ONCE UPON A TIME 5.19, Sisters

thoughts while watching ouat 5x19 bc if i don’t compile them in one place i will flood the dash:

- sobbing every day over how baby gina just wanted a sister

- cora looked so proud when she saw zelena doing magic… i wonder if regina ever did any magic accidentally as a child? though i feel she didn’t because of how scared she was of becoming like cora

- the juxtapositions between david and james in this episode vs. zelena and regina… partially why this is one of the best episodes of ouat i fear

- BABY REGINA AND BABY ZELENA WERE HAVING A PRETEND WITCH FIGHT THAT MIRRORS THE ONE THEY HAD IN S3

- “just promise me you’ll hold on to each other” god i wish the writers took this seriously. they should have never left each other.

- “we never even got to say hello” I SOB EVERY TIME

- i know cora did not deserve a redemption arc, but i sort of understand that she went to the better place because like the other characters who did, she was able to make some sort of amends to those she wronged and had a sincere change of heart (again not saying she deserved it but comparing it to the other characters that moved on, it still tracks considering how it worked with liam and henry sr.)

- zelena getting kidnapped by a teenager (pan) is always hilarious

- last note: where the hell was henry this entire episode

OUAT episodes, season 5b’s ‘Sisters’ or season 4b’s ‘Mother’?

I love “Sisters”, I do! I adore it. But “Mother” is probably my most favorite episode of the entire show. So I’m going to have to go with it.
