oouhh my god that's a tough question to start with. like the boring answer would be some sort of multi tool but i suppose anything that helps me survive would eventually also help me leave. it'd have to be like. a ball. or some other sort of small nicknack that i could easily keep on me to play around with, oH or my childhood plushy. or actually like a lil instrument like a harmonica to learn that'd be cool. yeaah so like a rubiks cube or a harmonica or my plushie ^^

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy was like the only thing i read during middle/high school that wasn't required reading for a class it's fantastic. ok well it wasn't the only thing i read but it's the only thing i've reread like 5 times by now lmao. it definitely helped stoke my imagination and interest in physics with the dumbass sci-fi fkjdksjs

wuuuh i haven't thought too much about it but i think ideally i end up in some sort of pure mathematics research position; i imagine i'm also gonna end up teaching at a uni somewhere at the same time, which isn't bad honestly even though i'm an awful teacher ^^ i just love talking about and trying to explain that stuff. i don't know exactly where my passion comes from but it's just. sure i've always been good at it but more than that it's exciting! it's so exciting to learn about! maths isn't invented, it's discovered, and we're discovering it! and it's so complex and so stupid. it's embedded in everything and exists wholly outside of it. i also like philosophy lmao

ok ok, so. good. proper. vanilla icecream. like chocolate with fudgy bits and stuff is incredible, fruity/berry flavoured icecream is awesome too. but there's a reason vanilla became synonymous with default and it isn't because it's boring it's because it's the best. but yeah only if it's good, shitty vanilla icecream sucks ass. it's also incredibly close to be entirely honest i DO like a good berry icecream. but the simplicity and delicacy of vanilla just does it for me most of the time

i don't think i have a favourite place- i haven't traveled enough yet😭 the furthest i've been from home was just sydney and the gold coast and it was like. different but the same, all just australia still but somewhere else. but i've always wanted to tour through europe and japan and some bits in south africa and the americas and other places too though. i need to see everything

AHH terraria probably??!!!?! it's so hard to say but really terraria is probably the game i've played the most in my life. otherwise plazma burst is an old flash game that's close to my heart because of nostalgia. and cause it's fucking awesome still tbh. OHH and the henry stickmin games!!!! also nostalgia but they also fucking rock still. and then there's the basic answers like portal and skyrim because of course. i cried when i finally beat portal 2, it was literally one the first games i ever played on the xbox 360 we got when i was like 9-10 years old, and like, i'd get stuck at bits and not play for a while at a time so it ultimately took some two years to get through but when it happened it was just. ough.

I feel like Winter, Qibli, Peril and Turtle would all ditch their links to royalty if given the chance, each for different reasons, and I really like that as a contrast to all the Arc 1 girlies finding out they're royalty and reveling in it.

I could see Qibli wanting to keep his title as prince to be taken seriously but I also think there are ppl who inevitably give him shit for being adopted and I think his background makes him someone who wants Real Power (animus magic) and not just clout or titles. Words mean less to a deeply anxious and insecure man than actions. Turtle just wants to be Some Guy and that's very much part of his book, and Peril is...Peril.

Winter is probably the most like...out there call of those 4 but I do think it's implied with him (and most of the icewing characters tbh) that he feels like his title owns him rather than the other way round. His willingness to fake his death is like. Obviously bc of his love for his brother and his new friends but I also think it's like...a part of him just wants to GTFO and has wanted to for some time now.

ough well so in my head I have a very specific headcanon of how your first kid "happens"

it's not planned, of course.

and llewyn is kinda getting used to it, so when you tell him you're pregnant, he immediately figures out you wanna get rid of it, and he hates himself for getting you pregnant and making the both of you go through this.

he's a bit shaken when you tell him you want this kid with him, but from the moment you try to convince him that he would be a great dad he is deep down all for it.

and I'm saying "deep down" because it's still hard for him. it takes him a while to get used to the idea that he will become a father for real (he technically already is with diane's kid, but well...... yk) and that the rest of his life is gonna be dedicated to his kid with you. life has already tried to drown him in shit multiple times, and he's scared it's gonna do the same with this kid, but he also hopes it's gonna do the exact opposite and light it all up for him.

