The thing is Sarchengsey obviously are basically in a throuple at the end of trc and it works for them and I could see Noah being a third for any two chars and it working because he’s like a puppy and I think Rodansey could be mostly functional together eventually if the timing worked out + they spend some time in therapy, if we’re being optimistic. But Blue x Gansey x Adam is the ot3 where there are feelings and attraction there on all sides but I can not see it being good or healthy especially not if they tried to get together during the dream thieves like I think they’d ruin everything for everyone if they did and that’s why I’ve decided they’re my favorite trc ot3 because I really love mess (and just the complexity of the triad dynamics is so good but that’s another thing) having a threesome would Not fix them they should do it anyway.

I wanna be real clear about something: when I say I want the Dr Odyssey OT3 to happen, I don't mean I want a happy poly thruple who all communicate well and have a functional and healthy relationship with appropriate work/life balance.

This is a trio that STARTS with Tristan in pathetic, unrequited puppy love with Avery who wants none of it. Then Max enters the equation and immediately tries to hook up with Tristan only to get aggressively no-homoed by Tristan setting them up as romantic rivals in competition for the women on the ship. So what does Max do? He IMMEDIATELY persues the woman his crush just confessed to being desperately in love with.

This is true love triangle masquerading as a YA love triangle. It's pretending to be a competition between men for the affection of a largely disinterested woman, but what's actually developing is a situation where Tristan wants Avery, Avery wants Max, and Max wants Tristan.

And we're entering into phase 2 where Max started something with Avery to get Tristan's attention, but Tristan is confronting and healing from his Mommy Issues enough to let go of his feelings for Avery and Avery is possibly letting her guard down enough to feel something for Max but the person Max wants is still Tristan!

It has the potential to be such a hot fucking mess, and if what we get from that isn’t multiple seasons of hookups, breakups, misunderstandings, and bad decisions I'm gonna be so disappointed...

Characters

Yue Qingyuan. I think it will come as no surprise to anyone given my blog title and header lol. Explaining why I love him so much would turn into a full character analysis, but he is just So soggy and bitable. He tries so hard but lives in a world where he's destined to fail, both because of his background and the narrative he's trapped in. He cares so much in a world that will never reward him for that. He repeats the same mistakes over and over because he can't see an alternative path. He is SO SAD AND SO DIVORCED and so traumatized but probably has a complete inability to recognize that fact and he loves and loves and loves but love is not enough to save anyone.

Shen Jiu. He's probably the reason I'm obsessed with SVSSS, instead of just having a passing interest. A week or two after I read the novel for the first time, I started thinking about him and just ended up full on weeping. I find his character incredibly compelling; I love absolute messes, and I really really love seeing a depiction of trauma where the character does not come out stronger or "beautifully broken". It's hard not to be compelled by a character who literally represents the cycle of abuse, who is allowed by the narrative to be both tragic victim and heinous abuser, who is allowed to show what abuse does to people. On a lighter note, I find his younger personality very funny, especially with his dynamic with Yue Qi. He's an absolute gremlin and he lends well to absurdity in lighter fics.

Luo Binghe. Who doesn't love the protagonist!! My reasons for loving Binghe overlap with my reasons for loving SJ— they're foils after all— but I think the core of it is that Binghe is just Deeply Human. He’s just a little guy who’s desperate to be loved. He’s a poorly trained puppy biting down to hold on to the only person who’s ever treated him properly. He’s never done anything wrong in his life.

Shen Qingqiu. His internal dialogue/ narration is why SVSSS is so fun to read! He’s the man shaping this tragedy into a comedy. He’s so insane and so unselfaware, I need to dissect him. Ultimately he’s just a really fun character! 10/10 would chuck him at a wall.

Liu Qingge. He has sword autism what more need I say. I don't talk about him as much on here because my interpretation of him tends to contradict fanon, but I love him so much and I shove him into so many OT3s. Bonus: Qi Qingqi and Mu Qingfang. They're the two background characters with minimal characterization I've latched on to and created massive sprawling headcanons for. This is mostly because I think they are both very sexy.

