白濁のやや熱めのお湯。

露天風呂が広々としており、奥の植え込みの中に��なにやら敷石が点々と…

敷石の上に落ちた葉を踏み踏み辿っていくと、小さな岩風呂が現われました。緑に囲まれた素敵な空間でしたが、お湯はかなり熱かったです😅

男性は、岩風呂ではなく、洞窟風呂のようです。

この日は、女性は内風呂と露天風呂が別の場所で、一旦着替えてから移動しなければなりませんでした。

露天風呂の脱衣所は、屋根はあるものの、ほぼ外。洗い場は無く、脱衣所から湯舟直結。体を流す場所すらないので、必ず一旦内風呂でシャワーを浴びてから、露天風呂に向かいましょう。

日替わりだそうなので、日によっては内風呂から直接露天に入れると思います。

Shows up with the best takoyaki in Tokyo from the small vendor Takoyaki Senmonten Osakaya, yes, Gojo stood an hour in line just to deliver them to her! You're welcome!

How sweet. Her heart should skip a beat or two, but it was still (from anger.) Remembrance of the other day froze it to stone. The silent treatment would have been better.

A Girls’Day Out

Yesterday was the big “girls’ day out” for my birthday, and it was fab! Here’s my haul - 

1. Some great thigh highs and knee socks from Sock Dreams, plus some lovely lilac tights! And Wonder Woman socks! The staff were so very friendly, too. A true Portland gem of a store!

2. A beautiful hardbound book of three plays by Euripides from Another Read Through, a cool bookstore in the same block.

3. Some personal care items from She Bop, a fabulous adult boutique just a couple blocks further.

4. Three warm cardigans and a pair of capris from the Goodwill, on our way to the nearby mall.

5. Fake pearls and some cute earrings from Claire’s, where I got my ears pierced! Until yesterday I only had the 4-gauge piercing in my left ear, but I wanted to wear regular earrings too. I normally would prefer to support a local piercing shop, as I did with my gauge, but going to Claire’s to get your ears pierced at the mall just felt like a girlhood ritual I wanted to indulge in - plus, cheap jewelry!

6. Some lovely presents from a couple of my BFFs who were part of the girl-gang for the day - earrings, pins, a bracelet and a loooong necklace!

I’m so grateful to the four girl friends who came along on such a delightful outing! Afters, we were joined by the husband of one of our gang members and went for a delicious Japanese dinner at Koji Osakaya a few blocks from the mall.
