★ Main Story | Act 13 - Budding Spring | Chapter 4 - Newborn Fleur Award
Chairman: “We would like to now begin the New Fleur Award Board of Directors press conference. Thank you for taking the time to join us.”
Chairman: “To start, board members Yukio Tachibana and Reni Kamkizaka will talk about the policies of the New Fleur Award.”
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Sakuya: What kind of policies do you think they’re gonna announce?
Izumi: I didn’t look into any of the details, so I have no idea.
Sakyo: Maybe something regarding the selection process will be different from the Fleur Award in the past.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Yukio: “New Fleur Award Board of Directors board member, Yukio Tachibana. Thank you for your time.”
Yukio: “I would like to explain to you more about the New Fleur Award.”
Yukio: “First, one major change to the New Fleur Award’s selection process will be the introduction of a ranking system.”
Yukio: “The current method of selecting nominees via the choice of the Board of Directors will be abolished, and all theater companies that enter will be able to participate.”
Yukio: “The ranking positions will go up and down in accordance with the accumulation of two different types of points.”
Yukio: “Theater Votes, which will be cast by audience members who go to see plays in person at a theater, and SNS Votes, which will be cast by audience members who watch via live stream.”
Yukio: “For the sake of fairness, Theater Votes will be worth more points than SNS Votes, which are easier to count.”
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Izumi: WHAT!?
Sakyo: A ranking system, huh… audience ratings will be more important than ever now.
Homare: In addition to that, it will require audience members to vote.
Tenma: So whoever’s got the crazier fans has an advantage, huh?
Banri: And it ain’t just about the SNS Votes either, right?
Itaru: If you’ve got good social networking skills, you could get trending and snag all the votes in one go.
Juza: So what you’re sayin’ is that we’re gonna have to fight for ‘em like we’ve never fought before…
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Yukio: “It will be held once every two years.”
Yukio: “The first year will be divided into four periods, or quarters. The rankings will be tabulated every quarter in order to determine the top ten theater troupes.”
Yukio: “In the second year, the top ten troupes will compete in the finals and the winner will be awarded the New Fleur Award.”
Yukio: “The bonus prize is still ten million yen, as it always has been.”
Yukio: “The venue will be a brand new theater that is currently under construction. More of the details will be announced at a later date.”
Yukio: “Full transparency was of the utmost importance regarding this change.”
Yukio: “The winner of the New Fleur Award will not be selected by some random board members, but will be voted on by a larger audience.”
Yukio: “Each and every theater company will have a fair and equal chance to win the Fleur Award.”
Yukio: “The purpose of this is to bring life to the entirety of the world of theater by putting both old and new theater companies on a level playing field, and by encouraging a larger audience to participate.”
Yukio: “By introducing a ranking system, a wide variety of people will be involved in the selection process for the New Fleur Award.”
Yukio: “While we’ve increased our transparency, there may be some forms of unfairness that we’ve never encountered before.”
Yukio: “As the Board of Directors, we intend to take each of these instances seriously if they are to arise.”
Yukio: “While being exposed to criticism and the public opinion may make you feel anxious, and you may fail…”
Yukio: “We want to create a whole new Fleur Award with all of the people involved in theater.”
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Izumi: Dad really has changed…
Sakyo: In a way, it’s the Yukio-san thing to do. He’s demolished the entire Fleur Award system and rebuilt it from the ground up.
Tasuku: Up until now, each theater company has been ranked based on how long they’ve been active and how recognizable their name is, but that’s finally changing.
Chikage: With past Fleur Awards, we all sort of had some idea of what theater companies were likely to win, but from now on, it’ll be much more unpredictable.
Itaru: Plus any number of new theater companies can join the fight.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Reni: “To continue, I will now present the detailed schedule.”
Reni: “Entries for the Fleur Cup, which will determine who will be in the running for the New Fleur Award, will open at the end of the press conference being held today.”
Reni: “There will also be a pre-voting period to allow people to get an understanding of the Fleur Cup system.”
Reni: “The pre-voting period will begin tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. Only SNS Votes will be accepted during this time, and the rankings will be announced a week later.”
Reni: “Now, please note that this pre-voting period is only a trial period to allow everyone to become acquainted with the process of the Fleur Cup.”
Reni: “The ranking results from this will have no effect on the final selection of the Fleur Cup in any capacity.”
Reni: “The final selection will begin at 7:00 a.m. on the day following the end of the pre-voting period. From that point on, the two types of votes will be available: Theater Votes and SNS Votes.”
Reni: “Thereafter, the rankings will be announced every three months. After a year has passed, the top ten troupes will be selected to participate in the finals.”
Reni: “More details regarding the finals will be announced at a later date--.”
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Manager: W-W-W-What are we going to do!? We need to enter as soon as possible…!
Manager: Where’s the entry form? I’ll have to line up outside the Board of Directors’ office first thing in the morning…
Itaru: Who even accepts written applications anymore?
Chikage: They just announced the Fleur Cup website. It seems like entries will be sent there after filling out the required information.
Sakuya: And then the rankings will be announced a week later…?
Tsuzuru: So the current place of the troupe will be announced outright, huh…
Banri: It’s interestin’, ain’t it? I’m lookin’ forward to seein’ where the other troupes place.
Sakyo: The press conference as a whole seems to be getting a lot of attention. The voting turnout itself could be significant.
Citron: There is no need to worry! Our fans will surely vote for us!
Yuki: Letting just any theater company participate me~ans that people who created a theater company on nothing but a whim can participate too.
Tasuku: So there’s no question of activity or personal history, got it.
Kazunari: Maybe if we can get some attention, we can get to the top of the rankings.
Tsumugi: But this pre-ranking won’t affect the final selection, and even if it did, it would probably only be temporary, right?
Homare: However, when it comes to rankings, people are going to be made uneasy, no matter the outcome.
Izumi: We’re never going to know what the results are if we don’t enter, so let’s just start with that!
Omi: Right. The rice is just about done, so why don’t we have dinner now?
Kumon: Yeah~!
*Doorbell rings*
Izumi: ?
Manager: Yes, ye~s. Who is it~?
*Door opens*
Izumi: Who could it be at this hour?
*Door slams*
Manager: Awahwahwah! Everyone, we’ve got some very important guests…!
Izumi: Huh?
Yukio: Good evening.
Reni: Sorry to bother you at this hour. We’ll be on our way soon.
Izumi: Dad and Kamikizaka-san!?
Misumi: It’s like you came outta the TV~.
Yukio: The press conference was being held at a venue nearby, so we thought we’d drop by.
Yukio: After all, I won’t be able to show my face around here so easily in a short while.
Izumi: Huh?
Reni: In addition to this being his own former theater company, his daughter is now the one in charge of it. You’d likely be suspected of collusion.
Izumi: I see…
Sakyo: You really are serious about changing both the Fleur Award and its Board of Directors, huh?
Yukio: I am. With this, no one should have to grieve anymore. I want the future of the theater world to be brighter.
Itaru: Well, but it’s still getting darker in other ways.
Muku: Rankings… will it really be okay… what if we suddenly start getting backlash and get canceled on social media and no one votes for us…
Kumon: Or like, what if there’s a system error and only MANKAI Company’s votes are deemed invalid…!
Juza: All we can do is shut our mouths and wait to be sentenced.
Azuma: Fufu, you’re saying we’re going to be sentenced as if we’re criminals.
Tenma: You’re all overthinking, nothing’s set in stone yet. Jeez.

A3! Outing Event Translation - A Love Song Dedicated to You (5/11)
*Please read disclaimer on blog; default name set as Izumi
---
Izumi: (It’s about time for the Summer-Autumn troupe live meeting. I gotta head to the rehearsal room.) (There’s also the Spring-Winter troupe meeting tonight… Looks like today’s going to be another busy day.)
