Have you ever visited an Orphanage?
There are moments in life that touch the deepest corners of our hearts, leaving us profoundly changed. One such moment is visiting Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam, a place not just for orphans but for mentally disabled individuals who have been abandoned by society. Unlike a typical orphanage, this sanctuary in Hyderabad is home to those who need love, care, and understanding the most.
A Sanctuary for the Forgotten
Imagine a place where smiles bloom despite the hardships of life, where every individual, regardless of their mental condition, is treated with dignity and care. Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam is more than just a shelter; it is a home filled with love and compassion. Here, individuals with mental disabilities, who were once left to fend for themselves, receive the support they deserve.
The Heartbreaking Reality
Many of these individuals have been abandoned by their own families, left on the streets, and ignored by a world too busy to care. Some were found in heart-wrenching conditions, struggling to survive without food, shelter, or medical care. Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam, one of the best NGOs in Hyderabad, ensures that they are not forgotten.
In today’s world, where people are constantly searching for meaning and purpose, supporting a trending NGO like Amma Nanna Anada Ashramam is a true act of humanity. Whether you choose to volunteer or donate, your contribution can help provide a better life for those who have been forgotten by society.
How You Can Help
There are many ways to be a part of this noble cause:
Donate Now: Even a small contribution can go a long way in ensuring the well-being of these individuals.
Volunteer: Spend time with the orphans and witness the joy that simple interactions can bring.
Spread Awareness: Talk about this NGO in Hyderabad and encourage others to support their mission.
Visiting an orphanage isn’t just an act of charity; it’s a profound reminder of the power of compassion and human connection. It’s about stepping beyond our daily lives to extend kindness, support, and dignity to those who need it most. Whether through donations, time, or simple gestures of care, your presence can bring hope and relief. In giving, we receive — the warmth of gratitude, the fulfillment of making a difference, and the realization that even the smallest efforts can change lives. Do your part, and be a source of light where it’s needed most.

Changing Lives: Charitable Schools Transforming Hyderabad's Future
In the bustling city of Hyderabad, where progress and development are evident in every corner, there exists a silent yet powerful force shaping the future of the community: charitable schools. These institutions, driven by the noble vision of providing quality education to the underprivileged, are not just imparting knowledge but are also changing lives for the better.
Charitable organization in Hyderabad has always played a crucial role in addressing the socio-economic disparities prevalent in the region. Among these, charitable schools in Hyderabad stand out as beacons of hope, offering education as a means to break the cycle of poverty and ignorance. Supported by charitable trust in Hyderabad and fueled by donations from individuals and organizations alike, these schools cater to those who might otherwise never have the opportunity to receive a formal education.
Education is a fundamental right, yet many underprivileged children in Hyderabad are deprived of this basic necessity. Educating the underprivileged in Hyderabad is not just about teaching academic subjects; it's about empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to build a better future for themselves and their families. Charitable schools recognize this and go beyond the curriculum to provide holistic development opportunities, including extracurricular activities, vocational training, and life skills education.
One of the most remarkable aspects of charitable schools in Hyderabad is their inclusivity. Regardless of background, religion, or socio-economic status, these schools open their doors to all children in need. This inclusivity fosters a sense of unity and equality among students, teaching them the values of acceptance and compassion from a young age.
Moreover, charitable schools often collaborate with local charitable organizations in Hyderabad to address the multifaceted needs of their students. Whether it's providing healthcare services, distributing meals, or offering psychological support, these partnerships ensure that students receive comprehensive support to thrive academically and personally.
While charitable schools primarily focus on education, they also recognize the importance of addressing systemic issues that hinder access to learning. For instance, in a patriarchal society like Hyderabad, girls often face additional barriers to education. To combat this, several charitable schools have established orphanages for girls in Hyderabad, providing a safe and nurturing environment where they can pursue their studies without fear or hindrance.
