Hey hey Blerdy Tribe! I have some exciting news—I achieved YouTube Partner! Some of you may have noticed this past year that I have been working on more video content. Mostly Twitch stream VOD edits and shorts, but I’ve also tried my hand at doing video reviews. I am far from tech savvy, so it’s been slow going, but I have been having a lot of fun editing videos! Well, the hard work has paid off…

Wouldn’t even have to be about the drawing itself, like monster boys, otome games, projects you’ve got in mind/abandoned for reasons, whatever you think you can get away with.

I've seen people do draw over commentary before. But, I also don't think I have enough interesting going on my life to talk about even for a short video lmao. I was mainly thinking about having a persona and posting silent/with creative commons/public domain royalty free music videos. I'd have to think about it more. But i figure that's a decent start.

i was reading a villainess manhwa as one does when i suddenly got the urge to write this little thing. im not gonna continue it but i wanted to share it. i hope you like it!

“How did I end up in this situation?”

Blue eyes swept across the sea of people in the ballroom. There were whispers here and there, some people glancing over at the stunningly beautiful blue-haired lady standing by the wall.

“Aaaahh…I want to go home and watch stream vods and play video games! But that’s impossible!”

A perfect smile twitched slightly behind an aquamarine fan. The lady held her fan closer to her face in order to hide her crumbling composure.

“What composure? That never existed the second I woke up in this place!”

Lady Juliana Mintaura, the most beautiful woman in the Empire.

“That’s right…”

She is the daughter of Duke Nathan Mintaura, the Sword Saint and the most powerful noble.

“Indeed…”

But she is also the most cruel villainess with an infamous reputation.

“Yes…”

Blue eyes closed, the perfect smile crumbling behind the aquamarine fan.

“THAT’S ME.”

Inside Juliana, an internal conflict was happening.

“Why did this have to happen to me?! I, Karina Weiss, am in the most dire pinch of my entire life! Or would that be my entire second life…?”

That’s right. This was not Juliana’s first life. The soul inside Juliana was that of a humble introvert named Karina Weiss. Born and raised in the modern world of her past life, Karina–now Juliana–was panicking in the midst of a party for nobles.

One month ago, Juliana had a dangerously high fever, and in the midst of her suffering, she remembered the life she lived as Karina. She was a normal girl who was quite the introverted otaku, but otherwise led a normal life. She didn’t have big goals like becoming a doctor or a lawyer, but rather she wanted to be a housewife and enjoy her hobbies. A simple happiness was all she wanted.

Juliana sighed quietly. “That was all I wanted, but then that damn driver just had to be texting on his phone!”

The fire of anger burnt within her and those who were nearby nervously shuffled away.

“This is why you don’t text and drive, people! I was just on my way from picking up my long awaited figure of my favorite character from ‘Winding Wonderland’ and then some idiot ran me over! Now I’m never going to get to play the event I was waiting so long for that had him as an SSR card! And don’t get me started on how scared I was when I realized I was dying!”

She sighed again, shaking her head to compose herself. She looked back at the sea of people, taking in her surroundings.

“I died and got reincarnated into that game I played, ‘For the Light of the Saintess’. I really just got isekai-ed, huh? Didn’t think I’d actually live out the life of one of my favorite genres.”

“For the Light of the Saintess”.

It was an Otome RPG set in your typical magic academy for nobles. The protagonist is a commoner girl named Marie who was adopted into a baron family. She was admitted into the academy as the baron’s daughter and over the course of the story, it is discovered that she has light magic, making her the saintess that will purify the world of evil alongside the men who adore her.

Of course, any otome game had to have a villainess to be the rival of the protagonist. That villainess was Juliana Mintaura. She was elegant and beautiful, but looked down on commoners and as a result, looked down on Marie for her commoner background. She was cruel to the servants and was quite the elitist. Truly a villain of villains.

“And now I’m that Juliana. Just like in anime and manga, I got reincarnated as the villainess. Not only that…”

She started walking, heading to the terrace for some fresh air. After confirming that no one was around, she sat on one of the chairs and folded her hands in front of her, nervous sweat falling from her face.