and it happens to go very well. you have a boy that you name mike, and he is his dad's dead ringer. same big brown eyes, same dark curls, and you're even wondering if that kid truly has your dna and if he truly came out of you :') llewyn keeps on telling you that he has your nose and mouth but you can't see it. you even asked his sister to see a picture of llewyn when he was little and you swear that mike is the spitting image of his father.

surprisingly, adjusting to this new life isn't going so bad? music is going well, so llewyn doesn't have to run around the city all day to look for gigs, so he can take care of mike.

llewyn is absolutely obsessed with mike, and likewise. mike is so attached to his dad, if it wasn't so adorable you would be jealous as hell. the way mike reaches for llewyn everytime and the way his little fingers tug on his beard whenever he's in his arms never fails to make your heart burst.

a couple years go by, and llewyn is the one to ask you if you want another kid, because he does. and from now the breeding kink is unlocked👀 and the sex that comes from it is heavenly. maybe he gets a bit rougher, because he really wants to give you another kid. llewyn is usually a one round type of guy, but he wants to be sure that it takes. pretty sure you even leave mike with llewyn's sister and go away for a weekend but spend the entirety of it in bed because he's that determined to knock you up

The base for Cassidy in Yard Fire is Allen/Nemesis (Vanessa is small half of Rillian & very much more Nemesis).

So, yeah. Ik bit weird. But ages are 👍 (Cassidy is like round 15 or smth. Same with Garrett. Evillious Chronicles has Rillian be QUEEN at 14. So like. Yeah).

And then when Mike gets word of it, it's already days later of the "execution" (William still calls that an execution) of his brother (-figure. Just thought I'd say, that in Yard Fire; Mike & Garrett are related but very much see each other as siblings.. Abby was 1 when this was happening). And Vanessa already ran away, with Cassidy also running away(he ran away the moment he just did what he did. Vanessa was already planning to leave and decided to do it at the same time Garreth died so that was suspicious to Mike).

One post I did say, was on how when Mike first meets Vanessa he tries to kill her..but yk. She lives another day; cuz Mike saw himself in her. A lonely girl, with no one else (or so they thought. Cassidy is trying to find Vanessa. But like. Kinda short story; he gets mistaken for a bear (by a delusional person) when he was so close to reaching the Schmidts & Simmons (Vanessa)'s house. But. Yeah- bro gets mistaken for a bear and then just fucking. Killed)

2. OCs. Literally just any little guy that pops into anyone's head about any media ever. The joy of creation is a wonder to see and I have a huge love for character creation in general. Seeing them all be fleshed out with story hooks that help them fit right into where they're from while still being totally unique is just... *chefs kiss* Majestic. Extra points if they have a unique power set too cause I love love love unique powers.

3. GREEN. I look out my window and go feral tbh. NO idea what it is about green that just gets me going. It could be some miss-wired primal instinct that sees a plant and goes "Ah yes, weather is here!" Idk! I have a lot of green clothes and even green makeup stuff because of it though. Yes I do dress a bit like a cartoon character LOL.

4. Hostile, Angular design. Jagged edges that terminate unnaturally as if purpose built as a warning. Armor that itself turns the body into a weapon. Buildings so monumental in size they needs be like knives to cut through the wind that threatens to knock them over. Ships built to look as though they are spears, loudly signifying their purpose. Just... Ough....

5. The deep ocean. Looking into the most hostile place on earths surface and seeing life not only there but thriving? How anything managed to adapt to such monstrous pressure and oppressive darkness is insane to me and so so so so beautiful and important. There's a yt channel I watch that explores it a LOT too and I highly recommend their videos!