The impact of charitable schools extends far beyond the individual students they serve. By educating the underprivileged and empowering them to reach their full potential, these institutions contribute to the overall development and prosperity of Hyderabad. They produce graduates who are not only academically proficient but also socially conscious and community-oriented, thus creating a ripple effect of positive change across the city.In conclusion, charitable schools in Hyderabad are not just educational institutions; they are catalysts for transformation, driving social change and shaping the future of the city. Through their tireless efforts and unwavering dedication, they are breaking barriers, bridging divides, and paving the way for a brighter tomorrow. As we continue to support and invest in these noble endeavors, we can be confident that the future of Hyderabad is in good hands – in the hands of those committed to changing lives, one classroom at a time.

A rec for today.
So, now that I am swimming in love for Tollywood, and have seen all of Ram Charan's movies, and most of Tarak's movies, I moved on to other movies by Rajamouli, which led me of course to discover Prabhas who is a nice tall drink of cold water.
I saw him in Baahubali, Salaar and Kalki 2898 and then went back to watch Darling because, well, his nickname is Darling and I had to see why he was named that.
This rec is none of those movies.
Chakram is a movie he made in 2005, co-writen and directed by Krishna Vamsi (Who also wrote and directed Rakhee and Govindudu Andarivadele which... explains a lot). It also stars Asin and Charmy Kaur as Prabhas's love interests because Tollywood runs in the rails of the polyamory train I swear, and of course my adored Prakash Raj as well as a few of the already usual suspects for a Tollywood film.
And it is gorgeous.
Far more linear than what I am used to with Tollywood, Chakram is a full dramedy. It has a lot of comedy (And seriously if your ONLY experience with Prabhas is Salaar? You are NOT READY. Baahubali and Kalki 2898 let him show his comedy chops a bit more when he's being an adorable doofus, but not even close to how he is here), but also a lot of heart and by the time I finished the movie, I was tearing up.
The story is very simple: Chakram (Prabhas), a NRI medicine student who just returned to India, is about to get married to his cousin -yes, this is a common thing in Tollywood films- when he... decides not to. Without telling anyone, he runs away from the wedding and disappears. His dad (Prakash Raj), a wealthy village leader, is not happy about it and sets up a hunt for his son, determined to get him back and married.
Chakram ends up in Hyderabad and, by chance, ends up in a small neighbourhood where everyone has... small problems that have ended up poisoning pretty much everyone's relationships with everyone. Getting a place to stay with a retired actor whose only dream is to build an orphanage, Chakram promises to help him to build said orphanage and also, starts little by little helping everyone in the neighbourhood to make the place a better place.
Until he's found by his father, and then he decides to run away again, not telling anyone, in the middle of the night.
WHY is Chakram running away? Well, you have to watch the movie to know. But that is not really the important part of the movie. What is gorgeous here is the message, as the only thing Charkam wants is to make sure everyone is happy, and everyone smiles.
youtube
The movie is beautiful... just ignore the Song Sony Cellphone.

Sanantani Saints
Part 4
Shri Sadhguru Shridhara Swami
The saint I am about to share details about is very close to my heart. Many people in my district worship him as a great Guru. I chant his name and have visited his samadhi several times. He is my Guru and has guided me during difficult times. My grandfather's family was fortunate enough to receive his blessings. Many members in my family including my father tell the tales of Miracles he performed near our hometown. The most fortunate part is that he resided near my hometown on several occasions and blessed many people. Below are some excerpts from the internet. He is the one I remember on Guru purnima everytime.
