This is a large mid-century modern 1950 in Ottumwa, Iowa for $395K. It has 2bd & 5ba.

This is interesting, you walk in the front door and there’s a foyer, then you go right down the stairs to the living room. 

This is so nice- I like the fireplace, it’s cozy, and there’s a view plus access to the patio. 

The combination living room/kitchen is lovely. Large windows and doors to the patio extend to this area. 

Lots of storage in this big closet.

Look at this- double islands in the kitchen. Plus there’s more access to the patio right by the grill, plus another table and chairs.

Has a beautiful rotunda entrance and dark wood, so you could do a Goth or Victorian look. 

This is nice, one of the doors in the cupboard needs to be fixed.

The mirrored ceiling needs repair- that’s something the previous owners did. The floors can be saved.

This can be a beautiful room. 

I would say that maybe the tub can be saved. (There are 4 baths.)

Looks like a ballroom.

Kitchen is too small and needs to be expanded and redone. Unfortunately kitchens are big ticket items.

I would save those green fixtures.

Favorite Number 12 Wapello Causeway through Ottumwa Park IA August 2015 Originally Posted August 30, 2015 Normally the front pond at the campground in Ottumwa Park in Ottumwa, Iowa, is aerated by a fountain, but the fish and game people were cleaning out some invasive fish and had shut off the fountain and poisoned the water. The result late one evening was a mirror finish on the surface of the pond which reflected the traffic on the causeway which bisects the park. Just to show how mirror-like the pond was that evening, I have posted this image UPSIDE DOWN. If you look at the “reflection” on the bottom, you will see details of the portion of the park across the causeway which do not show in the reflection on the water which is the top side of the image as posted.
