I'm laughing so hard rn.
I was reading Omniscient Readers Viewpoint a couple months ago and wrote notes along the way so I can character analyze later with evidence and recently got time to get back into it. (I also used emojis to find the character paragraphs easier and certain subjects)

thinkin bout how orv starts with kim dokja actively working to ensure that kim namwoon dies during the first scenario
thinkin bout how kim namwoon was a teenager at the start of the scenarios, dealing with the apocalypse using the mental paths that came easiest, jumping into the new world with both feet
thinkin bout kim dokja as a teenager. tired. hurt. alone. his internal and external struggles ignored by the adults around him. choosing to throw himself off a rooftop because there wasn’t anything in his life worth living for
thinkin bout how kim dokja woke up again, even though he had planned not to
thinkin bout a teenage boy. lost, alone, broken, scared, angry, in need of someone to come and show him how to keep moving forward
thinkin bout a protagonist in a webnovel who is an example to you of how to survive against all odds. a mantra to repeat when living life as yourself is too hard
thinkin bout a hardened and powerful hero who knows exactly how this world works, who holds out a hand offers you a place with him
thinkin bout teenage kim namwoon, looking to yoo joonghyuk as captain, teacher, and protector
thinkin bout teenage kim dokja, looking to yoo joonghyuk as role-model, hero, and refuge
thinkin bout teenage kim dokja, who saw himself more as kim namwoon than any of yoo joonghyuk’s other companions
thinkin bout adult kim dokja, reclusive and unsocial, hiding his phone from his coworker so she doesn’t see what he’s reading. convinced that yoo joonghyuk would look down on him if he learns who he “really” is. ashamed of any details kimcom learns about his past
thinkin bout what happens to a life when the person living it has never seen in it any redeeming qualities or objects of value. how someone feels about life when they tried and failed to give up that life a decade ago, and every day since has felt almost accidental
thinkin bout the lesser fire dragon. the disaster of floods. the strongest in seoul dome. the devourer of dreams. the 73rd demon king. the industrial complex. the war between good and evil. the wager with secretive plotter.
thinkin bout the most ancient dream. an empty station. a cold and hard bench. bandages and a notebook and a too-loose uniform. smaller than he should be for his age and more broken than any child should ever become. alone.
thinkin bout an unbreakable faith, shattered. a family frantically throwing themselves at their heart to save him from himself. desperate hands prying a blade out of shaking ones, moments before the jagged edge pierced deep into vulnerable flesh
thinkin bout how the younger kim dokja, recently released from the hospital, does not watch. instead, he instinctively curls up to protect the parts of himself already hurting the most. he begins to repeat his mantra
thinkin bout how kim namwoon kicked and fought and screamed and stabbed. and then, when he realized there wasn’t anything he could do, he got down on his knees and begged kim dokja for his life
thinkin bout how kim dokja just stood over him, held him in place, and looked at him in silence as the clock ran out
thinkin bout kim dokja at the beginning of his story and at the end of his story. in a subway. looking down at a teenage boy.
making a choice. the same choice, both times.
the first time: an explosion, a blood splatter on his reflection, and a confused and wary protagonist who has lost one asset and gained another
the last time: arms holding him back, a family hugging him tight, and another protagonist who steps in front of him. holds the child close. forgives him everything. offers up anything more he could need. and kim dokja watches as the person with the strongest claim to vengeance upon this younger facsimile of himself instead gently gathers up the most ancient dream, tucks him close against his chest, and walks away with him safe and sound in his arms.

