion-- idk how to say it exactly, but Hiccup and Dagur growing up together and hating each other for the majority of it but always being around each other and then ending up with some sort of pretty powerful bond is really special to me and i think it's awesome maybe ill write a fic about it someday

I've seen a few ads on youtube where it's a real person reading something that sounds like it was written by a robot. Weird diction, awkward phrasing, monotone delivery, little bits of "one weird trick" type verbiage sprinkled throughout that give the impression that you scrolled down too far on a local news website and wandered into the Outbrain or Taboola ads. I kind of wonder if this is on purpose as a way to target credulous morons specifically.
I've seen ads like this for a few unrelated things, but most recently I saw a, as far as I can tell, NON-scam ad from a solar installer trying to convince you to use the government subsidized loan program to hire them to install solar panels. But it's framed more like... (((they))) don't want you to know that you can avail yourself of a secret government program created and funded for the explicit purpose of giving you cheap solar panels.
It's like trying to market food stamps to sovereign citizens.

7 Major Types of Native Advertising: A Guide for Marketers
Native advertising is a powerful tool that seamlessly integrates with content platforms, making promotional material feel natural rather than intrusive. Whether you're looking to boost brand awareness, drive conversions, or enhance engagement, native advertising offers a unique opportunity to connect with audiences more effectively than traditional marketing methods. Statistics show that native ads are seen 53% more often than traditional ads and can improve brand promotion by up to 82%.
What is Native Advertising?
Native advertising is a form of paid media where the ads match the look, feel, and function of the platform on which they appear. Unlike traditional banner ads that disrupt the user experience, native ads blend seamlessly into the page, appearing as part of the natural content. This makes them more engaging and less intrusive.
Native ads can be found across publisher websites, social media platforms, and even search engine results. On LinkedIn, for example, native ads appear as sponsored posts that look just like regular content, ensuring a smoother, more engaging experience for users.
How to Recognize Native Ads
Because native ads integrate seamlessly into content, they may be harder to spot. However, consumer protection organizations like the FTC and the IAB regulate native advertising to ensure transparency. Look out for labels such as "sponsored," "promoted," or "recommended"—these indicate a piece of content is an ad.
7 Major Types of Native Advertising
1. In-Feed Native Ads
These ads appear within the regular content feed of a website or social media platform. Whether on LinkedIn, Facebook, or a news website, they blend with organic content while carrying labels like "sponsored" or "promoted."
2. In-Content Native Ads
Integrated within an article or blog post, these ads maintain a logical flow and enhance the reading experience. Typically placed between paragraphs or at the end of an article, they ensure a non-disruptive advertising approach.
3. Content Recommendation Ads
When you read an article, you may notice suggestions for other content labelled as "recommended" or "you might also like." These ads, powered by platforms like Outbrain and Taboola, are designed to drive traffic by promoting relevant content to engaged readers.
4. Branded Content
Branded or native content is sponsored editorial content created in collaboration with publishers. Platforms like Forbes BrandVoice allow brands to publish articles that appear just like editorial content, helping build trust and credibility.
5. Promoted Listings
E-commerce platforms like Amazon and eBay use promoted listings to highlight products in search results. These listings look like organic search results but are sponsored to increase visibility and drive sales.
6. Paid Search Ads
These ads appear at the top of search engine results and resemble organic listings. Labelled as "sponsored," they are a critical component of search engine marketing (SEM), offering a high return on investment.
7. In-Ad (IAB Standard)
These ads appear outside of editorial content but remain contextually relevant. For example, a recipe website might display ads for cooking ingredients alongside articles about meal preparation.
The Ethics of Native Advertising
The history of advertising is filled with creative—and sometimes controversial—examples. One notable case is Nikolai Shustov, a Russian distiller who used unconventional advertising methods in the early 1900s, including staged bar fights and paid actors. While effective, such aggressive tactics raised ethical concerns. Today, advertisers must strike a balance between creativity and responsibility, ensuring that native ads are transparent and do not mislead audiences.
Why Native Advertising is Essential for Your Business
Native advertising allows brands to engage audiences naturally, providing value while promoting products or services. Its ability to integrate seamlessly into content platforms makes it an essential strategy for marketers looking to increase visibility, engagement, and conversions. Whether through in-feed ads, content recommendations, or branded content, native advertising is a versatile and highly effective marketing tool.
As digital marketing evolves, brands that leverage native advertising effectively will gain a competitive edge. Have you used native advertising in your marketing strategy? Share your experiences in the comments below!

