Came up with some twist-villain!Dedf1sh level music. We don't yet know what to make of Acht and Marina's shared history, so I'm envisioning some kind of self-imposed grudge tempered by her own morbid curiosity.
The reason Dedf1sh allowed herself to be ensnared by Tartar was because of Acht's desire to hone her music-making craft, right? If this process took place after Marina heard the Calamari Inkantation, then those two events could be linked.
If music can reformat the minds of a thousand soldiers and compel a dear friend to leave it all behind; to leave me behind... then what else can music do? How can I harness that power to my own ends? What if I could make the Inkantation my bitch?
Acht Mizuta may have perished down there in the Deepsea Metro, but her sense of purpose did not.
I know we all have things to say about Battle League but it did give us like the best official arrangement of the Luigi's Mansion theme sorry fhcbcbcndf
i wish aa5+6 were direct sequels to aa4, creating an apollo-centric trilogy - maybe something like 5 focusing on klavier and 6 focusing on trucy and apollo's relationship w thalassa. the series would actually be so peak if we had a pheonix trilogy, an apollo trilogy (where phoenix is an important member of the supporting cast), the edgeworth duology, and then tgaa to top it all off....
instead, we have an apollo game - which could have been a major turning point for the series - but then basically everything that made the game good is ignored or sidelined to give us two Not Good phoenix wright games... its so sad! and the worst part is that it really feels like dd + soj has ruined some people's view of aa4 AND killed any momentum the series had for doing anything actually interesting with its characters.... i don't even know if aa7 can 'fix' this, even IF capcom does try to return to a more apollo-centric approach with it - which i unfortunately don't think is possible anyway 😔

Somewhere in the back of your mind, you hear the sound of a door opening... and you prepare to ride squidtastic grooves of your own design.

What would a boss fight against Agent 8 sound like? When stripped of all the leitmotifs taken from other sources, whose music are we left hearing? Or are those motifs too intrinsic to remove? Would there be nothing left?
How could Project Memverse be expected to aid someone who can aid everyone but themself? Realistically, it can't — therapy isn't purely an external process. In order to reassert who they are, 8 must first find who they are, deep down.
And then beat the snot out of them. Yeah, that'll help.
Some thoughts on the Thousand Year Door remake soundtrack
I see many people dumping on the new soundtrack in the Thousand Year Door Switch Remake and I get why people are attached to the original songs. However, I think people should consider the new OST likely represents the vision the devs originally wanted to achieve 20 years ago but were cut short because of hardware limitations and memory/disc space constraints. I was frankly blown away by just how much new music there is in the Switch version. I also appreciate how the remade songs feature entirely new sections to them which helps them feel less repetitive and more fleshed out. Giving every area its own take on the battle theme is a music direction choice I absolutely adore.
On another note you can't simply expect the new music to sound 1 to 1 like the original considering the new compositions were mainly done with actual live instruments compared to the original GameCube soundtrack which was largely synthesized.
