"As usual, thank you for listening to the podcast", you began closing off the recording for you newest episode of your podcast, taking your headphones off once you were done and your editor gave you her thumbs up, "That was really good, Y/N. I think people will enjoy it a lot", she said as you smiled, proud of how far you got. The idea of creating your own podcast while you finished your degree was just something to keep your mind off of school, despite it being about what you studied since it was something you enjoyed, but it had quickly grown to join other people who, like you, enjoyed the topic. You had gathered a small community that you were very grateful for, especially when it allowed to go to bigger events like TedTalks and sit and talk, as well as meeting them.

Checking your phone for your e-mails, you noticed a new one from someone you had never received anything from before, "what is this...?", you muttered under your breath before letting your finger tap the screen to open it, revealing what looked like an invite to an event, looking at the top to see that you had been sent it a few days ago and, scrolling down, finding out that you had to confirm your attendance until that afternoon, "did you get this?", you showed it to your editor, "nope, but I've heard of other people who come here to record that they've been invited too", she smiled. "Are you plann-", she was interrupted by the sound of your phone ringing, an unknown number calling, "yes?", you said, "Hi, this is from Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco. How have you been, Y/N?", a seemingly kind man on the other side of the line, "Hello, I've been good, and you?", you said as you looked at your editor, "sorry to bother you during the day, but we've had some issues with our communication channels and are not receiving the confirmation from the people who are attending, and we just wanted to confirm wether or not you are joining us for the evening", he said as you panicked opened the e-mail again, checking for more details about this event, "Oh, you're also allowed a plus one, I don't think your e-mail said that due to the glitch we had", he offered as you looked at your editor one last time, her showing you a dinner she had with family on that night, "yes, I can confirm my presence. Just me, no plus one", you said as you heard him type, "Good, thank you! Since our communication channels are not working properly, is it okay if, in case of any new information, I contact you through here?", he asked before you confirmed, bidding eachother a good day and goodbye before ending the call, "this is a very surreal thing", you heard your editor said, now propped by your laptop as she look at the e-mail, telling you all about why they had decided to invite you, your contribution to spreading scientific knowledge in a simple way and accessible to everyone bring the number one reason, "who knew, hm? My weird little podcast about academia getting me t-, oh, wait, this is a red carpet?", you looked further, noticing their dress code advice section, "what did you expect from the Fondation? Some burgers and fries?", she teased you, "I thought it was, like, an intimate thing, small thing. If I'm going to this, who else is?", you mused while your editor only snickered.

After having your friend help you pick a dress worthy of the event, you dropped it at the dry cleaners, which is where you found yourself in the morning of the event, ready to pick it up while the lovely lady went to get it outback when a younger employee asked "I'm sorry, but you are Y/N, from the podcast, right?", she asked as you nodded, "I've heard your voice through these so many times I recognised it almost immediately", she said as she pointed to her earbuds, "I'm very happy that you listen to it", you said as you noticed your dress, clean and ironed being set on the counter, "may I ask what this is for?", she said curiously before who you figured was her grandmother set the bill for you too, "dear, that's not nice for the costumers, sorry about my granddaughter", she half scolded her, "no, don't worry. I'm going to an event tonight because of the podcast", you explained as you paid, smiling before leaving the store and bidding goodbye.

