Website update
An update regarding the KOKIAfans blog: I have updated the discography page after KOKIA's announcement of digital releases for vol. 3 and 4 of her animal CDs. The physical releases are now sorted under the 'Special releases' category, as I had done with the first two volumes. The digital releases are listed as albums, with the original release date mentioned.
KOKIA previously announced the animal CDs would likely not return as physical releases after running out of stock, but they did return at least for the moment, so I'm not sure what her current stance is. That was the reason for my earlier decision to move them to the special releases category. If anyone has different ideas on how to handle this, feel free to let me know!
Tumblr media
I have also updated the title translations, as it turns out the full track titles of volume 3 were slightly different in some cases than initially listed. There were no full track titles for volume 4 online at all, so I only had the animal names for those. However, I now have the physical releases myself after purchasing both albums via her official webshop, making use of the service Worldshopping (banner automatically added for international visitors). My review of the service is under the read more link (overall positive).
I hope this means I can start translating some new songs in the not so distant future, but unfortunately, I still cannot make any promises.
My experience after two orders is that the Worldshopping service is fast and the packaging is well done. The animal CDs are not in plastic cases, but rather cardboard, but no harm came to them in shipping, and the box was clearly marked as having fragile content.
Worldshopping does ask for a fee to place the order for you, and the additional international shipping from Japan can get rather expensive. Service wise it gets my recommendation, but I would still like to warn you for those additional costs. I've seen negative reviews based solely on those costs, as people were unaware they'd have to pay for shipping twice (domestic and international). Worldshopping does tell you this, but apparently it's not always clear to everyone.
The process went as follows, with the timeline of my latest order between parentheses:
I place my order via the 'Add to cart' banner under each product. I pay Worldshopping a combined fee for the products, domestic shipping and service fee upon checkout;
Worldshopping then places the order on the webshop and sends me a confirmation of having done so (almost immediate, same day). Without an account, you receive a link by mail to a page from which you can keep track of your order;
Worldshopping receives the order and prepares it for overseas shipping (3 business days for the order to arrive at their warehouse);
Worldshopping sends a bill for overseas shipping, giving me a storage deadline of one full business week;
I pay Worldshopping for overseas shipping and Worldshopping sends the package to my address (I paid after business hours in Japan, my order was shipped the following business day);
Worldshopping ships the package overseas (arrival at customs in the Netherlands after 3 business days);
I have to pay customs to get the packaging shipped to my address, although that is no longer within Worldshopping's domain. It is still an additional cost to be aware of.
And there you have it! I'm by no means an expert, but if you have any questions about the service not answered above, I might be able to help you now.

Note
hey I was wondering if you live in Europe or USA ? And how you buy (if you do) the merchandise from Japan or Asia in general ?
I live in the UK! I mainly use buyee to buy stuff from Japan (from sites like mercari and rakuten). Like pretty much every proxy shopping site you have to pay a lil additional fee and the shipping will always be more expensive than domestic ofc but it's reliable.

sometimed it feels like japan, china and korea just... hate making money??
Like... why do you make it so fucking hard to buy stuff outside of your country?? I get it if it's like.. more niche merch like underground artists and stuff, they often won't really find an audiance outside of their homecountry, but like... when something is super popular globaly.. idk, maybe?? Try and sell some outside of the country???
This is absolutely NOOOOT a post directly directed at Hoyoverse and making it's merch fucking impossible to find online and me being really mad because I cannot for the life of me find how and where to buy the new HSR perfumes, specifically Aventurine's....... noooooo....... ahem....
But I often do face tgis issue with japanese and korean stuff, like.. trynna buy kpop albums is a hell, I always have to go through resellers on amazon and such,
If it's an older album, I just cannot get it at all, and lightsticks, other than BTS's they're impossible to find...
And like.. gods have I cried over not being able to find and order japanese merch..
I'm always glad when that worldshopping pop up comes up, cuz like, while it's gonna be 50$-75$ CAD more on my order, at least I'm getting my shit shipped...