Hey, I know you're a Projmoon fan, I guess I'm curious because I'm at an impasse on what to do rn, did you play through the entirety of Lobotomy Corporation, did you just skip it entirely for Ruina, or did you read a summary/watch a cutscene compilation or let's play/something else? And what would you recommend as an approach? I've tried playing through Lobcorp but it's just extremely tedious and I'm considering skipping it to get to something I think I'll like more (Ruina)

what i personally did was um. attempt to watch an incomplete lobcorp lp ==> couple months radio silence ==> watched one (1) day of gameplay from a friend (for one boss fight specifically) ==> got recc'd summaries i slowly watched thru ==> couple months radio silence. ==> watched someone else's (actually complete) lp ==> (rabbit hole'd) summaries again.

im not gonna act like i Know how t tackle a series like this (since it took me like 4 circles around to Actually Commit to it (and also im kind of. new. here)) BUT from my personal opinion of the series and how it carries itself, i CAN recc at least Some order of something.

TRY to play Lobcorp! which i can kinda see is already done on your end. its something i Super want to try but absolutely know i wont finish SKJFNKDJF;; the main draw of PLAYING lobcorp is the struggle. it Sucks! its Long and Tedious and the game HATES you... and that's the point! it's plot relevant. it's an experience i didnt get to feel, but can so painfully just Understand by merit of watching someone else do it, only skipping about occasionally. tl;dr: the game loop is Telling A Story, Dragging You In-- THAT is the draw in insisting folks play it. it genuinely makes the... everything... hit that much harder. Once youve given it your best, dont feel ashamed to look for someone who's Done It! (i hear a lot of folks havent completed lobcorp themselves, so ✌) DONT UM . SKIP IT COMPLETELY THOUGH ruina is literally a Direct Sequel to it. i think it does a good enough job at introducing the setting on its own, but i am GRABBING YOU this shit will hit fucking DIFFERENT if you Understand. also its a lovely game worth looking at and appreciating bc GOD what a fucking experience those last few days are. i do not cry that easily to stuff like this but OUGH. AUGH. H

Wonderlab??? its a webcomic thats heavily reccommended you read through, but due to um. circumstances . it doesnt seem t be feasible atm. however, there IS a synopsis up thats pretty darn good! wonderlab, iirc, isn't directly plot relevant, but DOES introduce certain important concepts for ruina. however, it's not Mandatory, as ruina Also explains these things. as far as i know, its just a fun lil kickass story in the universe taking place between series you can look at if you want :)

Play Ruina! or watch, i guess. again, i watched an lp and it kicked the shit out of me emotionally (affectionate) so honestly do what you will here, i suppose.

honestly though, these are both super fucking long-ass and ridiculously heavy games so you're probably gonna be here a while. it took me like two weeks of committed watch time t look into Properly, and that was even when i started skipping straight to cutscenes at the latter half. embrace that! i cant stop you, but id heavily reccommend at the very least watching through the gameplay loop for a good chunk of the time-- giving the story that space really hammers home the... Everything. heavily heavily recc letting it Have that space.

for ruina specifically though, definitely at least watch through the beginning and ending legs of every fight-- and at least a solid chunk of every boss fight. if you're intent on skipping round gameplay loops like i did, imean. watch the boss fights watch the boss fights these fuckers do NOT play around. i cannot applaud these games' soundtracks enough and i wont say anything but trust me trust me trust me.

scout: well, flanking is something he's good at, and i'd imagine that would translate well into a heist situation! think of ctf maps for example, and how scout's are often seen going after intel. he is good at stealing, but might make the occasional mistake (it is scout after all /lh)

soldier: he probably does whatever is necessary, can adapt to most situations. thinking of soldier stealing things reminds me of expiration date, and how he took the bread and literally no one noticed? so with that in mind, he's suprisingly decent at being a thief.

pyro: well-rounded, i think. i can see them being able to do many tasks, and helping out engie set stuff up. would absolutely set off every alarm possible. may not be the best thief compared to others but tries their best!

demo: absolutely the distraction. he could blow something up to draw attention somewhere else, tell stories to distract people, etc etc. not the best at stealing but great help for not letting others get caught.

heavy: ough, this is tough one. i can't really see him stealing tbh, but would be great for backing everyone else up!

engie: teleporter goin' up! making quick escapes would be helpful. i can see him using other gadgets and what not as well to help out. might not be the best at stealing, but helpful to those who are

medic: i'm not exactly sure what medic would do tbch, he's pretty tricky to fit into the heist theme. absolutely there for the chaos of it all though!

