TikTok is the bane of your very existence.

It’s the bane of your professional life as a chef because everytime you turn around one of your crew is using prep time to make a concoction and upload it to that godforsaken app.

And in your personal life?

Well, in your personal life, it feels like every time you blink you're being sucked into filming one of those stupid videos with your girlfriend.

The first time it happened, you were barely even sure what was going on.

The two of you had been getting ready to go on a date to a relatively nice restaurant, when she pulled up in front of her phone’s camera so she could show off what you were wearing.

That had been the beginning of the madness (as well as a very hard launch of your relationship to the public).

It didn’t really matter what you were doing, if Mary had decided that a video needed to be filmed, it’d be filmed.

A literal walk in the park. TikTok.

You driving. TikTok.

You tearing a member of the kitchen staff a new one. TikTok. (Although she’d been asked not so politely by the head chef to never do that again).

You cooking in your shared flat. TikTok.

Hell, she even made a TikTok of you sharpening your knives, a task you find completely mind numbing.

And if having your every move recorded wasn’t bad enough, she also had you joining her in filming one of the more popular trends. You mouthing along to the silly sounds that are currently popular on the app. Or worse, dancing, you hate the dancing.

Asking how often you think about the Roman Empire (only as often as you need to).

Throwing herself fully clothed into the shower  and singing Taylor Swift while you were trying to brush your teeth.

Making you record a two second clip of everytime you changed clothes while on vacation.

The list is neverending.

Which is why you should be more alarmed when you see her walking into the kitchen  with her phone out but you’re too focused on chopping the vegetables you’ll be using in your meal prep.

 “Baby,” she says.

“Hmm?”

“Can we record a TikTok?”

“Can I keep doing what I’m doing,” you ask in return, still not looking up from the cutting board.

“You don’t need to do anything but stand there and look pretty,” Mary says as she sets her phone up next to you. “And answer questions,” she adds as an afterthought.

You roll your eyes but don’t make any additional comments as you see her hit record.

“So a ton of you have been asking in the comments how my wife manages to be a professional chef when she has so many food allergies,” Mary says, looking directly at the camera. “And I figured it was better if I just let her explain it. Babe?”

Admittedly, you hadn’t really been listening to every word that she had been saying, only really listening to every word that she had been saying, only really catching the words ‘allergies’ and ‘professional chef’, which is a topic you get asked about a lot. So you just answer without really thinking.

“My main allergies are seafood, peanuts and treenuts. And since I’m one of 2 or 3 sous on any given night, I just,” you pause, “wait, what did you just call me?”

You can feel cheeks heating up as your brain finally processes what just happened.

“What? Babe?”

Mary’s playing dumb on purpose. She knows it. You know it. And you both know that the other one knows.

“Not that, the other thing.”

“What my wife,” she asks.

A cheeky grin breaks out on Mary’s face as she watches even more color rush to your face.

For you, when she repeats it, you suddenly feel like you can barely breathe and you know that your next words come out a little choked (much to Mary’s amusement.)

“Yup, that.”

As calmly as you can manage, you put your knife down and take off your apron before walking out of the kitchen.

“Wait, where are you going?”

“I have to find my wallet and keys,” you shoot back.

“Why?”

“I gotta go buy a ring before you change your mind!”

The sound of her laughter is the only thing you hear as you close the door behind you.

The video is up on that cursed app by the end of the week.

A photo of the ring on Mary’s finger goes up just a few hours before.

random headcanon Miquella, Ranni, and Godwyn were all in on the Night of Black Knives. Also Miquella and Ranni were planning on being each other's consorts once, but the Night of Black Knives changed that because they couldn't come to an agreement about how to handle the aftermath of that.

unpopular opinion Miquella didn't do anything worse than what Ranni did. But his age might have turned out to be a worse one than Ranni's (already kinda bleak) age.

What’s the origin of your username? Orpheus aux Enfers is the name of comedic opera most notable for being the origin of the cancan song (it’s really good). I sing opera and I’ve also been cast as Eurydice/in plays about Eurydice a lot, so thus the name.

Originally my username was “Allthegoodbobdylanlyricsaretaken” which is rather self explanatory.

OTP(s) + shipname: I have a lot ngl. for the character ask meme—Rykard! I’m always very curious to hear people’s takes on him.