“I don’t even remember how the story went or what triggers the events! It was a fun game and I enjoyed it, but holy crap do I not remember everything about it. How did those people in anime and manga manage to remember every event and dialogue choice?! I have vague memories of how things happen, but a lot of it is pretty hazy.”

Juliana put her hands on her face in despair.

“Luckily everything that Juliana learned is in my head, so I can whip out noble manners and etiquette without a problem. That part is covered, thank god. But I’m still an introvert through and through. I don’t want to talk to these noble people as much as possible. There’s so much that goes into it and all I want is to gush about my favorite stories with fellow fangirls!”

Truly, Juliana was in the most dire pinch of her second life. Somehow, someway, she had to fix her reputation as a cruel woman and not follow the plot of the game. Easier said than done, but at least she had the grace period of one year before the game started to try and salvage things.

“Let’s just hope things don’t turn out like they do in anime and manga. All I want is to live quietly, indulge in my hobbies, and NOT get involved with the main cast. I just wish there were video games here…the internet too…”

Being the daughter of the Sword Saint and the most powerful noble meant that Juliana was loaded. She could laze around for the rest of her life, doing whatever she wanted

“I have so much money that I could roll for all of my favorite character’s cards and it wouldn’t make a dent. Ah…I could’ve had that SSR masquerade ball card…”

Her hands fell from her face and she looked up at the sky.

“Well, at least this game had a glasses character, my ultimate favorite type of character. Maybe I could get some glimpses of him while I try to fix up my reputation. That’s some sort of comfort I guess.”

Juliana looked back down at her hands and clenched them. This was her life now, and she had to deal with it. No matter what, she was not going to end up like the original Juliana. In the game, Juliana was executed for dabbling in dark magic in order to get rid of Marie.

“There’s no way I’m gonna end up like that. I’m gonna laze around and live a life of luxury! I know that every time a reincarnated protagonist says that, they get involved with the main cast, but I’m gonna do my damnedest to make sure that that doesn’t happen!”

She stood up, determination burning within her as she walked back to the party. Come what may, this introverted weeb was going to do her best to avoid the game’s story. A life of luxury awaited her if she could just play things right.

“Ah…”

Juliana stopped, putting her fan in front of her mouth in thought.

“I hope the heroine isn’t a reincarnated person hell-bent on making the story happen…”

All Aksys 2024 Stream Thoughts

So I thought I’d recap all the info Aksys has given us and my thoughts on each game announced to release. Now these aren’t really going to be reviews on games or first impressions, but rather gaging my excitement for upcoming titles. I did have a full day of work plus a staff meeting the day this dropped, but it’s been a few days since and I’ve had plenty of time to collect my thoughts!

Before we start though, let’s go over my predictions, hopes, and pre-stream thoughts.

Pre-Stream Thoughts

1) Aksys does more than otome titles. While I’m definitely looking forward to the otome announcements, I also am anticipating their other announcements for other games. I am mostly focusing on otome here, but I’m going to cover the entire stream reveals.

2) Most of my hopes I know are very unlikely, I just like to add them for fun and also to show there’s at least a tiny bit of interest.

Predictions

I think it’s safe to say we’ll get the fandiscs for Virche Evermore and Radiant Tale. I’ll be shocked if neither are announced. I don’t have many predictions other than that as I have no clue what goes on with picking what gets localized when and where between Aksys and IFI. I’ve seen a lot of people saying 9 RIP as one, and I’ll agree and say I think it’ll come out here in the west.

