Heyy! Could you maybe write for Oscar, his 2 year old babygirl being very cuddly and clingy? She doesn’t want to be separated from him or her mom. Just very fluffy and sweet
Little Miss Clingy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The moment Oscar and Lily laid eyes on their baby girl two years ago, their world shifted. They had thought they understood love before, but seeing their daughter for the first time, tiny and perfect, was something else entirely. They adored every part of her—the way her little fingers curled around theirs, the sleepy sighs she made when she rested on their chests, and now, at two years old, the way she toddled around their home, her chubby arms always reaching for them.
Yn was the center of their universe, and she knew it.
So, when Oscar suggested bringing her to a race for the first time, Lily had been hesitant. "She’s never been around so many people before, Osc," she had said, running her fingers through Yn’s soft curls as the little girl played with her stuffed rabbit. "She might get overwhelmed."
Oscar, ever the optimist, had grinned. "She’ll be fine, love. She’s got us."
And now, standing in the middle of the paddock with Yn perched on Oscar’s hip, her little fists gripping his shirt tightly, Lily wasn’t so sure about that.
Yn’s big eyes darted around, scanning the sea of unfamiliar faces. People were everywhere—talking, laughing, pointing cameras in their direction. Some even called out to her daddy, waving excitedly.
Yn didn’t like it.
She turned her head, burying her face into Oscar’s shoulder. He let out a small chuckle, rubbing her back. "Not a fan of the crowd, huh, sweetheart?"
Yn only gripped him tighter.
"She’s definitely overwhelmed," Lily murmured, adjusting the pink bucket hat on Yn’s head. She had fought hard for that hat. Everyone in the team had wanted to dress their daughter in orange, but Yn had refused. The second Lily showed her the pink one, she had clapped her hands and declared, "Pinky!"
So pink it was.
Oscar pressed a kiss to Yn’s hair. "It’s a lot to take in, isn’t it, bub?"
Yn peeked up at him with wide eyes, then at Lily, before reaching for her. "Mama," she mumbled, her little voice barely audible over the noise of the paddock.
Lily took her immediately, smoothing a hand over her curls. "I’ve got you, baby."
They made their way toward the hospitality area, where a few drivers were gathered, chatting casually. When they spotted Oscar, their faces lit up.
"Ah, so this is the famous Yn!" Lando was the first to approach, grinning wide. "Hey there, little one."
Yn stared at him for a long moment, then turned her face into Lily’s neck.
Lando gasped dramatically. "Rejected. That one stings, not gonna lie."
Alex snorted, leaning over to get a peek at Yn. "She’s shy, mate. Give her a second."
Oscar reached out, stroking Yn’s back. "You okay, bub? These are my friends."
Yn peeked up, glancing at the group again before curling back into her mom’s arms.
Lily chuckled. "She’s in a clingy mood today."
Carlos, standing nearby, tilted his head. "She doesn’t like crowds?"
"She’s just confused," Oscar explained. "This is her first race, and she has no idea what’s going on."
Max, who had been quiet, suddenly crouched down to Yn’s eye level. "Do you like racing, little one?"
Yn blinked at him, then shook her head. "No."
A beat of silence. Then, Lando burst into laughter. "Oh, Oscar, you’re in trouble."
Oscar let out a dramatic sigh. "Come on, bub, you’re breaking my heart here."
Yn just nestled deeper into Lily’s arms.
"You’re not into racing?" Lando tried again. "But your dad is really good at it!"
Yn furrowed her brows. "Where Daddy go?"
Oscar chuckled. "I’m right here, bub."
She shook her head, patting his chest. "No. Later."
It took them a moment to understand what she meant.
"She’s asking where you go during the race," Lily realized, rubbing Yn’s back.
"Ohhh," Oscar grinned. "Daddy goes in the car, sweetheart."
Yn looked unimpressed.
"To drive really fast," Oscar added.
Still unimpressed.
"You don’t think that’s cool?"
Yn shook her head.
Alex doubled over laughing. "She’s killing me!"
Oscar pouted dramatically. "Alright, bub, what do you think is cool?"
Yn thought for a moment, then lifted her hat. "Pinky."
Lily smirked. "Pink is her favorite color. She wasn’t having any of the orange merch."
Carlos hummed. "You have taste, pequeña. Pink is a great color."
Yn finally pulled her face away from Lily’s neck, her big eyes looking at Carlos. "Pink good."
"See?" Carlos beamed. "Smart girl."
Just as she was starting to relax, a crew member approached, handing Oscar his helmet.
"It’s time?" Oscar asked.
"Yeah, you’re needed in the garage."
Oscar turned back to his wife and daughter, taking Yn into his arms and running a soothing hand down Yn’s back. "Alright, bub, Daddy has to go drive now, okay?"
Yn’s little brows furrowed.
"Daddy will be back soon," he promised. "You stay with Mama."
Then, before she could protest, he gently transferred her into Lily’s arms.
Yn made a confused noise, blinking as if trying to process what just happened. Then—
"Daddy!"
Oscar turned just in time to see his little girl reaching for him, her lower lip wobbling.
"Oh, sweetheart," Lily cooed, bouncing her slightly. "It’s okay, baby. Daddy will be back."
But Yn wasn’t having it.
She let out a frustrated whine, her small hands grasping at the air in Oscar’s direction. "Daddy!"
Oscar winced. "Oh man, this is gonna hurt."
"You need to go," Lily said, though she was clearly struggling not to cave at the sight of their daughter’s distress.
"Yeah, but"
"Daddy!"
It took everything in Oscar not to take her back. But he knew if he did, he’d never leave.
"I love you, bub," he said softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I’ll be back before you know it."
Yn whined again, but this time, she slumped against Lily’s shoulder, defeated.
Oscar gave her one last look, blowing her a kiss, before heading off, feeling a pang in his chest at the sound of her little sniffles.
Lily sighed, adjusting Yn in her arms. "It’s okay, baby. I’ve got you."
Still, Yn was clearly not happy.
And when Lily started talking to a man called Zak Brown, the two-year-old had had enough.
She curled into her mother, pressing her face into Lily’s neck.
Zak chuckled. "She’s not much of a people person, huh?"
Lily smiled, rubbing small circles on Yn’s back. "She’s usually very social. But today is a lot for her."
Zak nodded understandingly. "First race?"
"Yeah. She doesn’t get why people keep wanting Oscar’s attention or where he goes. She just wants her parents."
Yn clung tighter.
"Well," Zak said, giving the little girl a warm smile, "I think she’s got a great support system."
Lily pressed a kiss to her daughter’s head. "That she does."
Yn didn’t understand racing, or why people were so interested in her dad, or why they kept trying to put her in orange when pink was clearly superior.
But she knew one thing for sure.
As long as she was with her mommy and daddy, everything would be okay.

Princess Make-Up
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The paddock was alive with the familiar hum of engines, chatter, and clinking coffee cups, but today, something — or rather someone — was stealing the spotlight. Three-year-old Yn Alonso, sporting a pair of sparkly play high heels, oversized sunglasses, and a mini Disney handbag, strutted alongside her father, Fernando, with all the confidence of a seasoned model. The F1 paddock, usually reserved for roaring engines and serious faces, had suddenly transformed into her personal runway.
Fernando chuckled as he watched his little girl prance with exaggerated steps, clearly relishing in the attention. "Where did you learn to walk like that, mi princesa?" he asked, amusement flickering in his eyes.
Yn pushed her sunglasses up her nose with a dramatic flair, barely glancing back at her father. "Papá, I'm busy. I need to get to my fans," she replied, her voice full of sass as she twirled around, causing a few members of the pit crew to chuckle.
As they made their way through the paddock, they encountered several drivers lounging around. Oscar, Lando, and Carlos were chatting near McLaren’s hospitality area when they spotted the duo.
"Well, well, who’s this little superstar?" Carlos grinned, kneeling down to Yn's level. "Can I get an autograph?"
Yn looked at him over the rim of her sunglasses, one eyebrow raised in an unintentional imitation of her father. "Hmmm, maybe later," she said nonchalantly, waving her tiny hand. "I’m busy right now."
Lando laughed. "I think you’ve been dethroned, Fernando. She’s got more attitude than half the drivers here."
Fernando took a sip of his espresso, an amused smirk on his face. "Oh, trust me, I know."
Just then, Lily, Oscar’s girlfriend, walked over, giving Yn a warm smile. “Well, aren’t you just the cutest little princess I’ve ever seen?”
Yn's face lit up. "Princess?" she gasped, her eyes widening as she took in Lily’s perfect hair and stylish outfit. She tugged on her father's sleeve excitedly. "Papá, she’s a princess!"
Lily crouched down, her eyes softening. “Of course I am. But I think you’re the real princess here.” She held out her hand, and Yn immediately placed her tiny hand in it, looking up at her in awe.
Yn took a step closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "We could be princesses together," she proposed, as if revealing a grand secret.
Lily laughed, absolutely charmed. "Oh, I would love that."
Seeing his daughter’s pure delight, Fernando couldn’t help but chuckle. He leaned back, sipping his espresso with a relaxed smile. He hadn’t seen Yn this animated around anyone besides him.
As they continued their little princess chat, Yn noticed Lily had a compact mirror out, carefully touching up her lipstick. Intrigued, Yn dug into her tiny handbag and pulled out her wooden play makeup set, the pieces worn but clearly loved. She opened a pretend lipstick and began mimicking Lily’s movements with utter seriousness.
“Oh my gosh, is that your makeup set?” Lily asked, amused.
Yn nodded proudly. "Yup! This is my special makeup. It’s got sparkles," she explained, applying her invisible lipstick with practiced precision. "Do you like it?"
“I love it,” Lily assured her, applying her real lipstick while Yn kept at her imaginary one. The two of them giggled and compared "lipstick" shades, drawing quite the audience.
Lando crossed his arms, watching the scene unfold with a look of fake jealousy. “What happened? I used to be Yn’s favorite,” he said with a dramatic sigh.