i put a lot more time into my piece for the serenity zine than I usually do, so ive been wanting to make a write up with more details about what i was intending + stuff thats easy to miss (full piece without the character names can be seen here)
Tumblr media
[ID: a drawing centered on a young kim dokja writing in a notebook, surrounded by paper cut outs of ways of survival characters. there are names next to the cut outs to clarify which characters are which. End ID]
1: text on the characters
the text on all of the characters are all quotes from orv. for characters from specific rounds, the text is specifically linked to those rounds (ex: 1863 uriel has text from when kdj is thinking about how gabriel isn't aware of her own betrayal of eden). Where i could, i tried to find text that paralled kdj somehow (sp with changing the 999th worldline, and 41 sys with her resentment towards yjh paralleling kdj's towards lsk for leaving him behind.).
for characters that aren't from specific worldlines (or where i couldn't find text i wanted to use that related to their worldlines) , the text either centers something i feel is central to orv (ex jhy talking about the final wall is used in both of her cut outs), kdjs perception of the character or thoughts of them from wos (ex lsh and his line about not really knowing her), or something about the character that parallels kdj (bihyungs cut outs are both about his ending of sacrificing himself, yma is about yjh leaving in the epilogue and her belief he won't come back (which works doubly as yjh leaving as kdj often did, and yma being left behind by her guardian)).
there is also sunfish yjh. who only says "the sunfish" because of the constraints of being a tiny piece of paper. The full quote is "Maybe I had been lucky until now. I might be the 'sunfish' rather than yoo joonghyuk" from chapter 38.
i don't think everything like, perfectly follows these categories, but that was the intent for the most part. One intentional exception is that the yjh near the bottom of the drawing has the text: "I want to read this story for a little bit longer"
if you want to read all the text, I have it up on a doc here. (you can also ask me about thoughts behind specific quotes if you want to know why i chose them)
2: amount of characters + visual details
there are 2 versions of each character for the most part, with 4 exceptions: kdj (3), yjh (6, counting the sunfish but not the kkoma), and na bori and knw only having 1.
the reason there's only one na bori is because her fate is, for the most part, set before her story can be changed by yjh. there is only 1 of her in all of the characters memories, outside of the 1865 worldline (though given we see knw after kdj kills him, its not out of the question there isn't a worldline where she reappears.)
for kim namwoon, its part because of kdj's hatred for him as someone he sees himself in, and part because kdj in orv like. replaces knw pretty directly by killing him and trying to become yjh's companion. so in kdjs notes and doodles based on wos, knw is here only as an outergod king, where kdj is unaware of him.
the outer god kings all have at least one element that sets them apart from the other cut outs: sp has his crumpled paper cloak, knw's cut out is in the shape of dragons near the edges, uriel is on fire, lhs is partially tin foil, and ljh has a water stain and some of her paper is peeling off into water. this represents them being unbound from the worldlines, but since they're still bound to the story they're still made of paper.
anna croft (near uriel) is intentionally a little more 3D than the other characters, since she has memories from past worldlines. she's supposed to seem like shes going against the tide.
1863 uriel is also a bit of an exception, though not intentionally, since her halo looks better as a separate piece of paper, and i wanted her to have flames too... it fits because shes a constellation and seeing the story from a somewhat outside perspective but is still a part of it, but it wasn't intentional.
near the edges of the piece towards the right, some characters outlines start to become faded, and the paper cut out outlines become more irregular. the outer god kings are exempt because they've managed to keep their sense of self to an extent outside of the worldline.
some of kdjs books are from his library in orv.
the text for all characters is slightly cut off (i tried to make it so most of the quotes are missing some texts so you can't actually read them in full). this is both because they're cut out of a larger page, and because kdj can't actually learn everything about the characters once he meets them by reading them because you can't read people like that. so some of the text is out of view because the characters are viewed as characters to kdj and not "real" yet, so kdj doesn't see their full stories.
some concept art + one of the earliest digital sketches i have. all of my works in progress have a billion notes left on them so i know not to forget something when i get back to them:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[drawing of yjh made of paper, and an earlier sketch of the overall piece]
i sort of wish i kept the paper style of this yjh, but it wasn't meant to be....
3. final thoughts........
this really is the most... orv piece i've ever done (?), in a lot of ways. there is nothing that makes you feel more like kdj like searching up orv quotes from memory and then scrolling through the epub on your phone to find what you want. i even ended up explaining it to my mom and having to show her what a sunfish was.
there are things i would change about it if i did it now (i would probably erase the outline from adult kdjs cut out and emphasize his shadow falling on it instead), and things i didn't get to do that would've made it more like what i envisioned (ideally i would've reread all of orv to find quotes. and i didn't do that).
It's personal to me in ways that are kind of silly. I used to doodle a lot of paper cut out creatures in high school, which helped a lot with getting the sort of paper movement down here. and of course the handwriting is just my own, so i had to actually rewrite the quotes i found. it's probably the most ambitious piece i've drawn yet composition wise, and i don't think ive spent so long on a single illustration besides art studies for school. It feels like a love letter to everything orv means to me.
if you've read this far, thank you :)! i don't normally go into this much depth about my thought process, but there's a lot here i don't expect people to pick up that i wanted to get into

people always talk about this op protagonist isn’t really op dont worry but like. Kim Dokja from orv really really isn’t and I love it.
He isn’t the only one with future knowledge in fact the concept of the story he’s in is the protagonist gets to try this over and over and has future knowledge. His brand was just making power charts in his notebook during class.
None of his actual skills are useful they’re all ones he borrowed from other people. He relies frequently on trying to manipulate people into what he wants and he does this with identity theft and being kinda bitchy so that everyone wants to kill him but can’t bc he’s too suicidal so that feels kinda messed up to do and makes you feel sorry for him.
His most powerful skill is that he’s really really good at derealization and depersonalization. He isn’t even in charge of that skill it ate his mom and makes him look ugly.
Character of all time.