How Gambling Affiliates Can Boost Profits with Traffic Arbitrage
In the competitive world of online gambling, affiliates are constantly seeking innovative methods to boost their earnings. One of the most effective strategies is traffic arbitrage. This technique allows affiliates to generate profits by buying traffic at a lower cost and directing it to high-converting gambling offers. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how gambling affiliates can optimize their profits through traffic arbitrage.
What is Traffic Arbitrage?
Traffic arbitrage is a marketing strategy where affiliates purchase web traffic from various sources and redirect it to monetized platforms. The goal is to generate revenue that exceeds the cost of acquiring the traffic. For gambling affiliates, this often involves driving visitors to online casinos, sportsbooks, or other gambling-related platforms.
Why Traffic Arbitrage is Ideal for Gambling Affiliates
The gambling industry offers some of the highest commissions in affiliate marketing. Combine this with the scalability of traffic arbitrage, and you have a formula for potentially lucrative returns. Here are some reasons why traffic arbitrage is particularly effective in this niche:
High Payouts Gambling affiliate programs often pay per lead (CPA), revenue share, or hybrid models, with commissions ranging from $50 to several hundred dollars per conversion.
Global Appeal Online gambling has a worldwide audience, allowing affiliates to target diverse regions with tailored traffic campaigns.
Scalable Opportunities Affiliates can start with small budgets and scale their efforts as they identify profitable traffic sources and campaigns.
Steps to Implement Traffic Arbitrage for Gambling Affiliates
1. Research Your Audience and Markets
Understanding your target audience is critical. Different regions have varying levels of interest in gambling, and their preferences for games, sportsbooks, or casinos differ. For example:
Europe: Popular for sports betting and poker.
Asia: High demand for live casinos and lotteries.
North America: A growing interest in online casinos and sports betting due to recent legalization.
Use analytics tools and market research to identify the best-performing demographics for your campaigns.
2. Choose Reliable Traffic Sources
The success of traffic arbitrage relies heavily on the quality of traffic. Here are common traffic sources affiliates use:
Social Media Ads: Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok allow targeted ads based on demographics, interests, and behaviors.
Google Ads: While gambling ads are restricted, affiliates can use Google Ads to promote related content such as betting tips or strategies.
Native Advertising: Platforms like Taboola or Outbrain are ideal for driving traffic through engaging content.
Pop-under Ads: These are cost-effective for gambling campaigns, especially in markets where pop-unders perform well.
3. Focus on Conversion Optimization
Once traffic lands on the патнерки гемблингoffer, it must convert. Affiliates can boost conversions through:
High-Quality Landing Pages: Ensure pages are mobile-friendly, fast-loading, and provide clear calls-to-action (CTAs).
Localized Content: Use language, currency, and themes tailored to the audience’s region.
A/B Testing: Test different headlines, CTAs, and page designs to identify the highest-converting combinations.
4. Monitor Campaign Performance
Use tracking tools like Voluum, Bemob, or RedTrack to monitor traffic performance. Key metrics to track include:
Cost per Click (CPC): How much you’re paying for each visitor.
Conversion Rate (CR): The percentage of visitors completing the desired action (e.g., signing up, depositing money).
Return on Investment (ROI): Calculate whether your revenue exceeds traffic costs.
Best Practices for Gambling Traffic Arbitrage
1. Stay Compliant with Regulations
Gambling is a heavily regulated industry. Affiliates must adhere to advertising and licensing laws in their target regions. Avoid using deceptive tactics, and always disclose affiliate partnerships.
2. Use Retargeting Strategies
Many visitors don’t convert on their first visit. Retargeting campaigns help bring these users back by displaying relevant ads based on their previous interactions.
3. Diversify Traffic Sources
Relying on a single source of traffic can be risky. Diversify across platforms to minimize dependency and ensure a steady flow of traffic.
4. Focus on High-Lifetime Value (LTV) Offers
Choose gambling operators with high player retention rates. Revenue share models can be particularly profitable if the operator ensures long-term player engagement.
Common Challenges and How to Overcome Them
High Competition: The gambling niche is crowded, making it challenging to stand out. Overcome this by identifying under-served niches or targeting emerging markets.
Traffic Quality Issues: Low-quality traffic can lead to poor conversions and wasted ad spend. Use filters and advanced targeting options to ensure traffic aligns with your audience.
Ad Restrictions: Platforms like Google and Facebook have strict policies regarding gambling ads. Work around this by promoting content indirectly related to gambling or leveraging alternative platforms.
Conclusion
Traffic arbitrage is a powerful tool for gambling affiliates looking to maximize profits. By understanding your audience, choosing reliable traffic sources, and focusing on conversion optimization, you can turn arbitrage into a highly profitable venture. While challenges exist, a strategic approach and consistent monitoring can ensure long-term success in this competitive yet rewarding industry.

