This was written for Otayuri Week 2025 from @otayuri-challenges! I wanted this one to be a little longer but decided I just couldn't stretch it and was running out of time, but I'm still pretty happy with it! I can't wait to see what everyone else wrote for this day!

Summary after the cut

Otabek looked confused, but realization washed over him. He rubbed a thumb over Yuri’s hand. “So, you’re ready to date?” he asked. “Yes…kind of…no.” Otabek laughed. “You don’t have to be ready,” he reassured in that tone of voice that Yuri always managed to fall a little more in love with every time. “I am, I am. I just…I don’t know.”

Otabek hummed, considering for a second. He chewed his lip in thought, and that sight alone helped Yuri to make his mind up a little more.

“How about a deal?” Otabek proposed. Yuri raised an eyebrow but knew Otabek’s intentions well enough to let himself take the bait. He waved his hand, signaling for him to continue. “What if we do things like Katsuki and Viktor? If I win tomorrow we'll go on a date.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yuri makes a lot of exceptions for Otabek, but love is one he's having a hard time with.
