I love how episode six is all about collective bargaining and unionization as a whole- with both Ned's crew turning on him in what is essentially a strike for how terribly he treated them and Zheng trying to convince the english to pay pirates a living wage so they won't have to steal after going around negotiating deals with fellow pirates earlier in the season trying to get the pirate community of the Caribbean to stand together

i don’t think it’s being said enough but in season two the relationship recovery of the revenge crew+stede with ed will not go well. they’re going to find out what ed did to lucius and there is a 98% chance that it will not go well. i had a dream that stede spent a whole episode trying to pick out the perfect outfit while everyone else went out on a raid and couldn’t find any of his clothes and finally found an all black outfit and told ed he couldn’t find his clothes when ed got back from the raid and that’s how he found out ed threw all his stuff overboard and ed and jim were extremely impressed with his all black outfit and ed said “if i knew this is how you would dress without your other clothes i would have thrown them overboard a long time ago”
