DAY 2- FAVOURITE CHARACTER ARC:

REGINA'S REDEMPTION FROM THE EVIL QUEEN TO THE GOOD QUEEN.

Easily one of my most favourite arcs in the whole show. There's just something so poetic about the fact that pre-redemption, Snow was the one to dub Regina as the "evil" queen and then in the end, she is also the one to give her the title as the "good" queen.

So it’s been a while since I’ve had Byler x OUAT brainrot, but! I’m rewatching season 2 of OUAT, and guess what Killian Jones/Captain Hook says to Emma:

“I don’t mean to upset you, Emma, but I think we make quite the team.”

They become a canon couple.

I literally don’t need to say anything more. Byler endgame.

DAY 5- BEST DISNEY PARALLEL:

THE SLEEPING CURSE.

Something I love about this is the way they shot the poison apple/turnover scenes to mirror the original Snow White movie. With both Snow and Henry, the poison item they ate later drops from their hand and their arm is left unmoving on the floor, and in Snow’s case, the apple rolls down the hill, mirroring the gifs on the bottom right and left.

I'm really not into horror, but I can handle films like Scream. Anyways the point is, I watched Black Swan last night, and a few things:

1- This film had me so uncomfortable and disturbed throughout its entirety. There was not one scene where i thought I could relax and not feel on edge. The psychological element too, that really creeped tf out of me.

2- THE FUCK WERE BARBARA HERSHEY AND SEBASTIAN STAN DOING IN THIS?! JEFFERSON AND CORA, WHAT YOU GUYS DOING HERE?!

3- IF I HAD A NICKEL FOR EVERY TIME BARBARA HERSHEY HAS PLAYED AN EMOTIONALLY AND IMPLIED-TO-BE PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE MOTHER TOWARDS A DAUGHTER WHO SHE HAS PUSHED TO BE PERFECT HER WHOLE LIFE TO THE POINT WHERE SAID DAUGHTER EVENTUALLY REACHES A BREAKING POINT, I'D HAVE 2 NICKELS, WHICH ISN'T A LOT BUT IT'S WEIRD IT HAPPENED TWICE.

Did anyone else notice that the song that is playing in S3 Ep.11 when we are shown Emma and Henry’s new life in New York is the same song that is playing when we are first introduced to Neal in New York in S2

I love that Emma represented Orpheus going down to the underworld to get Killian (Eurydice) back.

I love that Emma's 'don't look back' was her trying to do the right thing and having to let go of Killian to save her family.

But she does look back.

Before she steps into the clock tower she looks back.

She's checking if he's behind her just like Orpheus did.

Love can make us do things when all the logic in the world is telling us not to do it.

Orpheus went to the underworld and looked back because he loved Eurydice.

Emma went to the underworld and looked back out of love.

Love defies all logic.

And just the kill us off even more, the next time she looks back, he is there.