for the ask game? your current favorite ship, and meeting on a train ride au
this couldn’t ever be anything but an ORV fic
Kim Dokja didn’t want to feel uncharitable, but the last thing he needed right now was his train getting delayed because someone had decided to end their life in such an inconvenient way. There were neater solutions to it, though he supposed jumping in front of a train was at least more effective than jumping out of a window.
But honestly, Kim Dokja couldn’t care less. He just wanted to go home and, well, figure out what he was supposed to do with the rest of his life. Maybe he should just read Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse again? Even if the novel had disappeared from the website, Kim Dokja had copied and saved a version on it on his laptop at home. He had left the author many comments, been its only true commenter. It was a story written just for him, he could allow himself this indulgence, especially if he would pay for the novel in the future.
And then, finally, an announcement rang out.
Telling all passengers on the train. Telling all passengers on the train. E-Everyone run away… Run…!
What?
The moment the announcement was finished, the inside of the carriage became a mess, people standing up and screaming. Kim Dokja checked his phone, wondering if there was some other news appearing, yet he saw nothing but the usual weather forecast, the random game apps he had downloaded. And then the time switched from 6:59 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
At once, the darkness grew heavier, oppressing, the weight of the world bearing down on him as slowly a figure emerged.
[The free service of planetary system 8612 has been terminated.]
[The main scenario has started.]
Familiar words rang out and Kim Dokja held his breath as a scene he’d only ever pictured in his head and drawn clumsily in school notebooks blurred into reality. A small fluffy creature floated above their heads and it proclaimed horrors Kim Dokja had seen as his salvation for over a decade. As people needlessly pestered the dokkaebi, Kim Dokja sat still. This was just like his novel. A train, a monster—
Kim Dokja raised his head, searching for the number of the train carriage. Which one had he boarded?
[3707]
Oh.
This story could only have one ending, could it? And it wasn’t one he was meant to see.
The subway became a bloodbath before the main scenario even started. Had Kim Dokja not read this story before, would he have reacted the same way? Would he be smeared against the glass windows now, dead before the story even really began?
Kim Dokja calmly put his phone in his pocket. Only he knew the future and if he was lucky enough, had proven himself faithful enough to his reason for living, then maybe he’d be allowed to live past the prologue.
A small window emerged in front of everyone’s blank eyes.
[The main scenario has arrived!]
The dokkaebi smiled bloodthirstily before it bowed. [I look forward to an interesting story.]
The next moment, the screaming started again. Kim Dokja turned to the left, the very end of the carriage, from where the people were starting to drop like flies. No question then where the protagonist was. Kim Dokja turned to his right. He hadn’t noticed it before, but the person next to him, they hadn’t moved at all either, had they?
There sat a boy, probably not even middle school aged, holding a box of grasshoppers. Wirely, Kim Dokja thought that he’d need the power boost to face the protagonist.
“Let me,” he told the boy and took the box from him. He opened it just so to get a single one out and pressed it into the boy’s hand. “Now squeeze.”
The boy did as told on reflex, his widening a moment later. With that, Kim Dokja had done his part, repaid the debt he owed the kid. Another particularly gruesome scream and a glance towards the left told him he didn’t have much time. Quickly he reached within the box, squishing all the insects and eggs inside.
[You have killed a living thing.]
[100 coins have been earned as additional compensation.]
Rapidly, the notifications rang out, and just as quickly, Kim Dokja invested them, and that not a moment too late as the last person standing between him and the protagonist was easily tossed aside.
Kim Dokja grimaced and pushed the kid behind him.
Yoo Joonghyuk stared at him with cold narrow eyes, as if searching for something. “Unusual.”
Somehow, Kim Dokja couldn’t keep from grinning. “Did that not happen in your last regression?”
It was only thanks to his added speed that Kim Dokja evaded Yoo Joonghyuk reaching for him. Yoo Joonghyuk might have killed more people than anyone else on this train, but it was Kim Dokja who’d win the trophy for mass murder, having killed the most living beings.
“What do you know?”
“More than you,” Kim Dokja replied. “I can definitely lead you to the end of scenarios. Make me your companion, Yoo Joonghyuk. You won’t regret it.”
The protagonist’s eyes widened.
Yes, Kim Dokja thought. This is what I stayed alive for.

