What if all of these Tumblr darling shows were about women with sapphic romance or sexual tension. Cis women, trans women, women of various ages and races and classes and abilities

What if genre media about queer women got the same love from its showrunners and from fans alike that genre shows about M/M couples get now. What if that trend hadn’t briefly flared into glorious light in the 2010s and then died again

I WISH I POSTED THIS HERE BACK IN OCTOBER I been posting more on Twitter so I forgot 😭

But back in September my sister took me on a trip to Salem! It was REALLY COOL AND FUN I LOVED IT and I felt inspired to make a kitty oc :3So here is Salem~ he’s a very expressive smiley kitty who may be a bit mischievous

been wanting to redesign this guy for awhile now. since the new episode just cane out i might as well :]

design/character notes under cut

mickey mouse physics eyes. meaning they are at a certain angle no matter his position in a 3d space

mouth also looks entirely 2d and will look that way no matter the angle. when closed it looks painted on

when mad, his wheels spin extremely fast backwards making a jarring running-plastic sound.

his limbs are theoretically made of wood but he can move them slightly and disobey the laws of physics (to sit down, pose up, etc.)

he cannot talk. only dog. only bark. caine let him talk once but he found a way past the swear filter and kept saying them so caine took it away.

It’s very fun to practice different body types, and Salem has such a cute dress sense that is fun to play around with. Plus a crossover with my oc, Fodder. Can you tell it’s been a while since I’ve drawn him Fodder may be a bit jealous that Salem is much cuter than it is lol.

In all seriousness, I really respect and admire @wolfertinger666’s work. His art is unique and super cute! I hope he keeps at it