But like fuck... espetially blue period.. it has such a big audiance outside of japan, yet, the collab merch is so hard to get.. I wasn't able to get shit from Burberry collab, converse collab nor the perfumes they released, and I wanted Hashida's so much.. :/
And figurines are the fucking worse..
It's always like do not order fakes!! They're made illegally!!
*proceeds to give zero ways to get them outside of japan* ... bruh.
Anyway.. I'm mad cuz after 7 years, I finished my Shawn Mendes perfume, and the two I've wanted (blue period & HSR) have both not had ways to be ordered outside of their homecountries... and if I wanted to rebuy my shawn mendes perfume, it was the 1st one when it released, so it'd be 150$ at least... so damn annoying... and me is frugal ✨️
The only way anyone is getting me to pay 150$+ for perfume is with fucking shipping and import fees...

Some news that I have been very behind on -
Capcom has announced their lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2023, which involves both an in-person and online event. The in-person event will take place from September 21st-24th, with the 23rd and 24th being open to the public, and the online event will be September 21st at 7:00 AM PDT.
Relevant to this blog, the lineup includes Ace Attorney 456! It sounds like it will be present at the physical event to showoff the stunning gameplay, and hopefully at the online event as well. This is the first time that Capcom has featured Ace Attorney at Tokyo Game Show since 2018, and this time they're clear about what they're showing and not teasing "unmissable announcements" (yet). I'm not expecting anything other than 456 information, and possibly a release date, but who knows with Capcom sometimes.
They also have an e-Capcom Tokyo Game Show special store, which includes ace attorney merchandise.
Edit: You CAN buy from the e-Capcom store overseas -- at least from the USA and Canada, I'm not sure about other countries. You have to go through the WorldShopping proxy that is on the page. It wasn't showing up on desktop at all for me, and apparently not working for some of my other friends, but it worked for me on mobile.
This includes:
Tumblr media
These little kokeshi dolls of Ryunosuke and Kazuma (already sold out for now)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These little plushies in a bag of Ryunosuke and Kazuma (which sold out FAST, but have a second run that will apparently deliver in december, however long that will last)
Tumblr media
Ace Attorney Plates, because why wouldn't you want them (also available in Edgeworth and Apollo flavors)
Tumblr media
Official Gavinners Guilty Tour 2026 Towel
Tumblr media
An acrylic stand for the 456 trilogy.

Half Time and More Merch!
This is the 41st post in the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection Countdown: 40 days left until release!
Today's topic: Half Time and some more Merch!
Woo-hoo! 🎉 We've reached the halfway point in my countdown towards the release of the Investigations Collection. We started at 80 days, 40 days with 40 posts have passed, 40 days and 40 more posts to go! 💃 Only 40 days! That's just a little over a month! Are you getting more excited? Because I certainly am!
I've been talking a lot about the Investigations Collection website, all the information we've gotten about changes and extras and everything, new art and all kinds of other details I've noticed in trailers and Co. I still have some topics left in that regard but it's probably not going to fill another 40 posts so I'm thinking about expanding my topic range, maybe to the content of the Investigations games themselves or additional content for Investigations outside of the games like the manga releases, for example. I'm not entirely sure though what would fit the best for the countdown to the collection specifically so I'm still thinking about it. If you guys have anything that you'd like me to talk about, feel free to tell me!
For today, I'm going to talk a little about some more merch I've found. These ones are available on the e-Capcom store, the store itself is Japan-exclusive but you can also order internationally via WorldShopping. (Never done this before so I don't know how well that works.)
Tumblr media
The one item that caught my eye immediately is the Framed Key Art of the Investigations Collection! How awesome is that! It's quite expensive but wow, I'd love to have this on my wall! This art is beautiful enough that it definitely deserves that privilege.