Moments So fun fact I have clinical memory issues and it’s been a little bit since I read all of SVSSS, so this is WAY harder for me, and I'll definitely miss something. But of what I can recall: 

Xiao Jiu threatening to bash another boy’s head in with a rock, and Yue Qi saying “he didn’t mean it”, even though SJ Definitely Meant It and YQ Definitely Knew That. I just find it cute when children are violent I guess 🤣 (Cheng Qian my beloved), and It kind of foreshadows their later dynamic where YQY covers for SQQ without question— YQY thinks he’s doing the same thing as when they were kids, and SQQ thinks YQY is trying to sweep a troublesome mess under the rug. In general, YQY puts a lot more value on their times as slaves than SQQ does/ is more nostalgic for it (probably because YQY’s Intensely traumatic moments were after he joined CQMS, whereas the worst parts of SQQ’s life were all before that point (until Bingge lol))

Since I won't "have to" get up at 3am to watch the finale (I'm probably the only person in the world happy about them pushing the release back by three hours lol), I now have time to humour you with two Roy x Jamie scenarios, that won't happen since the writer's ignore what's best for Keeley's character development (= staying single) and give us OT3, but that I'd love for someone to use for fanfic purposes.

After getting Ted's truth bomb Rebecca heads over to Keeley to discuss it and we get a similar scene to 3x10. After unloading her thoughts about Ted, Rebecca asks if there have been new developments with Roy since the last time they talked. Cue for Roy: He descends the stairs in the background and makes two coffees in the kitchen. Then he heads towards Rebecca and Keeley right in time to overhear Keeley telling Rebecca that she made up her mind and that she doesn't want to get back with Roy, since she needs time for herself to grow into her own person, the same way Rebecca did. Rebecca then notices Roy, which prompts Keeley to notice him as well. Awkward pause, a "I'm sorry, that wasn't how you were supposed to find out." and Roy being "It's okay, you don't always get what you want", Rebecca chiming in with a "But maybe you'll get what you need." Roy nods along and heads back upstairs. Back in the bedroom he puts one cup on the bedside table and then says "Made you coffee", camera pans to Jamie in bed, sitting up and taking the other cup. Jamie notices that Roy looks a bit wistful and asks him what's going on. Roy tells him that Keeley and him won't be getting back together. Something that hurts but not was much as he had expected. Still, Roy gets a bit upsets when Jamie dons this small hopeful smile. He tells Jamie, that Keeley doesn't want any relationship right now and Jamie shouldn't get his hopes up if he is not willing to wait. Then Jamie looks at him, with a shy smile, biting his lip. "You know, I can be patient. I've been waiting for months." Makes big puppy eyes. "Just not for Keeley." Roy looks at him a couple seconds, his face makes a journey from utter confusion to realisation, then he goes "Fuck. This really isn't what I wanted." Jamie's smile falters. "But it may just be what I need." Then he grabs Jamie and kisses him and the scene fades out …

After visiting Rebecca Keeley seeks out Roy at training and they finish the "I want to be more than friends"-conversation. Keeley explains to him, that she needs to figure herself out and wants to stay single for the next couple months, maybe a year or two. Roy offers he would wait for her, but she looks at Jamie and whispers "I don't think you should." Perspective switches to Jamie who notices that Keeley and Roy have a—apparently heated—conversation, with them repeatedly looking in his direction. Jan pats his shoulder and wishes him luck for the upcoming boot room talk. And as expected Roy yells at Jamie to come with him to the boot room and explicitly tells Will to stay in the locker room. Worried looks are exchanged—that can't be a good sign. Jamie expects Roy to have a jealous fit or to yell at him, but on the contrary Roy seems nervous, almost anxious, only looking at him without getting a word out. "What happened when you talked with Keeley?", Jamie finally asks. "Well, we broke up for good. And she said, I should go for … get what I need and … Ah, forget it." "What?" "Nothing." "It is not nothing. If you need comfort, I'm here for you. Or if it makes you feel better you can yell at me or headbutt me or …" Roy grimaces, murmurs a "Fuck me it", grabs Jamie by the neck, pulls him closer and kisses him. After being surprised for a moment Jamie kisses back. And since they conveniently stand right in front of the window to the gym (? I'm still so bad at the layout of all rooms, but there is a window lol), Isaac and Colin see them and when they head back to the locker room Isaac blurts out "Roy and Jamie are making out in the boot room", Will shouts "NO! I've been waiting for this for months. MONTHS! And now I've missed it!", Colin murmurs "I've been really lucky Isaac didn't out me within five minutes of finding out …" and Trent just nods along knowingly, an unspoken "Finally" plastered onto his face. And Nate wonders, what else he had missed the last couple months.

