Ok so i think another fun thing with Shadow is in Japanese the pronoun he uses is boku.

From my understanding, boku is the ‘softer’ masculine pronoun. It’s the alternative to ore, which is macho and aggressive. By comparison, boku is modest and unassertive.

Traditionally, it was first used by servants, than academics. So it has a connotation of humility and considering oneself in service to others, or of being polite and sophisticated.

From what I can tell, in Japanese your first person pronoun often indicates how you view yourself. So regardless of how he acts, it seems on some level Shadow views himself as a reserved, soft, or polite person

Which I think actually tracks with the more gentle or soft spoken way he appears in the brief flashbacks we get of him in SA2

Personality Comparison For No Reason

My personality typing, as stated in my profile description, is ISTJ 5w4. It may actually be INTP 5w4, though I'm not truly sure between the two. Occupation = U.A. Student

Hero Name = Canvas Hero: Dandelion (formerly a neutral/arc main antagonist a la Pax Forsythe, currently part of Class 1-A or Class 1-B) | Alternatively known as Palette Sage, Faust Tezuka and Parity Palette. Formerly known as Absolute Zero by people who saw them as a villain before.

Appearance = See the bottom of the post, can turn hands into ice claws, can also enter/exit canvas at will and be a literal piece of art, also a biological hermaphrodite

Quirk = Palette [Pretty much a sentient painting, can take that form wherever a canvas exists, easel or elsewhere. Palette form differs depending on position Furu is standing/sitting/laying in and position canvas is entered from. Sentient and can move (within canvas limits) when being an art piece. Can be edited - clothing and hero costume included - or given something by someone else painting it on/with them when in palette form. Can telepathically control anything via electromagnetic field creation within short distance in palette form.]

Extra = Capable of combining quirk and learned skill to perform Touhou-style danmaku based on formulae & equations. Often one of their favourite ways to battle is with tank-esque artillery, however this requires time and someone to paint this sort of thing with them in palette form.***

Costume = Imagine the spirit/avatar of Greatest Raphael/Glory Regnar as clothing/armour minus the head, tail and shimenawa parts (Colour scheme switched to white, lavender purple, dark purple, black, teal, ice-blue & ice-white.)] Alternate outfits exist too, like a lavender/ice-white shrine maiden-inspired costume with lavender mob cap or intricately detailed lavender/ice-white hair bow as standard, and a hero costume inspired by what yuki-onna are often depicted wearing in paintings/other art styles, because I'm indecisive. Outfits made from special material, protective but soft and flexible, inspired by graphene.

Has Gohei/paintbrush hybrid thing that can utilise the various types of paint - acrylic, watercolour, gouache, etc. - as weapons via their main quirk on one end, and talismans on the other end on account of being part Gohei. Talismans used to open gaps and are not quirk-related in any way. Close in size to Reimu's gohei (read: Hakurei), which is quite a bit longer than most weapons. Also has chainsaw, sledgehammer and palette knife. Oh, and the six onbashira of Furutani Shrine (their home) at their command.

Does best in cold environments. This extends to when they're in painting form. Enters canvas by becoming sentient art out of nowhere, exits canvas by literally forcing their way out of it physically like some kind of youkai. If sleeping in palette form, a cover is placed over their canvas. Naturally, due to pretty much being a sentient painting that can enter/exit canvas when preferred, they can't handle light very well and is weak to anything that can drain their colour. The more greyscale they become, the weaker they are. Going completely greyscale renders them frozen in place, akin to an ice statue.

Furu is generally a Balance-type in battle, variety being their main thing. Having a quirk as versatile as Palette hardly means they're unbeatable. Though it means more ways to win compared to other quirk users, it also means more ways to lose. It balances itself out. Parity, so to speak.

Weaknesses include reaction time, heat, anything that works against the specific paint variant they're using or against paint in general, risk of seizure, random unannounced sleep attacks, being unable to move from canvas/easel position when being a sentient painting, sudden loud sounds or excessively loud sounds/music they haven't made happen themselves, mind blanks, their colour being taken and lack of pre-planned strategy (good thing improvisation is one of their things).

**Appearance (Extra): Light grey skin (greyscale everything) when not painted, black hair. Will sometimes wear a Yorkshire-style hat or the sort artist's might wear. When hair is short they kind of resemble a mix of Rin Tezuka (Katawa Shoujo), Adeleine (Kirby) and Reimu Hakurei (Touhou Project). When hair is long they more resemble a combination of Faust (Beyblade: Metal Saga) and Hanako Ikezawa (Katawa Shoujo). Thin-ish rectangular glasses with curved corners. Pupils often turn same colour as irises - light gold - when quirk is in use.

