In a war there's no time to explore or search for things that can be useful, or even search for clues, less with the fact that youre leading an army. There was no puzzle, no mistery to solve or objects that needed to be obtained, just plain fight and confrontation, not leaving space for investigation or even a good rest in town

They have a point, without exploring they wouldn't have the arsenal that they carry; powerful items that can kill a whole army of monsters, a gift left by the hero before them to help, shinies. All that is really useful when you want to save the whole kingdom

lets not forget all the weapons that you can get on HW, there are some that are like, crazy powerful, and the materials get from the enemies are also really helpful

In advance, sorry if this was a little abstract 😭😭 but these are really my main tips when it comes to HelPol, in my experience. And also sorry if it's worded poorly I am very tired ABDJDJK

I would probably say to always keep in mind that everyone has their own path and especially in HelPol (which tends to be very self directed and personal). It can be very different for everyone. Don't feel pressured to worship and practice the ways other people do, especially if it doesn't work for you! I found there's a lot of trial and error finding how you like to worship. If that makes sense!

There's lots of ways to show devotion/prayer to the Gods. Like I said, whatever you find works best for you. You can give gifts, devote activities and craft to the Gods, or even just talk to Them. There's plenty of posts on tumblr that list all sorts of ideas like that if you need some inspo! Some little things I like to do include painting to honour Apollo or doing my skin routine to honour Aphrodite. I also have playlists and candles for Them both that I may listen to or light throughout the day to honour Them!

(Personally, my main form of prayer and devotion is veiling. I veil full coverage and dress modestly, as that's what I have found works best for me and what I like! It keeps the Gods in my mind throughout the day and keeps me connected to Them. But again‌, that's just one of the many things you could choose to do.)

Another, perhaps simple, point I'd love to share is to always remember that the Gods are patient, loving and understanding. Haven't thought about Them in a while? They get it! Going through a bit of a rough patch with your faith? They get it! Just havent had the time? They get it! Nothing you could give Them is too small. Again, whatever works for you and whatever you can manage!!!

I could definitely expand on all this (I loveeee talking about my religion abdjdjsj) but I have already probably talked your digital ear off!!

TLDR; Don't pressure yourself to practice HelPol any particular way, do what feels right for you and that you enjoy, and remember that the Gods are incredibly patient and loving so don't beat yourself up about how you've been doing your practice.

OUGHH REALLY HARD QUESTION. gaghh. i think my two favourites are brutal and my which prime defender are you quiz!!! brutal was just so fun to write i love when winters family torment nexus!!!! and the quiz because i knew exactly what the reception to it would be (oh silly fun quiz!! yay--oh. GOD i have like five million playlists i cycle through depending on my mood. i have like a playlist of party/sex/etc. songs, another simply called ⚔️BADASS SHIT⚔️ (yes sword emojis included) that i named years ago and don't have the heart to change the name of, one with songs that provide me with serotonin, etc. however i think my favourite playlist is gay fuck jazz (name courtesy of my brother who once described will wood's music as gay fuck jazz and it hasn't left my brain since) gay fuck jazz is usually my default!!!