"That's right. It'll be like we're presenting him with the source of imagination. So that they can dream about this world's conclusion." Han Sooyoung studied the faces of her companions one at a time and continued on. "No one will get hurt this way. No one born in other world-lines will get harmed. All we have to do is to make those guys read a certain story, that's it." Countless Kim Dokjas scattered throughout many world-lines would all be imagining it. Those born with various appearances, living in various environments. There was no meaning in meeting them or bringing them here. The only thing the companions could hope for in this situation was a miracle. A miracle that could bring back Kim Dokja they all remembered. It was fine even if it was all a delusion, a lie – if only he could imagine their happiness… If only all those countless 'Kim Dokjas' imagined the one single universe…
Jung Heewon asked her. "…What can we help you with?" Rather than a verbal reply, Han Sooyoung placed her notebook PC on the hospital room's desk and accessed a certain text file, one that they were intimately familiar with. A novel with its title still left as "no subject". Han Sooyoung slowly, so very slowly, began typing the title of the novel.
Tumblr media
It's happening!!!
Okay, so not only did Sooyoung write TWSA specifically so Dokja would read it, now she's writing ORV specifically so Dokja will read it.
AHHHHHHH!
It's all so circular and so meta.
Literally writing ORV from within ORV.
No wonder so much of the novel was dedicated to talking about the characters making their own story. It wasn't just the characters from TWSA coming alive or Dokja "writing" the ending of TWSA as he lived it with everyone else, it was literally also building up to this very moment.

Things that I immediately dumped on my friend excitedly as soon as my friend finished orv:
- A recorded rant about the ending of the novel
- More rants that I have written down
- A youtube playlist of animatics that I love
- My in progress post-canon fic
- A playlist with songs that make me go insane over orv
- A recording of a song I changed the lyrics of to make it about orv
- The spreadsheet where I write down info about every mentioned regression
- A list of fic recs
- My doodles of the characters
- Scribbled timelines all over my notebook to try and put my thoughts to paper (they worked better in my head xD)
And now I'm just sitting here like
Tumblr media
Tbh, they very much did read the fic, but that was not the important part! (Plus, now I gotta write more and my brain only cooperates sometimes xD)