Oscar nudged him. “Mate, you’ve been replaced. Look at them — they’re a royal duo now.”
Carlos shook his head, sighing. "This is hard to watch," he said with a grin. "I don’t think we’ll ever be able to compete."
Fernando watched, a smirk playing on his lips as he listened to the drivers' banter. "I guess you boys just don’t have what it takes," he said, chuckling.
Lily, noticing the crowd, gave Yn an encouraging look. “Should we show everyone our princess wave?”
Yn, always up for a new challenge, nodded. Together, they held their hands up in that classic royal wave, greeting the imaginary crowds. The drivers chuckled and applauded, while Yn, clearly delighted by the attention, curtsied as best as she could in her little heels.
After a while, Yn seemed to remember something very important. She ran over to her father, practically leaping into his arms. “Papá! Can Lily come with us forever?” she asked, looking up at him with hopeful eyes.
Fernando raised an eyebrow, trying to keep a straight face. "Forever, hmm? Well, princesa, that might be a bit tricky. Lily has to stay with Oscar, remember?"
Yn looked over at Oscar, clearly considering this dilemma. She furrowed her little brow. "Hmm. Oscar can come too, I guess."
The entire group burst into laughter, with Oscar raising his hands in mock surrender. "Well, I don’t mind being part of the Alonso crew,” he said with a grin.
Lily smiled, patting Yn’s shoulder. “How about I come visit you as often as I can, okay?”
Yn nodded happily, seeming satisfied with this arrangement. She grabbed Lily’s hand and led her back to their “makeup session” while the drivers continued to watch, each one more smitten with Yn than the next.
Fernando took another sip of his espresso, a soft smile on his face. "Better get used to it, boys. She’s got the Alonso charm."

baby girl
pairing: poly!oscar piastri x reader x lily zneimer
summary: in which you introduce your new baby girl to the paddock
warnings: none!
a/n: this one got the most votes so here it is! i’ll publish the other ones soon!
the paddock was alive with its usual hum, the energy of the race weekend filling the air. drivers were getting ready, engineers were checking over data, and mechanics rushed between garages. yet, there was a quiet little corner in the midst of it all, where time seemed to slow down.
oscar piastri stood beside you and lily zneimer, his arm around your waist as he gazed down at the small bundle you were holding. in your arms, their newborn daughter was wrapped up snugly in a soft blanket, her little face just visible beneath the fabric. she looked peaceful, her tiny chest rising and falling with each breath as she slept soundly. your heart swelled with love as you looked down at her, marveling at how perfect she was.
lily smiled warmly at the sight of the little girl in your arms, her hand resting lightly on your shoulder. “she’s about to make her first appearance in the paddock,” she said, her voice filled with pride and tenderness.
“i think she’s already been here a few times,” oscar teased, looking down at their daughter with a soft laugh. “just not in the way we usually see people.”
you chuckled, nodding. “yeah, but today is the day we make it official, right?”
“officially adorable,” lily added with a wink, her eyes twinkling with affection as she reached out to gently stroke the baby’s soft, fine hair.
oscar grinned and placed a gentle kiss on your cheek. “you know, i thought i’d never be nervous bringing a baby into the paddock, but here i am, hoping she doesn’t cry during the driver introductions.”
“oh, she’ll be fine,” you reassured him. “she’s a natural. already making the rounds in the pits in her own way.”
lily laughed and squeezed your hand, clearly enjoying the warmth of this quiet moment. “honestly, i think she might steal the show today. i can’t wait for lando to meet her.”
as you all made your way down the paddock, you could feel the familiar excitement of the race weekend, but it was different this time. there was an undeniable sense of newness to it all—everything had shifted with the arrival of your little one, and the paddock felt like a different place. yet, the comfort of being surrounded by friends and teammates was just as strong.
lando norris was leaning against his car, talking with a few of the other drivers. as you approached, he looked up and his face immediately lit up when he saw the little bundle in your arms.
“oh, she’s here!” he exclaimed, pushing himself off the car and striding over with a big smile. his eyes softened when he saw the baby’s tiny face peeking out from the blanket. “hey, little one,” he said in the softest voice, crouching down to get a better look.
oscar grinned and stepped aside slightly, giving lando space. “she’s been waiting for this moment,” he teased, clearly proud of how their daughter was already drawing attention.
lando looked up at you, then back at the baby, his grin only growing wider. “she’s going to be the most famous person here by the end of the weekend,” he said, reaching out to gently brush his finger against her tiny hand. “hi there, i’m your godfather lando. welcome to the madness.”
the baby’s hand grasped his finger for a moment, and lando’s eyes went wide with pure affection. “look at that grip,” he laughed softly. “strong little one already.”
you and lily exchanged a look, both of you laughing at how easily lando had fallen in love with her. “careful, lando,” lily teased, “she’s already got you wrapped around her finger.”
lando straightened up, laughing, and ruffled his hair. “i’m just saying, if she’s anything like her parents, she’s going to be the most powerful person in the paddock. we might as well start the negotiations early.”
as the two of you laughed, a few other drivers came over to greet the new arrival. george russell, lewis hamilton, and carlos sainz all stopped by, each eager to meet the baby. george and lewis made playful remarks about her future in racing, joking about how she’d be faster than them in a few years, while carlos grinned and offered her a tiny race car toy, which you carefully placed beside her in her little stroller.
throughout it all, your heart swelled. your little girl was surrounded by so much love already—by her parents, her family, and the extended family that the paddock had become over the years. you couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to introduce her to the world.
“she’s going to be so spoiled by all of you,” you said, shaking your head with a smile as you looked around at the drivers gathered around her.
lily laughed and leaned into you, resting her head on your shoulder. “i think we’ve already spoiled her,” she whispered. “but i don’t think anyone minds.”
oscar wrapped his arm around both you and lily, his other hand gently resting on their daughter’s tiny leg. “i can’t believe she’s here,” he said softly, his voice full of awe. “i’m just so happy.”
“me too,” you whispered back, leaning in to kiss the top of lily’s head. “me too.”
the baby stirred in your arms, her tiny lips twitching as though she were smiling in her sleep, and you couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of love and contentment. your family, right here, surrounded by all these wonderful people who already adored her, was everything you had ever dreamed of and more.
today was just the beginning, and you couldn’t wait to see where the journey would take all of you—together.
don’t hesitate to leave a request!

Hey, I love your fanfics so much!! I would like to know if you could make one that involves anguish... Charles' daughter suffers an accident and he panics
Papa is here
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The house was filled with laughter and the clinking of wine glasses as Charles and Alexandra enjoyed a quiet evening with their friends. Carlos and Rebecca sat comfortably at the dining table, while Pierre and Kika occupied the couch, engaged in an animated conversation. The air smelled of good food, candles flickered warmly, and for once, life felt simple.
"She really drives everywhere now, doesn’t she?" Carlos chuckled, swirling the deep red liquid in his glass.
"Everywhere," Charles said with a soft smile, leaning back in his chair. "Mall, school, beach… I swear, I barely see her anymore."
Alexandra sighed but with a proud gleam in her eyes. "She’s independent, and honestly, it’s been a relief. She’s always been responsible."
Pierre smirked, nudging Charles. "She got that from her mother."
Charles scoffed. "Excuse me? I think I was a pretty responsible teenager."
"You? Responsible?" Rebecca laughed. "Didn’t you once race your dad’s car through Monaco because you were late for dinner?"
Carlos burst into laughter. "I’d pay to see that!"
Charles groaned, rubbing his temples as the others teased him. But despite the playful banter, pride swelled in his chest. His little girl, his Yn, had grown up so fast.
Just then, Alexandra’s phone buzzed. She barely glanced at it before picking up.
"Hello?"
Everyone continued talking, but within seconds, the atmosphere shifted. Alexandra’s expression froze, her body went rigid, and her grip on the phone tightened.
"What?!" she cried, standing abruptly. Her chair scraped against the floor as she turned pale. "No, no, no—please, tell me she’s okay! Please!"
The entire room fell silent. Charles’ heart stopped.
Alexandra’s breath came in ragged gasps. "Where is she? How bad is it? I need—I need to see her! Please!"
The moment she ended the call, tears streamed down her face as she looked at Charles.
"It’s Yn," she whispered, her voice breaking. "She—she had an accident. Another driver hit her."
Charles felt the air leave his lungs. His heart pounded violently in his chest, his ears ringing. "Where?" he choked out.
"The hospital," Alexandra sobbed. "She’s in surgery."
No one wasted another second.
The drive to the hospital was tense and silent, except for Alexandra’s quiet crying and Charles’ shaking hands gripping the wheel. His mind was racing, his thoughts a blur of fear and worst-case scenarios. He couldn’t lose her. He couldn’t.
When they arrived, Charles practically ran inside, the others hurrying after him.
"My daughter—Yn Jules Leclerc," he gasped at the nurse's station, barely able to form words. "She was brought in after a car accident. Please, tell me she’s okay."
The nurse gave him a soft, apologetic smile. "She’s still in surgery. The doctors are doing everything they can."
Alexandra let out a pained sob, covering her mouth as Rebecca wrapped an arm around her. Kika, holding back tears herself, held her other hand.
Charles stepped back, running both hands through his hair as panic clawed at his chest.
Pierre and Carlos exchanged worried looks before stepping closer.
"Hey, Charles, breathe, mate," Pierre murmured, placing a firm hand on his shoulder.
"Breathe? My daughter is in surgery, Pierre!" Charles snapped, his voice shaking. "I—I don’t even know if—" He cut himself off, unable to say the words.
Carlos took a slow step forward. "Listen to me. I know you’re scared. We all are. But you’re no good to Yn if you collapse from a panic attack, okay?" His voice was steady but gentle, his hand squeezing Charles’ shoulder.
Charles squeezed his eyes shut, his breath uneven. His whole body trembled, and for a terrifying moment, he felt like he was losing control.
Pierre guided him to a chair. "Sit. Just for a moment."
"I can’t—I can’t just sit while she’s—"
"I know," Carlos said quietly. "But you need to breathe."