You know, it’s funny because the more I kind of write Tommy the more it’s like ‘oh he really struggles with the idea that he can like, relax for just himself’ (which is not really anyones fault so much as the expectations/standards)

But! He really enjoys spending time with his family and also DOGGIES (you will find the Prince of Wales/King of England happily helping with the puppies and it is adorable). Enjoys talking about books and just kind of…he likes talking and listening to stories (Tommy is a genuinely great listener). Also loves spending time with his horse(s) - he’s not actually into hunting but he loves riding. Delighted by spending time with/helping small children - he’s really great at making toys/making up stories etc. Also he loves designing gardens and public works - he’s actually a bit of an artist but it’s not something he pursues really.

After four solid years of working on this series, here we are! Finally at the finish line! All that's left is Day 31: wildcard, so I'm super stoked and wanting to include my friends in this since they've supported me along this cracky, cracky journey...

I had to write sporadically since even I, prince of porn, must be in a certain headspace to write smut in general, much less kinky, filthy smut.

I started this series on October 02, 2020. On Ao3, the "Kinktober is 20/20" series, where I've been grouping these fics, is 82,269 words. I created a new pseud for this series, so that readers could differentiate my more serious works from the shameless hentai. I tested myself, wrote to the fullest extent of the kink, tested the boundaries of what's hot and what's not, and decided to be utterly shameless. Some pieces I love. Some, I can't believe I wrote, let alone published.

It's been a great, wonderful time.

From what was meant to be a series of unrelated one-shots exploring depravity, a number of actual series emerged.

A crumb or more - Where I joke that someone holding Sasuke down and fucking some sense to him might have prevented him from leaving the village, and then write Time travel!Sakura to do just that-- only it turns out surprisingly wholesome, with ot3 team seven time skip as a sequel. Astonishingly one of my favorite verses

King of the World (if I wanna be)- A series where Izuku gets a sex quirk. Stunningly, this is not a unique phenomenon for kinktober. I wrote more than one universe where Deku gets a DIFFERENT sex quirk. Amazing. In this series, he has a subtle mind control/hypnosis quirk that's like a "notice-me-not" spell, projecting an aura of "nothing to see/be concerned about" that lets him get into all sorts of mischief. It also serves to explain why Kacchan is Like That™-- literal years of being exposed to an uncontrolled "don't worry about it" quirk that prevents him from worrying about the consequences of his actions. It has six fics and is 23,447 words.

Love on top (baby it's you)- A two-part series where Sasuke is actually trans and not just Magically Given a Pussy for my own enjoyment (and yours).

Puppy Plays- Probably one of the most depraved series to come out of this experiment. MIND THE TAGS if you go here. When I wrote the first fic, I had to be cajoled for days to actually post it. When I wrote the sequel the day before yesterday, I posted it without any editing so I could hurry up and do my college homework, utterly unashamed. It's puppy play and it's noncon, Bakudeku (Dark Izuku).

And most recently, Konoha "Omega Verse" (Team Hole), which is not actually alpha/beta/omegaverse. It's just a free use/sex AU where one member of each team is designated as free use/fuck whenever and explores the social reality and worldbuilding of such a dynamic. Naturally, I chose Sasuke. For spice, the team omega uses a jutsu to give them a vagina, and any non-vagina-owners on the team use the reverse to get a dick. This keeps things nice and simple for the "use a member of your team like a flesh light for stress relief" agenda.

Describing these is wild. It's kinktober, though. Kinktober's gonna kink!

Aside from the series that developed, there are a number of one shots that were actually good. My personal favorite is probably the Shikamaru fic where everything actually is safe, sane and consensual-- all the way through a gangbang where he gets to be a pillow princess.

Honorable mentions: the Sakura/Hinata fic where Hinata is jealous of ot3 team seven and Sakura shows her a good time; my first foray into actual omegaverse, with Kiribaku (cute); these two hot wing (dabi/hawks) fics that actually have really nice writing and icarus vibes; an actually wholesome bakudeku fic where they're pro heroes and pass OFA back and forth with bloody kisses after a fight; and some post-canon wholesome team seven ot3 where they'd rather make out then go to a dinner party.

Now: the wildcard space. I've considered continuing one of the favorite series. I've considered finding a different kinktober prompt-list and finding one that wasn't represented in my original list. I've considered making a poll of entirely friend/tumblr submissions of ideas.

I want it to be fun! But also a big finale to wrap up this series I've spent four years of my life on. I feel like it has to be so kinky, so ridiculous, and so much fun that it neatly showcases what kinktober's all about-- or at least, what it has been all about, for me.