Hello— ORV whump prompt because I’m Thinking So Many Things and want to see what cool authors like you think about it!
Scenario fic: one member is brought back to the event that led to the first meeting between the party. Of course it’s our Rat that disappears in a poof of sparkles, and of course KimCom think the first people to meet were KDJ and YSA so they rush to head to Minosoft… BUT!
a) on the way they pass a certain all boys school at Just The Right Time
b) LSK is there and knows the Truth and Freaks Out
c) they don’t find him in time and track him down when he’s on the verge of d**th
Dealer’s choice hehe!
hello! i finally sat down and started writing through this ask! i appreciate that you came into my askbox and immediately slammed the button on 'misery', always a fun time lol
anyway. i have ideas. unfortunately if i attempted to fully finished these ideas, you would probably see this ask either in a year with a full fic or in uh, never, so you get this.
There is a teenager.
She looks much like any other teenager bored out of their mind in class.  Chin propped up on one hand, other hand wielding a pan tapping out a distracted staccato on her notebook, perfectly in time with the tap-tap-tap of her foot, watching the blackboard up front but mostly watching the clock above it, waiting for everything to be done.
She’s so sick of class.  Sitting in one place, trying and failing to listen to a teacher saying shit she doesn’t care about – ahhh, but she’s got to care about it, doesn’t she?  Gotta make sure she knows enough to score good on the CSAT, except that’s never going to happen because she’s got shit-for-brains, shit-for-grades.  At this point, wouldn’t it be easier just to drop out?  Who wants to live this kind of life?  Not her.  Not anyone else.  Who likes school?
…Yeah.  Jung Heewon was like that, as a kid.
“Hey, you,” Jung Heewon says.
That image of her younger self ignores her.  So does everyone else in her old middle school classroom.  The teacher drones on, uninterrupted – and it really is a droning, the kind of indistinct murmur you hear as background noise, only occasionally cut with actual lecture material.
Everything here is indistinct.  There’s a vague sense of blurriness about everything.  The faces of her teacher and the few classmates she remember are clear, or at least, almost clear.  Everyone else?  Faceless.  Unmemorable.
… Maybe that’s the point.
Yoo Sangah likes to think her memory is good, but truthfully, it’s hard to remember the faces of her middle school classmates when she hasn’t talked to them in years.  A few that she kept in contact with, sure, but everyone else, she’s likely to get wrong.
They’re in some kind of scenario space right now, and if the scenario is drawing things from her memory, that might be why everything is so… unclear.  Unreal, almost, the edges of reality soft instead of well-defined, only sharpening around her younger self as she files out of the classroom, chatting with – is that Ahn Minji?  Yoo Sangah hadn’t thought about her in years.
Things only get worse as they head outside. The younger Yoo Sangah is a beacon of clarity, but everything else is just fog, white and dense and casting a featureless pall over everything.
…No.  Wait.  Not quite.
Lee Hyunsung had taken some time to tear his eyes away from that boy he’d once been, talking to one of his seniors – “I guess I’m not really sure what to do.  I don’t have to think about it if I go directly into the military after high school, right?”  In the end, though, there wasn’t any use to paying attention to that sort of thing, not when he was alone.  He hadn’t entered the scenario alone, so where were the others?
Not in his school, he’d looked.  The only other thing he could do is go straight into that strange white fog, even if it meant he was walking blindly towards nowhere.
Except it hadn’t turned out like that.  In the backdrop of nothingness, he could make out a building, getting clearer and clearer as he ran towards it.  So well-defined – that had to mean something, didn’t it?
Shin Yoosung pressed her nose against the glass of the window.  That building, the only one she’d seen in what felt like forever, was getting closer.  Maybe that was where the train would finally stop.
Maybe the train wouldn’t stop at all.
But no, that’d be weird, wouldn’t it?  There had to be an end to the scenario somewhere, and it couldn’t end if she was just stuck on a train that never stopped.  Or, well, maybe it could, but – the point.  The point was that the scenario had to have some way of ending it.  It couldn’t go on forever, that wasn’t any kind of proper entertainment at all.  That was just throwing an incarnation into an infinite commercial break, wasn’t it?  No dokkaebi would let that kind of scenario pass.
Yeah.  There had to be a way out, right?
[Ahjussi, are you there?] she sent up tentatively.
Still nothing.  There had been nothing for a while.  But she had to keep trying, didn’t she?
Lee Gilyoung had been trying.
But there weren’t any bugs on this train.  Sometimes, he’d get the faintest impression that there was something there, and then – nothing.  If he could get a bug, any bug, he could – he didn’t know.  Scout.  Get some information.  Call a plague against anyone moving against him.  Something.
That was Plan A.  Plan A wasn’t working out, so he was stuck with plan B, which was this: if he kept running through this fucking train, he’d run out of carriages eventually.  He’d run into something eventually.  Maybe the conductor’s carriage, and then he could press some buttons and force it to stop, or maybe drive it into a building or whatever.
Yoo Joonghyuk pressed his hands into his eyes.
He’d really thought that he had died.  Ended regression three, back to the start at regression 4, back in that same train carriage all over again, and this time with a death he hadn’t even seen coming.
He’d died three times now, but the shock of it, even though it wasn’t real – hard to snap out of without a scenario in his ears telling to kill someone to live.
What had happened?
There had been a scenario.
He had been with his companions.  There had been a scenario, and Kim Dokja had vanished.  Then that subscenario had kicked in… what was it?
…
[Sub Scenario  – Will to Survive]
Category: Sub (Personal)
Difficulty: ????
Clear Conditions: Help Incarnation, Kim Dokja, realize the will to survive.
Time Limit: ????
Compensation: ????
Failure: ????
Kim Dokja blinks.
He had the strangest feeling that he had forgotten something.  Something important.
…It can’t have been that important if he’s forgotten about it.  He’d already run through his list of things to do, anyway, not that the list was very long.  He supposed the right thing to do was to talk with somebody, but really, he had no one to talk to, so there wasn’t any point.
There was maybe Mother, but… no, she didn’t count.  He didn’t talk to her, he talked at her, and she never cared enough to give a response back.  If she, by some miracle, cared enough to be upset about what he was doing, then – well.  She could get over it.  There was nothing wrong with him enjoying the sunset.  There was nothing wrong with anything he did after that, either.
With that thought firmly in mind, he took one last breath of the air – cool, refreshing – and headed towards the edge of the roof.