-pause-
Taichi: Give us a bang pose, Kazu-kun~!
Kazunari: Here comes! BAN ☆
Kumon: Kyah~!
Omi: Looking good.
Misumi: Alright, next is this uchiwa! Banri~! Do a finger heart~!
Banri: If that’s what you want… here
Muku: !? Hawawawa…!
Taichi: A finger heart and wink combo move…!?
Kazunari: Settzer’s fanservice is so high level, I can’t even! It totally shoots through your heart!
Izumi: That’s… the uchiwa that Taichi-kun made for his previous fanservice research, right?
Omi: Yeah. Everyone was just using it while practicing their fanservice.
Yuki: More like playing fanservice rather than practicing it.
Sakyo: Oi, Director’s here. Let’s get the meeting started.
Juza: Right.
Izumi: Okay, shall we discuss Summer-Autumn troupe’s performance for the concert now?
Taichi: Here, hereee! If we’re talking about a Summer-Autumn troupe performance, then I think it’s gotta have action!
Tenma: That would be eye-catching and make a great show.
Juza: Do you mean we’ll include action in our dance?
Misumi: Like a triangle backflip~?
Kumon: Only you’d be able to do that, Sumi-san!
Azami: Think about the geezer’s waist, will you?
Sakyo: …Oi.
Tenma: Call and responses are exciting too. I’d like to do one.
Kumon: Yeah, yeah! I wanna see Autumn troupe stirring things up to Summer troupe’s song!
Yuki: That’s bound to be a public hazard.
Izumi: Ahahaha…
-pause-
Sakuya: What should we do about the Spring-Winter troupe concert performance?
Homare: How about unveiling an original song based off a poem written by yours truly?
Hisoka: …How about no.
Homare: And why is that!
Chikage: Sounds like that would be an artistic performance.
Tasuku: It’d be way too unique that the fans won’t be able to keep up.
Azuma: Spring troupe and Winter troupe both danced at our last live, didn’t we?
Tsumgi: Oh, right. So it might feel fresh and interesting if we incorporated some slightly different elements this time.
Tsuzuru: Good point…
Citron: Then how about mic stands?
Masumi: Mic stands?
Citron: It’ll look really cool if we used them while dancing or did other types of performances!
Guy: So you mean a stage utilizing props?
Izumi: I see. That would also match the Spring-Winter troupe vibe, so I think that might work.
Tsuzuru: Citron-san has a decent idea for once…
Citron: We’ll use our magnificent mic handling to compress the fans!*
Itaru: It’s impress, not compress.
Tsuzuru: Let’s keep our fans 3D, thanks.
Izumi: Alright then, let’s finish today’s meeting around here.
Itaru: GJ, GJ.
Izumi: I’m sort of running all over the place right now, so I might not be present at all the rehearsals…
Homare; Not a problem. Just leave it to us!
Citron: We’ll put on a performance that will surprise you too, Director!
Izumi: Fufu. How reliable.
Tsumugi: We have to put a lot of thought into our dance moves too.
Tasuku: Yeah. We’ll need a good amount of practice.
Hisoka: Sakuya, Itaru. I’ll accompany you guys if you’re gonna do special training.
Sakuya: Thank you very much!
Itaru: I seriously owe you my life… please do.
Izumi: (I’m sure the Summer-Autumn and Spring-Winter performances will be great. I can’t wait for the concert already!)
Masumi: …Director.
Izumi: Masumi-kun.
Masumi: I’m glad we get to talk after so long.
Izumi: Yeah. We didn’t really get the chance to talk properly since I was so busy, huh?
Masumi: I was about to die from a lack of you.
Izumi: Ahaha, you’re exaggerating. —Oh, that reminds me! Thanks for telling me about that curry bread shop the other day. It looked really tasty!
Masumi: I’m glad. I thought you’d say so.
Izumi: You know me well, Masumi-kun! It might be hard while we’re preparing for the concert… But I’ll try to find some time to drop by.
Masumi: If you do, I’ll go with you.
Izumi: Of course! I’ll contact you when the time comes.
Masumi: Sure. …It’s a promise.
---
*Citron originally says “抜刀” (battou: draw a sword), which Itaru corrects as “圧倒” (attou: impress/overwhelm). Tsuzuru originally says you’re not allowed to take out a sword, but I changed it completely to fit.

Short Term Part Time Job Interview /2
Summary: With the influx of new students, Guy’s bar has seen an unusual amount of reservations. Guy realises that he will need some extra help so he decides to interview some members of Mankai to work at his bar..
Hisoka
So then, show us your special skill.
Taichi
What? You want us to show you?
Hisoka
Yes. Show us.
Tsuzuru
Yeah well.. My special skill is household chores which is ummm,m not really something I can show at an interview.
Hisoka
Alright then, you can get a pass.
Guy
Yes. I am sure we all are familiar with Minagi’s efficiency with household chores.
Izumi
Alright, next..
Misumi
Okayyy!! My skill is parkour! I can’t really show you all my skills here, but I can do a back handspring with a back flip!
Taichi
My skill is “ultra yoyo”, but I didn’t know we were going to have to show our skill so I didn’t bring my yoyo with me..
Hisoka
I considered that and I brought a yoyo from the warehouse. Here, use this.
Taichi
Wow you really prepared everything, Hisoka! Thank youu’ssu!
Homare
My skill is tongue twisters, let me demonstrate!
“A big black bug, bled black blood”, “How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?”
Izumi
(… Uhhh what is happening, what kind of interview is this? I wanna know where Hisoka was going with this idea..)
Guy
Now let’s move onto the practical skill portion of the interview. Please demonstrate how you would walk with either three or four plates at once.
Taichi
Ohh, some practical skills’ssu!
Tsuzuru
Alright then, I can walk with three plates.
.. Hmm, I think I could handle one more.
Misumi
Lemme try with four!
Yeaaahh! Look I can walk and balance them on my head!
Taichi
For me I’ll do three.
Oh, look I did it! I think with some practice I could do four!
Homare
Instead of showing off how many I can balance, let me show you how elegantly I can do it. Like a river flows through a forest, I make my way through the throngs of hungry customers!
Hisoka
...... It looks like everyone can do it.
Guy
That is it for today, I am ending this interview here. We will announce the results in the coming days.
Interviewees
Thank you so much!
Guy
So then, now it is time to consider each of the candidates and make a decision.. What do you think, Hisoka?
Hisoka
Everyone seemed pretty good from what we saw, I don’t think it matters who we choose.
Izumi
Actually, I wanna ask why you asked everyone to show off their special skill.
Hisoka
It’s because in some interviews the interviewers ask about each candidates’ special skill.
But I thought it would be better to ask our candidates to show their skill rather than just tell us.
Izumi
I understand why you wanted to ask but..
Guy
We got to see some interesting things today.
Hisoka
Hmm we should choose two people.. Hmm. Zzz..
Izumi
Well I am just here as a tie breaking in case you and Guy have differing— oh, oh no, Hisoka fell asleep.
What should we do?
Guy
Just as Mikage said, everyone did pretty well in the interview.. After hearing each of the candidates’ reasons for applying and seeing their skills I find it difficult to make a clear choice.
Option
What part of each candidate stuck out to you?
Yeah, I agree.
Izumi
Option: What part of each candidate stuck out to you?
Guy
Hmm, yes we should consider each person’s strong point..
Minagi said he was good at household chores so I think he would work best tidying up the floor space or the kitchen area.
For Nanao, when he was telling us the reason he applied I couldn’t help but notice his radiant smile. I think he could really brighten up the atmosphere in the bar.
Ikaruga was very skilled at handling all those plates. I also felt touched when he said he wanted to help me out.