sniper: get away driver! also able to distract, well-rounded in scripted conversations (modbot suggested this and i agree) honestly, can't imagine him actually stealing anything though, i feel like he'd feel guilty about it and turn himself in or something

spy: probably the mastermind behind everything. disguises and the ability to cloak are insanely helpful! spy is practically made for this stuff, heists are pretty much child's play to him. working as a team would prove as a struggle though, as he is an independent worker.

favourite insect is so tough actually. ok so weevils are silly looking with a silly name and lots of variety but i don't really feel special affinity toward them, beetles are cool too they're either really pretty or badass. moths are also beautiful and awesome and so cool but they also dive bomb my face at night sometimes and one of them decided to die in my drink which i didn't realise until after i tried to take a lil sippy and was subsequently sent to hell for a brief moment. spiders are epic i let them live in my room on the ceiling and they catch the mosquitoes and dive bombing moths so we're pretty chill besties tbh. i have not stopped thinking about the argentine ant since i watched the kurzgesagt video on them like. they're just lil guys😭 nothing particularly special about them really. 3. What ideas come from when you were little?

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure tbh! I could say my love for drawing backgrounds and hair perhaps? A lot of my earlier characters had some pretty fantastic and fun hair, and if I'm not drawing boxes or hatchmarks in empty spaces on my pages, then I was drawing trees. Writing wise,,, mm perhaps Calvin and Hobbes tbh. A wonder to explore the world, but also not shy away from it's edges, best you can, when they rise up round you.

6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously?

Ough, the only thing I can think of is Jubilations, how they drew people was inspiring and made me draw people as a result. Writing wise, I am almost positive that A Series of Unfortunate Events being The(tm) book series that got me into reading with the ferocious appetite I've got now has rooted itself deep into my creative subconscious somehow, though I could not tell you what marks it has left. I haven't read the series since middle school, so a reread would make those spots clear I think!

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what?

Depends on what I'm drawing usually! If it's a character of mine, I've got a collection of character playlists I try to pop on so I'm staying close to their vibes. I have "monthly" playlists I'll cycle through as well - monthly being in quotations because they tend to go on longer than that before I build the next one. Sometimes I'll just,,,, listen to the same song over and over. Yesterday I listened just to "Tongue and Teeth" by the Crane Wives, then after dinner, I put up "The Garden" (also by the Crave Wives) and listened to that till bedtime XD I try to match the vibe of what I'm drawing though.

Writing wise, if it's for RP, I'll use the character playlist. If it's fic wise, depends on the fic but it'll either be something I can tune out (instrumental and/or lowfi, or thunderstorms) or will drown out the rest of my thoughts (sometimes the fic's playlist, sometimes, like yesterday, it's tongue and teeth by the crane wives XDD)

Kinda :o!! I've participated in Secret Exchanges in roleplay groups before, and I've submitted my art to contests, but nothing fandom wise yet! I'd love to try a zine some day, but my tendency to lean towards slumbering fandom makes that a challenge

29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically?

This is a REALLY TRICKY QUESTION because I am a creative soul by nature. I get inspired by the clouds going by, by how my plants look during the day, just about anything and everything. I think the only, only piece of media I went: yeah that's perfect, as is, was Red Dead Redemption 2. I've reblogged art and gifsets, and read a very small collection of fanfic [it's a hard voice to mimic, I get it] but I've never felt the urge to create in it myself. I adored how the story went, and it's certainly spurred my cowboy love further, but Hell-Raising had already taken over, so it was merely feeding a fire already lit. Absolutely amazing game, 11/10, would wipe my memory to play it anew

I put a star next to the ones that are good on me.  i originally wrote “next to the ones i recommend” but of course every perfume smells completely different on every person so Who Knows. i don’t wanna get blog sued for recommending you a fragrance that smells like a butt on you.

★ annick goutal ce soir ou jamais - rose! big, overblown, spicy rose. musky. amber. really good! a little too floral for me personally but it’s very like a flapper wearing a rose in her hair & i would recommend for somebody else

annick goutal grand amour - unremarkable, thin floral. also gone almost immediately?? what even was this. annick. get it together.