Tumblr media
Another one I love is this leather-like file with a stamp of Miles' image on the cover. Have your very own Organizer to sort all of your evidence and profiles in! 😄 Very thematically appropriate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And speaking of thematically appropriate, there's even a tea cup with saucer themed after Miles and the Investigations Collection! Apart from the image of Miles himself on the bottom, they're really styled after the tea set Miles uses in the game. So pretty! I'm an avid tea drinker myself so I'm actually quite tempted to buy this...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The other Investigations-related stuff I want to mention is a floor mat of Kay's Yatagarasu's badge (interesting choice) and this cross-shaped acrylic stand of Miles in his pose from the collection key art. I'm a tiny bit disappointed that he's the only character who gets one of these. Several of the other Investigations characters would look amazing on these especially in their key art poses! It still looks great for him though! That pose of his is just epic!

I really really hope if they make enough money they are opening up the pins and stuff for additional add ons or the disc worldshop to just.... Buy...
I really would love the Metatron pin but the lowest tier that has it is 800£ and I'm not interested in getting a cameo or the other stuff that would justify the price...
Pls just let us buy official pins of side characters T_T
Whilst we’re posting about Good Omens: the Official (and Ineffable) Graphic Novel, check out our GOODIES! 🎁

My Experience with Japanese Online Shops, International Shipping and Proxy Services
In the last few months I have ordered from many different Japanese online stores and I have made use of a bunch of new international shipping and proxy services so I thought it would be a good idea to sum up my experiences and write a little review so everyone knows what to expect. Without further ado, let’s get to it.
Content
tenso
Buyee
WorldShopping
HMV International Shipping
CDJapan
Amazon.co.jp
1. tenso.com
Tumblr media
A staple for everyone who wants to register for various Japanese services (e.g. fan clubs, streaming platforms, etc) or enjoys shopping in Japanese online shops. It cannot be said often or loud enough how indispensable tenso is for fans of anything Japanese, their service is a true lifesaver! The H-el-ical// Online store even recommends using them! These days many Japanese sites accept foreign payment methods but one thing that’s still almost always required is a Japanese address. And that’s where tenso comes in. They will provide you for free with a Japanese address and phone number which you can use to register on almost any site. You can have your fan club stuff and purchased items sent to that address (the tenso warehouse) and they will then ship it to you. There are not a whole lot of shipping options available but that’s fine. Air Mail is definitely their best offer but if your package is too big you will end up having to choose EMS (which is quite pricey but typically very fast - not during the pandemic tho, at least not for Austria). A big advantage is the possibility to edit the package description. You can lower the value of your items to avoid import taxes and custom fees in your country. Please note that tenso does require an identity verification which might act as a deterrent but I can assure you, they are totally trust-worthy and reliable. I get a LOT of use out of them. Of course I have all my FC related stuff sent to their warehouse but tenso also came in handy for my orders on Tower Records Online, Animate Online and the Universal Shop/H-el-ical Shop/mu-mo Shop.
※ With the exception of the Universal Shop, I was able to pay at all the above mentioned stores with my foreign VISA.
2. Buyee
Tumblr media
Another staple and the very first proxy service I ever used. You will need them in all those places that do not accept foreign payment methods (there are still too many out there unfortunately). Their customer service is impeccable and I have never had issues with them. They have gone as far as to contact Japanese stores on my behalf even though it is not part of their usual service. They offer a very wide range of features and shipping options, their service fees are also not too high (although I will admit that they have slightly increased throughout the years). They operate on so many different Japanese online shops, it’s rare to find a big store that does not collaborate with them. Also, if you want to thrift Kalafina related items, THIS is your go-to service. Be it Yahoo Auctions, Mercari or Suruga-ya, you can use Buyee on all those sites. They even have their own English user-interface for some of the major Japanese online stores and you can take advantage of their browser add-on which makes shopping a lot easier. The only downside is that they will not allow edits to the package value so if you live in a bureaucratic country like myself with very strict tax and custom regulations, you will have to make sure to send your packages wisely or just expect to pay quite a lot of fees. This time I used them to order my Wakana cover album copies from Rakuten Books (I REALLY wanted their tokuten). Since Buyee offers the biggest variety of shipping options, I got these copies before anything else, they were here super fast.