I do love Rykard! Maybe one of my favorite war criminals in Elden Ring and also one of my favorite characters to be unserious about.

Favorite thing: I love that, despite being one of the easiest characters to confidently call evil, and becoming that willingly, he still has a heart for his family. Expecting Tannith to leave him and seemingly being understanding if that were to happen, offering her what he felt was a kindness to ease her suffering when he became the serpent, that she refused. And still being close to Ranni and trusted enough to be privvy to the night of black knives. I genuinely think he's fascinating all around even tho he is an evil freak. I'm always fascinated by a character who takes research to an absolutely vile route as well, and knowing he was in the Realm of Shadow for those reasons makes him even cooler to me.

Also his little legs.

Least favorite:

That I needed to respec to use the sword meant to make his fight easy. I thought for some reason I was the only person who couldn't do the easy mechanic.

Wish he didn't torture albinaurics, they've been through enough shit, but his character really is "guy who does torture" so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Rykard and Ghiza. Me and my wife do a bit where they're two fucked up dudes trying to pull at the club.

I love that Tannith is a monsterfucker. I love them. But I think most Rykard ships are good. We know he can pull. He was a horn dog.

-> Ngl, I don't really like Izumi. I can't say why nessicarily, save for her treatment of 03 Wrath and how she treated the Elric brothers, because I just. Don't like her? I dunno, all the mother-esque characters make me feel weird. (This would include Trisha/03 Sloth.)

-> I don't really have much to say about her in comparison to other characters ngl. It's also 1:25 AM so I don't got my mind all there.

-> I only ship Sig with her bc I don't see her with anyone else, and the two are canonically together.

My unpopular opinion about this character

-> Her beating the hell out of Ed after he told her that he and Al tried bringing back their mom was *really* uncalled for; A lot of her physical violence is uncalled for in my eyes, bitch threw knives at Ed when he was trying to get information from her. Unlike Winry, her violence doesn't come from worry (well, it does sometimes but it also doesn't; Izumi is also a grown woman whereas Winry is a little girl who ends up growing to realize that she can't just beat the fuck outta someone bc she's worried or frustrated with them because of that worry.), Izumi does it as a method of teaching. Even good behavior is given punishment.

-> Ed and Al are genuinely terrified of her, and when she hugged Ed after beating his ass; HE HAD A RIGHT TO LOOK AS BAFFLED AS HE DID.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

-> I wish she didn't beat Ed and Al to fuck like she does. Maybe then Ed and Al would've visited her or told her things, like when Ed became a state alchemist and shit. She learned years later.

-> 03 Wrath shouldn't of forgiven her. That's it.

-> That being said, I wish we could've had Izumi and 03 Wrath interacting more.

Chapter 1 - The Buster Brought Me Back

—The nitro!

Dominic's cutting scream was the last thing Brian heard before the chaos. Reverberating through his ears like a steady, distant echo, he fell flat against the the asphalt under the older man's protective shove. A frantic repetition that faded under his blunt weight by way of painful protection. A deafening rumble announced a blue fireball that exploded and climbed into the starry night sky. Soon, the rain of pieces of the stationed vehicle fell like menacing comets near the bodies of both drivers. The blond closed his eyes beneath Dominic's muscular frame as he felt the heat, as he felt each destroyed piece of the police-loaned vehicle falling around him. Barely aware that he had Dominic on top of him with the sole pretense of protecting him from further harm, he could only feel his cologne intoxicating him completely. It blended perfectly, almost as if that was the formula, with the smell of gasoline and fire. That was her scent. A scent he would remember and associate with for the rest of his life.

Dominic Toretto had saved his life after that explosion of the "nobody's car" as well as the encounter with Tran. However, as he moved his arms as all the chaos of the explosion ceased, he noticed the fierce splintered crystals embedded in his skin. The stabbing pain of the chrysalises only added to the sense of reality that he was still alive under Dominic's body and protection. He opened his blue eyes, finding himself hidden under the older man's neck, and could see parts of both of his arm's bleeding in subtle tears of blood. His baggy jeans had managed to cover him to prevent his legs from suffering the same fate.