***The artillery looks just like the sort that Admiral Graf Spee has. AGS used as basis due to personality and colour scheme reasons. The red is exchanged for lavender and the black primarily for ice-white.

Percy-> Dadish. Loves the dialogue. Gets Annabeth to do several levels for him, and if she can’t do it, they ask Nico. Does dances to the soundtrack when he thinks he’s alone. Beat Hot Dog in one try and won’t shut up about it.

Annabeth-> Sims 4. Spends hours just making the characters and whole days making the houses. Makes Pinterest boards for her landscaping + decorating. When she’s frustrated with somebody, she makes them as a sim, puts them in the pool, and removes the ladder. Prints out screenshots of their death and tapes it to the person in question’s door.

Jason-> Spiritfarer. Guy loves his feels. When he first finished Alice’s quest line, he walked around the whole day like a kicked puppy and everybody was like “what’s wrong?” And he just goes “my hedgehog died” and breaks down in the middle of the dining hall. He finishes Elena’s quest the fastest and it gives him deja vu.

Piper-> Chants of Sennaar. Likes the connection of cultures aspect of the game. Makes it through the Abbey, Fortress, and Garden easy peasy, but when she gets into the Galleries, she gets really fucking scared of the monster (just like me for real). She gets Annabeth to do that part for her and Leo laughs at her and offers to do it but gets killed immediately. She laughs at him. She keeps Annabeth and Leo around for moral support.

Leo-> Slime Rancher. Does a stupid southern accent every time he plays it around other people. Goes “yeehaw” every ten seconds. Ends everyday by partying with his fire slimes because he reprogrammed them so they wouldn’t hurt him. Has no clue what the story is about because he doesn’t read a single letter and just goes with the flow.

Hazel-> Papa’s Freezeria. Makes it a point to memorize the basics of every customer’s order. Vocalizes her frustrations out loud when she gets a grade less than 100% on building. “What do you mean, Bruna Romano? Did I not put enough godforsaken bananas on your freaking sundae?” Hates the Rico’s Chiliworks minigame. Loves the Breakfast Blast minigame.

Frank-> Stardew Valley. Avoids the mines because they kind of scare him. Asks Hazel to do it for him but she’s scared of them too, so they ask Leo. They have five chests full of ore and are forty levels down after thirty minutes. Frank tries to be friends with everyone EXCEPT Pierre because Piper told him he was an asshole. Marries Maru every time.

Is Shadow not so much the self-esteemed and smug type in Japanese dub? I don't neccisarily mean to stereotype people on their chosen pronoun but doesn't boku as your chosen pronoun usually indicate more humility? I always kind of took Shadow to be the more smug and arrogant type that I'd associate with the ore pronoun.

Maekawa explains in a SONIC CHANNEL interview why Shadow uses that pronoun; One late night, when I was thinking about the lines of the confrontation scene of Sonic vs Shadow inside my car returning home from work, after Sonic said, “I found you, faker!”, when Shadow responded for the first time, “Faker? I think you’re the fake hedgehog around here,” I felt, It has come!, for the first time. From the tone of the voice that had come to echo in my mind at that time, I feel that Shadow’s personal pronoun had been decided to be “boku” naturally. This personal pronoun “boku” of Shadow is very popular to women, but I remember that there were many disagreeing opinions inside my team in the beginning. However, because I myself treated Shadow as an image that is a very subtle and pure character, this “boku” was a part that I could not throw away.

Silver is informal overall in contrast to his polite mannered inspiration Future Trunks. Silver’s rudeness is opposed to Eggman Nega’s over politeness

Focused. Goal Focused. (even during things like competitions. He says the Jade Ghost Wisp is the only item he likes because it let’s him disappear and focus on racing in the Team Vector interview) Straight-To-The-Point Mindset (seen throughout Sonic Forces)