Hopes

These are all titles I won’t be upset to here nothing from. First, I would absolutely love for anything from Heart no kuni no Alice to be localized. The movie is what initially brought me into the genre, and while I know there’s a fan translation out there I would love an official release of a title. Second, as much as I hate most the Diabolik Lovers characters, that needs a port. It’s easily the most well known title of the genre out here and it’s criminal we haven’t gotten a port. I’ve played a title using a fan translation but only played the good ending of one route and a third of another. Third, another unlikely one but anything from UtaPri please I’m begging. I love the anime and if I could read Japanese I guarantee you all I would have played these games by now but sadly I can’t. We have Jack Jeanne as well now so I’m hoping there’s a bit more incentive one day for either Aksys or IFI to localize the series even partially. Next, any of the vita exclusive localizations. I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to play Bad Apple Wars. To wrap up otome hopes, Clock Zero. I’ve been wanting to play this one for a while. My last hopes section title, Agarest war switch ports. We have Agarest War 1, so I’m hoping we can get Zero or 2 next. I will buy these titles for a third time I’m not joking.

Stream thoughts

Death Mark 2: Looks like an interesting title! I’m probably not going to play this game, but I’m going to wishlist it in case I do decide to play it.

Tengoku Struggle Stray Side: OH MY GOD IM SO EXCITED! I have been wanting to play this game since I first learned about it, I am so excited about this! I’m buying it as soon as it releases.

Blazing Strike: I’m not big on fighting games, but I like the art!

Collectible Cards: I don’t buy physicals of most Aksys games so I don’t have any cards, but it’s nice they’re listening to their audience about them!

Tokyo Xanadu eX+: This trailer is a nice animatic, I like the song playing in the background. I find it silly that twitch muted part of the VOD here for copyright when it’s the official Aksys channel. I’m not sure whether I’ll buy it or not seeing as I have no clue what this game is.

Despera Drops: Unfortunately the VOD is still muted here, but this game seems interesting! I didn’t know if it was an otome but I thought it was, I looked it up to double check though to be safe. I’m surprised D3 Publisher isn’t publishing it themselves. Little frustrating it’s a 2025 release though.

Tales from Toyotoki: My connection decided to fight me right here and I kept getting frustrated. The fact that most this trailer is only Japanese was frustrating in the sense of I don’t speak Japanese so I couldn’t understand it. Would of been nice to have some subtitles since this is a stream directed towards English speaking audiences. I’ll probably grab it and play it.

Radiant Tale Fanfare: LET’S GO! I’m finishing up Radiant Tale right now so this is incredibly exciting. We all knew this one was coming but I’m still excited. I loved most the LIs here, so this is a huge excitement for me. Spoilers to my future review, but at time of stream Radie’s my fav so I am looking forward to his the most. I’m so excited for the Jinnia and Liyan what if routes too! Summer release date let’s go!

Virche Evermore -Epic:Lycoris-: AND THE VIRCHE FANDISC AFTER? Another we knew, but I am also literally playing through this game during stream. Now, I’m not as far so I am kinda checking out for this trailer when I feel necessary to avoid anything I don’t know. As always, Virche has god tier music, and I’m excited for this game too. I didn’t release that’s how you say the country’s name or Virche though.

Final thoughts: Aksys has some good titles coming out! I’m excited mostly on the otome front! I know people are going to be disappointed over no 9 RIP, but oh well maybe one day!

In my own opinion at the very least, it's actually easier to pick someone randomly. What I did, was to choose a game/stream I liked (for e.g, how I knew Axia was because Pokemon, Vox because Fnaf. Things like that)

You can browse to see if they have something you like, watch a vod or two from there and then slowly branch out! Because at least for Wave 1 - 6 now, they have had a variety of content to choose to start from so it's much easier to pick out a 'favourite'. You don't even have to just choose one because god knows how chaotic EN is HAHAHA

Of course, this is only my opinion so feel free to take that with a grain of salt!

Schedule

I work a few different freelance jobs and so my schedule is constantly in flux. I usually stream weekday at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM in the EST/EDT timezone. I'll attach my weekly schedule for the current week below:

Content I Stream/Create

I usually stream otome visual novels or joseimuke mobile games. Some of my favorites are Ensemble Stars!! Basic and Music, Bandori, Taisho x Alice, Tears of Themis, Hatoful Boyfriend, and BUSTAFELLOWS.