Lastly, Arisugawa.. Well, out of everyone I think he is the one who knows the most about my bar. His movements are indeed beautiful, I think he would really suit the aesthetic of my bar.
Izumi
(Guy is really taking this interview seriously.)
END OPTION
Izumi
Option: Yeah, I agree. I can’t think of who best to choose either.
Guy
Seems like we all feel the same way.
Izumi
Despite everyone’s different reasons for applying, I think they are all would be equally dedicated to the position if chosen.
Guy
Yes, I was thinking the same. Even when it came to balancing plates, it seemed like everyone was around the same level.
Izumi
Yeah. I am sure everyone will be alright with whatever the results are too.
Guy
Hmm, yes..
END OPTION
Izumi
Well then, what’s your decision?
Guy
.. Hmm I think I will hire everyone.
Izumi
HUH!? B-but didn’t you say that you couldn’t hire everyone??
Guy
I was thinking of implementing a shift system so I could have everyone working at different times to avoid overcrowding.
Izumi
(Huuhhh!? Wait then what was the point of this interview..?
.. Uhh well I guess it’s his decision how many people he wants.)
I am sure everyone will be happy to hear that they all got the job!
Guy
I think so.
Izumi
I wish you and everyone else luck next week. I know you are going to be really busy.
If you guys need any snacks or if there are any small tasks I can help with, I would be glad to lend a hand!
Guy
Understood, thank you director.

Translation: Winter 7th Play [Hotel Compass] Epilogue [A Parting Gift from the Trip]
Translation under the cut!
Kazuemon Fuwa: “I’ve been able to triumph for this much of my life. I have no regrets.”
Kazuemon Fuwa: “Urgh...!”
Kuranosuke Ōishi: “I have finally achieved what I have been wanting to do... All, live in good health.”
Kuranosuke Ōishi: “...!”
Chikara Ōishi: “...It is dawn.”
Chikara Ōishi: “I thought there would be nothing left to discuss, but...”
Chikara Ōishi: “Ku...!”
Audience Member A: Syu-san’s Chikara was so good today, too~.
Audience Member B: I love this performance. It’s one they started doing after Syu-san took over the troupe.
Izumi: That last scene was amazing!
Azuma: The deaths of the ronin were almost bloodcurdling.
Homare: Umu... it was also artistic.
Tasuku: We still can’t bring out that level of intensity.
Guy: It’s different from MANKAI Company’s plays, so I can learn from it.
Tsumugi: We still have a lot of work to do, don’t we.
Hisoka: ...There are a lot of female audience members.
Tsumugi: Oh, you’re right.
Izumi: Syu-san and the rest of the actors are very admirable, and I totally understand getting obsessed with them!
Azuma: Oya oya, you definitely can’t tell Masumi that.
Tasuku: He’ll never stop talking about how he’ll join this troupe instead.
Syu: Yo, so you were here.
Izumi: Ah, Syu-san—
Audience Member A: Kya!!
Audience Member B: Syu-san!!
Izumi: (As expected of him, he’s so popular!)
Syu: ...Let’s move.
Izumi: G-good idea.
Syu: Hm, so you decided on a name.
Guy: Thanks to you.
Guy: This is an original cocktail with the same name as the store. I’ll give a glass for free as thanks.
Syu: Isn’t the alcohol content too high for a signature? Well, the taste isn’t bad.
Azuma: Hey, there’s something I was wondering about...
Azuma: What’s the “something worth inheriting” that you found in your current troupe? You talked about it when we were at the bar last.
Syu: Ah, that...
Azuma: I won’t force you to tell me.
Syu: ...Well, it’s fine. I’ll tell you as thanks for the cocktail.
After my father died, I dropped by my house for the first time in a while.
I thought it would be a completely unfamiliar place, but the second I walked in, I was sucked straight back into my past.
The seat my father would always sit at was empty, and when I thought about how it would stay that way forever, an indescribable emotion consumed me.
My father was always writing down critiques for actors and adding fixes to the script in that seat.
Though he would usually scowl and glare down at his script.
Even then, when an actor would call out to him, he would always respond in a friendly tone.
He was the type of person to always be completely absorbed in the play.
And you’re telling me to fill his shoes? It’s a joke you can’t even laugh at.
“Syu-san.”
The one who called out to me was my father’s longtime assistant.
He’s a mysterious man, but sensible, and his love of theater is what caused him to get along well with my father.
“Hey, thanks for taking care of my father.”
”Can you take a look at this for me? It’s some new notes.”
He gave me some notes after saying that.
It even details what actors to aim to have in roles.
“It has your name in it too, Syu-san.”
Looking through it thinking that the only reason he would cast his son who left home would be the lack of those who could play female roles, I found that I had been casted as a male role.
The roles my father had cast me as up to that point had all been female.
Why now— even though I wondered, there was no answer coming back to me.
Azuma: Was that show...
Syu: Ah, it's Chūshinugura, which you saw today. Even though it isn’t Chūshinugura season now.
Syu: Chikara’s a young 16 year old boy, my father was being unreasonable when he cast it.
Syu: But if I didn’t return to the troupe then— If I wasn’t shown those notes, I wouldn’t be who I am today.
Syu: It’s just that to move forward, you gotta move back sometimes.
Izumi: (Life really is weird. It changes so dramatically because of such tiny things.)
Syu: And how was it for you?
Azuma: After that, we went to where my house used to be together.
Azuma: There was nothing left to see, but I remembered a lot of important things I had forgotten.
Azuma: I made use of it through my acting, too.
Azuma: Also, I thought about it, and I’ve decided to not sell the plot.
Izumi: Really!?
Azuma: I should go back once in a while. There’s nothing there, but it is my house, after all.
Azuma: For a while, I plan to go back occasionally to clean up, and eventually I’ll use it for myself.
Azuma: I told my uncle that, too.
Tasuku: How will you use it for yourself?
Azuma: It’s a secret. Look forward to what it’ll be in the future.
Homare: Will it be a place to sleep with others?
Guy: He could build an apartment, and as the owner and manager of the building he could have a steady source of income even without work.
Tsumugi: That matches Azuma-san.
Hisoka: ...I can be a freeloader.
Izumi: MANKAI Company members would probably live there.
Hisoka: ...We can live there after retirement?
Syu: It’s like a retirement home. Too early for you.
Citron: Everyone’s being unfair! Don’t leaf me out!
Izumi: Wait, Citron-kun?
Tsumugi: Do you mean ‘leave me out’, not ‘leaf me out’?
Citron: I love kabuki, so I wanted to see Syu’s kabuki!
Izumi: It’s not kabuki, it was taishū engeki.
Syu: There are more noisy ones now. I’ll move...
Yuzo: Oi, what is it. All of you gathered up.
Kasumi: It was opening night today, right Syu-san? Having a party?
Reni: But it’s full of MANKAI Company members.
Syu: What’s this rare group of members?
Yuzo: I was planning to go drinking with Kasumi, and we happened to meet Reni-san.
Guy: You might as well all have a drink. Since the bar’s name has finally been decided on, here’s a free glass of our signature.
Citron: I see, this is jersey, yes?
Syu: A glass of milk?*
Guy: It’s journey.
Yuzo: Huh. It’s a nice name.
Tsumugi: What are we going to do now that we’ve finished all of our shows?
Izumi: All the troupes managed to produce good results, so we need to think of our next step.
Homare: A new combination?
Kasumi: I think it’s a good idea. Challenging yourself and trying out something new is good.
Reni: And I’m sure there’s still a lot you can do.
Izumi: A new combination, huh...
Syu: When we were in MANKAI, we collabed with other troupes.
Yuzo: Now that you tell me, I’m starting to remember that. We learned a lot from that.
Azuma: Hm, that sounds like it would be good experience.