★ annick goutal nuit etoilee - ohhhh, yes. soothing, but not boring. something like -- blue-gray forests and -- mint tea? it's cool and delicate and sort of cozy. mint leaves and resin. herbal, graceful, understated: warm tea and a pine fire on a cold night. it’s too elegant to be homey. it’s like if your ex-wife of 20 years invited you over to dinner and everything in the house was lovely and the dogs were asleep and even the trees outside tapped their branches on the glass just as you remembered it, but over dinner you realized from the coolness of her glance and the graciousness of her manner toward you, you knew absolutely that she had moved on, and however kindly she treated you you would only ever be a guest in this house -- your ex-wife might wear this.

★ l'artisan mon numero 6 - sort of woodsy and masculine in a good way! sandalwood, hibiscus. a gamine in a bower.

annick goutal petite cherie edt - can something be both powdery and juicy? pear and soap? it's nice -- very girly and sort of demurely playful -- but even with a surprising musky note down in there, it doesn't make much of a statement. 

★ atelier cedrat envirat - a greener, woodsier Orange Sanguine. in spite of the name, the cedar is much more of a basenote, a strong vibration; more noteable are the citrus tones, especially as it dries. more lemon-lime than orange. delicious and fresh and invigorating. i can wear OS at any season, but this feels very summer-specific.

balenciaga b. - fresh at first but then….weird old bread?? what? what is happening. it’s still not bad but there’s something so floury/powdery about it. in spite of that bakery/kitchen association it’s not spicy – it’s green & dry. Fine, but not a keeper.

cb i hate perfume burning leaves edt - not so impressive on me anymore. it used to feel cozy and i'd get a hint of rich woods but now that sweetness is more like....bbq sauce. like, i just smell like i wandered into your house with grill smoke in my unwashed hair. this is fine and great when it happens organically, but a lil too meaty for my taste in perfume. not great projection either.

cb i hate perfume i am a dandelion - sharp & earthy greens – what florals there are are more crushed than blooming. i’d want to layer this with something but by itself it’s too much mica/dirt on me.

cb i hate perfume wild hunt - WET EARTH. foliage and moss. ozone. that low alcoholic thing that’s very cb-typical. round dirt. fades very fast.

clean rain - cheap but good. nothing remarkable though and it fades VERY quickly to regular bar soap. you could get the same effect for a fraction of the price with that $8 cucumber melon body splash from bath & body works.

★ comme des garcons blue santal - oh HELLO good MORNING! clean, tomboyish, scented wood and juniper. a ski lodge smell -- outdoorsy, but more moneyed than natural. the perfume equivalent of super-expensive ”reclaimed wood” scandinavian furniture.

d'orsay intoxication - bluh. the two words that come to mind are “honey” and “widowhood,” tbh, which makes this sound better than it is. it's just a sort of indeterminate, dated chypre floral, with an old-lady's-bathroom musk. which is better than old-man's-bathroom musk, obviously, but i'm not into this.

★ demeter honeysuckle edt - as pure and natural on me as annick goutal’s way more expensive chevrefeuille. projection & lasting aren’t as good but SUCH a fresh, sweet, uncloying honeysuckle.

derek lam 10 crosby drunk on youth edp - your cute friend’s hair after a shower. fancy girl shampoo. then it blossoms out and gets deeper & sweeter--pure honeysuckle, but still soapy, hence the shampoo. lovely, but too $$$ for basically a nice bathroom-steam smell.

dkny be desired edp - starts w/ sweet grapefruit & violet – then that shampoo-y smell – then the shampoo gets synthetic. it’s not BAD exactly, just mad artificial with a sharper and sharper plastic line through it. although ooo, as it dies down it gets REALLY nice. not worth that early stuff but very sweet and sporty.

dolce & gabbana intense - strong & sweet. intoxicating but also marshmallowy? tuberose. kind of like a lollipop. yes. booze lollipop. i dig it but it’s too sweet to be a standby for me. although the boozy vanilla about 15 mins in is SUPER delicious.

elizabeth & james nirvana black - i’ve heard this suggested as a dupe for Black Orchid but nirvana is WAY sweeter on me. more licorice, less tobacco and the vanilla comes across much less organically. some scents kind of fold your own smell into themselves and enhance it? that’s the goal for me & this w/ my particular chemistry is like the opposite. very “mask”-y.