Charles swallowed hard, gripping his knees, trying to steady himself. He could hear Alexandra’s quiet sniffles, Rebecca whispering reassurances, Kika rubbing her back.
The minutes dragged on painfully. Every time footsteps echoed down the hall, Charles’ head snapped up, desperate for news.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, a doctor in blue scrubs approached.
"Yn Leclerc's family?"
Charles shot up so fast his chair nearly fell over. "Yes! Yes, we’re her parents!"
The doctor nodded, his face unreadable. "She’s out of surgery. The accident caused significant injuries—her left arm is broken, and she had internal bleeding, but we were able to stabilize her. She’s still unconscious, but she’s strong. She made it through."
Charles let out a shaky breath, relief and fear mixing painfully in his chest. "Can I see her?"
"She’s in room 214," the doctor said with a small smile. "She’ll need time, but she’ll recover."
Before anyone could react, Charles was already running.
The sight of Yn in the hospital bed nearly broke him.
Her face, usually so full of life, was pale and bruised. A bandage wrapped around her forehead, her arm in a cast, tubes connected to machines that beeped softly.
Charles’ legs nearly gave out.
He stumbled to her bedside, his hands trembling as he reached for her, brushing a few strands of hair away from her face.
"Papa is here, mon amour," he whispered, his voice raw with emotion. His fingers stroked her hair gently, as if afraid she might break under his touch.
He had been so scared. So, so scared.
"I should have been there," he murmured, his throat tightening. "I should have protected you."
His other hand grasped hers, careful not to disturb the IV line. He brought it to his lips, pressing a soft, shaky kiss to her knuckles.
"You scared me, mon ange," he admitted, his eyes stinging. "But I’m here now. I’m not going anywhere."
The door opened quietly, and Alexandra walked in, her eyes red from crying. Behind her, Pierre, Carlos, Rebecca, and Kika lingered.
Seeing Yn like this broke her all over again. She clutched Charles’ shoulder for support. "She’s okay," she whispered, mostly to reassure herself.
Charles nodded but didn’t take his eyes off their daughter. "She is."
Silence filled the room, heavy with emotions.
Rebecca sniffled. "She’s gonna be so mad when she wakes up and sees all of us hovering."
Pierre chuckled weakly. "She’ll roll her eyes and tell us we’re dramatic."
Carlos smirked. "That would be a good sign."
Charles finally let out a small, exhausted laugh. "Yeah… it would."
They stayed there, surrounding Yn with love, waiting for her to wake up. And when she did, Charles would be right there, holding her hand, reminding her that no matter what—
Papa is here.

Series List
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The five of us run down the dorm hall, nearly loosing the pair leading. We come to a stop at Carlos and Charles dorm room. Lando and Max have their ears to the door. Giggling and small talk resonate through it.
“Mate where’s your key?” Lando whispered to Carlos. I could see Carlos think before breaking out a devilish grin and handing Lando the key.
I look to Oscar and we have the same stance and thoughts. “Let’s hope they have clothes on.” Oscar whispered.
“Why have experience with not?” I tease. His cheeks flush and we’re interrupted by the door being opened. I nearly speak up but realize that will not help him in the slightest. To be fair his friends just burst in on his ‘date’
“Charles.” Max drags out walking in first. I hear a ruffle of sheets and can’t help laughing. Oscar joins and we back up from the door.
“Who else is with you?” I hear Charles panic. That’s my cue to run. Before I do I look at Oscar with wide eyes. I start running and hear Lando laugh.
“Where are we going?” Oscar asked. He gets his answer when I stop at his door. It has ‘Osc and Lils’ on the door. Great. Amazing. Thrown in my face once again.
“Figured I’d walk you back, don’t seem the type for pranks.” I say through breaths, still recovering from running.
“Really not a good idea, Lilly might-“ The door opens. Fuck. I look at the girl, long, light brown hair and a pajama set that is way too revealing for comfort. “Hey baby.” He greets her with a kiss that she barely gives back. She looks me up and down before pulling Oscar in the room without a word spoken.
I walk down the hall to Lando and I’s dorm. I open the door and decide I need to shower. I grab pajamas, a towel, and start the shower. Midway I hear the now three boys enter, still laughing from their prank. I get out drying myself off and sighing.
I dress myself and return to my room, drying my hair still. Lando walks to my side, the other two following suit. “They were so about to fuck.” Lando burst out laughing. I give a light chuckle back and a weak smile.
“Where’s Oscar? Not in your shower huh?” Max asked teasing me. Carlos taps Max in the balls and he doubles over.
“Where is Oscar?” Lando asked, back to reality from laughing so hard. I give him a sigh and throw the towel in the hamper.
“He’s with ‘lils’” I say. They all look at me with guilty and apologetic looks. “Why do you all look surprised like I wouldn’t find out?” I ask.
They go quiet and look at each other. Lando scratched his neck nervously. “Well we kind of bet on it..” Max admitted. “Since you know now, it won’t work.”
“Disgusting all three of you.” I say. I was already pissed Oscar was basically leading me on but now I’m furious it was a bet. “You’re the one who told me he had a girlfriend!” I point to Lando.
Max and Carlos did not know that. “Mate you selfish dick.” Max said. “The bet was-“ Carlos clapped a hand to his mouth before he could continue.
“The bet was what exactly?” My attitude had reason now. The door open to the dorm and Charles appears from Lando’s side. “Charles what bet did you have on me?” Charles can’t lie to save his life.
“Fuck what did I walk into?” He sighed. Carlos didn’t let him continue, clapping his other hand against Charles mouth too. Lando looked guilty as all hell.
“I will sleep in my car if you don’t fess up right now Norris.” He sighed and looked to his friends.
“The bet was get Oscar to cheat or get you for myself.” He admitted. I scoff and decide I’m sleeping somewhere else anyway.
“You all need to grow up.” I say. I decide on something horribly worse than me sleeping elsewhere. I put on slippers and walk past the men. I walk out and slam the door.
I walk down the hall and knock. The same girl from earlier opens the door. “Can I help you?” She asked innocently.
“Yes actually, can I speak with you?” I ask just as innocent. She steps out and closes the door. “Oscar made a bet with his friends to cheat on you.” I walk away before she can respond and flip the group off when I enter the room again, slamming the door once again.

Yelp • Chapter 1 ls2
Tumblr media
masterlist previous chapter next chapter
words: 1.5k
warnings: cursing, implied off"screen" deaths, injury/blood, implied character death
notes: this first chapter is mostly just exposition (and a little sad i know), but at the very end you get a sneak peak of the action before everything turns totally cray. (there will be more defined logan x parker in the future chapters as well.) parker is supposed to be the "reader" character. i decided to use a gender-neutral name instead of y/n because that's not my thing. she/her pronouns and feminine descriptions are used, but her gender is not a major plot point at all, so you can totally still read this imagining parker however you want. i hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“God, it’s so weird just going right back to school like nothing’s even happened,” Parker started.
“Yeah,” Logan agreed. “Five fucking kids are dead, but science! Calculus! English!” he finished mockingly.
“Well, four,” Oscar corrected him, Lily nodding along.
Logan let out a large exhale and nodded. “Crazy he survived that shit considering how fucked up the rest of them were.”
“Well, you know what they say about quiet kids,” Arthur chimed in. The other five immediately turned to look at him in confusion.
“What?” Fred questioned incredulously.
“What?” Arthur demanded. “They’re like actually really cool and badass and stuff.”
“Huh?” Logan inquired with a furrowed brow. “I thought the thing was that they’re like… kinky and shit.”
“Mate, what the fuck?” Arthur responded defensively. “Why would I say that?”
“Well, that’s like the thing people say,” Logan bickered. “I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about, but I’ve never heard anyone say that in my entire life.”
“Shut the fuck up,” Arthur retorted, making them all burst out into laughter for a brief moment before they all returned to a somber silence when they remembered the conversation that led them here in the first place.
Tumblr media
“Are you sure you don’t want me to walk you to class?” Logan pressed, his pleading tone making it obvious that he was asking for his own sake instead of his girlfriend’s.
“No,” Parker laughed him off, pushing his chin off of her shoulder and his arms from around her waist. “The health room is all the way on the other side of the building. You’ll be late. Again.”
“Yeah, well-” Logan began to protest before his newest complaint was interrupted by a loud crack behind him that made the both of them jump. They turned around to see Zhou Guanyu staring back at them guiltily.
“Sorry,” he started to apologize “I just dropped-”
“Oh, no, that’s okay,” Logan interrupted, as Parker reached down to pick up the textbook that fell from his locker.
“Thank you,” he said with a shy smile when she handed it back to him.
“No problem,” she reassured him, returning the expression. “It’s the least I can do, especially considering…” She trailed off, instead gesturing to his left arm which was fully encased in a sling.
After a moment of awkward silence, the girl spoke up again. “Um, what class do you have next? I can help you carry your things,” she offered.
“Bio,” he answered, “but it’s alright,” the boy quickly added. “It’s not far, I wouldn't want you to go out of your way-”
“No, that’s perfect,” she interrupted. “I’ve got psych first period, so I’m headed to the science wing too,” she explained, lifting the heavy load from his hands, right as the morning bell rang.
“Alright,” Logan said, leaning over his girlfriend’s shoulder to give her an instinctual kiss on the cheek. “I better get going. If I’m late to Mrs. K’s class one more time I think she might beat me to death with one of the CPR dummies.”
Parker immediately bore her eyes into her boyfriend’s soul at his word choice, the poor boy not remembering his audience until the words had already left his mouth. Looking like a deer in headlights, he simply turned around and scurried off.
“Sorry,” Parker apologized once she turned back to Zhou, embarrassed.
“It’s okay,” he said, chuckling.
“Shit, we better get going or we’ll be late too.”
Tumblr media
“You guys know Zhou, right?” Parker asked the group in front of her as she led the incapacitated boy to her customary lunch spot under the oak trees in the school courtyard. The two were met with a chorus of “yeah”s and welcomes.
“I hope it’s okay that I sit with you guys today,” he asked timidly.