Arriving at home, you tried your best to remember and replicate how Pascale taught you to do your hair, the curls coming out looking like you were from a different era, silently praying they would drop while you fid your makeup. You put one the dress and added your accessories before shaking your curls, moving to put on your shoes and coat just in time for the car they had sent to pick you up and go to the event, "is this your first time?", the driver asked, "yes. Do you notice it that much?", you giggled, "not at all. Just I know I would have recognised you otherwise", he explained, "do you know anyone who is going to be there? It is a big help, so I've heard over the years", he offered, "I don't think so", you mused, "I'm not sure who's invited to be honest", you giggled again, nervous that you should have done your research, "usually actresses and actors, singers too usually, people from non profits, other members of TV shows. Oh, and how could I forget, some drivers usually go too", and it hit you. How did it not hit you before? Charles could be there too, and you not seen him in person in the longest time. Last time you saw him was a few months after you broke up, and it pained you to be in the same room as him, and while you did nothing but be polite to eachother, you couldn't deal with that, somehow always managing to avoid any gathering where he would be. Did you watch his races? Yes, every weekend one had been on you'd take your time no watch it, never breaking your promise and supporting him whenever you could, however you could. Knowing how it would bother you stayed out of anything related to his personal life, only knowing little bits you picked up from interviews and, since he was pretty private, there hadn't been anything related to his relationships, so were you about to know something more? Was he bringing a plus one with him? "Don't need to get nervous, dear, from all my years of this, people are usually very friendly and before you know it, you're already friends", he smiled sweetly, oblivious to the actual relationship you were worried about.

A woman dressed in black guided you on what to to once you arrived, telling you when to stop and pose for some pictures, despite your insistence that 'I'm here for my voice, I don't think people will need to see my face really", giggling and comforting you until you felt comfortable enough, "See?! Stunning, chérie", she smiled before her phone beeped, prompting her to tell her colleague, "Charles is arriving just now, could you go to him, please?", before helping you to the other spot where you would do an interview with someone who also had a podcast that, despite being a bigger creator, treated you with the utmost kindness, "thank you so much for taking some time and giving us your story on getting to where you are today", he said as you shook his hand one last time, thanking him before walking back to the carpet, spotting Charles posing too. And then your heart started doing somersaults, almost like it never stopped doing then anyway.

Charles followed the woman in a black suit as she told him where to stand, smiling in almost all the directions someone called him from before he noticed you, sitting in a high chair with a pair of headphones on your head. Were you here? Your podcast was successful, he knew that much since he contributed, but he did not expect you to be here. How long had it been? Two, maybe three years? You had managed to go to his F2 celebration, just as friends, before, as he now recalled, never setting his eyes on you in another form other than pictures on Instagram or your voice from the podcast episodes.

He was about to head to you when a young fan, who happened to be attending with his parents, asked for his autograph and a picture, "whenever we are home, me and mama and papa watch all your races, you're one of Monaco's pride!", the boy who was no older than ten said excitedly, prompting Charles to open his blazer's button before crouching down to pose with him. Getting up and wishing everyone a good night and event, his eyes looked for you in your emerald green dress, now finding a gentleman in the chair you were sitting previously. Heading inside the venue, he greeted some people before he noticed you looking at something on your phone and confirming it on the indicating plaques, looking a but confused before you looked around and your eyes locked in his, "h- Hi, Charles, Hi!", you said as you greeted him, your movement so automatic that you didn't even think about hugging and pressing a kiss on each cheek of your ex-boyfriend, thankful that he seemed to want to do the same, "Hi, Y/N, how are you?", he said as he looked at you properly. And you looked even more beautiful, despite looking like the same girl he had fallen in love with all those years ago."Are you here alone, too?", you said and immediately wanted to take it back, feeling like you had nothing to do with it, "I'm on my own, yes. C'mon, let's go through here", he said as he guided you on the other way you were thinking of going, leading you to the big room where all the tables were and finding out that the table you'd be sitting in was next to his, "if you need anything, call for me, yes?", he said as he looked for reassurance, "you're going to do great, I just know it".