In light of that, and me still decided, feel free to send in ideas-- ship ideas, opinions, random thoughts, kinks you'd like to see, a kink I already used that you'd like to see more of--- the sky's the limit. I just want to do this with the input of the people who have read and enjoyed the series, and the input of my friends who have supported me along the way. And thrown things at me. And squealed. Whomst Starts: the Mysterious Lotus Casebook

I’ve seen only a fourth of Mysterious Lotus Casebook—40 episodes? Intriguing—and I’m already seeing the developing OT3 between a feral cat, a tired fox, and an exuberant puppy.

Dynamic so far (I’ve never read the novel): Everyone’s favorite Wu Xie Puppy has imprinted on the Fox like a baby duckling, unaware that Fox is actually the swordsman he has a crush on idolizes. Fox started out rejecting Puppy, then barely tolerating Puppy, and now affectionately trying to make sure Puppy doesn’t do anything Fox would have done at his age (zero faith in that happening). The Cat is basically the Fox’s ex, if you ignore the murder and vengeful battles. So far Cat is disdainful/slightly murderous towards Puppy, who is suspicious of him constantly, and 50% of the time he’s even kind of right?! I foresee them growing close, however—Cat and Puppy share a very blunt worldview and tbh I think the Cat is secretly a little fond of Puppy already.

LET THERE BE MORE.

I’m frankly annoyed at the roles they’ve given female characters so far—I’m not seeing more than two dimensional development here, and it’s a shame, because there is so much potential for great character development for them!! The delicate and highly emotional love interest thrown in because otherwise Fox is just suspiciously chill living with two “roommates” isn’t given a personality, just tears and confusion over her feelings. Fox’s old friend (dressed in purple, had a whip so I was hopeful she’d be epic) is just there to yell at people to generate plot exposition. Puppy’s aunt is flirtatiously air-headed in the one scene where we have her, Cat’s evil partner in crime is plotting to take him out too (good for her) and all but rubbing her hands together and cackling stereotypically, and the tiny servant girl is never seen again after Puppy goes broke and she’s recalled back to the family estate. WHERE ARE THE GIRLS. LET THEM BE MORE.

All in all, I’m gonna keep watching these idiots travel around in Howl’s Moving Castle the Lotus Tower solving crimes.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

HAHAHAHAHA oh boy. Um... you... you want me to choose just one? hmmm... Alright so honestly I think while Afterimage and What Even is Three Minutes did numbers on the J/C crowd, nothing tops the cliffhangers at the end of Sailor Moon H: Half-Blood Prince in terms of how much angst they induced in readers. The double whammy: (1) the youngest senshi getting turned into a horcrux and taken hostage by Bellatrix Lestrange and (2) Morgana Avery, the OC whom I had carefully crafted to be a character you loved burning up her boyfriend's shop with dark magic and then casting the Dark Mark in order to infiltrate the death eaters as an undercover spy... My betas and I were taking bets on whether I'd get readers coming after me with pitch forks for that one.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

There's a few contenders but I don't think any happiness quite compares to Captain Kathryn Janeway in The Captain's Secret Santa, getting a puppy for Christmas.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

A smattering of memorable flames which I try to save to reflect back on when I need a good laugh.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

*opens trench coat* Smut you say? Well gosh golly gee. What in the blazes could that be? SMUT. Funny word. Hmmm. I'm not sure I know anything about that.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I have written exactly two. Sailor Delta is on hold for the moment because the other one Sailor Moon H has one story to go. And i think if there were an award for craziest crossover I would submit that one and have a good chance to be in the running. It would win on craziest word count and probably on shenanigans too. And then it had the nerve to give itself a real plot. I started that as a crack fic and it got a mind of its own. And I am still writing it 8 years later XD.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I had all of my unlocked works on AO3 gobbled up by the initial crawl that Open AI used to build Chat GPT and that SUCKED. Not because it's been reproduced wholesale but because they'll use my hard work to make millions of dollars and all of the writers who were included in that dataset are both uncredited and uncompensated. I don't think I've ever had a fic stolen by another human. But if you do see what looks like my fic anywhere fishy, kindly let me know!

J/C is very near and dear to my heart but so is the Outer Senshi OT3 and I could never choose between them.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

I am determined to finish all of my WIPs. Yes even SMH. Yes I know its been going on for 8 years. I am SLOW, okay. SLOW. Not lost. I know precisely how I want that thing to go.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I don't like tooting my own horn but okay... I feel confident in my ability to plot a long fic and see it through. In my ability to write something that brings you to your knees with emotion. And I do a damn good villain speech.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Time management. Word Count management. Oneshots.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Depends if it's there to be understood in context or there to stand out as not understood. I'd write dialogue in another language if it was there to be understood. I'd gloss over it if the intention was that the character and reader shouldnt understand it. I also wouldnt do it for whole lines of dialogue unless it was for a very good reason. Would prefer to throw in only the untranslateable words or to use greetings/honorifics and other smaller phrasal cues to indicate which language is being spoken.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

Two:

I fell in love with writing The Universe to Mend this year and I've already re-read it once since finishing it in October. It brought me so much joy. It was such a fun challenge. and I think it was some of the best character work I've ever done.