Kasumi: We also collaborated with some traditional culture and art fields groups.
Homare: Then how about the long-awaited collaboration with my poetry!
Guy: That would certainly be new...
Tsumugi: Whatever it ends up being, I’m excited for it.
Tasuku: You’re right. I want to try out different kinds of acting.
Izumi: (Even so, I didn’t think the new troupes and the original troupes would be able to have a drink together like this.)
Izumi: (I hope dad will be able to come back here soon. When he does, I want to greet him with a smile and say “Welcome home.”)

A3! Event: This is the Inner Palace, the Flower Garden Chapter 7 Translation
The boys are finally allowed to perform at the park under one condition, but more troubles have arisen before they even go on stage.
Chikage: We’ve arrived at the dressing room at last.
Azami: We’ve gone through so much just to get here.
Sakyo: ...We’re getting ourselves in troubles at the same time, though.
Izumi: …
Person in charge: But I have one request.
Izumi: Request?
Person in charge: I want the audience to not realize that you all are men.
Muku: I wonder if we can perform without getting caught.
Izumi: (Considering they will be playing female roles, it’s only natural that we hope the audience will, at the very least, see them as girls during the play.)
(But it’s a whole different story as we can’t absolutely let the audience realize they’re actually men.)
(I hope they don’t feel too pressured because of this…)
Itaru: How about we offer them some sake first? Pouring sake is our specialty, right, senpai?
Chikage: I hope you know the audience seats are not going to be filled by old men only.
Azami: I’m gonna apply heavier makeup on you guys.
I’ll use greasepaint to hide your adam apples as much as possible, but the rest is on y’all. Try covering them up with your movements.
In the first place, it’s hard to show your body line in kimono. I think we’ll manage.
Tsumugi: What should we do about our voice?
Muku: I’ll do my best to speak in high-pitched voice! Uhhh, let’s try it out…
P-Princess! Where are you going~!?
Tsumugi: I think you don’t need to change your voice, Muku-kun.
Sakyo: Being too conscious will only make ourselves look strange instead, so let’s not do that. The only thing we can do is changing our tone and how fast we speak.
Homare: Aah… To think that the difficulty level has been raised, it’s making me more motivated! I can’t believe this play has turned into a challenge that I’ve been looking for!
Izumi: (...Thank goodness. I think I don’t need to worry.)
Chikage: By the way, how about our costumes? You sure we don’t need to worry about that?
Azami: You have a point. Since a female-only theater troupe was originally set to hold a performance here, I’m sure the outfits are in women’s sizes.
Izumi: …! That’s right! We need to try them out…!
Izumi: Here you go. Can you try putting them on?
Tsumugi: I think mine fits just fine…
Muku: Same here.
Itaru: ...The sleeves are too short.
Azami: Mine too.
Sakyo: It doesn’t fit over my shoulder.
Homare: Hmm… The length of the hem seems okay for me, but the sleeves are too short.
Izumi: I knew it…
Homare: I don’t think we’ll look like the ladies of the inner palace at this rate.
Chikage: ...Mine is also a little bit too small.
Izumi: Eh!? Even Chikage-san…!?
Tsumugi: Hannari Company is a female-only theater troupe, right? So the staff probably assumed that a female actress would play the Shogun.
Azami: That’s possible.
Izumi: Ah, excuse me! Do you have any bigger kimono?
Staff: Bigger kimono…?
Unfortunately, kimono worn by the ladies of the inner palace is popular among the visitors. Other than the ones we have provided for you, they are all currently being rented out.
Izumi: I, I see…
Sakyo: ...We’ve got no other choice but to wear these kimono.
Staff: All the kimono we have prepared for you are of high quality, so I can assure you will still look good even though they’re a little bit too small.
Both the uchikake* and the sash are made with Nishijin brocadeーー.
Homare: Nishijin brocade?
...Ah!
Izumi: What’s the matter, Homare-san?
Azami: This isn’t the time to recite a poemーー.
Homare: I’ve got an idea! Please leave this matter to me!
Izumi: We make sure to come back as soon as possible. I’ll leave the rest to you, Tsumugi-san, Muku-kun.
Muku: We’ll handle the preparation over here!
Homare: We’ll be going, then.
Tsumugi: Umm, Homare-sanーー.
Homare: …?
Female store clerk: Homare-san, thank you for coming…!
Homare: Thank you for the delicious sweets you sent the other day.
Izumi: Hello, nice to meet you. I’m Tachibana from MANKAI Company.
Female store clerk: You’re from the theater troupe Homare-san is in, right?
Homare-san’s grandmother has always been using our service. She’s a fan of our products.
Azami: Homare-san is a rich kid, huh.
Itaru: Look at yourself.
Chikage: All of these kimono look expensive. I wonder what will happen if we accidentally spill coffeeーー.
Sakyo: If you know what’s gonna happen, don’t ever do that.
Homare: I realized I haven’t stopped by in a while after reading the poem you included in the package.
Female store clerk: Fufu. I know Homare-san would understand my intention.
Homare: I’m sorry to ask you this so suddenly when I haven’t visited in a while, but… can you lend us your help?
Female store clerk: Absolutely. If it’s for Homare-san, we’ll do anything.
We shall lend you the finest Nishijin brocade kimono that is suitable for the ladies in the inner palace.
Izumi: Whoa, you guys look very beautiful!
(...They’re so beautiful that I wouldn’t believe it if someone tells me they’re men.)
Azami: ...Just as I thought, you look really good, Itaru-san. You’re a real beauty.
Homare: You’re a worthy opponent for me.
Itaru: Thanks. But I look like my sister so hearing that compliment doesn’t make me feel good.
Izumi: Homare-san looks just like a classic Japanese beauty. So elegant and beautiful!
Homare: Thank you, director-kun.
Itaru: You too, Azami. You give me cool beauty vibes with that black hair. If you were a mobage character, you’ll be freaking popular.
Azami: Don’t compare me to female characters in your mobage. By the way, Chikage-san, you look like a real shogun in that outfit.
Itaru: You mean he looks arrogant? Then again, he has always looked arrogant.
Chikage: Haha, thanks.
Azami: ...You also look perfect, shitty Sakyo.
Sakyo: Hey, this ain’t the time to compliment each other. Let’s hurry up and go back.
Itaru: ...Is he a yakuza wife or what?
T/N: *Uchikake is a garment with a long trailing skirt which is worn over a kimono and obi

Kiiroi Osora de BOOM BOOM BOOM!
Evening Its Ishida Ayumi
“Hello! Project 2020 Winter HELLO! PROJECT IS “ “ ~side A~ ~side B~”
All of the performances have ended! Thank you for your support!
Since starting January 2nd,
The concerts have finally come to an end but
Its already the end of February, its been fast
For this times Harocon period, there weren’t very many absentees from influenza,
I’m really glad about that!
Of course there is also the coronavirus……!
But,
There were many graduation announcements at Harocon
Funaki Musubu-chan Murota Mizuki-chan Miyamoto Karin-chan All of Kobushi Factory
It was the last for many members so its lonely
But, todays Hokkaido performance,
We weren’t solemn,
It was a really good exciting time ❤
More than being lonely,
Its better that it was warm!
In particular watching Kobushi Factory,
I think they made me feel like,
“Don’t worry about us”
They’ll be breaking up already in March
Now I’m looking forward towards their last live in any case ❤
Since its Hokkaido
Side A’s shuffle was,
Ikuta Erina-san
Ishida Ayumi
Sato Masaki-chan Kitagawa Rio-chan Okamura Homare-chan the 5 of us,
We got to sing “Kiiroi Osora de BOOM BOOM BOOM”
The 5 of us were gathered as successful winners of Morning auditions, I thought, despite it being a Harocon shuffle it was all Morning members huh←
Since the 15th generation has still freshly joined,
I thought it was nice that it was a bright energetic song~!