The evening was beautiful, getting the opportunity to listen to all the projects and ideas people were developing and over all having a good time, and while you enjoyed it, you needed to get some air, excusing yourself from the group and heading to one of the outside gardens, a glass in hand as you took in all that had happened for you to get here. You had never dreamt of this opportunity to come from something as simple as you sharing your thoughts outloud, finding people on the receiving end interested in what you had to say, and to be here was something you still couldn't make out, "may I?", you heard a familiar voice you could recognise anywhere, seeing Charles coming to sit next to you on the stone bench, "it's amazing how many inspiring people are here today, no?", he began, really not knowing how to approach you. You were here alone, so it wasn't like he was crossing a line, he hoped, remembering some conversations he heard in the last group gathering where one of your close friends admitted that you were single still, "and somehow I ended up here, too", you mused before looking at him, his eyes never failing to calm you down and rile your heart up at the same time, "of course you did. Your work is amazing, it's only fair they recognised it", he let slip, "how do you know that?", you quirked your brow as you took a sip from your glass, "I listen to it. Every Thursday I go and look for the new episode", he admitted, "I still don't understand half of the things you defend and explain, but you make it so engaging and, and I miss your voice. I miss you", he said as he looked up at the starry sky before he let his hand crawl along the light stone and nudge yours, your pinkies lacing eachother. You looked at him, a small blush on your cheeks, "thank you, I- I watch all your races too, even the ones that are broadcasted at daft o'clock in Europe", you said before sighing "you know why we did it that way it was", you said, remembering the day you and Charles decided it was for the best that you should go your separate ways.

"I love you so much", Charles said as he held your hands in his, "I love you so much and it is why I think we should do this", he reasoned, although the tears in his eyes, matching your own, reflected the genuine hurt you both knew was dawning on each of you, "I never want to be the one making you hurt, not in a short time or not in a long time", you sniffed, squeezing your eyes further to slow down the tears, "I love you with my whole heart and I'd never want you to hurt, either of us to hurt", you finished as you gave him one last hug, relishing in the feeling of having his arms around you, "you'll always have my heart, Y/N Y/L/N", he said kissing the top of your head, "and it will always be yours to keep".

"Was it really though?", he said, snuffling closer to you while still not touching you more than before even though his skin longed to feel yours, "I don't know, Charles, I really don't know", you said. You didn't like to admit it, but every now and again, you would entertain the thought of what could have been if you had stayed together. How your days could have been if you had him to come home to, or having to travel to races to see him, hear his laughs in person instead of through a screen. It would have been like you had predicted, crazy schedules, long periods away from eachother, but the effort to make it work would have been worth it to have him with you. As you were about to say that to him, you heard heels clicking on the floor, "sorry to interrupt, but the fireworks are going to go off now, I thought you might like to see them", one of the ladies that had helped you in the red carpet said as you both got up, "thanks for letting us know, we'll be up shortly", Charles offered before she walked away while you two followed her, "Would you be willing to come to my place tomorrow?", he asked as he finally laced his fingers in yours for a few seconds, parting when you reached the door, "okay", you said before you were ushered to different places in the crowd.

Arriving home later that evening, you were taking all your makeup off when your phone pinged, seeing a text from Charles, surprised that after all these years he, like you, had kept your number, "Even though we did not spend that much time together today, I know for a fact that I missed having you around and being near you. I hope you have a goodnight's rest", could be read on your screen.

"Thank you for coming here. I would've gone to your place but I didn't know if you wanted me there, and besides, I don't want all the attention that it could draw that way around to you", he said nervously, "No need to rub it in that you're more famous than me, Charles", you teased slightly, wanting to clear up the tension in the room that your nerves were not exactly helping, "I mean it. Thank you for agreeing to come and talk", he said before taking a big breath, "yesterday sparked something in me, and I'm not sure it was a spark again moment, I think this has always been here", he admitted, looking qt you in the hopes of getting you to speak about your take on it, "I-, I felt the same", you gulped, "but can we do this? I think so b-", you were interrupted by him, "all those years ago, we said we wanted to focus on our careers, grow and not have to worry about it. And, while I think it could've been good, there's no way to know that the success we have it due to that. Can you imagine having me next to you on your graduation? Signing your contracts? Because every weekend I imagine you sitting in that hospitality, working on your laptop before coming to watch me race and congratulate me, or be the only person in my driver's room to calm me down after a bad race", he admitted, "I know you don't owe me any of that and if this is one sided then I don't want to make you feel guilty about it, but I needed to let you know", he finished as he looked at you. Sighing, you launched your hand to meet his, "I miss you, and I want to have you with me, to get home and see you there, even if it is only every now and then. But I don't want you to feel guilty that you're not here, or that I feel like I'm not enough", you said and he giggled, "Mon ange, you are more than enough. And I'll be the luckiest man alive if you let me have you in my life again. We'll take things slowly, but please, let us go back to how we were", he pleaded as he saw you smile, "mon coeur, we are going to be better than ever".