※ It’s funny how I am able to register my credit card for Rakuten Pay in order to purchase music on mora.jp but I cannot use that very same credit card to actually buy stuff on Rakuten.
3. WorldShopping
Tumblr media
A fairly new service as far as I know but it seems like they are quickly expanding and trying to give Buyee a run for their money. Their banner has been popping up on almost all Japanese sites I have visited in the past few months but up until recently I wasn’t really feeling like trying a new service (I am always hesitant when it comes to new stuff). At least until I found myself in dire need of the Sofmap store specific tokuten for Wakana’s cover album XD. Unfortunately Sofmap does not accept foreign payment methods and Buyee also does not operate on their site so I took a leap of faith and made my purchase through WorldShopping since their banner looked so inviting. It was surprisingly straighforward since they are providing their own interface on the Japanese sites. I didn’t even have to go to the WorldShopping main page to register or anything before using the service. Their fees are acceptable but not exactly low. I was a little wary because I didn’t have a proper account but they did provide a link in the initial email where I could more or less keep track of everything. It took VERY long for my purchased item to be registered at their warehouse (for tenso and Buyee it takes around 1 day) and I didn’t get a notification email that it had arrived so those are not the best aspects of their service. The only shipping method they seem to offer is EMS (which again, is very pricey). Anyways, at the end of the day, my package arrived unscathed in Austria (including the tokuten) so I am a happy camper. While I will probably not be using their service regularly in the future I can still recommend WorldShopping to you with a clear conscience. But please keep in mind to check your status link regularly!
※ Please note that the WorldShipping interface in Japanese online shops overrides the site’s very own purchasing option so if you want to make an order using your own account with your tenso address and a domestic shipping method (let’s say in the mu-mo shop for example) you will have to deactive all WorldShopping services on the page.
4. HMV & BOOKS Online International Shipping
Tumblr media
Another first for me. I had no idea they offered international shipping so when I saw the little button on KEIKO’s Lantana page, I couldn’t resist. Since Amazon.co.jp is no longer an option for me, I was desperate to find other stores that offered international shipping and tokutens. Unfortunately, their international shipping service is not a very good replacement for Amazon.co.jp since it takes VERY long. I registered as a guest and made my order without any trouble. I expected them to ship the item on the release day (or the day prior) but that was not the case. I am almost entirely sure that they use a “hidden” proxy service but still promote it as direct shipping. Which is why the process is taking so long. I think it wasn’t until the fifth day after the release date that I finally received the shipping confirmation. Also, don’t get thrown off by weird phrasing in their e-mails. They kept saying that they had shipped “the first part of my order” when in fact there was only one part. Since they only offered EMS as shipping option it once again took quite a while for the package to get to me even though the shipping fee was very high (please note that EMS is typically very fast but as I mentioned earlier, COVID-19 has changed everything). Overall, I can’t really complain about their service, if you are willing to wait a while, HMV International Shipping is definitely worth a try. HMV always have some of the best tokutens so be sure to check it out.
※ I originally tried to register properly but that turned out to be quite complicated so I recommend registering as a guest just like I did.
5. CDJapan
Tumblr media
The first site I ever used to order Kalafina-items. I have never had issues with them. They are very reliable and of course the best thing is that they ship directly to your country. However, these days I hardly ever shop at CDJapan anymore because they rarely have tokutens. Also, items you purchase on their site will not be calculated into the daily and weekly sales data for Oricon music charts so that sucks. As you know, I want to support my girls as best as possible (and that means contributing to their chart numbers). Sometimes CDJapan do offer tokutens so they are definitely a viable option for foreign fans. They have lots of payment and shipping methods to choose from and typically their packages arrive very quickly. I bought Hikaru’s RE of “disclose” (only the LE came with tokutens) and one of my “Lantana” copies (CDJapan did in fact have a tokuten for that. YAY).