“Yeah, great to have you, man,” Liam assured him as Lily reached across the table to relieve Parker of the extra lunch tray.
“Didn’t we have trig together last year, mate?” Dennis piped up to ask him.
“Um… I’m not sure. I don’t think I would recognize you in class,” the bashful boy responded, leading to a roaring bout of laughter from the crowd.
“Goddamn! He got your ass, Hauger,” Jack said through a fit of childish giggles.
As the conversation continued, Parker couldn’t help but notice that one of the usual members of their crew was missing. “Hey, babe,” she said as she nudged her boyfriend’s rib to get his attention.
“What?”
“Where’s Paul?” she asked, concerned. “He said he was coming to school when I checked in on him yesterday,” the girl recalled.
“Yo, Bearman,” Logan called quietly to the younger boy sitting across from them.
“What’s up?” Ollie questioned, eyebrows raised.
“Have you seen Paul at all today? Did he change his mind about coming in?”
“No, he’s here,” Ollie informed the couple. “I think he probably just wants some time to himself right now. Usually…” he trailed off.
Parker and Logan nodded in understanding. Usually Paul wasn’t the only Aron present at the lunch table.
“How are you holding up?” Parker inquired, giving the boy’s hand a gentle squeeze. Paul had lost a brother, but Ollie had lost the next best thing. His best friend. “I’m alright, thanks for asking,” he replied a little too quickly, flitting his eyes away from the couple before abruptly turning to rejoin the ongoing conversation to his right.
Logan and Parker shared a sad glance, but decided it was better to leave the boy be. Paul probably wasn’t the only one who needed space.
“So,” Arthur’s voice rang out, gathering everyone’s attention. “We’ve got Wednesday off, what say you all we hang at my place tomorrow night.”
“OMG! Sleepover!” Jack shrieked in a high pitched voice, eliciting a few snorts from the kids surrounding him.
“Shut up, Doofus,” Arthur shouted at him playfully.
“That’s not my name, Lecdumbass,” the other boy snapped back, overdramatically rolling his eyes in jest.
“Anyways…” Arthur hollered over his friends’ audible amusement, attempting to gather their attention again. “Is everybody in? You too, Guanyu,” he clarified, to which the meek boy simply nodded, much to the others’ delight. “Awesome!”
As everyone else agreed to the plan, Jack interrupted once again. “Can’t. My parents have been totally freaking out over all this shit. You know how they are. So, unfortunately, the only party I will be attending is Doohan family game night hosted at 15 Fairview Road. Sorry, gang.”
“Well, hope you have fun playing Scrabble with Mummy tonight,” Liam teased.
“Yeah,” Dennis joined in sarcastically, “maybe if you’re lucky she’ll let you have a scoop of chocolate ice cream too. With sprinkles!”
“Alright, fuck you all, I’m out of here,” Jack countered, beginning to gather his things in perfect unison with the end-of-lunch bell.
“Bye-bye, Doofenshmirtz!” Parker called to the boy’s back.
“See ya when Mama Doohan lets you out of your cage again,” her boyfriend added with a big grin, made even wider when Jack simply flipped them off as he continued walking away.

Dennis had worked his ass off all summer. He wanted that spot on the team and he wanted it bad. So, in the month leading up to tryouts, he had to keep up his training. And if Coach saw how dedicated he was maybe that would benefit him too.
After another grueling workout under the hot September sun, Dennis made his way back to the empty locker room. He could smell, see, feel, and taste the sweat on his body, making him strip off his soaked through shirt before the door had even fully closed behind him. He needed a shower ASAP.
All of a sudden, he felt the air knocked out of his lungs as his back hit the ground, letting out a strident wheeze. He laid there for a moment, groaning in pain and sweating even harder than before. Wait, no. That wasn’t sweat…
The boy wearily lifted his head off the ground, still recovering from the harsh impact of his fall, only to see the entire floor of the room flooded.
“What the fuck?” he sighed out with the little breath he was able to collect.
He slowly lifted himself back to his feet, ignoring his spinning head, until he looked down at where he had been only to be greeted by a river of pink floating in the shallow water. He reached his fingers to softly touch the back of his throbbing head and was immediately met with an intense pain and sticky, red blood covering his hand.
The boy sluggishly stumbled forward toward the sinks in order to better assess the situation and clean his open wound. The only sounds he could make out were his laboured breaths and the splashes of his feet meeting the puddles beneath him. Splish. Splash. Splish. Splash. Splish. He paused for a moment as the world spun around him.
Splash.
But the sound of that extra step behind him didn’t register in time for him to save himself.

Last Christmas | Max Verstappen
Hello loves! This is my first time making a fanfiction so please be kind! This is an x OC since I don't particularly enjoy writing x Readers. My requests are open so feel free to request I write something! This story is inspired by the two songs 'Last Christmas' by Wham! and This Christmas by Donny Hathaway. Also, the Christmas candle I picked up from DG :D
Max Verstappen x OC
Summary: In which Lando's sister spends Christmas with the same person that broke her heart last Christmas.
Warnings: none
Last Christmas
Tumblr media
Hannah Norris tugged her suitcase through the crisp snow, the wheels sticking every few inches in the uneven terrain. She muttered under her breath, exasperated but warmed by the thought of seeing her brother again. Lando’s invitation had been insistent, pleading almost, as though he’d known just how much she’d needed a break. He hadn’t come right out and said he missed her, but the fact that he’d practically guilted her into coming was enough of a tell.
After nearly a year of dodging race weekends and inventing excuses to miss events, she’d missed him too.
A soft glow came from the cozy log cabin nestled against a line of snow-dusted pines, warm lights spilling onto the porch. She could already hear familiar laughter inside and was surprised by how much she missed the rowdy, laid-back energy of Lando’s friends.
She climbed the porch steps, stomping the snow from her boots, and the door opened before she could reach for the handle. Daniel Ricciardo appeared with a wide grin, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
“Hannah Norris! Long time no see,” he beamed, pulling her into a warm, bear-like hug that lifted her off the ground.
“Hi, Daniel!” She laughed, surprised but grateful for the enthusiastic welcome. Her nerves instantly eased.
“Finally! The last Norris has arrived,” called another voice. Hannah looked up to see Max Fewtrell, his smile genuine as he reached for her suitcase. “Here, let me get that.”
“Thanks, Max,” she replied, letting him take her bag. She glanced around the cozy room, the scent of pine and cinnamon filling the air, blending with the warmth of a crackling fire. Oscar Piastri waved at her from the sofa, raising a cup of hot chocolate, already looking at home in plaid pajamas and fluffy socks. Next to him was Lily Zneimer, her eyes instantly lighting up as she saw her.
“Hey girl! Glad you decided to come!” She said waving and grinning from ear to ear.
But then her stomach dropped. She noticed him at the same time he seemed to notice her.
Max Verstappen stood near the fireplace, his expression unreadable, arms crossed and eyes fixed on her. The laughter around her faded, and time seemed to slow as the memories from their last encounter resurfaced, like an old scar she’d almost forgotten.
She hadn’t seen him in nearly a year—had tried her best to ensure it. Memories of their last Christmas, of his sudden disappearance without a word, flooded her mind, stirring up hurt she’d thought she’d buried.
Lando appeared beside her, beaming. “Well, Hannah, Merry Christmas! We’ve all missed you,” he said, but his eyes flicked between her and Max with a hint of suspicion, as if he’d just noticed something was going on.
Hannah swallowed hard, pasting on a smile as her brother introduced her to everyone again, acting oblivious. But all she could feel was Max’s stare, both familiar and distant, and the unresolved silence between them hanging heavier than ever.
❄❄❄❄
The brief introductions lingered in Hannah’s mind as she unpacked in her small, cozy room. She took in a deep breath, forcing herself to push past the last, unbearable moment she’d had with Max last Christmas. It’s been almost a year, she told herself, folding her sweater a bit too precisely, almost willing the repetitive action to keep her calm.
When he’d left without a word, she’d tried to convince herself it had all been a mistake—she’d misread him, the feelings she’d thought were mutual. For months, she’d avoided places she knew he’d be, keeping her distance from the racing world to avoid any chance of running into him. She was here for her brother and her friends, she reminded herself, and nothing more. She’d enjoy herself, stay busy, and just avoid him.
Easy enough, she assured herself.
After she’d finished unpacking, she made her way back to the living room. Lando and the others were sitting around the coffee table, laughter filling the room as they played a game of Uno. She slid into the spot beside Oscar, trying to focus on the game and enjoy the moment. But every so often, she’d catch a glimpse of Max at the edge of her vision, his gaze occasionally darting her way, and the tension would settle in again. It was like a knot that refused to untangle.
“Oh, come on, that’s unfair!” Lando protested, tossing down a draw-four card with a scowl as Oscar grinned, claiming victory for the second time. The others burst into laughter, and Hannah found herself smiling despite the awkward tension.
The next morning, Lando proposed a shopping trip to the nearby town. They all piled into the cars, with Daniel, Oscar, Lily, and Max in one, and Hannah, Lando, and Max Fewtrell in the other. Once they reached town, Hannah fell back, letting the group’s energy fill the gaps in her mind as she strolled among the holiday lights and decorations, taking in the scent of fresh pine and hot chocolate from the street vendors.
As they drifted into a small shop lined with wool scarves and handcrafted trinkets, Daniel hung back, catching her eye. “Hey, let’s grab a coffee while they’re shopping?” he asked with an easy smile.
“Sure,” she replied, managing a small smile as they ducked out of the shop and into a little café down the street.
The warmth of the café was a welcome contrast to the icy air outside. Daniel ordered two coffees, and they settled into a booth by the window, watching snowflakes drift past as Christmas music hummed softly in the background. But Daniel’s gaze was keen, seeing right through the wall she’d built around herself.
“So,” he began, crossing his arms over the table. “Something’s off with you. Spill.”
She took a sip of coffee, trying to decide how much she wanted to reveal. Bottling it up for months had felt easier, but with Daniel’s calm, familiar presence, the words began to surface almost on their own. “It’s… just complicated.”