HAPPY MUNDAY!

Mun~ What got you into writing and what is your favorite part about writing your character?

I'm gonna answer on behalf of all my characters in this one ask, if that's alright!

I think I mentioned this in my discord intro, but I first purposefully wrote something creative when I was six and wanted a better ending to Titanic. A few years later, a local radio station hosted a mother's day contest--best essay on why their mom was great won a gift card to Outback Steakhouse or Red Lobster or one of those restaurants that's not really fancy, but is definitely fancy when you're poor. I wrote in and I won and they read the essay over the air and when I saw my mom crying, I was like, "holy shit, I can make people feel my feelings??" I just never stopped. Creative nonfiction is my true home, but I like it all.

Tbh, all of my characters are a manifestation of my own shit in one way or another, and I love the opportunity to process stuff through them.

Serious favorite thing about writing Bea: she's been a way for me to work through leaving academia/parting ways with a dream.

Faz tempo que eu não escrevo aqui. Mas tem uns dias que eu tô com essa vontade de atualizar tudo o que aconteceu.

Eu fiz aniversário, nunca achei que chegaria nos 28 anos sem te conhecer. É bittersweet esse tipo de sensação, pq ao mesmo tempo eu quero ter todo esse clichê de relacionamento, casamento, família e blá blá blá, mas eu sei que eu tenho tanta coisa pra viver ainda, tanta coisa pra conhecer que parece injusto eu não me permitir viver essa temporada.

Comemorei meus 28 anos com a família (a gente adora aniversários no Outback) e com os amigos no final de semana (eu amo baladas temáticas de festa junina!)

Depois disso entrei de férias, consegui ingressos para ver o Jão de novo com a Alicia, saí de novo com as meninas pra Milo Garagem e descobri que eu estou ficando velha demais para virar a noite em balada, chega 3 horas da manhã, eu quero ir pra casa, tomar banho, dormir na cama, beijar na boca e ter alguém pra fazer cafuné (e diferente do que eu achava inicialmente, não importa o tanto de álcool que eu consumi, eu posso estar o mais bêbada possível, eu ainda vou querer ir para casa, tomar banho e dormir).

Brinquei com as meninas que as suas orações são fortíssimas já que desde o último date (vou chamar ele de agroboy) eu não beijei mais ninguém (e não que o beijo com o agroboy tenha sido taaao bom assim, eu sei que poderia ter feito algo bem melhor).

Eu troquei de academia, estou naquela academia inteligente que realmente é inteligente pq tem uma esteira tão legal que eu não consigo mais fugir do cardio todo dia (além de gente xovem e bonita treinando o que é um big upgrade da academia antiga onde só tinha idosas e gente feia).

Enfim, to aqui pra começar um curso de estudos sobre Umbanda, tem show do Jão essa semana e as férias estão acabando. Mas eu tô indo pra academia e minha bunda está ficando bonita (quem diria que eu iria ter bunda!).

Se cuida, não faça nada que eu não faria.

March 2022 Commissions - Discount Options

It’s almost commission time again; I’m running straight from the last batch into this one, because progress then was super slowed down. Hopefully this time things will go more smoothly and swiftly. Below is the list of Discount Options.