He felt the elder's body rise under a groan, and it only took that movement to focus his gaze on his protector. Silently, they both rose beneath the chaotic scene and surrounded by vehicle parts that were barely recognizable. The burning smell soon replaced the scent Brian had been immersed in, and that caused him to frown in noticeable displeasure.

Dominic turned to take in the scene. Almost safeguarded by some angel, he noticed that no heavy or, consequently mortal, piece had fallen on them. He seemed to thank heaven as Brian got lost in Dominic's wounded back.

—God, Dom, your back.

His voice broke out without realizing it. It wasn't too serious, but it was shocking to see so many crystals reduced to fake knives stuck in his broad back. Dom tried to look over his shoulder, and then he understood where the sharp pain in his spine muscles was coming from

—It's nothing.

Lied. His black T-shirt barely concealed the delicate blood that wept on his skin.

—Let me help-...

He barely moved forward with his fingers stretched out when Dominic began to walk without looking at the blonde.

—Let's go home first —he interrupted—. We're not safe if the Tran guys are still around.

The blond closed the corners of his mouth and the tension in his fingers vanished in a sigh. He decided to obey, for the first time in a long time, the words of an older.

After walking away from the chaos zone and deciding to take a taxi to back home (which they tipped the driver so he wouldn't ask questions about their condition), they chatted during the trip about the confrontation between Dominic and Johnny Tran. Apparently, it had been a botched deal, a shattered relationship with the oriental's sister, and an unwanted turf war.

Brian wasn't sure if Dominic had invited him to his house that night because he felt indebted to him after getting him out of trouble with the police, or if there was something else behind it. A driver like him didn't invite just anyone to his home, to his safe place. Be that as it may, time was of the essence. His superiors wanted answers about the merchandise thieves and overtime as an undercover cop was piling up.

They got out of the cab and Brian could see the other person's home full of people and music. A party was going on inside. There were a lot of the cars Brian saw at the illegal race rally a few hours ago.

He walked a couple of steps to stand on the edge of the sidewalk as Dominic made his way to the porch of his house. He was surprised that the blond wasn't following him, so he had to call him by shaking his head.

—Come in. I'll give you a beer.

14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash? Well, it's like Lucanis says; Percy always knows exactly how to break apart his perfectly gathered clouds of gloom. Percy keeps Lucanis from getting too stuck in his own head and Lucanis keeps Percy steady! Also, Lucanis reminds Percy to eat and Percy reminds Lucanis to sleep and in general between the two of them they can make one functional person lmao. As for how they clash... honestly I don't know if they do? The closest thing I can think of is that Percy's chirpy "I'm the leader so I have to keep my shit together, don't mind me, no problems here" attitude towards his personal issues would come up hard against Lucanis's desire to keep Percy from ever suffering and that'd probably lead to some arguments.

19. How do they feel about PDA? Listen. Listen. There is no force in all of Thedas that can prevent Percy from engaging in PDA. Not even Viago can avoid PDA from Percy. He's gonna be all over Lucanis unless Lucanis specifically tells him to stop, and honestly I seriously doubt Mr. "Tell me this ends with me asleep in your arms, and I will kill any god you ask" would mind. That man loves this shit. Percy and Lucanis will be doing things like cuddling on the couch during family meetings. Percy takes Lucanis's arm when they're walking around. They flirt pretty relentlessly the whole time. They start doing this before they even get together because Percy demands affection and while I feel like Lucanis probably doesn't initiate PDA much I can't see him turning it down. (The one limit is they probably try to keep it to a minimum in front of Crows other than Teia and Viago as a precaution, but other than that... yeah they're all over each other.)

22. What reminds each of their partner? For Percy: knives, coffee, good food. For Lucanis: cats, snakes, the opera. And obviously for both most Crow-related things, particularly House Dellamorte and House de Riva-related things.

brOTP. godwyn and the golden twins... or especially miquella. godwyn and miquella seem especially similar, both being reminiscent of marika in appearance as well as being the "golden child" of their respective generations. i'm sure there's a lot more to draw from if i dig a little, too