ce to the Middle East? - interview
Former US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and TBN President Matt Crouch talk Abraham Accords documentary, the biblical narrative and the future of the Middle East.
By MAAYAN JAFFE-HOFFMANDECEMBER 2, 2021 20:10Updated: DECEMBER 3, 2021 07:17
In the annals of ancient history of the Middle East, a man named Abraham receives a promise from God that he will become the father of many nations.
So begins the second episode of a new documentary called The Abraham Accords, named for the peace treaties signed by Israel and its Arab neighbors last year.
On the surface, it is an unexpected opening for a film about the signing of a diplomatic breakthrough agreement. But according to the film’s executive producer, former US ambassador to Israel David Friedman, the Abraham Accords also hold “a very important place from a biblical perspective.Top ArticlesRead More

“I always felt that [the accords] marked the reconciliation of Jews and Muslims, something which was viewed favorably among biblical authorities,” he said.
The first episode of the documentary, produced by Trinity Broadcasting Network – the world’s largest Christian television broadcaster in the US – aired earlier this year. The second episode is slated to run on Friday, December 3.
A little more of the biblical narrative, as described in the documentary: The children of Israel are the Jewish descendants of Abraham’s son Isaac, from his wife Sarah. The children of Ishmael are Abraham’s Arabic descendants from his handmaid Hagar.

From the House of Israel, the Jewish prophet Moses was born and the Torah was written. Centuries later, from the House of Israel, Jesus – considered by Christians to be their Messiah – was born and the New Testament was written. And then, from the House of Ishmael, the Prophet Muhammad was born and the Koran was written.
“Through the centuries, the three religions of the Abrahamic faith have collided in no place more so than Jerusalem,” the documentary states.
“I always felt that the reconciliation of Jews and Muslims... was the fulfillment of God’s will,” Friedman said.

He noted that this biblical undertone is not the “major part” of the story of the peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco, but “I wanted it to be a part of the story, and I thought TBN would understand in ways more secular producers might not.”
The film itself – around four hours, with each episode lasting about an hour – was not directed at any particular faith, but to everyone. Friedman said he wanted to tell the story of the Abraham Accords through the voices of those who made it happen – from American leaders like former US President Donald Trump to former vice president Mike Pence, and the Israeli, Emirati and other leaders.
“We did not target faith, but we kind of weave in the notion that there is more going on than just a diplomatic breakthrough,” Friedman explained. “The Abraham Accords are an event that can be seen to those who view the world through a biblical lens as the beginning of the actualization of Isaiah’s prophecy.”