Daniel raised an eyebrow, his gaze steady. “It’s about Max, isn’t it?”
The way he asked, so matter-of-factly, dissolved her defenses entirely. She sighed, staring into her coffee. “Last year… around this time actually, Max and I, we were—well, things were good, or at least I thought they were. But then one day, he just left. No explanation, no goodbye. He was gone. And it was as if we’d never even known each other.” Her voice dropped, barely a whisper. “It hurt more than I want to admit.”
Daniel’s expression softened. “That’s tough, Hannah. He can be... hard to read. But look,” he said, pausing as he gathered his thoughts, “whatever he was thinking, that’s his mistake to fix, not yours to carry. Just be here for you, yeah? No avoiding the guy; just own the room. This is your holiday too.”
Hannah managed a small smile, feeling some of the weight lift. “Thanks, Danny. I needed to hear that.”
“Anytime. Now let’s get back before Lando buys out half the shop.”
They shared a laugh, finishing their coffees before making their way back to the others. For the first time in a long time, Hannah felt like she could take a real breath, determined to enjoy this Christmas on her own terms.
❄❄❄❄
Back at the cabin, Lando wasted no time corralling everyone to the living room. “All right, team! I present to you…” He opened his arms grandly toward the corner, where a tall, slightly lopsided Christmas tree stood, its branches dusted with pine needles and ready to be transformed. “The centerpiece of our cozy holiday.”
Daniel let out a playful groan, but his grin was unmistakable. “Decorating duty, really? Just when I thought I’d get to kick back.”
“Oh, don’t worry,” Lando grinned, clapping a hand on Hannah’s shoulder. “Hannah, Max, and I will handle the tree. You get to be on eggnog and hot cocoa duty with Max #2, Lily, and Oscar.”
“Uh, Quick question,” Max F. queried “Who is Max #2?”
“Why you of course!” Lando exclaimed.
Max F. groaned, “Why do I have to be #2? Why can’t he be #2?” He said pointing to Max V.
“Because, Max Verstappen is #1, not #2 in Formula 1.” Lando insisted.
Hannah, who was already calculating where each decoration would go on the tree, shrugged and said “Seems fair enough to me.” Max #2 was about to say something but just shut up and started walking towards the kitchen mumbling about how he would show him who’s #1.
“Can’t argue with that,” Daniel chuckled, trailing after the others toward the kitchen.
“Well,” Hannah said sighing “Where are we going to find decorations for the tree? It’s not like any of you brought any.”
Lando just shook his head and chuckled saying “Come on, Hannah. You really think I didn’t plan before? Have a little faith!” Hannah trusted Lando’s planning skills as much as she trusted Ferrari’s strategists to not mess things up.
Hannah just rolled her eyes and said “Okay Lan, where are these so-called decorations at?”
The tree-decorating trio found themselves climbing into the attic, finding an old, slightly dusty box filled with ornaments of all kinds—wooden stars, silver baubles, strings of tiny bells, and even a few vintage-looking figurines. They carried the box back down and set it beside the tree.
As they started sorting through the decorations, Lando set to work on the lights, grumbling over a particularly tangled strand. Hannah took a few delicate silver ornaments and began spacing them along the lower branches, noticing Max’s silent presence as he worked on the higher branches.
The room was quiet, save for Lando’s occasional complaints about the lights, but the holiday cheer in the air seemed to soften the edges of the silence between her and Max. Every so often, she’d glance up, only to catch him looking at her, quickly turning his attention back to the tree.
Lando finally managed to get the lights untangled, filling the tree with a warm glow that danced over the ornaments they’d carefully placed. With a satisfied nod, he stepped back. “There! Not too shabby, right?”
“Looks amazing,” Hannah said, taking a step back beside him. She couldn’t deny that despite the awkward tension, it was starting to feel a little like Christmas.
The others returned with trays of eggnog and steaming mugs of hot cocoa, the scents of cinnamon and nutmeg filling the room as they settled down to admire the tree. For the first time that weekend, Hannah felt a sense of warmth and contentment, her worries about Max drifting to the background in the cozy glow of the cabin.
****
As the others started heading to bed, Hannah lingered, watching the fire in the hearth until only embers remained. She slipped outside onto her balcony, breathing in the crisp night air, hoping it would help clear her mind enough to sleep.
But as she stepped out, she noticed she wasn’t alone.
Max stood on the balcony next to hers, leaning against the railing and staring out at the snow-dusted pines silhouetted under the moonlight. He turned at the sound of her footsteps, his expression softening just slightly as he met her eyes.
“Couldn’t sleep either?” he asked, his voice quiet but carrying easily in the still night air.
She hesitated, then shook her head. “Not really. Thought some fresh air might help.”
They fell into a comfortable silence, the soft crunch of snow under her boots as she shifted her weight the only sound. After a moment, Max looked away, seeming almost nervous, which was so unlike him that she couldn’t help but be curious.
“I know… things didn’t end well between us,” he said finally, his voice barely above a whisper. “I didn’t handle it right, Hannah. I thought leaving was the only way to… deal with things.”
She was surprised by his openness, feeling the hurt resurface but also the clarity that time and distance had given her. “Max, you didn’t just ‘not handle it right.’ You left without a word, and it felt like none of it mattered. Like I didn’t matter.” Her voice was steadier than she’d expected.
Max’s jaw tensed as he listened, nodding. “You’re right,” he said after a pause, and his honesty, while painful, somehow eased the ache just a bit. “I thought keeping my distance would make things easier. But… I missed you, Hannah. More than I wanted to admit.”
She met his gaze, surprised by the vulnerability in his eyes. It felt like a small bridge had formed between them, built on an honest admission they’d both needed to hear.
“Well,” she replied, offering him a tentative smile, “maybe we could just start over. Without any grand expectations.”
Max gave a small, appreciative nod, his mouth curving into a soft smile. “I’d like that.”
They fell silent again, but this time, the quiet felt comforting. The shared memories, the hurt and confusion, seemed to melt into the background as they stood together under the winter stars.
“Goodnight, Max,” she said finally, her voice softened by a new calm.
“Goodnight, Hannah,” he replied, and for the first time, it felt like a real, hopeful goodbye.
❄❄❄❄
The morning came softly, sunlight streaming through the cabin windows and melting the lingering frost. Hannah stretched, feeling a strange mix of calm and anticipation. Last night’s conversation with Max had been unexpected, but it left her with a glimmer of hope—maybe this holiday wouldn’t be as complicated as she’d feared.
The group decided to have a lazy day indoors, soaking in the cozy charm of the cabin. Lando and Max Fewtrell settled into a video game tournament, Daniel, Oscar, and Lily began setting up an elaborate puzzle on the dining table, and Hannah, itching for something festive, decided to bake cookies.
In the kitchen, she rummaged through the pantry, delighted to find everything she needed: flour, sugar, spices, and even a bag of chocolate chips. As she tied an apron around her waist, she rolled up her sleeves, eager to lose herself in the rhythm of baking.
The first batch of dough was already rolled out when she heard someone walk in. Glancing over her shoulder, she wasn’t surprised to see Max Verstappen leaning against the doorframe, his hands tucked into his hoodie pocket.
“What’s that smell?” he asked, his tone teasing but warm.
“Cookies,” she replied with a smile, gesturing toward the tray on the counter. “I figured we needed some proper Christmas spirit around here.”
Max stepped closer, peering at the dough she was cutting into neat circles. “You bake?”
“I do,” she said, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “I find it relaxing. And rewarding. People are always happier after cookies.”
“Can’t argue with that,” Max said, the corner of his mouth lifting into a grin. He nodded toward the tray. “They look good.”
Hannah tilted her head toward the counter. “Want to help?”
Max raised an eyebrow, but there was a flicker of curiosity in his expression. “Are you sure? I’m not exactly a pro in the kitchen.”
“Well,” she said, flashing a mischievous smile, “there’s a first time for everything. Come on, I’ll show you.”
Reluctantly, Max grabbed an apron, his movements a bit clumsy but endearing. Hannah handed him a rolling pin and showed him how to roll out the second batch of dough.
They started with small talk—safe topics like favorite holiday traditions and their plans for New Year’s—but as they worked, their conversation grew more relaxed, filled with shared laughter and the occasional teasing remark.
Max was surprisingly focused, carefully pressing cookie cutters into the dough. “Like this?” he asked, holding up a perfectly cut gingerbread man.
“See? You’re a natural,” she said, impressed.
“Maybe I’ve been hiding my talents all this time,” he said with a smirk.
When Hannah reached for the flour to sprinkle over the counter, a wicked idea crossed her mind. Without thinking too much, she grabbed a pinch of flour and flicked it toward Max, dusting his sleeve.
He froze, staring at the white powder. Slowly, he looked at her, narrowing his eyes. “You did not just do that.”
“Oops,” she said, feigning innocence.
“Oh, you’re in trouble now.”
Before she could react, Max grabbed a handful of flour and tossed it back at her, catching her square on the shoulder. She gasped, both in surprise and amusement. “Oh, it’s on, Verstappen.”
What started as a playful retaliation quickly escalated into an all-out war. Max ducked behind the island, grabbing more flour, while Hannah took cover behind the fridge, giggling uncontrollably as they lobbed handfuls of flour at each other like snowballs.
“You’re terrible at this!” Max called, emerging to throw another handful.
“I’m just warming up!” Hannah shot back, countering with a well-aimed sprinkle that landed right in his hair.
By the time they finally stopped, the kitchen was a disaster. Flour coated the counters, the floor, and both of them. Hannah was doubled over with laughter, her face flushed as she wiped her hands on her apron.
Max leaned against the counter, grinning through the layer of flour dusting his hair. “This is… not how I thought baking cookies would go.”
She laughed, catching her breath. “Me neither, but you have to admit, it was worth it.”
Their laughter died down, leaving a comfortable silence between them. Max looked at her, his expression softer now, and she felt a flicker of the connection they’d shared on the balcony.