Since I also like this song it was fun ❤
With the hooks soprano solo part,
I wanted to listen to Kitagawa and Homa-chan’s voice
It was a little unfortunate the line distribution was a bit different!
I’m able to imagine though you know~
Kitagawa’s adult-like voice really suits the recent Morning songs, I’ve realized Homa-chan’s voice suits past songs well…! I don’t really know it on a professional level though. Here, I’ve thought of a lot of phrases I want to hear in Homa-chan’s voice, like The☆Peace!’s “Suki na Hito ga…” part, although its currently my part……
Including these things,
Please look forward towards the next spring tour!
Again we’ll be visiting Hokkaido again for the Morning Musume ’20 concert tour in May! Moreover we’ll be going to 2 places, Sapporo and Iwamizawa!

The Harocon has ended so,
So finally, genuinely,
The spring tour rehearsals have started
From no on it’ll be non-stop~~~
I’ll do my best! Soon, lets meet at concerts ok!
Before getting busy with rehearsals,
I got a meal with Chii-chan ❤
Morito Chisaki-chan and,
Fukumura Mizuki-chan and,
Yamaki Risa-chan,
The 4 of us went out for yakiniku
Of course the meat was delicious but,
It was fun talking as the 4 of us! Fun!
I’m glad that our promise to go out to eat came true~!
Chii-chan is a really talkative girl,
After joining Morning,
It may have taken her a while took get there though
Now she’s really super funny,
Its fun to pull her out,
I’m healed just by listening to her since she’s cute
Chii’s laughter is relieving… that is,
I’m also picking up on sentimentalities I’ve never had before! Shine
Again congratulations on turning 20
Let’s treat each other well from now on!
Let’s go again!
See you ayumin ❤

A3! Voice Drama: Leaders Meeting
An oldie but goodie included with the “MANKAI☆KAIKA SENGEN” single released back in February. The four leaders discuss the issues in each of their troupes, get a little personal about some of their members, and even do impressions of them!
Tenma: A3! Drama CD. Sakuya: Leaders Meeting. —— /running footsteps/ /door opening and closing/ Tenma: Sorry, got held up! Banri: Tenma, you’re friggin’ late. Tenma: Filming went over. Sakuya: Everyone’s here now, right? Tsumugi: With that, I call the 13th Leader Meeting to order. Tsumugi: I, Tsumugi Tsukioka, will be the moderator. Tsumugi: As for secretary— Sakuya, I’m counting on you. Sakuya: Please leave it to me! Banri: /game sounds/ Boom! Got that super rare~ Tsumugi: Banri! No games during the meeting. Banri: Woooord. But uh, what’re we doing this meeting? The director isn’t here, yeah? Tsumugi: That’s true… She said she’d leave it up to us, but… Tenma: Hey. Tsumugi: Tenma, go ahead. Tenma: How about “Regarding MANKAI Company’s Operations Strategy?” Banri: Could we even decide something like that with just us 4? Sakuya: Why not collect some of our opinions and make suggestions to the director? Tsumugi: Yeah, that sounds good, I think. I’d like to confirm the status of each troupe, too. Tenma: So we’re set, then. Banri: Roger that. Tsumugi: Alright, let’s jump right in from Spring Troupe, please. Sakuya: Okay! Sakuya: Spring Troupe is currently practicing toward a local tour. We’re thinking of several unique strategies to make something even better than our last in-house production. Banri: It’s been awhile since your last show— isn’t it tough trying to get a feel for the stage again? Sakuya: That is the case, yes. We do get a lot of practice from street acting, though. Tsumugi: Improv theater is a bit different though, isn’t it? Sakuya: Yes… And Itaru seems very busy lately. Tsumugi: He’s the only one working full-time after all, maybe he has lot on his plate? Banri: Ohhhh, haha. It’s ‘cuz there was that massive update. Tenma: Huh? Update? Banri: The expansion for this game he’s into. With leveling and logging in day and night— ‘course he’s got no time. Tenma: You mean he’s “busy” with a game?! Banri: Exactly. Sakuya: There’s Masumi, too. He’s hardly in the mood for practice whenever the director is working with other troupes. Tenma: Yeeaah… Tsumugi: I can see that. The director is his life, after all. Sakuya: Spring Troupe improves exponentially when we’re in a pinch, but we may have trouble with regular, routine improvement. Sakuya: If I could just apply my leadership more… Banri: Well, every troupe’s got their issues. Tenma: Summer Troupe has problems too. Tenma: Since Yuki spends all his time on costuming for other troupes, there’re times when he can’t even do normal practice. Banri: Our costume designer is always aimin’ high after all. Recently Taichi from Autumn’s been getting roped in too. Tenma: Plus, Kazunari is in charge of the website and is busy with the updates. Tsumugi: A number of Summer Troupe members work behind-the-scenes or have their own side jobs, so it’s natural for those kinds of problems to pop up, I guess. Sakuya: Does Autumn Troupe have these kinds of issues? Banri: Well, I think everyone’s pretty gung-ho about practice. Banri: But— we fight a lot. Tsumugi: I’d expect nothing less of MANKAI Company’s most trigger happy troupe. Banri: Hyodo’s friggin’ annoying. Banri: I swear— practice goes nowhere. Tenma: Your relationship’s the same as when you guys first auditioned, huh. Tenma: If we’re talking about getting derailed though, Misumi’s just as bad. Tenma: At the least, we have to make sure we don’t leave anything triangular lying around. Tsumugi: Misumi’s love for triangles is pretty extreme. Banri: He’s more a devout believer than a fan. Tenma: “Trianglicism,” huh? Sakuya: How fitting… Tenma: Also, everyone’s so pushy that we lack unity and calm. Tsumugi: Summer is the overall youngest and an energetic troupe, right? Tenma: “Energetic”? More like “noisy.” Tenma: Those guys totally don’t get I’m the “leader.” Tenma: They don’t respect me at all. Tenma: Seriously, who do they think I am?! Tenma: I’m the talented 15-plus-year veteran actor Tenma Sumeragi! Banri: So the pushiest of them all is actually the leader himself, amirite? Tenma: What?! /chair shuffling/ How am I— Sakuya: Easy, easy. Sakuya: How about Winter Troupe? Tsumugi: Hmm… Well, in short, we have a lot of people who go at their own pace. Banri: Oh yeah. Like a poet, and a hostess*, and someone who sleeps three-thirds of his life. Tenma: Wouldn’t he be asleep his whole life then? Tsumugi: Maybe it’s because our members are all on the older side, but our difficulties are in being impulsive, or rather, unable to concentrate on improving. Tenma: Everyone’s got something, huh. Tsumugi: Yeah… Banri: Can we really talk about “strategy” in this situation? Tenma: We’ve got more fundamental problems. Tsumugi: Mmm… Sakuya: Oh! Speaking of which, I read this in a book the other day. Apparently, a leader’s love for the members is essential to improving a group’s performance. Banri: “Love” for the members? Tsumugi: So complaining like this is no good, then? Tenma: I mean, it’s not like there’s no love at all in those. Banri: ’the heck do you mean by “love” anyway? Talk about embarrassing. Tsumugi: Maybe it’s like, how much you observe and think about the members. Tenma: Or like, how well you know them? Like that? Sakuya: Excuse me! In that case, I’m actually pretty confident. Sakuya: So I noticed this just recently, but when Masumi is sleepy, he always rubs his right eye— never, ever the left one! Banri: Damn that’s specific! Tsumugi: Oh, I see. Good eye. Sakuya: When you live together, you start to notice all kinds of things, right? Banri: I got one. On nights after he’s had gym class, Hyodo will absolutely grind his teeth. Friggin’ obnoxious. Sakuya: Really?! Tenma: Isn’t he just tired? Sakuya: Tsumugi, have you noticed anything about your troupe members? Tsumugi: Hmm… When Tasuku oversleeps, he’ll definitely have a cowlick on the left side of the back of his head— like that? Banri: Of course. Childhood friends of 10-years deep have tons of info. Tenma: Kinda stalker-y, though. Tsumugi: Also, the wheezing sounds Hisoka makes during REM sleep is a little different from the wheezing sounds he makes during non-REM sleep. Sakuya: So it has nothing to do with how long he’s known someone. Banri: Tsumugi is the real deal. Tenma: He’s definitely built to be a stalker. Sakuya: B-But, you can definitely feel his love for the members! Tenma: If we’re just talking about “observing,” I’m observing too! Tenma: Yuki’s always like, “So obnoxious. Crappy actor.” Sakuya: Wow! That sounded just like him! Tsumugi: That was surprisingly good! Banri: That’s just an impression! Sakuya: Well, you can’t do an impression of someone without observing them closely. Banri: Then I can do Hyodo impressions all day long. So sick and tired of him. Banri: “Get lost. Jerk.” Tenma: …How’s that different from your usual self? Tsumugi: It really isn’t… Banri: Hey, it’s totally different! Don’t lump me in with that guy! Sakuya: Okay, my turn! Sakuya: “A blowfish will strike ducks who smile, laugh, and grow fat.” Banri: Hahaha! Spot on! Tsumugi: Just like Citron. Tenma: “Good fortune will come to the homes of those who smile, laugh and grow fat,” right? Tenma: The nonsensical bit was very Citron. Banri: How ‘bout Winter Troupe? Tsumugi: I’m not too confident, but— Tsumugi: “I shall present my poetic secret weapon.” Tsumugi: “Distant montage / Continual décantage…” All: Hahaha! Banri: Hilariousss. Sakuya: That is just like Homare. Banri: “Not too confident”? You were totally into it! Tenma: Oh, me, me, me! Tenma: “Princes are so amazing~ Wish I could be one~” Sakuya: Haha! It’s Muku! Tsumugi: “Each and every spice is critical in curry. In other words, curry is like its own little world.” Banri: Here comes the director out of left field! Sakuya: That’s too real! Tenma: You’re good! /door opening and closing/ Sakuya: Ah, Director! Banri: Oh…Director… Tenma: N-No! We weren’t playing around! Tsumugi: We weren’t fooling around either! Banri: We weren’t practicing for an impression contest either! Sakuya: We were seriously having a meeting! Tenma: Honest! Banri: Yeah! Like, uh, how we express our love for our members? Kinda? Sakuya: Y-Yeah, yeah! Exactly! Tenma: Like, how much we think about our members! Banri: Well, that last bit was totally an impression contest, though… Sakuya: Hm? Uh… the…meeting? Banri: I mean…we were having a meeting… Tenma: About…MANKAI Company’s…future operations strategy… Tsumugi: Ehe…we got really off track, huh?
* From the brief research I’ve done, the term Banri uses here specifically refers to women (who do nightlife kind of jobs). I’m sure he’s cleverly referencing Azuma’s feminine appearance in addition to his previous occupation.

Sakyo: “Once you’re able to find the bullet, you’d know which group did the boss in, won’t you?” Juza: “It’ll be great if it was a just a feud with other groups but…” Juza: “What do you mean?” Ran: (The tension in the air feels way different from how it was during practices up till now. It feels as if it’s all being drawn to the flow with the spirit Sakyo-san’s putting in.) Ran: (The results are quick to show even though Sakyo-san and I have been demanding more from the others than usual. Ran: (I can see everyone’s growth growing clearer by the day…I’ll be looking forward to see how it’ll all turn out on the actual day itself!) Ran: Okay. Let’s end here today then. Sakyo: …It’s already this late, huh. Ran: That’s because you were pretty immersed in it. Juza: Haa… Banri: Ah― I’m exhausted―… Omi: I can’t feel my legs nor throat. Taichi: This time’s sword-fighting’s also tough. Banri: Or rather, Hyodo’s subordinates all suffer through lots of mental pain and suffering. Juza: Aah? Ran: Come to think of it, Banri was the superior one back in Stranger. Banri: Of course the group would be reduced to shambles if someone like that was the young head. Juza: What did you say? Sakyo: All of you should just stop bickering and act a little more like subordinates! Banri: I’ll do that properly once I’m on the stage. Only once I’m on the stage. Sakyo: You guys are way too full of openings while asleep, aren’t you. Taichi: His true self is leaking out…! Banri: Well, that just means that this is just the kind of acting it should be. Yuki: Good work― Ran: Oh, Yuki-kun. Taichi: Good work! Yuki: The outfits are done. Try it on lightly. Sakyo: The lead, Kazama’s wearing Japanese clothing, huh. Yuki: It’s what Tsuzuru wants. Well, it’s self-explanatory, right? Banri: That’s some amazing colour. Ran: Self-explanatory... Taichi: What a bad choice of colour! Yuki: Omi will have a beard and make-up of a scar. Omi: A beard huh…I don’t normally grow one. Sakyo: Isn’t that good? Yuki: The character Omi play’s supposed to look old too. Taichi: Omi-san, that outfit fits you so well that it’s scary! You’re the type that I definitely don’t want to get close to! Banri: Speaking of which, you’re also just a low-levelled yakuza punk once you wear that. Taichi: I can’t deny it…! Ran: (Once they get their costumes on, this place will really start looking more and more like a yakuza group’s office…) Yuki: Oh right, Kazunari says that he wants to take photos on the site itself for the flyer this Saturday. Omi: This Saturday, got it. Ran: How about trying the outfits out since they’re done anyway? Juza: ‘Kay. Banri: Seriously? Taichi: No way…! Sakyo: That’s enough, just hurry and go change. Banri: ‘Kay. Yuki: Oh Omi, let me do up your make-up for the beard and scar. Omi: I’m a little worried about how my face will turn out in the end…
Juza: “Say, won’t you take revenge for my father?”
Juza: “There’s trouble brewing around the inside too so I can’t make any reckless moves. Please. You’re the only one I can rely on.” Ran: (Hmm…it feels as if Juza-kun doesn’t have enough dignity here. He kind of feels like a subordinate instead, especially when he’s lined up with Sakyo-san.) Ran: (Even if he’s a guest, it feels kind of awkward with the way the young Tatsuda head’s treating Kazama on equal footing.) Ran: (It might be because their usual relationship with each other’s still hindering them.) Ran: (It seems like it’ll take a little more time before he manages to grasp the personality of the role.) Sakyo: Hyodo, Just treat me as your equivalent. Juza: ‘Kay. Ran: (Sakyo-san noticed it after all.) Sakyo: And also, don’t lower your head. Juza: ‘Kay. Omi: It’s also partially the fault of how are usual relationships with each other are but the behaviour and the way we speak’s also pretty hard to adapt to. Banri: Should we watch movies of Chivalry or something? Taichi: That’s a great idea! Ran: Let’s end it here for today then. Taking what we’ve learnt from today, let’s do our best tomorrow too!
Sakuya: Ah― I’m hungry~ Banri: Oi, you bastard. What are you doin’ to my stuff? Don’t send the soup flyin’ this way. Juza: Aah? Who are you talkin’ to, huh? Sakyo: You guys are too noisy! Don’t go bothering the amateur. Sakuya: !! Citron: There’s a Kusaya~! Tsuzuru: Yakuza, you mean. Tenma: Come to think of it, the Autumn Troupe’s next play is one about chivalry, huh. Tasuku: The Autumn Troupe’s antics are getting worse and worse by each step they take… Homare: Hm, What are you doin’ to my stuff, huh…what an interesting phrase indeed. Azuma: You’re taking notes down? Homare: That’s because I don’t know when it’ll come in handy. Tasuku: You’re going to use it?