※ If for some reason, CDJapan isn’t your cup of tea or doesn’t work for you I think YESASIA is a good alternative. However, I haven’t used their service yet so I am not sure how reliable they are. They offer free shipping if your order total exceeds a certain amount so that’s definitely pretty neat!
6. Amazon.co.jp
Tumblr media
Amazon.co.jp has been very reliable for the past few years but this year they have really let me down. Just like HMV they do offer an international shipping service but theirs is actually a DIRECT shipping service and it’s SUPER fast. Also they estimate the import/customs fees of your respective country and they charge a deposit which they can use to pay the customs office to speed up the shipping procedure. If this doesn’t happen, packages will usually end up being stuck at customs for a very long time until they have been processed. Last but not least, they often have some of the coolest and most unique tokutens. These are all reasons why I loved to use them but it seems like the pandemic screwed things up for many foreign fans. When I was logged in and checking the product pages of the Kala-solo-releases, they would either show me that everything was out of stock from the get-go or no longer shippable to my country. However, when I wasn’t logged in and checked the Japanese version of the product page I saw that there were in fact still copies available. Now that the pre-order period is over they seem to have restocked a little bit and some versions have finally become available again for foreigners. For example, I could now technically order the LE of “Lantana” with a tokuten. I really wonder why that stuff wasn’t there when I needed it *grumbles*
※ I am not 100% sure if the pandemic caused all these issues but I kinda hope that was the reason because that would mean that next year things will hopefully work fine again. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

Buying IkeSen Merch From Other Sites:
In case anyone else wants to know where else I buy my merch from other than Buyee. I seldom come to these sites, but I do check up on them from time to time.
CDJapan
AmiAmi
CDJ and AmiAmi will almost always have the same merch and availability.
Animate International
Animate USA
EN Cybird’s official Ikemen Series merch sites.
Nadema
Cybird’s official Ikemen Series merch site. They do not ship internationally, but WorldShopping is partnered with them. Their proxy fees are a bit higher than Buyee.
Ebay
GoodsRepublic
I don’t like to rely too much on these two especially GoodsRepublic. I find the prices on there to be really, really expensive. For the things I find here, I am more than likely to find it cheaper on YAJ. I’ve only used ebay like three times to get merch and GR once.
Special Shoutout:
I’ve mentioned her before in numerous posts, and it’s also thanks to her that I’ve been able to grow my collection over and over again. Tumblr user lydskisses sells Ikemen Series merch. She also sells SLBP merch and MLQC. Give her blog a check if you are interested!

tried to download an app to watch a japanese channel so i could watch the livestream of yuzu’s show tomorrow night
but my fucking laptop wouldn’t allow me to open it and it was such a hassle to try and forgo the fucking preventative measures (i confirmed online reading various accounts that it is NOT malware) that i just decided to use another one
but that one had been a FREE one month trial
and this one was $3.50 for 3 days
and i was like whatever it’s cheap it’s fine
and it was recommended! by yuzu fans!
so i tried!
and it just WOULDN’T WORK
it charged me through fucking paypal,. paypal verified it, seems fine
but i couldn’t fucking REGISTER AN ACCOUNT i was supposed to get an EMAIL to register the account! but i couldn’t!
i tried using the code as my password, but that didn’t work
then i tried registering again but it said i’d already been registered
WHICH IS NOT TRUE BECAUSE I CANNOT SIGN IN
and so i tried the “forgot my password” thing and i didn’t even get THAT email
so then i had to go to dispute it through paypal
but they have a message on there to convince you NOT to
so i did what it said--forward the receipt email to them and request a refund
and i just--I’M SO DONE.
and then on TOP of that
worldshopping fucking cancelled my ENTIRE ORDER of yuzu merch FOR NO FUCKING REASON and WOULDN’T REINSTATE IT
i FINALLY got my refund from them, but i just had to try and REORDER the items they cancelled
but i could only add ONE item to my cart! the t-shirt that i wanted KEPT GIVING ME AN ERROR. so i reported the error to them! bc it was ONLY those TWO items (the two t-shirts) that wouldn’t add to the cart!
and then they respond w screenshots saying “look it’s fine, it works. clear your cache. it’s your fault.”