As usual, the way this works is that your request must adhere to the following rules. One, it must be a minimum of 2000 words in length when negotiated. Two, you cannot use multiple characters in the options; there may be some exceptions with a couple of options where I decided to offer multiple characters AS options, but they are the only cases where that is acceptable. You cannot have Nick Wilde meet Pete, for instance. Three, only one person at a time may use any given option; if you see that an option is taken, you’ll need to choose another option. Four, you will only be eligible for the discount if your character is listed, but you are still totally free to make non-discount-related requests. Five, the character you request must have what I consider to be a major role in a non-kink story; for kink-based works, they must be either the predator or the feedee, depending on what type of tale you’re asking for. Stories where the discount applies will get 15% off their purchase. As a reminder, I charge a standard fee of $10 per thousand words (which is the same as saying 1 USD per hundred words, or a penny per word). And now, here’s the list; there are QUITE a lot of options this time, so there should be plenty for you guys to choose from…

Tem certas coisas que eu simplesmente não sou obrigada a lidar

Desde 2016 que essa questão paira sobre as nossas cabeças. Minha mãe tomou uma série de decisões erradas com a melhor das intenções. Bom, de boas intenções o inferno tá cheio.

Os anos foram difíceis, minha mãe na academia tirando as migalhas que podia depois do golpe que levou e meu pai no trabalho de sempre ganhando o mesmo de sempre. Até que em 2017 ele fica doente e é demitido. Ok, agora eu tenho dois pais desempregados e uma academia falida pra sustentar a minha família, nada ok.

Paralelo a tudo isso eu tenho o IF e dele eu tirou pouco pra bancar certos luxos, tipo: comer fora, comprar roupas no brechó, ir ao meu primeiro rock in Rio, levar minha família pra comer fora e ir ao cinema, comprar presentes... Coisas que a minha família não teria ou teria de forma escassa desde de 2016, consegui dar uma segurada na responsabilidade. Mas tem umas coisas que eu simplesmente não sou obrigada a lidar, como: pagar contas! Me preocupar em segurar dinheiro pra se por ventura faltar dinheiro pra internet ou luz, fazer umas compras de fim de semana ou até de semana. Meu dinheiro tinha que ser meu e servir só pra mim, eu que trabalho, não tenho filho pra sustentar, então tudo deveria ser meu e servir pra comprar roupas pra mim. Quem me derá essa fosse a realidade.

Eu tô ciente que rock in Rio, Cinema e roupas são importantes, mas quando tenho que escolher entre passar fome e ver Imagine dragons, Night visions tá disponível no Spotify.

Na semana passada (mar/19) a gente praticamente passou fome, eu fiz oq puder pra fazer render uma bandeja de salsicha, uma de frango,1kg de feijão e arroz, porque nem alho tinha, muito menos cebola. Bebemos chá matte gelado, porque rende e água.

Eu sei que teve uma época que a gente simplesmente não tinha comida em casa, então íamos pra casa da minha avó andando pra poder comer, porque nem a passagem pra dois adultos e duas crianças tínhamos. Foi uma época meio lúdica até, pensei que as caminhas eram caminhadas de família fitness, mas era porque a gente não tinha dinheiro mesmo. Não sei o meu irmão, mas eu praticamente não percebi as situações, meus pais souberam esconder e camuflar, pois crianças simplesmente não precisam lidar com esse tipo de coisa. Saudade dessa época, que faziam questão de me esconder as dificuldades, agora que eu vejo, tenho que lidar. Não posso simplesmente cruzar os braços para minha família e me recusar a pagar 100,00 reais de Sky ou 370,00 pra pagar o cartão de crédito que a minha avó passou pra pagar o curso do meu pai pra ele voltar a trabalhar. Eles sempre dizem que vão me devolver, como eu digo a ele que foi devolver, mas eu nunca mais vou ver esse dinheiro que tava guardando pra levar minha mãe pra ver a banda da infância dela e ver o Imagine D. Eu tenho raiva da burguesia, das meninas bonitas que moram na barra ou na Tijuca ou em copa, que vão a praia e ao cinema. As que compram uma blusinha da c&a de 30 reais, ou gastam dezenas/ centenas de reais com frete desses brechós hipsters de Brasília e São Paulo. Que compram seus frattês, cafés caros, paes de queijo e almoçam em restaurantes. Que vão ao rodízio de sushi e ficam horrorizados quando eu digo que nunca fui ao Outback ou que nunca comprei nada na forever21. É assustador para elas quando eu digo que passagens de avião são absurdamente caras, 100 reais em um sapatinho é absurdo a não ser que seja um tênis ( mas dá pra achar bons temos apartir de 80 porque os meus da Nike foram).