Juza: Thanks for the food.
Taichi: Thanks for the food! Ran: Today’s roast beef was really delicious too~ Omi: I’m glad to hear that. Sakyo: Ahh, right. I have business to attend to on Sunday so I can only join the practice at night. Ran: Are you busy with work? Sakyo: …It’s a little minor business. Ran: ? Okay. Sakyo: Sorry about this.
Sakoda: ――This should do it. Omi: “Congratulating, first lead”…?
Taichi: Are you trying to support Sakyo? Sakoda: I made an orirental ball-shaped scent bag! Banri: Heh~ As expected of the truly faithful dog. Sakoda: I got a pretty good amount of cloth which was used to make bro’s outfit from the big sis called Rurikawa I’ll make a headband and a helmet-scarf from that too~ Banri: Are those supposed to be some kinda original fan goods? Taichi: You’re really enthusiastic about it… Taichi: As expected of the follower and fan no.1… Banri: Speaking of which, don’t you have to follow Sakyo-san today? Sakoda: Oh, bro said that he’s gonna view apartments this entire week till next Sunday and that I can’t follow him―― Banri: Apartment…? Omi: Viewing… Sakoda: Aaah!! I’ve said it all! Even though bro told me absolutely not to tell anyone…! Taichi: W-What’s the meaning of this? Sakoda: I won’t say it! If I don’t keep what bro told me to myself――I, I…! Juza: O-Okay…we get it. Sakoda: Ha! I have to show up at the office soon! I’ll excuse myself here then! Banri: Ah, oi――

Hugtto! Precure Episode 9 & 10
New Post has been published on https://hentaihun.com/blog/2018/04/09/hugtto-precure-episode-9-10/
Hugtto! Precure Episode 9 & 10
Episode 9 was one of those episode where I litterally have nothing to say. My mind was blank. It was pretty much about sing songs on the mountain and a little girl Emiru who is all about SAFETY FIRST and has a heart of a hero!!!! That’s it. That’s the episode. There wasn’t a thing about it to progress a plot, pure filler episode- why? I don’t know, but it was utterly pointless in my eyes. So with that, with just skip it altogether and jump into Episode 10, where things get spicy! (And now I’m hungry, darn food festival!)
Episode 10: THIS EPISODE WAS AWESOME! I wasn’t sure if they were going to make Hana regain her powers this episode, but I love that she didn‘t and it came with a huge price: Hugtan over-exerting herself and is now in poor condition. Harry’s frantic response made me wonder if she were to use all of her powers, she will either erase her own existence (die) or be stuck in a coma for god knows how long.
Hana’s conflict this episode was something that has been in a making since Episode 8: Henry had planted the seeds of doubts. Today the girls out to work at the Food Festival, Homare and Saaya were blessed with adorable maid outfits, while the Mirai Pad gave Hana (in her eyes) a not so cute outfit. The reason for that was because Hana simply had a different role to play, and a challenge she needed to face in order to further grow as an individual and as a precure.
Unfortunately Hana failed to realize this, and her day did not get any better. Whenever she tried to be helpful at the Takoyaki stall, the owner would tell her to shut up. Eventually, after getting the chance to taste the food, she was able to successfully create her own unique way of grabbing attention to the stall that has always been unpopular. However, Hana had interpreted the people’s positive response negatively, thinking they were laughing at her for being silly. I felt so bad for her, because we all been there before, making her experience extremely relatable. And these things are prone to happening when your confidence level is at an all time low. For the duration of the episode, Hana was constantly comparing herself to Saaya and Homare, both who were seemingly completing the task at ease. It is a mistake we all make, a die-hard habit that is difficult to break. It is why is it so important to learn and remember we all have respective strengths and weaknesses, and figure that out through various trial and error.
With Hana unable to transform, there was a part of me that was disappointed that neither Homare or Saaya were capable of purifying the monster themselves. I hope their new upgrade (Melody Sword) they will be obtaining in next week’s episode will change that.
And lastly: This is totally irrelevant… but oh my god, I am shipping Hana x Hinose! I know he’s just a music student and a fellow classmate, and certainly does not stand out, and he is probably going to forever be a background/minor character- but oh my god: I just SWOONED. He gave her some great advice: She has her own uniqueness that lets her shine. It is just like the band and how they harmonize each of their own sounds and make beautiful music out of it. What if Hana put her heart into making her own sound that only she can make? (Not to mention, it seems he pays a lot of attention to her, greeting her first and so on… heehee…. I’m reading into this way too much! Haha!)
Extra Note: It is kind of funny how just the week before Episode 9, I was discussing with some of you how double-posts might be the best way to buy time until the series starts picking up itself. Last week’s episode was a perfect example of the times when I am at loss for words and can’t think of anything positive to contribute to the conversation in regards to the episode. My writing style is heavily reliant on Plot and Character Development, as my favourite thing to do is to dissect them in attempt to get a better understanding or idea of the story and characters themselves.
Since I am not willing to give up on this series just yet, and I understand you guys really want me to cover this, from this point on (*exclusively for Hugtto Precure): There may be weeks when an episode like Episode 9 (filler) will be postponed, and release it as a double-post in the following week. When that happens, I will drop an alert on our Twitter, Tumblr (if you aren’t following either one yet, be sure to follow!!!) and in the latest’s episode comment section!

★ Main Story | Act 13 - Budding Spring | Chapter 18 - Leaving The Nest
Muku: It’s going to be kind of lonely without Spring Troupe here.
Misumi: Here’s a triangle for good luck~.
Sakuya: What a pretty seashell. Thank you!
Citron: I will forever forget you all~!
Tsuzuru: I sure hope you meant “never”.
Taichi: You’re all overreacting!
Yuki: Are we really having a whole farewell party when they’re not even going to be gone for that long?
Omi: Maybe it’s more like a send-off party?
Homare: Precisely. It’s a party to encourage Spring Troupe to embark on their new adventure. Now then, allow me to recite a poem of mine to celebrate their embarkation!
Izumi: The green curry’s done~.
Azami: The hell kinda menu’s got sushi and a curry set?
Citron: The sushi was my request~.
Izumi: And I wanted all of Spring Troupe to remember the taste of the MANKAI Dorms curry…!
Sakyo: It’s like a MANKAI Dorms speciality.
Manager: Looks like we’ve found what our next set of merch is going to be!
Sakyo: The hell we have. That’s way too elaborate for us to launch anytime soon.
Izumi: There can be no compromises!
Tasuku: But still, it’s a pretty bold move for the entirety of Spring Troupe to leave the dorms right before their performance.
Azuma: Maybe that’s exactly the reason they’re doing it.
Banri: Sometimes the only way you can have a breakthrough is if you go out ‘n take on a new challenge.
Tsumugi: Becoming assistant director was that challenge for you. It seems like you’re all headed in different directions, but we want to support you.
Omi: Because even seemingly useless detours can be necessary sometimes.
Sakuya: That reminds me, why don’t we also use that app Towa-kun mentioned?
Itaru: BlooCha?
Sakuya: I mean, we have LIME too, but with this, you can know who’s online, and it looks like it keeps a log of when you leave and join the chat, so we can feel like we’re all in the same place a little more, y’know?
Chikage: I’m not opposed to it.
Itaru: The timing for this is perfect. BlooChat’s gotten pretty popular lately, so basically everyone’s using it.
Citron: I will download it right away!
Tsuzuru: Seems like you’ve gotta register first and then create an avatar.
Masumi: There’s no curry avatar…
Chikage: That makes sense.
Citron: My avatar is done!