Not trusting. (Hounded Dodon Pa throughout TSR, was questioning Mephiles’ mission even as he and Blaze reaffirmed killing Sonic being the only option, took time to work with others in the Rivals series)

i think tails would run the most unconventional minecraft yt channel known to man. he could create working computers and other gratuitous concepts with redstone but chooses to focus on creating various survival-focused farm etc designs instead. he makes occasional geology videos about minecraft ores where he consults knuckles for more information and to correct things he gets wrong. he has an irregular lets play with sage and sonic he records during their friday game nights that has never broken 1k views but has a couple enthusiastic fans who think sonic's indifferent play style and tendency to afk is based and funny (they additionally think "sonic" is his nickname and that he isn't actually sonic The hedgehog). tails also codes mods sometimes and the videos showing them tend to be among his more popular ones because while he has the skills needed to create wonderful overhaul mods that transform the gameplay in new and exciting ways he chooses to only do stupid things, but in elaborate ways. his latest project involved giving every passive mob the ability to destroy blocks enderdragon style, including villagers whose villages had to be redone with this in mind (oops all endstone). he never gives out download links to these btw

Elain loves to garden, so here's a moodboard of her garden at the River House! Read below the cut for an Elucien one-shot 🦔

Gardening required precision: the right soil composition, watering frequency, timing of planting, and placement. But it also required leniency, for the pollinators, animals, and weather systems that played a role were out of Elain’s control. 

Which was why Elain strung up bird baths and propped up old pots for toads. She left the spiders and praying mantises alone, even though they scared her. She suppressed the urge to tidy everything into neat arrangements, knowing that a little messiness was beneficial for the ecosystem.

Gardening had its fair share of physical work, too. Elain was not a warrior like Feyre or Nesta, but she still flexed her muscles by lugging the watering can around, yanking out weeds, digging up roots, and vanquishing the pests and plant illnesses. 

Gardening was the satisfaction of watching the spring buds flower, of biting into the first summer harvest. But out of everything, experiencing warm sunshine on her skin was Elain’s favorite part of gardening. 

It was shaping up to be a perfect day, she thought. Already Elain had changed the bird bath, refilled the bird feeder, turned the compost pile, pruned the bushes, and inspected the budding fruit trees. She was in the middle of harvesting a bundle of herbs for dinner when she heard distressed squeaking coming from around the bend. 

“Oh no!” Elain cried when she spotted the source of the squeaks. A large hawk had a small creature clasped in its talons, and was taking flight. “Stop! Stop this right now!” 

The animal squirmed its way out of the hawk’s grip and fell several feet to the ground, to Elain’s horror. She rushed over immediately, finding a small hedgehog dragging its hind foot as it struggled towards a brambly hedge. 

“You poor thing!” Elain exclaimed. The hedgehog curled into a ball of brown and black spikes when she approached. Elain knelt down in the grass, cooing softly. “It’s alright little one. You’re safe with me.” 

The hedgehog did not seem to think so. It let out another cry of terror when Elain gingerly touched it. She winced at the spines pricking her calloused palms. A quick glance revealed the hawk waiting patiently in the tree for its afternoon snack, its beady yellow eyes glaring at Elain. 

“Go away!” she shouted up at it. “Don’t you dare come any closer!” She turned her attention back to the hedgehog, who was trembling in fear thanks to her raised voice. 

“I didn’t mean you, little one,” Elain whispered softly, hunching over the hedgehog. “Please don’t be afraid. I only want to help you.” Bracing herself against the temporary pain, Elain gently scooped the curled hedgehog up and placed it into her straw hat. 

Gravel crunched urgently behind her.  

“My lady?” The emissary of the Night Court stood just a few yards away from her, looking like he’d been running. Lucien Vanserra. Her mate. 

Elain stiffened. “What are you doing here?” The words came out sharper than she’d intended, and she regretted using them as her first line of greeting. 

Lucien’s flaming red hair glinted in the sun like molten ore, his russet eye studying her carefully. The scar cutting down his face only drew attention to his angular features. It had been several weeks since Elain saw him last, and every time he reappeared in her life, his handsome face seemed to grow begrudgingly more attractive. “I came to hand deliver an invitation for Queen Vassa’s coronation,” he replied. “To Feyre and Rhysand, but it seems they’re nowhere to be found.” 

“They’re at the Hewn City.” Elain’s words were a frank dismissal to her ears. She winced.

Lucien’s mouth tightened. “Well, I heard you shouting at something so forgive me for making sure you were alright.” 

I don’t need your protection, Elain wanted to say, but she kept her mouth shut. Her good manners always eluded her whenever she saw Lucien Vanserra. 

“I’m fine. It’s just a hedgehog with an injured foot. I’ll have to send for Madja tomorrow morning.” 