Early life:
Shri Shreedhara Swami Maharaj was born in a Brahmin family to Narayan Rao and Kamalabai Deglurkar on 7 December 1908 in Lad Chincholi, Karnataka. He was born on Datta jayanti in the evening when the chariot carrying Guru Datta was passing by the house. He was born as a boon given by Adi guru Dattatreya to his parents, as they prayed to adi guru Dattatreya to be born as their child. He was a devotee of Lord Ram and a disciple of Samarth Ramdas. When Shreedhara Swami was 3 years old he lost his father and thereafter his mother and elder brother Trimbak took care of the family. Young Shreedhara was admitted to a school in Hyderabad for his primary education. Since the very early days he was spiritually inclined. One recorded incident from his early childhood is as follows: He had once fallen very ill and had lost a lot of days at school because of it. Thus he feared that he might fail in the examinations. His mother then told him to constantly chant the name of Lord Ram and that he would see him through the exams. He solemnly started doing that so much so that he finally did not do any studies at all and all the time chanted the name of Ram. On the day of examination he went without reading anything and to the surprise of everybody he answered every question so nicely that he did secure first rank. Shreedhar Swami's elder brother died when he (Shreedhar) was just ten. His mother, unable to cope with the shock and prolonged illness, soon followed him. After her death Shreedhar Swami went to Gulbarga to live with his aunt and continued his education there. After spending a few years in Gulbarga, he headed for Pune where he lived in an orphanage for sometime. Here his urge for spiritual enlightenment grew and on the suggestion of one Mr. Palnitkar, he embarked on a journey to Sajjangad with the intent of seeking spiritual knowledge at the place where Shri Samarth Ramdas had resided nearly three hundred years ago.
Awakening:
Sajjangad was the abode of Swami Samarth Ramdas for the last six years of his life. Legend has it that Samadhi stone surged out of its own at the cremation place of Shri Samartha on the very next day of his nirvana. Shri shridhar swami's yearning for a spiritual awakening at this point can be gauged by the fact that he started to dispose all his money to the poor and the remaining he just threw. He liked a particular sweet dish, so he bought it, kept it in front of Lord Ram's idol and then mixed cow dung in it and ate it. Now he could not even think about the dish he once liked so much. On the day of departure to Sajjangad, Which also coincided with Vijayadashmi, he suddenly felt that he was going there to find out the creator of the universe who had control over the living, nonliving things and also time and space. After one and a half years of having arrived at Sajjangad, Samarth Ramdas himself blessed Shreedhar Swami. Later, he directed him to go south to Karnataka and spread the real message of Sanatan Vedic Dharma.
Religious revival:
For the next thirteen years, Shreedhar Swamiji toured most of south India on foot. He used to halt at temples and Mathas where he would deliver discourses on Sanatan Vedic Dharma for religious upheaval. During his travels he made acquaintances with many other well known Hindu religious leaders and saints. The most significant of these was with Sivananda Swamiji of Shigehalli. He also visited the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and performed meditation there. In 1942, Shreedhar Swami took Sanyas at Shigehalli and was accorded the title, 'Shreemat Paramhans Parivrajakacharya Bhagwan Shreedhar Swami'. After this till 1967, he extensively toured all over India and through his speeches, writings and spiritual initiatives, spread the core messages of the Vedas among common people. He, returned south to Varadapura in 1967 where he set up an ashram. He practised, held Hindu exorcism in various holy places, temples including Kolgibis (Kumta road), to drive ghosts, spirits out of any hosts body they have taken over, using his mantradanada staff. Shreedhar Swamiji was a gifted composer and fluent in Marathi, Sanskrit, Kannada, Hindi and English. All through his extensive travelling, he managed to spare some time for religious writing. His aim was to simplify the complex nuances of vedic teaching into a form that would be easily digestible to the common man.
Final days:
On the first day of the second half of the first month of the Hindu calendar, Swamiji's health deteriorated. The disciples again pleaded for bringing a doctor, but Swamiji again refused and told them that Samarth Ramdas had told that the bodily pains should be considered as pleasures. He enquired what day was the next one and when told about that he knew that it was a day for very auspicious things, but didn't tell it to anyone. Then as usual he took bath thrice, had a little milk and rested for a while in the night and spent the rest of the time in sahaj Samadhi avastha. Swamiji got up the next morning at 5 am. After the morning chores he sat in meditation for a while. He came out of the meditation room at 8 am. The disciples requested him to have some milk, to which he agreed and again sat in meditation. Swamiji in sitting position and in meditation twice said 'Om, Om' and then from the upper side of his body through the head he made his soul leave his body to be eternally unified with the Parbramha. Despite this his posture didn't change nor did his facial expressions. In fact the aura around his face became brighter for a while. This was at 9 am on 19 April 1973. After a while Swamiji had attained the Ultimate Samadhi.
Below are some his recorded pravachans:

Why Are NGOs Necessary in Society?
Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) play a pivotal role in addressing societal issues that often go unnoticed or underserved by government bodies. They bridge the gap between societal needs and resources, focusing on causes like education, healthcare, environment, and the well-being of vulnerable communities. Among these, organizations that care for mentally disabled orphans hold a unique and critical position in society. One shining example of such an institution is Amma Nanna NGO, widely recognized as one of the best NGOs in Hyderabad.
The Need for NGOs in Society
In a fast-paced world, marginalized groups, such as mentally disabled orphans, are often overlooked. NGOs are necessary to provide care, dignity, and a sense of belonging to such individuals. Government resources alone may not suffice to address the nuanced needs of this demographic. This is where NGOs step in with targeted initiatives, ensuring no one is left behind.
Organizations like Amma Nanna NGO, an orphanage in Hyderabad, are essential in providing not just shelter but holistic care. Their efforts demonstrate how society can collectively work towards inclusivity and compassion.

DAY 4821
Jalsa, Mumbai May 10, 2021 Mon 11:00 PM
Birthday - Ef Jasmine Jani .. Tuesday , May 11, 2021 .. my greetings to you and the wish for happiness always .. be safe and protected in these difficult times .. love from all the Ef .. ❤️❤️❤️
Ashok Deobhakta .. Ef is ill down with CoviD and hospitalised .. our prayers for an early recovery .. from the Ef
We rally round and work and fight .. and the prayers fall on all the right ears .. and in time with patience the darkness shall give way to the light of the rise of the sun ..
All the efforts being made by every individual , irrespective of the quantity, is sufficient to drive away the discomfort that we all face each hour ..
.. “ a gentle wave of the hand can shake the World “
.. may we all come forward in a display of solidarity and togetherness, to hold each others hand in this trial and win ..
So yesterday the 400 bed care centre at RakabGanj Gurudwara, in Delhi was inaugurated and the relief it shall be able to provide in the hour of need shall be difficult to enumerate. My contribution in that making , gives a sense of a deed that needed to be done, and soon it shall function under the care and guidance of a team of selected medical infrastructure, to bring relief to the extraneous conditions that we are struggling with ..
Also I am happy to state that the 20 ventilators that I had ordered from overseas have started to arrive. The first lot of 10 has landed in Mumbai and are at Customs awaiting clearance. The procurer Agency will deliver them by Wednesday and at least 4 Municipal Hospitals that I had earmarked and the BrihanMumbai Municipal Committee the BMC, shall be given at least 4 of the 6 they desired .. the balance 10 are arriving by the 25th and they too shall be distributed to the other Hospital locations and care centres that I have identified .
The Oxygen Concentrators, another dire need, has also been put on a very fast track through suppliers from the overseas company’s , who have graciously under great pressure of depleting stocks managed to keep some for me ..
50 of them shall be airlifted on the 15th for Delhi, and are coming from a recognised Company in Poland, and another 150 from different manufacturing agents shall be coming in by the 23rd .. I hope that at least those locations where I have been able to construct care centres shall be able to utilise them ..
The care centre in Juhu that I am contributing to work on, is almost ready and shall be in a position by the 12th to provide medical care for about 50 beds - requirements such as Oxygen, Doctors and nurses are all in place ..
meanwhile the food for the poor has ben initiated and 1000 packets of dry food shall be going out to the poor ..
The orphanage that is going to look after the 2 children that I have commissioned to be taken care of is on. The local Govt., has a formal procedure for the adoption process and they have identified the 2 children who have lost their parents to the virus. They will be giving us the names by tomorrow for the Hyderabad orphanage and shall be given free education from the 1st to the 10th class, along with free boarding and lodging. If either of them turn out to excel they shall be considered for higher studies under the same conditions .
I am also very pleased that the Diagnostic Centre that contributed in the making of the Hospital Care Centre at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi is operational and works at the very minimum costs and for some , free. The MRI machine along with other ancillary machines are all set which help in the diagnosis of patients suffering ; particularly to detect the virus in the lungs ..
Also 3 other detection machine - sonography and on - have been donated by me to the Nanavati Hospital and they are a boon in these times ..