Tenho raiva dessas meninas, mas queria ser uma delas. Uma dondoca que não tem noção do valor do dinheiro, que não sabe quanto de carne ou verdura se compra com 50,00 reais. Quem diz coisas como: "tudo bem dar duzentos reais em uma Melissa, é uma MELISSA NÉ, investimento" ou " 900,00 na meia-entrada do Lolla tá barato você viu o line-up?", " Curso de inglês não é caro, depois você pode fazer um intercâmbio por apenas trocentos mil reais", " se você se apertar um pouco e economizar você também consegue".

Meu anjo, você se refere a investimento na Melissa como se tivesse comprando ações que vão render lucro, mas eu tenho certeza que tu tá por fora das noções básicas de economia. Novecentos reais sustenta uma família é muita falta de noção gastar tudo isso por um dia pra fazer sessão de fotos pro seu insta de 200 seguidores. Eu nunca vou precisar de curso de inglês porque não vou falar em inglês com ninguém, moro no Brasil e não tenho dinheiro nem pra passagem pra qualquer lugar de língua inglesa. Eu não tenho mais onde apertar pra segurar dinheiro nenhum porque eu simplesmente não tenho 1 mísero real para ser economizado. Mas eu queria ser você, com todas as forças do meu ser eu queria ser uma burguesa da zona norte / sul/ barra. Ver minha família saudável, não ter que ver minha mãe chorando no café da manhã porque não dinheiro pro meu irmão ir pra faculdade ou pra me dar de presente pra comer um bolinho ou comprar um pirulito. Escovar os dentes com bicarbonato, passar pomada como desodorante e jogar um perfume dos que eu ganhei no meu aniversário de 15 anos pra dar um cheiro bom.

Essas coisas parecem pesadas quando se lê ou escreve, mas são o meu dia-a-dia e eu vivo naturalmente essas situações. Essa é a minha vida, ela nem é tão ruim, tem gente BEM pior.

Character Information

Jake Rogers by no means lives a normal life, but his upbringing was pretty normal, well, if basically living out in the desert was normal for someone. Born in Alice Springs in the heart of the Outback in Australia, Jake got introduced to all sorts of creatures at a young age. He'd wander off and look a poisonous snake dead in the eye without even blinking. Of course, he knew that there were other things out there to really be concerned about. Way out where people thought they were just mirages, magical creatures would nest in their homes in dunes and scrub brush.

Jake knew that he'd eventually have to make something of himself and his knowledge. So he went to pursue a degree in Adelaide. Biggest city he'd ever seen in his life with no real wildlife around except for miles outside of it. Flinders University allowed him to follow his research path of magizoology and not just regular zoology. He'd eventually transfer to the University of Auckland and gain a more focused perspective, rather than a few electives delving into the subject. Through his research in New Zealand discovering and tracking the species of magical creatures in specific regional areas, he grew a bit away from academia, wanting to put more effort into research and understanding new creatures than getting a fancy piece of paper telling people he had a PhD in magizoology.

He began a freelance career as a consultant on various disappearance cases that came up in the Outback. If an animal was the alleged cause, Jake could find it. And that's how he ran into Miss Bianca.  They thought a magical creature was involved in their case and were desperately in need of a guide to get them to a possible nesting sight safely, so Jake was happy to oblige.

After that the RAS called on him many times, all across the words in fact, because of his animal and magic creature tracking abilities. It gave him more to research, more to explore, and much more danger, which, well isn't that what life's about? He ended up in Swynlake soon after.

