🦈Here’s the lineup for the redesigns I did for the Howl’s Moving Castle/Fran Bow au! I’m calling it Palontras’ Moving Castle! Palontras replaces Howl, Itward replaces Sophie, Fran replaces Markl, Remor replaces the Witch of the Waste and Mr. Midnight replaces Heen! The story is a little different to fit them a little more! I’m doing some screencap redraws, and I’ll post them when I’m done!

ITWARD’S HUMAN DESIGN WAS INSPIRED BY @a-not-so-serious-franbow-askblog ‘s human version of Itward! I really liked the skeleton-shaped vitiligo! You should check them out their stuff is so cute!

Hi, sorry to bother you, I'm new in this fandom and I feel like you're kind of a big figure in here, so I wanted to know if you read fanfics and, if so, if you had any rec for me? I can't say I like the usual take on Chuuya or Dazai or their relationship in most fanfictions, making of Dazai an emotionless bully and Chuuya an angry spazz with anger management issues and absolutely no brains.

Your takes on the character seems to me closer to actual canon, and so I figured you'd probably know of fics I would actually enjoy.

(If you do, then to be more specific, I'd rather avoid fics with no powers/modern aus and if explicit, then no bottom chuuya, please? For some reasons, bottom Chuuya writers always make him to be some dainty little princess and Dazai a daddy dom which is. Hilarious. Holy fuck.

Tbh i don't really remember many fics, but for some reason i have saved a bunch of them by halfbloom (diphylleias) so i would only guess my past (months ago) self thought the writer was good real good. I dont remember most of these, but i must say i regulary reread one of their fics, "Castles out of couches" (this is a oneshot consisting of??? A lot of very short stories about skk living together) (im a sucker for domestic skk that r still silly and bickering for fun) (and this fanfic is exactly that) (instead of suddenly very cutesy and petnames using couple that some ppl write) (castles out of couches makes me giggle like a teenage girl) (i drew some old arts based on this one, even)

So i would start from there and then check other halfbloom works with tags u r interested in! (I obv skipped what i didn't wanna read right) (tho i think they mostly write skk talking things thru, which is cool)) (there may be nsfw in some ig?? But it's bearable amounts + none of that annoying uwu chuuya daddy dazai)

So. As someone who backed Cinderella's Castle and put in more than 800 dollars to the project here are my three more critical comments about the show that was otherwise absolutely amazing, and I loved every minute of.

The music overpowered the singing, when you have an ensemble of 10 they do not have the power of a huge ensemble and thus it made it hard to hear the singers, whether it was a solo or ensemble piece. The sound mixing for mics when sinigng was also all over the place and not balanced well with others on stage or with the band.

Jeff is amazing, but when he does his falsetto he forgets how to enunciate it feels thus making it incredibly hard to know what he is saying. He also becomes far more pitchy. His normal register is gorgeous and I wish he used it more and I think he could have done so easily.

the troll puppets felt unfinished. They were really the only thing that felt unfinished. I was expecting more in their bodies, at least like black fabric if anything.

Those were my three real critiques, everything else I have to say about the show is only praise as it was very very good.

Do you think we'll be exploring the bunker?

not really! i mentioned this in a previous post but i strongly believe the bunker is a past location rather than one that has any present relevance. the bunker just doesn't have anything – at least not right now – about it that feels emotionally resonant with any character besides kris, and i feel that any endgame locations (ie. ch6 or ch7) need to have a bit more emotional resonance to the characters involved. i don't think it's completely off the table as an explorable location, mind, but it doesn't stick out to me as one right now.

ooc: what if... instead of like the immediate return of ella (not that the show implies it was an immediate return or not), it was like a few years... and she returned when the realm needed her most a la king arthur... so that got me thinking of tadius in hiding, and taking up residence in her old home which was now truly forgotten as like the trolls did things to ensure it would be forgotten...

we are winning at levels never before thought possible it seems, after making the wrong choice of becoming an ada wong fan & having to subsist off the crumbs of characterization given to me in in-game files, supplemental material & scant lines of dialog it seems capcom is truly going to give me everything i have ever wanted :

probably giving ada the best DLC in the franchise, a meaningful relationship with a character that isn't leon that seems to take precedent in her story over her few chance encounters with leon in RE4R ( i have a feeling her & luis' history gives their dynamic far more meaning than his little rollercoaster ride with leon ), cool sci-fi contacts replacing the glasses she never really used in the original, integrating her grapple hook in her combat when it was sadly only ever used for traversal, actual content specifically designed for her campaign & not just reused arenas from the main game ( some of these are from the original carried over to ada but i think her performing the coolest thing leon does in the original, dodging the lasers, is sick ), finally positioning wesker as an antagonist in ada's story directly rather than him hanging over her like a school headmaster trying to play mindgames .

it's honestly so personally rewarding to see capcom go to such lengths for a character they have otherwise neglected, even in a game like re6 where she carries the emotional core of the story ( in specific her developing relationship with carla as she learns she is more than just some lab-made doppelganger, which was sadly undercooked - like most of the game, despite the explosions )