“Well,” she said finally, breaking the moment, “we should probably clean this up before Lando sees.”
“Agreed,” Max said with a mock grimace. “But if he asks, I’m blaming you.”
“Oh, you’re definitely taking half the blame,” she teased, grabbing a cloth to start wiping down the counter.
For the first time since last Christmas, Hannah felt like maybe they could find their way back to something—maybe even something better than before.
❄❄❄❄
Hannah was wiping flour off the countertop while Max tackled the floor with a dustpan. The kitchen was finally starting to look somewhat presentable again, though both of them were still dusted in a fine layer of white powder. She couldn’t help but laugh as she glanced at Max, who had an impressive streak of flour across his cheek and hair that now looked a little snow-dusted.
“You missed a spot,” she teased, pointing at his face.
Max raised an eyebrow. “Oh yeah?” He leaned toward her, smirking. “Like you’re one to talk. You look like a snowman.”
Before she could fire back, the sound of footsteps and muffled voices echoed down the hall. The door swung open to reveal Daniel and Lily, both stopping in their tracks at the sight before them.
Daniel’s eyes widened, his lips twitching as he fought back laughter. “Uh… did we interrupt a food fight or…?”
Lily stood beside him, her gaze flickering between Hannah and Max, her lips curving into a sly smile. “Looks more like a flour fight to me,” she said, tilting her head knowingly at Hannah.
Hannah froze, suddenly hyperaware of how ridiculous they must look—clothes dusted in flour, cheeks streaked white, and both of them grinning like kids caught red-handed. Her eyes met Lily’s, and she quickly shook her head, mouthing, It’s not what you think.
But Lily’s expression didn’t budg. She arched an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced, and gave a subtle wink before turning her attention back to Max, who was now brushing flour off his sleeves with a sheepish grin.
“Honestly, this is tame for Max,” Daniel said, stepping further into the kitchen and surveying the mess. “I half-expected a chocolate chip explosion or something.”
“Give us some credit,” Hannah shot back, crossing her arms. “We were making cookies… things just got a little out of hand.”
“A little?” Lily echoed, gesturing to the thin layer of flour still coating the floor.
Max cleared his throat, trying to maintain some level of dignity. “The cookies are still intact,” he said, nodding toward the tray on the counter. “So technically, we succeeded.”
Daniel finally let out a full laugh, clapping Max on the shoulder. “Well, I gotta hand it to you, mate—turning cookie baking into a contact sport? That’s a new one.”
Lily grabbed a dishtowel and tossed it toward Hannah. “Here, for round two of cleanup. And Hannah,” she added in a lower voice as she passed her, “if you’re just friends, you might want to avoid looking at him like that.”
Hannah’s cheeks flushed as she quickly ducked her head, pretending to focus on wiping the counters. “I’m not—” she started, but Lily just waved her off with a knowing smile.
As Daniel and Lily headed toward the living room, Daniel called over his shoulder, “You two might want to hurry up. Lando’s threatening to start the next Uno game without you.”
Once they were gone, Max turned to Hannah, his smirk returning. “Looks, huh?” he asked, clearly having caught part of Lily’s parting remark.
Hannah rolled her eyes, though her lips twitched with the hint of a smile. “Don’t start.”
Max raised his hands in mock surrender, still grinning as he finished cleaning the last bit of flour from the floor. “Whatever you say, friend.”
❄❄❄❄
The kitchen sparkled once more, and after an afternoon spent relaxing and recovering from the cookie chaos, the group began preparing for the evening’s event—a Christmas party hosted at a nearby lodge, promised to be a night of elegance and holiday cheer.
Hannah stood in front of the mirror in her room, smoothing down the crimson fabric of her dress. It was simple yet striking—a fitted silhouette with a soft flair at the hem that skimmed just above her ankles. The deep red was complemented by a white fur coat draped over her shoulders, a nod to the winter wonderland outside. Her hair, curled in soft waves, framed her face perfectly. She added a touch of lipstick and a pair of heels to complete the look.
As she gave herself a final once-over, a flicker of nerves ran through her. She hadn’t dressed up like this in a while, and though she loved the way the outfit came together, she couldn’t help but wonder if anyone else would notice.
She stepped out of her room, carefully descending the stairs, and stopped short when she saw Max waiting in the living room. He was adjusting his cufflinks, wearing a sharp black suit with a dark green tie that complemented his striking features. His hair was styled just enough to look effortlessly charming, and when he glanced up, their eyes met.
Max froze, his fingers still on his cuff, and for a moment, he simply stared. His expression was unreadable, but there was something in the way his eyes softened as they traced over her that made Hannah’s stomach flip.
“What?” she teased, breaking the silence. “Do I have flour on me again?”
Max’s lips parted as though he was about to reply, but instead, he stayed quiet, his gaze unwavering. For once, the sharp-tongued driver seemed to be at a loss for words.
Hannah’s cheeks flushed, and she laughed softly to fill the awkward pause. “Come on, Verstappen. Don’t make it weird.”
He gave a small shake of his head, a hint of a smile tugging at his lips. “You look…” He paused again, his voice quieter now. “Incredible.”
Her breath caught for just a moment before she quickly looked away, smoothing the hem of her dress. “Thanks,” she said, her tone lighter than she felt. “You don’t look so bad yourself.”
Just then, Lily and Oscar entered the room, the latter holding the former’s hand as they approached. Lily’s eyes lit up as soon as she saw Hannah.
“Oh my God, Hannah!” she gushed, pulling her into a gentle hug. “You look amazing. That dress is perfect on you.”
Oscar nodded in agreement, grinning. “Seriously, you’re killing it tonight.”
“Thanks, guys,” Hannah said, grateful for their kind words.
“Looking sharp yourself, Max,” Oscar added with a chuckle, nodding at the driver, who simply nodded back, though his gaze briefly flickered toward Hannah again.
Daniel appeared next, raising his hands dramatically as if he were presenting her on a grand stage. “Ladies and gentlemen, the real star of the evening: Miss Hannah Norris!” he declared with a teasing grin.
Hannah laughed, shaking her head. “You’re ridiculous, Daniel.”
“Yeah, but I’m not wrong,” he said with a wink, stepping aside to let her pass. “You look fantastic.”
“Thanks, Danny,” she said, appreciating the friendly compliments.
Finally, Lando burst out of his room, still fiddling with his tie. “Sorry, sorry! It’s not my fault this stupid thing won’t cooperate.”
Hannah walked over, smirking as she adjusted the knot for him. “There. Now you look almost as good as me.”
“Almost,” Lando shot back with a grin, earning laughter from the group.
The group headed outside, where they piled into the cars to go to the lodge. Snow fell softly around them, the night air crisp and filled with the scent of pine. Hannah pulled her coat tighter around her, her heels crunching against the snow as they walked.
Max stayed a step behind her, watching as her curls caught the light from the cabin’s porch. She looked effortlessly elegant, her laughter carried on the cold wind as she chatted with Lily and Oscar ahead. He found himself lost in thought, his usual sharp wit dulled by the way she seemed to glow against the snowy backdrop.
As they reached the car, Lily gave Hannah’s arm a gentle squeeze. “Seriously, Hannah, you’re stunning tonight,” she whispered. “You’ve got everyone looking at you—even Max.”
Hannah rolled her eyes, laughing softly as she leaned closer to Lily. “Stop it,” she murmured, though her cheeks warmed.
❄❄❄❄
The lodge was stunning, draped in twinkling lights and festive garlands, with a towering Christmas tree glittering in the center of the grand hall. The warm hum of conversation and laughter filled the air, accompanied by a live jazz band playing soft holiday tunes. It fel like something out of a movie, the perfect blend of elegance and cheer.
The group stepped inside, shaking off the chill of the night air. Almost immediately, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc waved them over, their girlfriends standing beside them. Hannah smiled as they approached—Carlos was as charismatic as ever, and Charles’ warm grin made it feel like they were all old friends reunited.
“Lando!” Carlos greeted with a hearty clap on the back. “Nice of you to tell us about this party last minute, huh?”
“Didn’t think you’d come, to be honest,” Lando said with a grin. “But glad you made it.”
As everyone exchanged pleasantries, Hannah found herself standing beside Lily and the other girlfriends who were effortlessly charming. They led her over to a table near the dance floor, their laughter blending with the festive atmosphere.
Seated together, the girls sipped on glasses of wine and chatted about everything from fashion to travel plans. Hannah found herself relaxing, enjoying their company more than she expected.
Lily eventually turned the conversation toward the group dynamic. “So, Hannah,” she began, her tone playful, “I’ve noticed you and Max spending quite a bit of time together lately.”
Hannah nearly choked on her drink. “What? No. We’ve just been… baking cookies and decorating trees. That’s it.”
“Oh, come on,” Lily pressed, her grin widening. “I saw the way he looked at you tonight. You’re telling me there’s nothing there?”
The other girls leaned in, their curiosity piqued. Alexandra raised an eyebrow, her voice teasing. “She’s blushing. Definitely something.”
“There’s not,” Hannah insisted, her cheeks growing warm. “Even if I did like Max—which I’m not saying I do—he wouldn’t feel the same way.”
Lily tilted her head. “Why not?”
Hannah hesitated, the laughter fading from her tone. “Because… last Christmas, things between us ended badly. He just left without a word, and I don’t know. It made me realize I probably misread everything.”
The table fell quiet for a moment, the weight of her words settling in. Lily’s expression softened. “Hannah, I know Max can be an idiot sometimes, but… people don’t just look at their friends the way he looks at you.”
Hannah shook her head, unwilling to let herself believe it. “It doesn’t matter. I’m here to have fun, not dwell on the past.”
With that, she stood, smoothing her dress. “I’m getting a drink. Anyone want anything?”
The girls shook their heads, and as Hannah walked away, Lily exchanged a knowing look with the other girls, who both smiled.
At the bar, Hannah found herself chatting with a guy she’d just met—tall, charming, and quick to start a friendly conversation. She wasn’t interested in anything beyond small talk, but it was a nice distraction. She laughed at something he said, resting her hand on the bar as the conversation continued.