Jake hadn't had meeting Alana Triton in his plans once he got to town, but through their many trials and ups and downs, they've finally settled down and formed a home. A couple years ago, Bianca was gone. Things were bittersweet. He gained a romantic partner, but ended up losing his greatest friend. He was sent out on assignment to Australia after he graduated with his PhD in magizoology (yes, he eventually got that fancy piece of paper).

Now Jake returns to Swynlake to pick his life back up, having gained new perspectives and had time to process things in a different setting. He believes he's finally caught a scent, followed its footprints and plans on tracking down his life.

Overwatch: My Hero Academia AU

Overwatch (Organization): Once a proud agency of numerous heroes from around the world, a political upheaval forced most of them to quit or seek their heroics elsewhere. Currently disbanded through legal ruling of the United Nations (where it was formed from), there are still several heroes with the hopes and willpower to bring it back, especially now that Talon continues to grow stronger.

Blackwatch: A sub-unit of special-ops heroes to deal with the missions that Overwatch couldn’t, especially under the constant watch of political and civilian critiques alike. Without the same red tape, Blackwatch was able to accomplish many specialized missions with high-priority villains and organizations, but it also lead to the group’s downfall when its existence was uncovered and threw the trust of the people into chaos. In order to curtail the backlash, Overwatch (and subsequently, Blackwatch) was disbanded.

Talon (Organization): A growing group of villains that very few people know much about. Considered a terrorist group of variable cohesiveness around the globe, little is known about their true intentions, their headquarters, or who is even a part of their league. They have grown in number and frequency of attacks after Overwatch’s disbandment, despite the attempt to put other agencies and heroes in the spotlight to take Overwatch’s place.

Doomfist: Minor strength-enhancing quirk, giving him extreme power in close combat situations. Despite losing an arm early in his life, Akande had the wealth and intelligence to help him have a replacement prosthetic that could equal the strength he had before the incident. Combined with several pieces of equipment to augment his strength, speed and tactical ability, he is someone to be feared--especially since he works for Talon.

Genji + Hanzo: Their quirk is based off of the ability to control familial-like spirits, or (as some believe) the ability to create solid illusions to instill their will on (similar to being physical psychics). It is unknown truly which is true, as the Shimadas themselves do not know.

McCree:  Provided that he is able to focus well enough, Jesse has the ability to quick-shoot anyone in his line of sight with perfect accuracy in just under a second. Called ‘Deadeye’, this ability is extremely draining, and requires an intense concentration to pull off, especially with crowds of people.

Pharah: Though quirk-less, Fareeha is a peerless strategist in her squad, as a member of the Helix Security company. She relies on her equipment and personal training, but can accomplish many amazing feats that some people don’t realize she lacks a quirk.

Reaper: Can manipulate his body like a living shadow, allowing him to be the commander of the covert Blackwatch organization in it’s hayday. After the disbandment of Overwatch and the incident at the Zurich HQ, an unknown incident caused a mutation in his quirk, leaving him nearly formless, constantly shifting from human to shadow, though it is hard to keep a completely human form if he is stressed or aggravated. Due to this, he endures much chronic pain and fatigue.

Soldier: 76: Very similar to McCree, his quirk is based on taking down enemies as long as they are in his line of sight. Due to his quirk being given to him through very legally-shakey experimentation before joining the original Overwatch Strike Team. He can accurately shoot at anyone within his line of sight, but unlike McCree, he can only take down one person at a time instead of multiple all at once. He can do this in bursts of ten to thirty second intervals, but the fatigue afterwards multiplies the longer he does so.

Sombra: She has a natural, biological ability to interface with any computer system. Due to years of self-teaching, she has honed this ability to become an absolutely peerless hacker and pursuer of knowledge on anyone. She can activate this quirk at anytime, though prolonged use can render her fatigued and over-extension could even run the risk of the computer system she’s hacking into attacking her.