Sakuya: Oh, is it a cat? Wait no, maybe a worm? Huh?
Itaru: How’d you even end up with that?
Citron: I combined as many thing as possible!
Tsuzuru: That abomination talking the way Citron-san does is going to be what does in humanity.
Sakuya: Your name is “UC”, Chikage-san?
Chikage: I mean, it’s a pretty standard choice, isn’t it?
Citron: Too standard! I nearly mistook you for an error message!
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Sakuya: Sorry for leaving so early in the morning.
Izumi: Don’t worry about it. I saw everyone else off, so there’s no way I’d leave you out, Sakuya-kun.
Izumi: You haven’t forgotten anything, right? Got all your medicine and everything?
Sakuya: Don’t worry, I’ve got it all.
Izumi: Haha, okay, okay. You can buy most of what you’d need wherever, and you can always come back for something if you need to.
Izumi: (I saw him off like this when we pseudo-disbanded, but this time it was all so sudden that it feels a little different.)
Izumi: (I guess with the situation being the way it was back then, we all made that disbandment decision together.)
Izumi: (Somehow, it really feels like he’s leaving this time…)
Izumi: It’ll be kind of lonely without you.
Sakuya: This isn’t goodbye. We’re just leaving the nest. For the future’s sake.
Izumi: Right.
Izumi: (Sakuya-kun really has grown up to be pretty reliable.)
Izumi: (He’s able to think and act in such a level-headed way, both for his own future, and the troupe’s.)
Izumi: Take care. Stay safe, okay?
Sakuya: I’m off!

Homare/Sakyo Cross Backstage Story: Genius Copywriter
Thank you makikake for the screen caps! and if you have any cross backstage stories other than the one I have posted (Itaru/Banri, Banri/Tsumugi, and Azuma/Yuki). just chat me or contact me on twitter !
Kazu consulted about company’s homepage renewal to Sakyo. Homare was happened to hear that and suggested some crazy ideas.
Sakyo: Good grief. Who's the bastard that leave the light in the bathroom on? Just when I said to turn off unused light...
Kazunari: U~n...
Sakyo: Hm?
Kazunari: Uu~n...
Sakyo: What's with the groaning?
Kazunari: Ah, Furuche-san! Good timing!
Sakyo: Stop with that way of calling.
Kazunari: Rather than that, there's something I want to consult with you!
Sakyo: Something you want to consult?
Kazunari: It's been a while since I made our company homepage, rite?
Since we've already completed our troupes, I've been thinking about renewing the homepage, see~
Sakyo: Ah, this is certainly a good time then.
Kazunari: Rite, rite?
And somehow I got some sparkle
Sakyo: Sparkle?
Kazunari: It's when you are hit on a good idea, you know!
Sakyo: I wonder if I understand that.
Kazunari: Well, well! Anyhoo, I thought about adding more content in our company members' introduction page. If we get more fans, we may as well have our own fansite!
Sakyo: Ah, isn't that good?
Kazunari: I've already made it up to this point~ but don't you think things like hobby and skill are too normal?
Some~how, it doesn't have any punch...
Sakyo: Hm... I think this is well done, though.
Kazunari: I want to add different flavour, somehow it feels like it's missing some spices, y'know? Do you have any good ideas, like a terrific* component or something?
Sakyo: First off, I don't know what you mean by "terrific".
Kazunari: Uh.. I mean if you have some catchy icon-like, it will be more better*.
Sakyo: Speak in Japanese.
Kazunari: Eh~! It's Japanese, y'know!
Sakyo: Where in the hell you call that Japanese.
Isn't that your phone? It's ringing.
Kazunari: .....Uwa, holy moly! I've got an email from my professor saying I should call him right now. Furuche-san, excuse me for a bit!
Sakyo: Ok.
Kazunari: Heyho~ professor?
Sakyo: To think you even use that kind of tone to your professor....
....At least, introduce yourself.
Homare: ....You seem to be in trouble, don’t you?
Sakyo: !? Where did you come from?
Homare: Actually, I was keeping an eye on your situation secretly.
Sakyo: I didn't feel any sign of you, though.
Homare: That's because I was half asleep, you see.
Sakyo: It's not keeping an eye on us, then.
Homare: Just ignore the minor details!
If you have problems, it's fine to talk it out with me, okay?
Sakyo: No, we only talk about site design...
Ah, come to think of it, you're also more or less an artist, aren't you?
Homare: It's not more or less, you see. I am a splendid, professional artist.
If you like, I will give you one of....
Sakyo: Ok, I get it, I get it.
Actually, it seems like we're planning to make a renewal on the company's website. We're in the middle of thinking what should be added to the member's self introduction page.
Homare: Is that so? Then, you should have leave those kind of things to me!
Sakyo: Do you have any good idea?
Homare: Let me offer you a poetry of each member of the groups! Then, as the self introduction, you can put it big!
Sakyo: That way, everyone would look like a poet. Rejected.
Homare: Hm... poetry is no good, I see.
How about catch phrase, then?
Sakyo: Catch phrase, huh... In that case, It may be easier to remember.
For example?
Homare: Right... For example, if it's you...
"The yakuza brother with gentle glasses~! I will protect the purse strings!" how is it?!
Sakyo: Ha?
Homare: Ah, the me who is rich in vocabulary.... The delicate harmony of logo...
Sakyo: I am sorry to say this while you're being all happy, but rejected. The image of this theater will fall as it makes ourselves look weird.
Homare: You don't like it, I suppose?
I also have the others, you see. For Hisoka-kun, I have, "The mysterious man with no relative~! A three-point leader is a friend!"
Sakyo: Oi oi..
Homare: For Tsumugi-kun...
"A man so gentle to the point of breaking the rule! He holds all of Tasuku's secret!"
Sakyo: No, it's no good either way.
Homare: And then, Azuma-san..
"The imperfect, beautiful witch! He won't tell you his age even if you ask for it!"
And then, it has to be Tasuku-kun, huh.
"The thickheaded, drama fool! His former prince image is far beyond his very own image!"
Sakyo: You'll make them mad, you know.
Homare: Ah.... More ideas have came floating around me....!
Sakyo: No, as I said...
Kazunari: I am back~
Oh my? Have you woken up, Aririn?
Homare: Good timing! A good idea just came up!
Kazunari: Somehow you're feeling high~?
Sakyo: He's talking about putting catch phrases on the self introduction page.
Kazunari: Isn't that good? Terrific!
Homare: Ah, right. I have one for Kazunari-kun.
"The stylish party person who is satisfied with his real life! He doesn't use honorific to anyone!"
So, how is it?
Kazunari: What's that?
I don't really get it, but it sounds cool, I guess?
Homare: That's right! I know you would understand it!
Now I have to immediately make one for everyone!
Kazunari: Aririn, I am counting on you!
Homare: Leave it to me!
Sakyo: Oi, seriously...?
Homare: "The little prince of triangle! A 634 meter high sky tree is also mine!"
"The male daughter with poisonous tongue! Not only his level of consciousness, but his budget of costumes is also soaring!"
"The soft, fluffy, and lovable boy! Someday, I will grow up like Ju-chan!"
"The ore-sama type who is extremely talented, Tenma-sama! He's weak with ghost in general!"
Kazunari: Cool! It's very critical and feels like an infomercial.
Homare: Fufun. This much is normal, you know!
Sakyo: .....I don't know how this will turn out.
t/n: 1. The original word for “terrific” is actually テンアゲ (Tenage). It is a slang commonly used by youngsters to express that they are super excited.
2. I used italic style in this one to emphasize that Kazu is actually speaking in Engrish, That’s why Sakyo told him to speak in Japanese.
3. The last four catch phrases that Homare said are about summer troupe’s kids. In order, they are Misumi, Yuki, Muku, and Tenma.