OTP. godwyn and fortissax no question. GAY DRAGON SEX!!!!!!!!! and also the fact in and of itself that fortissax became a lich in order to guard his best friend's mutated corpse... ouuu

random headcanon. i wouldn't say i exactly BELIEVE he was in on the night of black knives, but i do think it's so fun to consider. a willing suicide framed as a murder opens up its own slew of new questions, but at the very least it's undeniably dramatic. godwyn having been ranni's potential fiance also fun 2 me

unpopular opinion. everyone likes to hoist him up as the One True Blameless demigod, which i think does a disservice both to the key themes of the narrative (dualities and all being with some amount of blame/harm), as well as taking "no proof" for proof itself he'd never done anything wrong. like, he was the golden child of the golden order. son of godfrey son of marika. come on. this guy DOES have war crimes under his belt

How I feel about this character

i fucking love Laurence bloodborne. He's such a cunt but in a very very compelling sorta way yknow. There's so little we know about his personality too, we only know the void he left behind him, and that in of itself is compelling but also i get to make up a guy which is my favouriiite. We do know he's apprehensive about the hunt and also a violent dictator which is soooo fun to play with because it feels like they should be contridictory. Love a guy who does mental gymnastics to justify his own attrocious actions :]

That's half a joke. I can see pretty much any romantic ship with Laurence working because he impacts every major character's lives immensely. So even though i only really view him as being romantic with Gehrman and maaaybe Brador (even then it's under layers of repression so they don't really get anywhere) I can see where basically any romantic reading comes from. It's good. Poly King.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

I have three!! Actually!! Ludwig, Caryll and Maria all have such facinating dynamics with Laurence in a toxic friendship sorta way and I love love love thinking about them. With Ludwig I love the angle of Ludwig trusting his friend to such an extent that he becomes a facist for him. With Caryll it's watching your respective peer and brother deteriorate before your eyes, before your gods. And with Maria it's someone you trust and have repor with waiting for you to die so they can massacre your people for politcal gain. It's good.

My unpopular opinion about this character

He's Bloodletting Beast. And also VERY violent. I think he's a masterful shooter and basically the reason Church hunters carry poison knives in their sleeves. He has assassins to make you think he can't hold his own in a fight but he definatly can. I've been meaning to write a fic where he slits the old mayor's throat and enjoys it probably a little bit too much.

Also he's fat not sorry. And very pretty :]]

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I WISH they had more time to work on his bossfight. The DLC was very rushed and we can tell from game data that the Laurence we fight in game wasn't meant to be him initially. I wish they had more time to flesh that moment out and didn't have to resort to a boss reskin that they already had done. Also that they kept that flashback with Gehrman in it's like where half my interpretion of him comes from I wish it was cannon.

your thoughts on the other (popular) yuuji pairings? 👀

How many hours do you have 👀

I love too many Yuuji ships for my own good, honestly. But I'm not much of a multishipper, so everything else comes secondary to goyuu. Buuuut JJK is also the first fandom for which I've liked multiple ships enough to try and write more than just my OTP, so it's safe to say I like these Yuuji ships a hell of a lot.

Putting it under a cut because concision and I are arch-enemies. Also, I don't want to clog up the ship tags with my ramblings, so before you click through, know that this talks about nanayuu, chosoita, itafushi, and sukuita.

Caveat that I've read very, very few JJK fics, so I'll be talking mostly in relation to canon and my own writing.

Here goes, in order of adoration:

Nanami/Yuuji

Their canon dynamic is so good; I love how Yuuji's exuberance contrasts with Nanami's reticence, and more than that, I love how they're both intrinsically kind in a really similar way, even if Nanami's version has been tempered by the harsh realities of their world. Plus, it never gets old just how much Nanami lets Yuuji get away with—I mean, Nanamin, seriously. He protests once and then goes "well, guess I'm Nanamin now." Amazing. Predictably, Shibuya did unholy things to my poor heart. When the "You've got it from here" scene gets animated, I will lose my entire goddamn mind.

That said, I started out liking them platonically, but well, other than vertical incest, there's no relationship dynamic that's safe from my gremlin hands, so I wound up shipping them sooner than later. Specifically, I wrote a goyuu fic with a heavy focus on platonic Nanami&Yuuji and plummeted headfirst into shipping them, so now I've got like three different ideas that's a mix of nanayuu and goyuu. If I don't write at least one of them, someone should punch me.