TBN PRESIDENT Matt Crouch recalled the day that Friedman called him about the documentary.
“I received an unsolicited phone call one night from former ambassador to Israel David Friedman saying something I’ll never forget. He said, ‘You’ll recall that the sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael reconciled briefly to bury their father – and have been warring ever since. The sons of Abraham are back together for the first time in 3,000 years.”
“Let’s go tell that story!’” Crouch said. “I agreed to co-producing the documentary with him then and there.”
Crouch has had what he described as a “loving and long-tenured” relationship with Israel since he was young, and that his parents were equally attached to the Jewish state. He has been to Israel more than 100 times.
“I was raised among the Evangelical Christian people of America, and we love and support Israel,” he said.
That love, he said, is rooted in verses in the Bible, such as Genesis 12:3, which states, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.” He said he and his broadcasting company also draw inspiration from the book of Psalms.
To make the film, TBN provided an extensive budget and a multiple-person film crew to travel the world – from Florida to Washington, to Jerusalem, Dubai and Casablanca, among other places.
The documentary includes dozens of interviews, from former US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, former Trump senior adviser Jared Kushner, former secretary of state Mike Pompeo, former vice president Mike Pence and Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
It takes viewers back through recent history, the day when the White House recognized the Golan Heights, the Peace for Prosperity conference in Bahrain, the announcement of the Trump peace plan and so much more. Each story is told through interviews between Friedman and the other people who were there with him when it happened.
The film includes riveting music and captures newsreel and secondary footage to help depict what is being described in words.
In addition to its American stations, TBN is broadcasting the documentary on some of its international channels. TBN broadcasts 24 hours a day in 17 languages on 33 different global networks, including several channels in the Middle East.
But Crouch said Friedman was the “key to this project,” bringing both his passion for the subject matter and his connections made during his time as ambassador.
Another two episodes are expected to air in January and February. Eventually, the plan is to do a “mashup” of the four-hour film that will be highlighted sometime in March, Crouch said.
He added that he does not believe the documentary is finished but will be modified as potentially new agreements are signed or success between the peace partners is achieved.
“People around the globe recognize that the Abraham Accords mark a fundamental shift in Arab-Israeli relations, and they will undoubtedly go down in world history as one of the most significant measures ever taken to encourage peace and mutual prosperity in the Middle East,” Crouch said. “I believe our extensive four-part documentary, containing in-depth interviews with the major players, unpacks the challenging and intricate details of this long-awaited, historic agreement that reunites the sons of Abraham.”
If this is the biblical era of peace, will there be another agreement soon?
“We will have to let God answer that question,” Friedman said. “But I believe we have begun a process of creating peace between Israel and the Muslim world and that is a big part of bringing peace to the entire world.”

New York doctor sued for prescribing abortion pills to Texas woman
Filed by Texas attorney general Ken Paxton, the lawsuit alleges Dr Margaret Carpenter prescribed abortion pills to a woman near Dallas in violation of state laws.
Texas has sued a New York doctor for allegedly prescribing abortion pills to a woman near Dallas.
A lawsuit, filed by Texas attorney general Ken Paxton on Thursday, alleges Dr Margaret Carpenter unlawfully prescribed abortion-inducing drugs to the 20-year-old, in violation of the state's laws.
What is Outbrain
While no criminal charges are involved, Mr Paxton said the woman, who was nine weeks pregnant, was taken to hospital in July with "serious complications" after taking the medication.
"In Texas, we treasure the health and lives of mothers and babies, and this is why out-of-state doctors may not illegally and dangerously prescribe abortion-inducing drugs to Texas residents," he said.
Court papers note the woman received two drugs commonly used in abortions for pregnancies up to 10 weeks: mifepristone, which blocks a vital hormone in pregnancy, and misoprostol, which causes contractions, cramping and bleeding in the uterus.
The documents add the state of Texas is seeking up to $250,000 from New York's Dr Carpenter - who is also a co-founder of the Abortion Coalition for Telemedicine.
The lawsuit says the medic's "conduct violates the Texas Health and Safety Code's prohibition on prescribing abortion-inducing drugs via telemedicine". Such prescriptions are made online and over the phone.
Texas bars abortion at all stages of pregnancy, and in 2021 - before the Supreme Court repealed Roe v. Wade, which gave a constitutional right to abortion - passed a law allowing state citizens to sue anyone who provides abortions or assists someone in undergoing the procedure.
State laws also prohibit a physician or medical supplier from providing any abortion-inducing drugs by courier, delivery, or mail service, and require physicians to have a Texas medical license to prescribe to state residents.
