May I ask for a request of a yandere with a willing darling? Like yandere watches his darling deal abusive family situation, shitty job, and then decides to just take her home like a stray cat so she doesn't have to go back to that.

But like, rather than panic as expected, darling is perfectly content to laze about, enjoying unlimited naps in sunlight, plenty of time to rest and recover. And occasionally darling will willingly give crumbs of physical affection after noting how surprised yandere was by how willing and calm she was about getting kidnapped. She's willing to play along with his game to keep her new life going.

Like a cat, she's okay giving physical affection if it's on her terms, and he is kinda cute after all 😉 He is happy to accept bare minimum for now while his new pet adjusts to her living situation, but there's always the future ☺️

I just now realized that I never actually added it to the masterlist 😭 But I have something very similar to what you're suggesting, here.

It's quite literally a parody of a yandere struggling to be a yandere because Reader is, well, too willing. It also follows along your idea of Reader struggling and therefore welcoming the yandere acts with open arms.

So this is the first part to a soulmate au that I wanted to try doing a series for. Just a small thing I'll definitely add to soon so here ya go!

“Are you three ready to order?” you ask, grabbing the pencil you shoved in your ponytail and wait for the boys to start.

“Ah I’ll have the number 5 with veggies, please.” The sweet orange-haired boy says as he points to his menu.

“Of course!” You turn your attention to the boy with the eye-patch. Is this a chuuni thing? Is there really no eye there? Did he lose it in an accident? It’s none of your business but everything about this boy screams different. Even the third boy with his hair two different colors seems somehow tamer. The one eye you can see is a deep mahogany and his tassel earrings sway when his head turns toward you.

“I’ll just have the green tea. I’m not on a diet.” He says, but his eyes widen slightly at the last part.

"Eh- Suo-san you said the other day you were on a diet! The orange haired boy cried, taking his notebook out and erasing something he'd written prior.

"It's a secret Nirei," Suo sends a tight-lipped smile back at him. "By the way," he turns to you again, "do you have any recommendations for my other friend? He's- what's your favorite thing from the menu?" Suo, eye-patch wearer who isn't on a diet, kicks his un-named friend in the shin before he can speak.

"Actually I hate the food here," you say bluntly, your sentence shocking yourself. That was NOT what you were going to say, and you can tell Suo knew that. How he knew that is something you'd very much like to ask but you were at work. You try saying something similar to what you intended to say a second ago, leaving your own opinion out of it to parrot what most would say the best meal was here. You look back and around to see if your manager heard, but to your relief everyone working was either on break or busy on the other side of the room.

"I already know what I want so can I order?" The third boy breaks you out of whatever weirdness just happened and you jot his order down before turning on your heel and heading to the kitchen. Walking back, you can hear Suo telling his friend he was rude to interrupt and his friend shoots back some response you can no longer hear.

The rest of the interactions with the group were normal enough as you tried to answer any questions vaguely. You catch Suo staring before they walked out the door to leave and found that he'd left contact info on a small page of the same paper the orange one, Nirei if you remember right, had in his notebook.

Pocketing it, you think back to your slip up earlier but eventually chalk it up to fatigue from work. It would be weird to text someone who left you their number...but he left if for that very purpose so saying hi couldn't hurt. He was kinda cute and you definitely want to find out what's behind that eye patch and IS he on a diet or not? While you're suddenly plagued by thoughts about a guy you just served tea to at work, Suo walks home wondering if tomorrow is too soon to come back to a restaurant whose food he also doesn't like.

(*Note Chunni is short for Chunnibyou which is slang for like...the type of kid who thinks they're a superhero and is super dramatic and embarrassing about it. Usually its just younger kids being delulu if y'all haven't heard the term before. Google is better at explaining it.)

Hi, hi! I've been reading some of your work and when I saw you had a tumblr I just had to come pay your inbox a visit.

I just wanna say, I really love how you write! It's so, so easy to get immersed in your stories, to the point where something kind of funny happened in my case actually XD

So there I was at midnight, browsing the monster romance side of AO3 when I came across Finally Woken. I was looking something on the shorter word count side, but the summary had me very interested. So I go, hmmm I think I'll just read the first chapter to see how it is and if I like it I'll come back to it tomorrow. I definitely liked it, but wanted just a bit more, so I clicked on the second chapter. Then the third. And fourth. And so on until oops, I binged it and it was 4 am hdjsgaca

And then the next day, I was once again browsing. And came across Don't shoot the messenger. And I go, well last night was a success but tonight I definitely only read the first chapter and then if I like it finish tomorrow. Aaaah the lies we tell ourselves. Did not even notice it was the same author until I was halfway through it. This one I managed to finish before 4 am at least XD

And then! The next day! Once again browsing in bed! I come across Sacrifice! Once again didn't look at the author until later! Take a guess at what happened next, surely you will never expect the outcome! (The outcome was exactly the same. I could not stop reading. My self restraint is in shambles.)

So yeah! I just wanted to one, come and thank you for such wonderful stories, and two, compliment the heck out of your writing skills because your pacing, and atmosphere and descriptions are top notch. Like the sense of anticipation before Satrasi knew what that captain had done was chef kiss, or the sense of dread building up to the ritual and then calm once Tai finds the reader. Or the sense of domesticity as time passes with Heshi.

All reader characters and monsters feel unique as well! My personal favorite story so far is Don't shoot the messenger, Satrasi has me swooning fdhdgzh But honestly I loved all of them so much and they're going to my favorite monster romances stash. Oh also, I'm 100% going to go back and reread, kudos and comment more thoroughly on each story, but I was on another account like a fool the first time I read them all gahdgdh So hopefully you'll see me in AO3 soon as well!

Alright I've been rambling enough already haha, so yeah! Tldr, You're a great author, I am weak and procrastinated going to bed because I wanted to read your stuff, love what you do, take care! :D

alright~ a few updates about everything! so this weekend I'll be seeing changkyun in chicago- so I prolly won't be posting until after I'm alive again from that 😂😅 (I am vv excited about it- I just know I'll be vv tired when I return home). Anyways, I have a few fics in the works~ one of them that is a request 🤭 I'm vv excited to work on them! But I think I'm going to change my masterlist a bit when I come back. I'm going to retire a few groups from the main masterlist and I've been debating for the past year about it... But I think I'm going to add a yearly masterlist- So it would go from most recent to the beginning of this year~

I'm also thinking about changing my pfp- I haven't been really into stray kids for uh... years- But I will be sure to make an update about that if I go thru with that too- (It may be ji changmin next 🫣🤭)

Obviously I acknowledge and am grateful for the amount of interaction I have — I so often see the mistreatment my own mutuals get from the onslaught of silent readers these days, and it’s so frustrating just to watch — but it’s still so discouraging to know that possibly thousands of people have read oby, yet even on the individual part with the most notes (over double the amount of most chapters) with the biggest reveal and emotional moment, only ~35 people (ily) decided to comment. Half of those being replies, and the other half reblogs… I don’t even have much to say. It just sucks