Of course the PPE units and other protective gears are also being supplied to the front line workers to the extent of whatever is within my means .. and if I am able to muster more earnings I shall certainly aim to give more ..
WE FIGHT .. we fight to WIN !!!

‘रुके न तू’ , कविता के लेखक : प्रसून जोशी
the collective might of coming together for this great cause where I participated and contributed to BREATHE , the title of the event was I am told by the organisers, seen by almost 400 million .. and at the end of the day within hours a sum of almost 25 crore rupees was collected for the cause ..
the strength and standing of ONE individual can shake mountains .. when we all collect together in this humble platform of our Blog we become a movement that I am so proud of ..
In this battle against this virus , many have contributed and continue to be resolved in more .. the mention in the information circles resounds with the 2 cr that I donated for the care Centre in Delhi for the moment .. but as days go by the figure of my personal contribution and donation shall be about 15 crore rupees ..
Of course such figures are beyond my means , but I work and labour and resolve to dig into my earnings for those that need it most and with the kindness of the Almighty have been able to give this amount ..
.. in time , if I am able to harness some more of my personal funds I shall not hesitate to contribute more ..
... AND there are those colleagues and friends that have run into difficult times financially .. they too have been given funds to tide over some of the trouble they find themselves in ..
This is not trumpeting my ‘wares’ ..
.. if at all it can be a motivation for many others to come forward and donate , the amount of misery that one hears and sees could be greatly reduced ..
.. they say give and ye shall receive ..
I shall give to give ; not with the intent of a receive .. when the intent to receive is the think behind the give .. you are not in the purity of heart and mind ..
Babuji , always said “ give and forget .. do not give and wait for receive .. know that it shall never come back .. if it does , good ; if it does not , even better .. because then it was not meant for you in the first place .. “
man ka ho to achcha .. na ho to zyaada achcha !

DETECTIVE RAMANA
With a child like smile etched on his face and soggy eyes, Ramana stretches his body, wakes up, thinking what is in it stored for him today. Ramana worked as a Bank Manager in IBR for 40 good years. His career graph shot up as years passed by and so did his age. He was apple of everyone’s eye in his office and was popular among his batch mates for his sense of humor. Despite working hard all his life for his family, he always wanted to do something purposeful and adventurous with his life. He retired last year and thus had ample time to do whatever he always longed for. He visited old age homes, orphanages, pilgrimage with his wife but he still felt a void in his life.
Coming back to the present, he wakes up and starts his day with his favorite hobby. He excitedly turns on the television and starts watching news . The news reports about the robbery that happened last night in a merchant’s mansion at KBR hills, Hyderabad. “I wonder who must have done that. Could it be the same robbery gang who attacked Mr.Lal in West Bengal ? was the robbery done by a gang or was it a one man army? Did the police start the investigation yet? I am sure they must have missed some hidden clues. Had I been at the site, I could have gathered more clues than them.” “How many times did I tell you to have your cup of tea before it gets cold!!!!” a screeching voice interrupts his serious thinking. Purni, is Ramana’s devoted wife who loves to water her plants, nurture her garden with great care, but then, family has always been her second priority. “I was thinking about the robbery that happened yesterday night. What is your opinion on it? Please voice your thoughts.” With a serious look on her face and hands on her hip,”I am not Arka Dutt to voice my opinions and you are no Harnad Goswami to let the “nation know” ? I have important things to do. I have to plant the marigold sapling I bought yesterday, take care of the rose plant. Looks like the leaves are infected. I need Ramu to get manure from the market and all you care for is some robbery that took place in some part of our city. Please stop giving too much of thought and focus on the work in your hands now!!” she rants about even more important chores in her to-do list. “I am already doing it ,see!“ he says sipping his cup of tea, with an impish smile over his face. In this monotonous life of Ramana, he never anticipates a U turn.
PS: Hello readers. This is my first post in Tumblr. Detective Ramana has a humorous story line. I have planned to write the story in chapters and the first one ends here. Please voice your thoughts on it. The next one would be coming up next Saturday.