Across the room, Max stood with Lando and Charles, his jaw tightening as he watched her. He’d been keeping an eye on her all night, his mind replaying their moments together earlier in the day—the flour fight, the way she’d smiled at him in her dress, the soft warmth of her laugh. Seeing her with someone else sent an unfamiliar pang of jealousy through him, one he could no longer ignore.
“I’ll be back,” he muttered to Charles, who raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
Max crossed the room, weaving through the crowd until he reached Hannah. The guy she was talking to turned, acknowledging him with a nod, but Max barely glanced at him.
“Hannah,” Max said, his voice steady but with an edge she couldn’t quite place. “Dance with me.”
She blinked, caught off guard by his sudden presence. “What?”
“Come on,” he said, his gaze softening now. “One dance.”
The guy she’d been talking to stepped aside, sensing the shift in the air. Hannah hesitated for a moment, searching Max’s eyes for an explanation, but all she found was sincerity. Finally, she nodded.
“Okay,” she said softly.
Max led her onto the dance floor, placing a careful hand on her waist as the music shifted to a slow, jazzy rendition of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. The lights twinkled above them, casting a golden glow over the room. Hannah rested her hand lightly on his shoulder, their movements tentative at first, as though they were both afraid to break the fragile moment.
“You look beautiful tonight,” Max said, his voice low.
Hannah’s lips curved into a small smile. “You’ve already said that.”
“I mean it.”
She glanced away, trying to hide the blush creeping up her cheeks. “You’re full of surprises tonight, Verstappen.”
He chuckled softly, his thumb brushing against the fabric of her dress as they swayed. “I guess you bring it out of me.”
For the first time in a long time, the tension between them felt… easy. There was no need for words, no need to revisit the past just yet. In that moment, under the soft glow of the lodge’s lights, it was enough to simply be together.
As the song ended, their steps slowed, but neither of them moved away. Hannah met his gaze, her heart racing. For the first time, she wondered if Lily had been right—if maybe, just maybe, there was something there after all.
❄❄❄❄
The group returned to the cabin after the party, the chatter and laughter gradually fading as everyone retreated to their rooms. Hannah sighed as she kicked off her heels, finally allowing herself to relax. She swapped her red dress for her favorite pair of pajamas—a simple gray set with soft, fleece-lined slippers—and tied her hair up in a loose bun.
Sliding under the blankets of her bed, she checked her phone, expecting a few mssages from Lando or Lily about the evening’s highlights. Instead, a new text popped up.
Lily: Come downstairs. Bring your cozy self.
Lily: Don’t worry, I’ve got the cocoa.
Hannah frowned, but curiosity got the better of her. She slipped out of bed, grabbed her own fluffy blanket, and padded down the stairs.
The living room was softly lit by the glow of the fireplace, casting flickering shadows across the room. Lily sat curled up on the couch, two steaming mugs of hot cocoa on the coffee table in front of her. She looked up as Hannah entered, her expression warm and inviting.
“Figured you might need this,” Lily said, patting the spot on the couch beside her.
Hannah smiled, taking a seat and wrapping her blanket around herself. She picked up one of the mugs, the rich scent of chocolate mingling with the faint aroma of cinnamon. “Thanks. This is nice.”
They sipped their cocoa in silence for a moment, Lily leaning back against the couch with an almost lazy contentment. Hannah, on the other hand, couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more to this midnight gathering than just sharing cocoa.
“Okay,” Hannah said, breaking the quiet. “What’s this about?”
Lily grinned, setting her mug down. “What? Can’t I just want to hang out with my friend?”
“Not at midnight when I’m this cozy in bed. Spill it, Lily.”
Lily sighed dramatically, pulling her own blanket tighter around her shoulders. “Fine. I want to talk about Max.”
Hannah stiffened, immediately defensive. “There’s nothing to talk about.”
“Oh, come on.” Lily gave her a knowing look. “You two were practically glued to each other tonight. Don’t even try to tell me that was nothing.”
Hannah groaned, setting her mug down and rubbing her temples. “Lily, we danced. That’s it. He probably just felt sorry for me because I was talking to that random guy at the bar.”
Lily raised an eyebrow. “He didn’t look sorry to me. He looked… well, like a guy who couldn’t take his eyes off you all night.”
Hannah shook her head, her voice tinged with frustration. “It doesn’t mean anything. Even if I did like him—hypothetically, of course—there’s no way he feels the same. I mean, you know what happened last Christmas.”
Lily’s expression softened, her teasing replaced with genuine concern. “I do. And I get why you’re hesitant. But Hannah, people make mistakes. I don’t know what was going through Max’s head back then, but I’ve been watching him this trip, and… I don’t think he’s the same guy who left you hanging last year.”
Hannah stayed quiet, staring into her mug as she swirled the cocoa inside. “I don’t know, Lily. I just… I don’t want to get hurt again.”
“I get that,” Lily said gently. “But look at the way he acts around you. He’s always finding excuses to be near you. The way he looks at you—Hannah, it’s not just friendly. It’s like you’re the only person in the room.”
Hannah’s heart skipped a beat, but she still wasn’t ready to let herself believe it. “Even if that’s true… what am I supposed to do about it?”
Lily smiled, leaning forward and resting a hand on Hannah’s arm. “That’s up to you to figure out. But don’t let him slip away again this Christmas. If you like him—and I think you do—you owe it to yourself to find out where this could go.”
Hannah bit her lip, her mind spinning. She hated to admit it, but Lily’s words struck a chord. Maybe there was something worth exploring. Maybe this Christmas could be different.
Lily gave her arm a reassuring squeeze before standing and gathering the mugs. “Now, go get some sleep. You’ve got some thinking to do.”
Hannah laughed softly, watching as Lily disappeared into the kitchen. She curled back up on the couch, staring into the flames of the fireplace. For the first time in a long time, hope sparked in her chest. Maybe Lily was right. Maybe it was time to stop running from the possibility of something real.
❄❄❄❄
The next morning dawned crisp and clear, the perfect day for skiing. The group buzzed with excitement as they geared up, donning ski jackets, snow pants, and helmets. Hannah layered herself in a cozy sweater under her ski jacket, tying her hair back into a neat braid. She grabbed her skis and joined the others outside, where a pair of SUVs waited to take them to the slopes.
The mountain was breathtaking, its snow-covered peaks gleaming under the winter sun. The ski lifts were already buzzing with early risers, and the air was filled with the hum of anticipation.
Lando, ever the organizer, took charge of pairing everyone up for the lifts. “Oscar, you’re with Lily. Danny, you’re stuck with me. Max #2, find a buddy.”
Hannah started to step toward Oscar and Lily, but Lando, distracted and juggling several conversations, miscounted. “Hannah, you go with Max.”
“Which Max?” she asked, already knowing the answer.
“Verstappen!” Lando called out, already halfway onto the lift with Daniel.
She turned to find Max standing beside her, skis in hand and a faint smirk on his face. “Looks like it’s us.”
She sighed but smiled. “Fine, but if you drop me off the lift, I’m telling everyone.”
He chuckled. “I think you can handle yourself.”
As they settled onto the lift and it began its ascent, Hannah felt a slight flutter in her chest. They were high above the ground, the world below covered in a pristine blanket of snow. The silence was peaceful, broken only by the occasional chatter of other skiers and the rhythmic creak of the lift.
“You’ve been quiet,” Max said, his voice breaking through her thoughts.
“Just taking it all in,” she replied, glancing at him. “It’s beautiful up here.”
He nodded, his expression thoughtful. “It is. You don’t ski often, do you?”
She shook her head. “Not as much as I’d like to. Lando’s the one who’s obsessed. He keeps trying to convince me I’m a natural.”
“Well,” Max said with a teasing grin, “guess I’ll find out soon enough.”
They chatted lightly about skiing—favorite slopes, embarrassing wipeouts—until Max brought up the party. “You looked really nice last night.”
Hannah blinked, caught off guard. “Thanks. You weren’t too bad yourself.”
He laughed softly, his cheeks reddening just slightly. “You’re not the only one full of surprises, Norris.”
She rolled her eyes playfully, but her smile lingered as they neared the top of the slope.
The group skied together for most of the morning, racing down the slopes, weaving through the trees, and challenging each other to increasingly daring runs. Hannah and Max stuck close, their competitive sides emerging as they tried to out-ski each other.
“You’re slow!” Max called out as he passed her on a steep section of the slope.
“Only because you cheat!” she shouted back, laughing as she pushed herself to catch up.
At the bottom, both of them were breathless, their faces flushed with cold and exhilaration. Hannah bent over her knees, catching her breath, while Max grinned triumphantly.
“Admit it—I’m faster,” he teased.
“In your dreams,” she shot back, poking him lightly with her ski pole.
By late afternoon, the group returned to the cabin, tired but exhilarated. Hannah went upstairs to change into warm, dry clothes. She chose a cozy set of leggings and a thick sweater, pulling her hair back into a loose ponytail. As she was finishing up, she heard a familiar voice calling from outside her window.
“Hannah! Get out here!”
She stepped onto her balcony, peering down to find Max standing in the snow, his arms crossed and a mischievous grin on his face. “What is it now?”
“Just come down,” he said, his tone playful but insistent.
Curious, she grabbed her boots and coat and headed outside. The moment she stepped onto the porch, a snowball hit her square in the shoulder.
“Seriously?” she called out, laughing as she brushed the snow off her jacket.
Max grinned, already packing another snowball. “Payback for the flour.”
“You’re such a child,” she said, grabbing a handful of snow. “But fine. You asked for it.”
What started as a lighthearted exchange quickly escalated into an all-out war. They ducked behind trees and benches, pelting each other with snowballs as laughter echoed through the quiet forest. Hannah managed to catch Max off guard a few times, landing a snowball squarely on his back or chest, but he retaliated just as quickly.
At one point, she crept up behind him, ready to ambush him, but as she lunged, she slipped on a patch of ice. She let out a surprised yelp as she fell forward, landing right on top of him.