NO IT’S NOT!!!! I CAN ADD OTHER ITEMS TO MY CART NO FUCKING PROBLEM *IT’S YOUR FUCKING FAULT*!!!!!!
i’m so tired of this
i’m so past the end of my rope and i just want to experience something that’ll make me happy and instead i feel like i’m being cheated and scammed and i HATE making these kinds of decisions alone, i hate it i FUCKING HATE IT
i’m just really overwhelmed and i just feel STUPID i feel so fucking stupid and i’m tired and i just want this to WORK
PLEASE
eta
i sent in a request for a refund and they just said “look in the spam folder” I ALREADY CHECKED THERE A MILLION FUCKING TIMES
and then they GAVE ME a password
so i log in
and now i’m running into the SAME FUCKING ISSUE that i CAN’T OPEN THE APP bc my laptop WON’T LET ME
and i’d have to go through all of this bullshit to open it and I DON’T WANT TO! AND IF I HAVE TO DO THAT THEN I WANT THE FREE APP, ANYWAY! GIVE ME BACK MY FUCKING MONEY!
i’m so tired and i HATE this kind of shit it freaks me out so fucking badly I HATE THIS

KOKIA updates: March 2024
Below, I have summarized KOKIA’s recent announcements and messages. As explained here, this will remain the style of updates for now. It has so far worked out that I end up summarizing posts every month, so below are the updates from March.
Tumblr media
Once-in-a-lifetime meetings tour
Tumblr media
KOKIA had her first performance in her Once-in-a-lifetime meeting concert tour on March 10 in Kyoto. She talks about this ahead of the concert in her blog entry of March 7, looking forward to returning to Kyoto for the first time in quite a while.
In her blog entry of March 12, she reflects on the concert. The photo she attached to the entry is of the concert hall (the Kyoto Cultural Museum annex hall), as she really enjoyed the atmosphere, with the echoes from the high ceilings and the light coming in through the windows during magic hour right before sunset. (See also her Instagram post.) She was able to hold an autograph session, and enjoyed talking to people from the Kansai region this time. She hasn't been here in a while, so there were also some people who hadn't been to her concerts before or hadn't been able to go in a long time.
She's enjoying the difference of a tour versus performing in her home city of Tokyo and looks forward to her next concerts in the prefectures of Oita and Saga, coming up in April. She's never performed solo there before, but she's managed to almost sell out those performances already. The Tokyo performance in May is already sold out.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Releases
No more performances in March, but KOKIA does announce merchandise for her current tour in her blog entry of March 17. Rolling with the theme of a once-in-a-lifetime meeting, KOKIA decided on an encounter with the unknown that would certainly be once in a lifetime: an alien! The T-shirt (black, new model for comfortable wear) and blouson (white, same model as for her 25th anniversary). Due to production costs, there will be limited numbers for sale, so she is currently running a pre-sale on her official webshop from March 18 to April 7. The merchandise should be shipped in time for the performance in Tokyo in May and will be signed if ordered via the webshop. They will also be for sale at the Tokyo concert, but if you don't want to miss out (and get it signed), ordering via the web shop is your best bet.
On a side note, some previously unavailable items such as the 3 albums in the Stars series, most of the Animal CDs, her 25th anniversary album ánd the limited edition Blu-ray of her 25th anniversary concert are back in stock, so if you've missed out before, now is your chance! International visitors will get the banner for WorldShopping enabling to place their orders too.
And finally, after the initial digital release of disc 1 of The Lighthouse, KOKIA announces on March 12 that the second disc is now also digitally available via various sources. Here is the direct link.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Other news
As previously mentioned, KOKIA shares on March 12 that she now has an account on Twitter/X, KOKIAofficial. As she uses her blog for her longer thoughts, her photos on Instagram, songs on YouTube and news on her homepage, she was missing a channel to very quickly share short updates. She decided to give Twitter a try for this, intending to only use it for quick, time-sensitive news such as ticket information, releases and sales. So, if you have an account, you can now follow KOKIA!