Chōsō/Yuuji

Listen, brocon just comes very naturally when Chōsō is involved, and it doesn't help that sibling incest with fuckery potential has always lit up my brain (Sam/Dean from SPN, Vash/Knives from Trigun, etc.). What I like about their canon relationship is the...imbalance that's kind of there, especially at the beginning. Chōsō has family revelations after hallucinating one near-death-experience-induced (and Yuuji's NDE at that) picnic scene and is immediately ride or die, while Yuuji's just there going "???" He's treated complete strangers with more delicacy than he affords Chōsō when they're alone in Shibuya, which makes perfect sense given the circumstances and Yuuji's mental state at the time. And even once Yuuji seems to remember his "mum" and realize Chōsō is his brother, there's the distinct sense that Chōsō's attachment is a hell of a lot more intense and more explicitly connected to the blood relation, as opposed to Yuuji's usual warmth to an ally and friend. And that contrast of complete, immediate devotion and cautious, burgeoning affection makes me want to do unholy things to them both.

Which is why Chōsō is currently getting enthusiastically eaten and eaten out by Yuuji in my Word document. It's not even subtle as far as metaphors go.

Megumi/Yuuji

A friend described my thing for this as a "tiny, doting crush," and it's pretty accurate. Canon sells this pretty hard from the get-go, and something that struck me is that, a lot of the time when you have a shonen hero who's dragged into a new world, it's a female character, usually the future love interest/main heroine/first girl, that does it. In JJK, you have Megumi in that role—fun all over. Also, the narrative is highly consistent about highlighting both of their complicated feelings about their involvement in the other's current predicament. Their interactions are also interesting from the beginning, both the lighthearted moments and the heavier stuff. And the manga panel split between a freshly Sukunafied Megumi and a very horrified Yuuji remains one of my favorites.

Thing is, since canon feeds me pretty well in terms of this ship, I don't feel much of an urge to read or write it. I have one(1) idea that's a mix of goyuu+gofushi+itafushi+goitafushi (it's...complicated), but it's pretty low on the priority list.

Sukuna/Yuuji

I'll be frank: I want to like this ship a lot more than I actually do. And that's mostly because Sukuna is a bit hit-and-miss for me. There are parts in the story where I've loved him and parts where I wanted to step on his face—not in the fun way either. And ever since he took over Megumi, I've been in "step on his face" mode. Their canon relationship appeals to me mostly because Sukuna brings out a side of Yuuji that only Mahito has managed, and their scant interactions while sharing a mind and body were pretty interesting. The blend of hostility and humor was nice, and I kind of like that there's pretty much zero chance of it getting resolved like with, say, Kurama and Naruto.

Anyway, I do see a lot of potential in this ship for hate sex, except what I'd like to see is a very specific dynamic that I haven't been able to find—and one that's complicated enough that I'm not sure I could write it either. I might try some day, especially if inspiration strikes.

[two-reflections]

Been ill for the past week. Still not doing great now. (More info below.) But whatever, I'm back, though I'd be surprised if anyone noticed I wasn't around thanks to my queue. 😅

Haven't written anything for MMM because I haven't been awake for long enough each day to do much writing aside from bits for the upcoming exchange. I suppose I'm awake enough now to do a quick story audit, though. Click the Read More to see what I'm working on, and how I'm doing.

Writing Audit:

Aside from the first, these are vaguely in order of completeness/when they're likely to be posted.

TOP PRIORITY - Fic for the summer exchange. I have been doing some reading, and have put together an outline. I'm excited about this one, I really hope my giftee will like it. The problem? If I stick to this outline, the story will be several chapters long, and I'm probably not well enough to write all of it before the deadline. I wonder if it's acceptable to only put up a chapter or two of a gift exchange fic and finish it over the next few months?

Of Steel and Flesh - The next chapter was largely written back in January after the game that inspired this story, but as a consequence, it feels a bit too much like a TTRPG summary... It needs to be fleshed out more. Also, should it be split into two chapters? Unfortunately, while I love this story, it probably takes me the most effort to write, so it has been hard to work on recently. (Update the next day - Put out a chapter of this! Took me weeks to get it together.)

Alpha Legion short - I have a Alpha Legion short I threw together for an MMM post a while ago but I didn't post it because it was more silly than hot. My concern with this one is that I could easily see it becoming something much longer, like Iron Will, Crimson Whispers did. I don't have the space for another long project now, so I've been ignoring this one for a while. But I like it, and it shouldn't take too long to edit it...