★ giorgio armani si edp - YUM. lychee with some sharper fizz behind. black pepper? then incense/spiced wood? super sophisticated & sexy. reviews say “vanilla” – i’m not getting that at all.

gucci flora glorious mandarin edt - a burst of tangerine, then low slightly spicy flowers. good, but not great.

★ guerlain idylle - oo. oooooo. delicious. this is described as a “floral” but i’m getting something richer – something of that amber vanilla musk that i used to get with Black Orchid. i guess i smell the rose under that. as it dries it gets sweeter but not in a bad way – fruit-sweet, like a wet raspberry.

★ imaginary authors cobra and the canary - tobacco, smoke, leather. very distinctive and really kind of nice. i think you could pair this with something femmey for a really interesting layered smell but WHO HAS THE TIME!!

★ issey miyake a scent - spring. sharp cut green flower stems. wet but guarded. crisp. lemon tree & hyacinth in the very back. like it a lot. as it wears down it becomes deeper and more floral – a wet garden. ★ juliette has a gun mmm - sooooo good! like….creamy white flowers and orange rind and cinnamon? as usual with white flowers it’s a little sweeter than the woman i picture myself to be, but true to its name it is DELICIOUS.

laura mercier nuits enchantees - VANILLA EXTRACT! so delicious but unfortunately then this weird powdery almost nutty?? note appears. almond? or wait: marzipan. ough, that must be the patchouli. yeah, no thanks.

le labo vanille 44 - so good at first! rich warm vanilla-extract vanilla. spicy. wintry. something a little like rubber or plastic – or playdoh?? – deep under it, which is the only drawback -- except that then as it dries it fades to just that rubber plastic thing. :/ this was a disappointing relationship.

miller harris la pluie - weirdly old & incongruous on me – like one of those perfume sampler packs i played dress up with as a kid. not bad, but seems to have nothing to do with my skin.

oscar de la renta something blue - PURPLE MARKER SMELL? remember those smelly markers and the purple one was really good? this is like a fancier version of that. then it goes to more complex flowers.

★ pinrose treehouse royal - this is SO FAMILIAR, why?? what is it? vitabath??? green, delicious, ginger underneath. cassis and vetiver. very clean. i’ve never tried pinrose before and i really like it!

★ pinrose campfire rebel - oh wow. oh WOW. green smoke. everything i stopped getting from burning leaves – none of that charcoal meatiness. just clean autumn air and good whiskey. i gotta get more pinrose!

★ prada luna rossa - POWERFUL dude musk. spicy herbal, amber-y. Very very masc. Feels like Jean Dujardin inviting you behind the boat house for a cigarette.

ralph lauren polo black a wealthy, slightly effete dude sauntering out of the locker room. tropical fruit and sandalwood. very clubby, but also VERY delicious – at first. unfortunately it fades FAST to Eau de Douche. like, not the vaginal hygeine product, just a douchey guy in a club. ugh.

ralph lauren romance - very femme perfume-y – the opposite of luna rossa. Flowers first – rose & lily? Feels like the dullest body splash you could get from Victoria’s Secret. Inoffensive, boring flowers.

stella mccartney sheer - fruity! a less strong l'imperatrice. juicy. sweet and soapy.

★★★ tom ford noir pour femme - ohhhh shiiiiiit yes. ohhhhh you’ve done it again thomas. musk and vanilla. warm smoke. cardamom. this perfume is a cardamum blessing. i feel so sophisticated yet sexy yet also somehow cozy and warm?? a femme fatale in an oversized sweater. oh god, it just gets better and warmer and sexier every minute. WHEN WILL I BE RICH?? @daeontherun bought me a tube of this for XMAS because she’s a SAINT and we all put it on and spent the rest of the evening deeply inhaling our own wrists. can’t recommend highly enough.