Tracer: Through life, Tracer endured a very touchy, powerful miniature time-traveling quirk, though it only allowed her short dashes into the future, up to about 10 seconds forward at a time. To onlookers, it would appear that she can zip and dash around with intense speed. As a young adult, she swore to never use the quirk due to her inability to control it properly, leaving her to dash through time almost constantly from stress or emotional turmoil. It was the work of Winston who eventually developed a piece of equipment to give her a great control over it.

Bastion: Of unknown origin, Bastion is an omnic model of the long-forgotten Omnic crisis.

Junkrat: Quirkless, but an immense chemical intelligence and a hearty level of stubbornness to physical pain and other forms of challenges. He often claims that his pyrotechnics ability could be considered a quirk. Or his lack of self-preservation.

Mei: She has a quirk that allows her to manipulate the water-vapor in the air, turning it into ice. She is also, due to this quirk, extremely tolerant of colder temperatures.

Torbjörn: Quirkless, but carries a massive talent in creating equipment, capture devices, armor and thensome. He is considered one of the top creators of support equipment for many of the greatest heroes.

Widowmaker: Forcibly given a quirk through Talon that allows her to suppress almost all of her bodily functions, such as a heartbeat, to allow her greater advantage as both an assassin and sniper. Little is known if this quirk also suppressed her as a person, or if a quirk of another is in effect over her.

D.Va: Quirkless. A mecha-pilot in the South Korean military forces, she does have a combat ability that rivals those around her, particularly her extensive knowledge of tactics and battle.

Orisa: A creation of Efi Odelade in order to protect her home city of Numbani from Doomfist or other nefarious villains. Though she lacks a quirk due to her robotic heritage, her abilities are inspired by several quirks of heroes that Efi herself looked up to.

Reinhardt: A tank of human proportions--he is able to temporarily harden his skin to a steel-like composition, turning himself into a living shield for short periods of time. This ability was relatively useful during his time in the Crusadors, but became less useful when he began relying on his hard-light shield and armor to protect his comrades and friends.

Roadhog: His quirk lies in both his size and strength, which lets him tower over those around him. It’s unknown however if this quirk is from birth, or was mutated from the events that took place in Australia when a local Omnium was destroyed, sending radiation across the entirety of the Outback.

Winston: It is uncommon for animals to be born with quirks, but Winston is one of the exceptions--his intelligence and strength is almost unparalleled, leaving him to be a prominent figure within Overwatch and the creator of the equipment that allows Tracer a fine-tuned control of her time-blinking ability.

Zarya: It is unknown if she is quirkless or has one in extreme strength alone, though nobody would think twice to deny that she is nevertheless an accomplished athlete and fighter for her country. Personally, Zarya does not see herself in having a quirk, since her strength is not entirely out of range of human ability (mostly; many disagree with her).

Ana: Quirkless, but a master sniper and former leader of Overwatch.

Lúcio: His abilities lie in healing and energizing--depending on his focus, he can either heal or energize everyone who is close to him, within 1-2 meters of his physical body. The healing is based in the quickening of the natural process, fast enough that minor wounds can be completely healed-over within several minutes of close physical contact.

Mercy: Her quirk is like a mobile resuscitation device, quickened and controlled moreso with the caduceus staff of her own invention. Though she cannot heal those who have no brain function, she can bring back even the most injured of people if she is able to sacrifice enough energy and focus to do so. Much of her power lies instead in her inventions and medical knowledge.

Symmetra: Can form hard-light constructs around her body without the aid of any machines or equipment, and extend these constructs as far as her body can handle--the father and bigger the construct, the more energy it takes to do so. Though she was at first only able to create baseball sized objects, she can now easily create short bridges across buildings, shields to others close by her, and thensome.

Zenyatta: Can control several metallic orbs of his own creation. Though they inherently do not have any power or ability on their own, Zenyatta is able to imbue either pain or healing onto them, and then launch them either at an ally or enemy to do the effect intended. These orbs cannot remain out of his sight for more than three seconds before they will return to him, regardless of what they were doing before. He cannot send more than 2-3 orbs out at a time, as they drain him quickly and lead to fatigue.