While I wince when I re-read some of the typos, Pax Lunae was still the first ever story that I felt proud of and that remains true today. It was a challenge to dive into the lore of Sailor Moon and create something that could be canon. It was also the first fic I could hold up and say "Hey! I wrote something the length of a novel. I could write a novel" And I like to reread it to remember that feeling. Someday I'll have a chance to clean up some of the spelling too..

Tbh, I'm still surprised every single one of them carries cash. As a person who is VERY far away from being a billionaire, I never ever have any kind of cash on me. It's all plastic or NFC for me. On the other hand, maybe it's easier when you have so much money, have some "pocket" money.

This kid can't sit and stand straight, but he also can't stay on the ground for long. High five like an average person? Impossible. I love him.

A girl? Roy, I am begging you, go kiss Jamie already and be done with it already. Honestly, sometimes he has a mentality of a five year old.

I love Jamie's hair SO much this season. It's long & free & beautiful.

I'll leave it uncut bc I love everything about this but. Jamie is LITERALLY vibrating with his entire body from excitement. This boy is such a wonder & Phil deserves his Emmy.

This is such a huge nod to 1x01. It's how Keeley enters the changing room when we're first introduced to her character. It's an obvious one, but this still makes me sad. I don't want this show to end.

P.S.: Jamie watching Keeley. In 1x01 she literally entered to picked Jamie from the training and they were dating then. I'm watching very closely.

I see you, Jamie. The smile, the nod, the "hey, Keeley." I see you.

You know what's worse aside from Jamie wanting Keeley there with him bc he loves her? He probably fucking means it. He's a nervous puppy (understandably, but still. He's pure like that.)

My kids. <3 The way Jamie hugs people is so cute. It's so... wholesome. He holds people with all of him & he MEANS it.

The way Keeley looks at him when Jamie is confused. She still loves him. Attracted to him, too, but right now I mostly see exes that are used to being more or less friends/friendly at a distance.

But the way they include Roy. It's so ot3 coded. Love triangle, too, but I choose to see RJK.

Keeley is GRATEFUL for Jamie giving her this opportunity to see Brazil. You guys. Yeah, sometimes it does read like a love triangle. Who will she choose, but at the same time I'd love the boys ending up together & her loving that for them. Joining them or not is another topic.

Look, normally I am in favour of a love triangle being solved with an OT3 but Boeing is the absolute worst and Sand deserves better.

This is a weird thing to add to the final episode of a drama. Things should be wrapping up not adding angst for the sake of it

YAY! The three of them teaming up to take down Boeing. I hope this is the last we will see of him

Oh no! I thought we were done with this. Well, I suppose he needs to fuck with Boston and Nick's admittedly cute 'let's be boyfriends until I love to the US' relationship

I mean they are basically the same person so sure. FFS Boston you couldn't keep it in your pants for a few weeks?

Honestly I think Nick's story is the most heartbreaking in this entire drama

Boston's like 'what all I did was stick my tongue in another man's mouth'

Sand speaks the truth

Wow okay I was not expecting them to make me cry yet here we are. Stupid emotions making me feel things.

I'm not sure a friendship group with this much fucked up history should be drunkenly playing truth or dare on New Year's Eve

Honestly you have to give props to Neo for playing such an unrepentant asshole so well. Look at him he's a puppy when he's not bastarding.

He is such a good boyfriend

Nick is absolutely making the right decision but I'm still sad for reasons I don't even really understand. I think it's mostly Neo's puppy face

Uh...I was not expecting Top's hotel to catch fire 5 mins from the end wtf

I shouldn't laugh but they just evacuated an entire hotel and apparently these are the only people who were in the building

Oh, shit, I really shouldn't be laughing. I totally forgot Top has trauma from being involved in a fire when he was a kid

AHHHHHHHHHHHH! IT'S MIX! This just made my heart so happy!

You know what? I actually loved this drama! Everyone is a hot mess disaster gay but it was fun even when it was frustrating. I had a great time

And this is good timing because I'm going out of town tomorrow for my sister's wedding. I'll start a new drama when I get back in a few days
