If I told you that my current DnD campaign I’m building is based in/uses as a sort of world hub a college town that is Just Like This?

It’s called Carath and the university is a very normal university with all the normal majors but it also does all of the DnD specific shit too which is how we have one character who is a Magical History major with a minor in Regional History, but also a character who is a poly-sci Major with a regional history minor

(And I’m gonna try and make them date but that’s a different thing #ottelia)

Actually all of the major student npc’s are majoring in:

-Magic history with a minor in philosophy (high elf Wizard, youngest of five brothers)

-polysci with a minor in regional history (another high elf wizard, the next oldest brother)

-Polysci with a finance minor (middle child of the high elf boys, and a champion fighter.)

-theology with a minor in sociology (high elf Paladin, second oldest of the brothers)

-a graduate student of literature with a theatre minor (the oldest of the brothers and the only even semi-functional of the bunch because he had to good sense to cut contact with his parents and do his own thing, he just got married and his husband is a half-Orc guardsman of the city and they’re adorable)

Next up the youngest brother’s girlfriend and her entire posse:

-pre-med eith a Philosphy minor (high elf cleric, babby wizard’s girlfriend, she could bench press him it’s wonderful)

-elven language studies w/ art history minor (high elf paladin, the cleric’s younger sister. Spoiled rotten and gets to do whatever she wants including get engaged to a tiefling rogue and yes everyone is a little confused)

-fine arts major with a literature minor (their older brother, in love with the middle child’s bodyguard)

-theatre major with a minor in ethics (the tiefling Rosie who is engaged to the younger sister, he’s a delight and is low key in love eith his theatre rival but in so much denial)

-theatre major, no minor but is on the fencing team (human rogue, best friends with the Cleric and Wizard and is crushing on them both but us setting them up with each other. Also in love eith the tiefling engaged to her best friend’s sister but she’s in denial abt it)

-just graduated with a docterate in physical therapy (Aasimar fighter/monk, the bodyguard for the middle sister. Their dad wants her to marry him instead of the Wizard cause of political drama but he’s just not into her like that. Her brother however...)

And the miscellaneous:

-magic history with a minor in regional history (Drow warlock, the one I’m shipping with the other wizard)