for the fic title ask meme, what about the FKFSJDFKFKF (idk if i got the keyboard smash right? but it starts with F and is all caps). also i hope fire emblem is treating you well (aka helping you recover from orv brain crushing)
Always fascinated when ppl seem to remember what happened on the last episode of Meg??? I think people read my posts or something that's so fucked up.
Anyway, let's see what that fic is, I have no fucking clue. I don't know what any of these fics are at all. There's no coding and I've made no attempt to remember. Things have been so weird lately.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, cool, it was the ACTUAL orv fic that I'm planning on posting once I finish ljaslkdf.
The plot of this one is very easy to describe. It's an AU where KDJ and HSY are childhood friends, who posted notebook sketches of YJH wearing Kingdom Hearts inspired sexy outfits with way too many belts on DeviantArt when they were 15.
It's also an AU where Kim Dokja's other favorite character in Ways of Survival is Han Sooyoung, the hip teenage sidekick and best friend and Mary Sue of Ways of Survival.
See? Simple.

for the orv ask game: 5 and 12!
if you could ask the authors any question, what would you ask them?
"The lines of the face had changed, but it was still Yoo Joonghyuk. No, it was even more than before." <- hey what did you mean by this
are you more of a reader, writer or protagonist?
this one is so hard!! as a kid i wanted to be a writer soooo bad... i wrote a novel in a notebook and told everyone i was gonna be an author when i grew up and was convinced i was gonna be just like the eragon author and publish a book at 15. and i still love creating characters! plot less so...
although i don't write as much anymore, i think i still have to settle on writer? it just feels right. i do love to yap also

Rules: list the first line of your last 10 fics and see if there's a pattern!
I was tagged by @desperatepleasures 💕💕💕
(I'm currently in the process of translating a bunch of my old works to english so I'm going to exclude those and put only the ones I wrote most recently)
1. "Did you ever hear that story that if people make it to their thirties without losing their virginity they gain magical powers?" Han Sooyoung asked that day in the middle of work out of nowhere. (Inside Your Head, Joongdok, ORV ) 2. It looked like it was going to be a party that would go down in the history of the new Golden Kingdom. (The Beginning of Something New, Laishuro, Dungeon Meshi) 3. So now Shauna and Jeff were husband and wife and everyone in the wedding party was pretending like this wasn't super awkward. (If I'm Lucky, Taivan, Yellowjackets) 4. Kabru was waiting outside the throne room and trying to keep his anxiety under control (without much success). (A life in your shape, Labru, Dungeon Meshi) 5. Kabru noticed the presence of the notebook some time ago, it was leatherbound and fit in Laios' hands, who always carried it when they went to meetings with the royal council, and sometimes when these started to get too long, he discreetly opened it and began to move his pencil across the paper. (Doodling, Labru, Dungeon Meshi) 6. Everyone on the newly formed royal council could see that Marcille was distracted at that meeting, her gaze often darting to the window and the garden below. (you can't deny you want the happy ending, Farcille, Dungeon Meshi) 7. Janis arrived about fifteen minutes late for the date. (I hate you for what you did and I miss you like a little kid, Rejanis, Mean Girls) 8. Kabru arrived at the castle shortly after dark. (Dinner Date, Labru, Dungeon Meshi) 9. For months they don't talk. (just a feather's touch in the nighttime but it'll color all my weary days, Shaunajackie, Yellowjackets) 10. Falin always liked to sleep inside dungeons. (I will call you by name, I will share your road, Farcille, Dungeon Meshi)
Apparently my pattern is to start by describing whatever the hell Kabru is doing at any given time (I really didn't notice before I've started three fics that way lol)
I tag to do it if they feel like it @eroshiyda @firstaudrina @aomitois and any other person who sees this and wants to do it :D

[image description: A drawing of teenaged kim dokja, sitting on a pile of books and writing happily in a notebook. He's surrounded by life-sized notebook-paper cut outs of ways of survival characters, with the five outer god kings being drawn with more detail so that they stand out in the crowd. kim dokja himself has paper demon horns and wings, and behind him is his older self in actual demon king form. Each paper cut out has faint text written over it. End ID.]
my piece for the serenity orv zine, which you can get here for free. one of the most complex pieces ive ever drawn