Even in Death - The final chapter is basically complete, I just need to decide if I'm moving one section earlier so all the flashbacks will be in chronological order or if I should leave it as it is so there is a happier flashback following a sadder one. Once that's done, I can edit and post it.

Vulkan x Roboute short - Started outlining something for a friend. The pairing is cute and I want to make her something nice involving her OTP. This one will take me some research, though, so it probably won't be ready until after July. (Update - I guess I have to put on my clown makeup now, because I was reading The Art of War for unrelated reasons and ended up YOLOing this one.)

July MMM - One of the discord servers I'm in has been very keen on MMM recently. We're choosing a couple of prompts each month. Problem is, I recently wrote two stories that were a bit similar to July's prompts ("It's raining outside" is a thing in Feel for It, "knives and blood" was a thing in Afterparty). I've got something ready for it, though. Just need to wait til next Monday to post it.

Techmarine Story - This one is still in EARLY days. It doesn't even have a complete outline, just like 7-8k words in disconnected sections. I think I may need to severely narrow the scope of this one and make it either a oneshot or 3-6 short chapters. But I can't think about it anytime soon now I've signed up to a fic exchange.

Salamander Slice-of-Life Romance - My comfort project. It's coming along bit by bit, I probably add about 1k words to it a month. Still, I'm not in any sort of hurry to finish it. This is the one I really don't think anyone but me will ever want, haha. It's literally just an Astartes' first year or two on the job in a reserve company. Lots of mundanity, city life, squad dynamics, smaller deployments, and a romance with his brander-priest. I love it. It'll be ready when it's ready.

How I Am:

Warning, this is kind of a rant.

I miss being well. I was SO prolific just a month ago, before I got Covid again and had to go off my narcolepsy meds for an unrelated reason.

Even mild Covid sucks, but untreated narcolepsy is fucking shite. I've been on meds since I was 19, so I forgot how disabling it is. It felt less crushing before I was diagnosed, but at that point, that was the only way I had ever lived. Now, I've spent eleven years without the constant sleep attacks, and I can't remember how I used to manage this. (Probably badly since I ended up doing a full sleep study, lol.) It feels like I'm out of practice, if that makes sense? This whole thing has really thrown me for a loop.

Aside from writing, I haven't been painting much because I fall asleep when I sit still for more than a few minutes. Coffee helps, but I can only have one a day, so I'll drink my one coffee and then get a decent hour or two of painting at most before I'm back to being a bit useless. That may sound like a lot, but I'm a very slow painter. So, that's no fun.

I really don't want to just complain. My life is great, I'm very lucky to have a lovely spouse and not to be in a position where my narcolepsy could endanger my job or leave me homeless. I'm also lucky to be in the UK, where my diagnosis was free and I could actually afford eleven years of treatment without difficulty. But, fuck me, I want to be able to do normal human things again without falling asleep. This isn't forever, I'm off them for a good reason, but it may be a long time before I can go back on.

Ending on a happy note:

Hopefully, two friends and I will get to play Blood Bowl soon. She has played the digital version, he used to play but hasn't played for decades, and I've never played at all, so it should be a lot of fun. Plus, if there's three of us, whoever isn't playing can sub in for me if I fall asleep, haha.

1. What if your OC were a villain?

OH boy, I could easily see both Kit version being pushed over the edge. If it weren't for Hannibal giving them a way to channel their energy and aggression into something productive, someone else would've come along and led them to channelling it into destruction and cruel violence. And while neither version of Kit is actually cruel at hearts, I could unfortunately see them just going batshit insane and stabbing anyone who gets in their way. They're not a calculated villain at all. They throw knives at anything that moves. Very much a case for the "I could fix them" meme.

3. What song plays during their fight scene?

For 80s!Kit? The A-Team theme, obviously! But aside from that, I could totally see something like I'm Still Standing, Crocodile Rock or Holding Out For a Hero. Something fast and 80s-adjacent.

Movie!Kit might get Circus by Britney Spears because... well... circus kid. But also Do It Like a Dude by Jessie J, Immortals or Planetary (GO!). Generally, Fall Out Boy would be a good choice, MCR or P!ATD also works really well.

OH boy. Lots of bickering. Eternal bickering. Also lots of gender.