They both froze, laughter fading as their eyes met. Max’s hands instinctively rested on her waist to steady her, and she felt the warmth of his breath in the cold air. For a moment, the world around them seemed to disappear, leaving only the sound of their breathing and the soft crunch of snow beneath them.
“Hannah…” Max began, his voice barely above a whisper.
Before she could think, he leaned in, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, tentative kiss. Her breath hitched, and for a second, she froze, surprised. But then she found herself leaning into him, her hands gripping his jacket as she kissed him back.
When they finally pulled apart, both of them were breathless, their cheeks flushed—not just from the cold.
“Wow,” Max said, his voice soft.
“Yeah,” Hannah replied, her heart pounding. “Wow.”
They stayed like that for a moment longer, their gazes locked, before Max finally helped her to her feet. He grinned, brushing the snow off her coat. “Truce?”
“Truce,” she agreed, her lips curving into a smile.
As they walked back to the cabin together, the tension between them felt different—warmer, lighter, and at that moment all of Hannah’s fears and doubts melted away. Last Christmas would be nothing but a memory locked all the way in the back of her mind, she was ready to focus on this Christmas.
****
Hey guys! Thank you all so much for sticking to the end and please don't forget to like! I love you all so much and I'll catch you on the flippity flop!

“Logan!” Y/n exclaimed as she saw the blonde American walking through the paddock. She was seated with Oscar and Lily who looked at her confused as she ran to the Williams driver.
“Y/n!” Logan exclaimed as he wrapped his arm around her waist. “It’s been a hot minute, hasn’t it?”
“Of course! It’s not like we went out for dinner last night or anything.” She laughed, holding onto his shoulder.
Oscar and Lily share another glance at the sight of Y/n giggling with someone else. They knew that she was giggling with Logan was strange because she didn’t really know him, or so they thought.
The English girl furrowed up her eyebrows, feeling strange at the sight of the two. “Osc, is it just me, or is it weird to see her with Logan?”
The Australian driver hummed in response, stabbing the lettuce in his salad. Before taking a bite he mumbled, “Feels weird too.” They both let out a sigh while looking at each other. They both knew the feeling very well. It was jealousy. They couldn’t believe they felt jealous watching their friend with Logan.
Oscar glanced back at the two while Lily squinted as they watched Y/n drag her hand down Logan’s arm before hugging him goodbye. She turns around to walk back to the couple but pauses at the look on their faces.
“Why do you both look so pissy?” Y/n asked confused, sitting in front of them and grabbing her can of Red Bull that she had abandoned due to chatting with Logan.
“When did that happen?” Lily asked, a hint of jealousy in her voice.
“We’ve been chatting for a few weeks now. We hung out last night.” Y/n replied with a shrug. “We’re just seeing where this is going.”
“So you have a crush on Logan now?” Oscar asked as he took another bite of his salad. He did nothing to hide the sound of jealousy in his voice or the upset look on his face.
“Why do you both look so upset? I didn’t think it was serious.” She nervously chuckled and glanced between the couple.
Lily rested her hand over hers. Y/n hated how her heart started to race from such a small action. She actually had a crush on the couple. But due to a recent interview of Oscar calling her just a friend, she thought that if she got closer to Logan then maybe she’s lose her feelings or possibly make them jealous.
Clearly, she hadn’t gotten over her feelings.
Oscar’s voice snapped her out of her thoughts. “What’re you doing talking to other guys?” His voice was suddenly low. His girlfriend hummed in agreement, moving to sit beside Y/n.
“Why do you care so much?”
“Because we care about you, a lot,” Lily responds and wraps her arms around the confused girl.
The McLaren driver clears his throat, copying his girlfriend's action by moving to sit on Y/n’s other side. “Seems like Lily and I have newfound feelings for you. And I must say, they’re not platonic.”
She furrowed up her eyebrows again and scrunched up her nose. She looked at Oscar like he had just grown another head. “What the fuck do you mean? Weren’t you the one who called me a ‘good friend’?”
“Yeah, and he was stupid for it.” The British girl says with a smile, resting her head against her shoulder. “But he’s right. We both like you and to be fair, seeing you with Logan made us jealous.”
“That was the point,” Y/n mumbled causing the couple to laugh. Both of their hands moved to grasp hers, each taking one hand. Her heart rate began to pick up again as she kept staring between the two.
“So, give us a chance?” Oscar asked with his signature shy smile.
“I waited so long to hear you say that,” Y/n said with a smile, letting out a giggle as she squeezed both hands. “But yes. Of course.”
Lily smiled widely as she reached over to tuck a strand of Y/n's hair behind her ear, “Osc and I made you wait too long, didn’t we, pretty girl?” She said, looking over at the Australian before focusing back on the girl between them.
“Way too long.”

I admit I read everything with baby Sainz in it.🫢 And as I'm on a Lando bender again. (Loving all things Lando) I was wondering if you could write something with Baby Sainz and Lando about how they got into a fight and the whole grid is there for her and being mean to Lando but like the fight was something really little and silly. (Something like Lando not putting his clothes away)
I hope that makes sense.
Oooppp!!!! That make me so happy to know that people enjoy reading my writing. I hope you guys enjoy reading this as well and let me know if you have any requests. I will do my best to write them ASAP
-XoXo
No Part 2!!!
Trouble in paradise
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There were two things Lando hated dearly: fish and seeing his girlfriend cry. The first one is pretty self-explanatory. For him, fish tasted horrible and looked disgusting. It had a weird consistency and smelled—oh god, don’t get him started on the smell. The second thing, seeing his girlfriend cry, was because a beautiful girl like her should never have to feel any sadness. Her pretty eyes should never fill with tears, making the window to her soul more obvious than ever. Her perfect lips should never tremble, and her voice should never crack. Amira was made for being happy and carefree.
However, this morning, Lando managed to do the worst thing ever. He made his girl cry. And why? Because he is the biggest idiot on earth. The only thing she asked him yesterday was if he could start doing the laundry. Like the lovesick fool he is, he was more enamored with her presence than actually listening to her words. When she wanted to wear her favorite shirt today, which was in the laundry, Lando had to admit that he didn’t do anything. Maybe it was the current heat, her jet lag, her hunger, or the frustration that he didn’t do the simple task she asked him to do, but all of it was too much. And Amira tried to be brave, she really did. But she couldn’t help but let her frustration and sadness out through her tears. When Lando saw his girlfriend crying in front of him, he wanted nothing more than to cry himself. What kind of monster is he, making his perfect girlfriend cry because he was a lazy idiot?
The others around them immediately realized something was wrong when the couple arrived this morning in the paddock. Usually, Lando would have his arm around her shoulders, their hands intertwined, kissing her shamelessly in front of everyone and whispering sweet nothings in her ear. But today, they arrived with only their pinkies intertwined. Despite having a huge fight about something so silly this morning, the couple couldn’t stand not touching one another. If their unusual entrance wasn’t a huge sign that something was wrong, it was Amira’s behavior. Instead of wearing bright, vibrant colors, the young woman wore a black jacket with sunglasses on. Her blue shirt was the only speck of color in her outfit. If even THAT wasn’t a sign that something was amiss between them, it was on their way to the motorhomes. Instead of leading Amira proudly into his side of the garage, he brought her to the Ferrari garage. There, one could see Lando hugging Amira, whose shoulders shook. Without another word, Amira left a heartbroken Lando inside. One might have thought that something terrible had happened to his family, instead of him forgetting to do the laundry…
The news spread like wildfire that Amira and Lando had a fight because Lando couldn’t be trusted to do a simple task. The drivers and WAGs were furious when they heard about what happened. Carlos even went as far as keeping his sister inside his driver’s room, making her sleep and eat something. While Carlos was busy taking care of his precious sister, Lando had the worst day of his life. EVER.
It all started when he ran into Carmen and George. The couple were busy staring daggers at him while he was on his way to the media pen. Lando was so distracted by their glares that he didn’t see Lewis. He bumped straight into the 8-time world champion, who wasn’t very keen on seeing the young Brit. “Oh, sorry Lewis. I didn’t mean to bump into you,” Lando apologized. Lewis looked him up and down before muttering, “Seems like you never mean to do something.” Before Lando had a chance to ask what he meant, Lewis turned around and walked away.
A confused Lando continued walking to the media pen. During the conference, he was asked about his outfit ( new Quadrant merch) when Max muttered loud enough for the microphones to pick up: “Must be nice to have clothes you can wear because you can rely on your partner.” The atmosphere in the room became strained in a matter of seconds. The reporter awkwardly tried to move on. Lando wasn’t stupid; he knew what this was. This was his punishment for upsetting the paddock princess.
After a 40-minute-long speech from Lily and Kika about how important giving and taking in a healthy relationship was, Fernando calling him “El mayor idiota que ha existido en la tierra,” Charles letting Leo bite him, Lily and Oscar giving him the biggest side-eye ever throughout the day, Yuki “accidentally” pushing him into a wall, and Pierre starting gossip about him, he finally went to Carlos’s driver’s room.
He gently knocked on the door, wishing it would be his girl opening it. Sadly, today was truly not his day, because he was met with the sight of an angry Carlos. Before Lando had the chance to say anything, Carlos brought him closer. He whispered quietly in Lando’s ear: “If Amira wasn’t so damn much in love with you, you would already be under the earth. I know where you live, I know your password, I know your deepest secrets. If you ever, and I mean ever, in your entire life make my sister cry again, it will be the last thing you’ll ever do. ¿He sido claro?” Carlos only let poor Lando go after he swore to never do something stupid like that again. “Good, now you will go inside, apologize to Amira, and buy her a new freaking Birkin bag. Did I make myself clear?” Carlos sternly asked.
Safe to say that Lando did a lot of groveling that day. It took the drivers and WAGs 5 months, 1 week, 28 days, and 17 hours to stop with the “Lando-fuck-up” jokes. And Amira? She never had to wonder about a thing again; they now had a housemaid, Aurelia, who only adored Amira and not Lando.