Tumblr media
KOKIA also announced on March 12 that Kaji Fes 2023, which she performed at as a guest, will be broadcast on TBS Channel 1. March 23 was the original air date for day 2, KOKIA's performance day, but there will be reruns on April 7 (18:00-20:00 for day 1, 20:00-23:00 for day 2). The official page for this broadcast can be found here.
Finally, taking a peek at her Instagram, KOKIA teases she's recording a music video for the first time in a long while, so that's something to look forward to!

Q: Why are you making these threads?
A: From experience I know how expensive it can be importing albums from south korea and I would like to give everyone the chance to support their favourite artist by listing different options.
I DO NOT encourage nor am I trying to pressure anyone into buying multiple of the same album if they don't want to / can't afford it.
Q: Which groups do you make threads for / do not make threads for?
A: I mainly focus on my favourite groups/artists:
Wheein, LunarSolar, Boramiyu, Younha, Craxy & Bol4.
If time allows me to I will also do nugu girl groups (less than 20k first month sales).
I generally don't do groups from the big 3, hybe or survival shows.
You can see a full list of groups I keep up with (in terms of comebacks) here.
Q: How often do you update?
A: I update as often as possible. Please note that I have full time jobs so sometimes updates may be delayed.
I usually also only update when I have a couple stores to add. Exceptions may occure with fansign / special event links.
Q: How long do you update?
I update the threads until the day of release. All fansigns / other special events announced after release won't be added anymore.
Q: Are the stores you list legitimate?
A: Yes, all stores I list are legitimate. I research the stores before putting them in the threads. Should I be unsure about a shop I will mention it in the thread.
Q: Do you know of a proxy to use for the japanese stores?
A: Trust worthy proxy services that are advertised by alot of japanese stores are: Buyee, WorldShopping, Neokyo.
Q: I'm a fanbase admin. Are we allowed to copy your thread / use the information provided for our carrd?
A: Yes, of course. All of it is public information and can be used by everyone.
For any further questions do not hesitate to message me.

Proxy is actually how I got the tbea jp disc because i really wanted that picnic cover lmao.
Throwing in my two cents on proxy; for store (and collab merch) it depends. Majority of the time they’ll have an online store. Considering Oh My Cafe is an (official?) disney/pixar collaborative cafe, it has one. I’m going to assume there are probably some stores don’t have that option, (but I haven’t actually seen one yet) and can only be found in-stores, then you’d need to know someone who goes to collab cafes, since collabs aren’t there for long -> limited stock.
Ooor you just have to be extremely extremely lucky. One time I went to a certain japanese bookstore and they had leftover cafe collab merch which was interesting because 1) the collab cafe does not exist overseas 2) the store is not animate lmao  (animate cafe does collabs too but that’s another thing for another day) Another thing to keep in mind is some people buy merch and then resell -> Yahooauction (ヤフオク), mercari, ebay, previously otamart rip,  mandarake, surugaya, etc (this is where the chara tax and bidding wars (depending on merch + fandom) comes in tho so beware lol) . Probably doesn’t count as proxy but depending on pricing I’d say it’s on the cheaper side.  There are several proxy sites so it doesn’t hurt to look around and some sites even have a proxy service offered, like Tower Records (yeah the name lives on in jp) where I bought tbea jp dvd. But they usually work the same way. Request item -> invoice reply on whether or not it’s buyable (although some proxy’s have webpage downloads and those add-on’s tend to mention if you can use their service there or not (buyee, tenso (iirc)) )  -> pay first shipping rate to warehouse -> second shipping rate for overseas -> arrival
Other services: worldshopping, fromjapan, zenmarket
Sometimes people on twitter post cafe merch such as bromides/pins/keychains/coasters (yes even coasters) to trade but it doesn’t hurt to ask if you can buy w/o the trading part.  Those same people on twitter will likely open merch orders too if they also run a proxy service (i know a few but for another fandom)  tl;dr proxy world is big you’ve got a lot of choices to choose from
Can you recommend a proxy service for overseas Tangled merch? The Rapunzel in the Tower Cafe merch is so pretty. I would love to purchase some before it gets sold out.