For 80s!Kit: "Kit Kelley being a genderqueer icon for 8 minutes straight", which is a compilation of her correcting people on her gender, some very gender fashion moments, all that good stuff. "Kit Kelley making me a lesbian for 7 minutes straight", which is essentially Kit being hot in her slutty tank tops/tube tops, abs out, muscles, all that stuff that would prompt the "not to be a lesbian but" reaction image. "Face being completely whipped for Kit for 9 minutes straight", which is just what it says on the tin. This video has a part 2.

For Movie!Kit: "Kit Kelley being an acrobat for 6 minutes straight" aka all the scenes of Kit either doing acrobatics to complete a mission, stretching or getting up to acrobatic antics in the background. "Kit Kelley identifying as a problem for 4 minutes straight" aka this version's gender compilation with Kit hating on transphobes and saying the line that gave the video its title. Also has some small moments of just Kit being visibly trans thrown in. Going over the common ships for my muses and how I feel about them personally. Note: things can typically change with an individual portrayal, but these are my impressions from canon and how they relate to my portrayal. They are in random order...

Zuko

Zutara: I hate it. Sure, Zuko is easy and will be with just about anyone who likes him, but I just find this ship grosses me out in a way I can't articulate well. It feels disrespectful to Katara's feelings for Aang and I really like them.

Zuko/Mei: it was stupid when it happened and I'm glad they broke up.

Zuko/Jet: OTP

Zuko/Sokka: maybe maybe maybe

Zutoph: she seems young compared to him? Regardless of actual age, I don't really see it.

My fav ship for Zuko is a random crossover ship I write with my wife and it's with Elsa from "Frozen."

Sessomaru

S*ssinu: wtf no. Block me.

Sesskik: fucking no. Block me. Sesskag is the same level of ick.

Sesskagu: viable, but Kagura deserves better.

Anakin

Anidala: his queen, his BAE. OTP, even if they're so toxic I don't care I love them.

Obikin: get the fuck out. NOTP. Let them be complicated and platonic. I HC they are ridiculously intimate, but with zero sex or sexual energy. They shower together in a single stall and shave each other, but they don't see each other sexually and I will not write anything simple with them I refuse.

Anisoka: NO.

Vader/Sidious: now if you want a fucked up master apprentice ship, this is the one. Maximum bad vibes.

Anakin could have any kind of random romance with most people, so I won't list them all out individually. But Aayla comes to mind as someone he could have been close to and possibly had an experimental phase with. /Shrug.

Inuyasha

Inukag: I have mixed feelings about what we see in canon, but overall, I like them. Idk if I would wanna write this ship or not, it greatly depends on the Kagome.

Inukik: basically the same feeling as Inukag.

Inuyasha/Koga: top tier possibilities.

Inumir: maybe maybe maybe.

Inuyasha is also someone who could end up with just about anyone. I personally hate the whole soulmates crap, as it ends up feeling cheap and lazy and lacking in autonomy.

Link/Mipha: sorry but no... They have no chemistry and Mipha has no character... I'll still give it a maybe though because individual portrayals may change my mind.

Link/Sidon: It just doesn't feel fair to Sidon. Link will break his heart.

It's very difficult to ship with Link. He hardly ever lets people in. You need to build up so much trust and communication with him and build up to it for maybe years or through different lifetimes idk. He also isn't interested in sex, so there is no seducing him. You have to win his heart.

Vash

Vashwood: OTP OTP!!!

Vashmeryl: GTFO. platonic love only. I viscerally hate this ship and no amount of canon divergence is gonna change how I feel.

Plantcest: NO GTFO. I don't have an issue with Knives taking advantage of Vash, but that's what it is. Vash could NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS be happy, comfortable, or satisfied with this and I hate to see abuse played as romance. Abuse as abuse, I have no issues with.

Vash/Frank Marlo: tbh that one episode in the 98 Trigun awakened this ship and I really like it a lot.

Vash is not easy to actually get close to, even though he is horny all the time and wants to have relationships more than anything, his fear keeps him away. He will come onto anyone relentlessly and then back out at the last minute.

Livio

Livio is aroace and only into platonic vibes.

Wolfwood is his best friend. He loves him.

Vash is someone he cares about, but can't really hang around easily.