Sometimes I'll stream variety content such as JRPGs, scuffed karaoke (yes it is always scuffed lol), baking or decorating desserts (rare because this is messy and requires lots of planning!), crocheting, and cozy chatting content. I like to experiment with my content when I have more time in my schedule!

I'm currently working on a larger video project where I summarize the entirety of the Ensemble Stars story backlog and lore on YouTube. The series is still very much a work in progress but I do have a livestream VOD where I explained some basics about the game universe and characters which you can watch here:

I also really love music! I try to hold karaokes as much as I can and I've recently start recording covers songs! You can check out my first cover song below. It would mean a lot to me if you gave it a like as well!

Other than that I do a bit of voice acting, sometimes while I'm playing VNs I'll even try to voice over the characters. But mostly I just record short voice clips and post them to YouTube and TikTok.

A shower had never felt so good. You didn’t even care that it was cold, after months on that godforsaken planet you were finally home. As one of the few females on base, you got your own room but you also knew that more than likely Wrecker would probably be passed out on your bed once you opened the ‘fresher door.

He hadn’t followed you to your room after the mission like he normally did. Hopefully, it was just because he wanted a shower just as badly as you did. But you also couldn’t help but think it probably had to do with your behavior on the mission which you still needed to genuinely apologize for. You’d lost your temper when he made a risky decision, not following the plan.

“Why can’t you be patient for once?!” You’d shouted at him.

In the few years, you’d known the Batch, you’d never raised your voice to any of them. And definitely not Wrecker even in the past year you’d been dating. It was out of character for you and it startled the entire team. Even Crosshair was shocked. And the look your boyfriend gave you broke your heart. But you didn’t want to admit you were in the wrong in front of them. You just wanted them to be safe and if they thought they’d piss you off by doing stupid shit, then you’d be the bad guy.

You turned the water off before wrapping yourself in a towel, the standard-issue military towel almost too small to cover you properly. Walking through your room to grab your blacks you were disappointed to see that Wrecker wasn’t there. Well, you needed sleep anyway. As you crawled into bed, it felt wrong. Too empty without being snuggled up to the large trooper. Maybe things would be back to normal in the morning.

The next morning you wandered down the halls of Kamino looking for your squad. Peeking into their barracks you were disappointed to see all of them, minus Wrecker.

“If you’re looking for Wrecker he slept in the Marauder last night.” Crosshair all but growled at you.

You made a face, “what? Why?”

“You really have to ask?” He scowled at you, normally he was pretty neutral toward you but he obviously didn’t appreciate that you hurt his brother’s feeling.

Sighing you doubled back to the hangar. You could see him sitting in the cockpit, a pout on his lips as he stared into space. You walked quietly onto the ship, quiet enough that he didn’t look up as you walked up behind him.

“Is it okay if I join you?” You asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.

Wrecker glanced up, suddenly having his trademark smile on his face. “Mesh’la, I was just thinking about you.”

He pulled you down into his lap, his half-hard erection emphasizing his words.

“I came to apologize.” You smiled up at him.

He chuckled darkly, “I have a way you can make it up to me.”

You quirked an eyebrow, wondering where he was going with this. His sudden change in attitude with your appearance had you wondering what he was thinking. Granted his smile was a welcome change.

“What did you have in mind handsome?” You asked.

Wrecker pulled you back against him, his cock hard against your ass. He kissed your neck, the other hand pulling your shirt up.

Most people in the comments were rather straightforward and rational but there were those that are dead tired of the Luke will die and 2 doctoral degrees joke. There is a thing called scrolling past a post. If you’re incredibly offended by a joke that doesn’t harm you and isn’t even incredibly mean to your favorite character then maybe take a break from the game? It will still exist and you can pick it up again when you’ve cooled down. Also if you’re tired of the same jokes then create your own one.

The only time I’d find a joke offensive of a fictional character is if it is spreading misinformation about them. An oversimplified joke wouldn’t trigger me but one that actively demonizes a character will. people to this day who say zuko cannot be forgiven will catch these hands