Unfortunately, I cannot. Any overseas merch I have I either got as a gift or bought it from someone with a proxy.

Yet more crap about Amazon has been floating in the breeze lately, and I can’t help having a feeling of anemoia or maybe even a moment of tangency. A longing for a world that could have been if things had turned out just a little bit different.
At around the same time that Amazon was starting up, my dad worked at a similar startup company trying to provide the same service that Amazon now provides. It was a dysfunctional little mess, as all startup companies are, called Worldshop. It collected a couple of clients, a few vendors, a few users, but what it never collected was backers. Other similar companies walked in just behind it and beat it out in presentation every single time. Those companies made it up, battled to the death, and at the end of that process we were left with Amazon.
But every time I hear these things about Amazon, every time I’m reminded again of Amazon’s influence, I wonder what the world would look like if Worldshop, or any of the other companies all fighting to be what it became, had won instead.
I read articles explaining how Amazon kills brick and mortar bookstores and publishing companies while stealing money and business from independent authors and remember that one of Worldshop’s first partners was Barnes and Noble.
I hear some of my tech savvy friends complaining that Amazon is taking over consumer electronics and encouraging unfair trades and think of my dad going on about how Worldshop shared trade and tech tips back and forth with Radio Shack, helping them build their ‘online presence’ in the early days of the internet to get ahead of potential competitors.
As for ethical concerns, Amazon supporting ICE and mistreating their employees and vendors alike, I like to think it wouldn’t be if it had been Worldshop. If it had been any of the other startups all battling it out for the space that Amazon won, I like to think we would live in a different and maybe even a better world.
Of course, there's no point crying over it. as Captain Picard said, “It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life.”
So here’s to Worldshop and all the other endeavors and entrepreneurs whose names will never be known. To those who did everything right and still lost. Here's to life.
And to the small business that hold on, but will never be able to see the view from the top. Companies that still hold tightly to ethical business practices, to fair trade and equitable treatment, to environmental conservation, to the thrill of making for the sake of making, and selling for the consumer, not just for the dime.
And to Barnes and Noble, Radio Shack, and every other company that made it to the top and is now being pushed down and drowned out by a single domineering force, a changing tide, and changing times.

Get the Best Value for Your Miles with Reliable Miles Brokers
When you get a reward for availing a service as a part of their loyalty program, it is a very great feeling, isn’t it? Well, getting extra points and prospective discounts in the form of air miles from your airlines can be very pleasing. While you are happy to have the reward points have you ever thought of redeeming your Lufthansa collect miles (Lufthansa meilen sammeln) for something other than the flight tickets that they offer or the products that you see at Lufthansa Worldshop? If not, then it is time that you think of this now.  Instead of redeeming your hard-earned points for a low value, you can get instant cash for the same. And all that you will need to do for this is to find a reliable miles broker. The only reason we are emphasizing on the fact that you need to check the credibility of the broker is that a lot of your personal information is at stake when it comes to selling your miles. There are a lot of companies out there in the market offering to buy miles and more miles (miles and more meilen kaufen), but not all of them can be trusted.  You need to look for an agency with a credible report and satisfactory customer review. If you are all set to making some quick bucks with the idle air miles that you have in your loyalty account you should trust no one other than the absolute market leader. And who are the top miles brokers in German-speaking countries? Meilenkauf.com!  Instead of redeeming points with the airlines, you can fill a simple form on the Meilenkauf.com website and get money for the miles that you sell. You can also gather information about what they exactly do and how will you be paid for your miles by taking a look at the FAQ section on their website. Also, if some of your queries are not sorted with the information available online, you can send them a message and their highly responsive customer support team will get back to you at the earliest. Other than Lufthansa, they also purchase miles from other top airlines like Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, Air Canada, and others.
