Hello! Dont know your taking requests 'n stuff right now, but can you do headcanons for orochimaru metting his childhood friend again and how he would react?

Meeting childhood friend

🐍Orochimaru was always really twisted, even when he was younger. But at that time it wasn’t that bad. I think his childhood friend would have to be someone who was really strong or possessed some kind of kekkai genkai in order to impress him. Because this man is hungry for power. Probably even someone who was interested in Kinjutsu because then the both of them would have something to talk about.

🐍After Orochimaru left Konohagakure he only cared about himself. Every other person was for him nothing more than a pawn. Only those who were really strong or very important for his work were in some twisted sense special for him. He was ready to kill Jiraiya and Tsunade, his old teammates. I think in order to gain his attention once again he would have to see a good demonstration of his old friend’s abilities. Only then he’ll consider them as ‘ possibly useful’.

🐍As mentioned above, Orochiaru is a man hungry for power. So he would probably feel very keen on you once again. You were a long time ago once someone he was interested in due to being strong and taking interest in the same things he did and if you still are he would be very excited.

🐍He would let Kabuto watch over you from there on and occasionally himself. He needs after all proof that you will be indeed useful to him. He would probably feel amused when seeing how you live your life so carefree and innocently without even knowing who is watching you.

🐍At some point he’ll decide that he wants you. He would at first try to lure you to him, telling you that he can help you getting stronger and that you’ll be rewarded.

🐍Now it depends on you. You’ll most likely say ‘no’ to him. That’s when things get unpleasant. Because if Orochimaru wants something he takes it. And he would have his sick pleasure with this. He would most likely force you into a fight to test your strength himself and would have fun with it. He wouldn’t even use his full power at first, only using half his strength to toy with you. The longer the match goes on and the longer you’re able to hold up against him the more thrilled he’ll be. If he wins this match then he’ll make sure to drag you right to his next hideout whilst telling you in his fake hurt tone that he really wanted you to agree. Because now he’s forced to make sure to keep you in line. Meaning you’ll become a guinea pig for him. If you would have just agreed then it wouldn’t have to come to this. It’ll be nothing, but tormenting, painful and atrocious. You’ll always be on the brink of death only to be somehow saved in the last minute by Orochimaru. He can’t lose his favorite toy now, can he?

🐍Agreeing would be the more pleasant event. By a very long shot. In this case Orochimaru would probably still demand a fight to find out how strong you really are. Same story as if you wouldn’t agree, the more you make it hard for him, the more excited he’ll get. But now you aren’t a guinea pig for him. Due to you agreeing you’ve upgraded yourself to his ‘pawn’, meaning you’ll obey him and fight and do whatever he demands from you. Will probably give you the curse mark in order to give you power. Might even introduce you to Sasuke and let him train with you in order to make both of you stronger. Next to Kabuto and Sasuke you would be the only person who he constantly keeps with him. You’re a priced possession after all.

And it’s not like it couldn’t have been done?

You can so easily make Uchiha truly predisposed for going crazy. Have Sharingan damage their eyes and then brain or something. Have Tsunade/Sakura/Orochiaru even discover it, or Madara/Obito since they dabble so much transplants. Have Obito comment when he gives Sasuke Itachi’s eyes. ANYTHING to make this shit more than ‘rumor Tobirama spread cause he was a dick’.

I know the counter to pointing out how the Uchiha are mistreated is that they aren't real and the Uchiha REALLY WERE predisposed to just being ~bad~ because of their Curse of Hatred, but you can't just mimic oppression and the way people talk about oppressed people as an excuse to perpetuate that oppression VERY ACCURATELY and expect anyone who has experienced that irl and thinks about their media to ignore that.