“Broken limbs should be set and healed as soon as possible. Waiting until morning may be too late.” Lucien frowned slightly. “I can try to help.” 

“You’re not an animal healer,” she objected. 

“No, but I did fix your sister’s broken nose under the mountain.” Lucien’s good eye flickered with the faint memory of the traumatic hellhole. 

I don’t need your help, Elain wanted to say, but the hedgehog’s shrill vocalizations begged to differ. “Alright,” she admitted. “We can go to the greenhouse.” 

The creature was shaking like a leaf when Elain set the hat down on the surface of the greenhouse work table. The surface was littered with gardening notes and bottled tonics. A cupboard, filled with seeds and dried flowers stood opposite a shelf of gardening tools. And every other available space was filled with plants. 

The greenhouse was sizable, but the space felt small and hot the moment Lucien stepped over the threshold. He stood silently in the doorway, golden eye clicking and whirring at the haphazard interior. 

She had gauze and healing salves…but perhaps ointments that worked on the Fae would be toxic for animals. The enchanted gloves Lucien gifted her were carefully tucked in a box. Elain had barely used them, only taking them out occasionally to admire its make. But perhaps it was time to put away that stubborn pride…Elain glanced over her shoulder furtively at her mate.

“Hello, aren’t you a cute little thing?” Lucien greeted the hedgehog as he bent down until he was eye level with the table. “My name is Lucien, Night Court’s emissary.” 

He extended a tanned brown hand towards the creature. The hedgehog peeked out at the emissary, unfurling itself to sniff his fingers with its pointed nose. “That’s right, there’s nothing to be afraid of.” 

“What do we do?” Elain approached the table anxiously. 

Surprise flitted across Lucien’s face at the sight of her gloved hands. “If you could sit and hold the hedgehog so I can see the leg…”

“It’s me, Elain,” she cooed to it, extending her hand just as Lucien did. “I’m going to have to pick you up now.” The hedgehog shrank away, and Elain’s shoulders slumped in disappointment.

“You can do it,” Lucien said encouragingly. “I’m talking to the hedgehog, but I suppose it applies to you as well.” 

“Why does it like you more than me?” Elain demanded indignantly.

Lucien’s grin was positively smug. “Hedgehogs were quite prevalent in the Autumn Court. They thought quite highly of me.”

Elain rolled her eyes at him. “Come on now. Up onto my hand we go. You’ve seen me around the garden, haven’t you? I’m not a stranger.” The hedgehog reluctantly limped onto her outstretched hand. “Good job, little one!” 

Elain’s heart pounded anxiously as she settled on the chair, for the creature seemed so frail and small. The hedgehog scrunched up its small face, crying out as she shifted it onto its back. Elain gasped when she noticed several red lacerations on its furred underbelly. “Cauldron, it’s worse than I thought,” she fretted. “And I think it’s a female.” 

“Hmmm, you’re right.” Lucien murmured as the hedgehog made more high-pitched whimpering sounds. “Shhh, it’s alright, sweetheart. Let me take a look.” Heat shimmered in the air between them as Lucien knelt in between her legs and leaned closer.

“If you want to give him a bite, you have my permission,” Elain added. As cute as it was, hedgehogs were still wild animals. And she didn’t know if they were aggressive when threatened. 

“I don’t have a problem with biting.” Elain’s blood ran hot when Lucien looked up at her with a humorous glint in both eyes. She quickly looked away. How can I be thinking improper thoughts about him when this poor hedgehog is practically dying in my lap?

Golden light shimmered as the cuts on the hedgehog’s soft belly melded together and disappeared. Elain sucked a breath in, fascinated. But the happy moment was short-lived. 

Lucien’s fingers gently probed the crooked foot, eliciting a plaintive screech from the hedgehog. “I’m sorry, sweetheart.” Regret laced in his russet eye. 

Elain felt like crying herself at the hedgehog’s distress. “Oh, Lucien. Please hurry! It seems to be in so much pain!” 

His face was grim. “I need to make sure it’s set in the proper position before I heal it. But it’s going to hurt her,” he explained. 

Elain hoisted the hedgehog up so that it leaned against her chest, praying her heartbeat would calm it down. “He’s trying to help you,” she whispered to it. “Please hold on just a little longer. Everything will be alright.” 

“It’s going to be alright, munchkin,” Lucien’s low voice soothed. He tilted his head left and right, as if assessing the proper positioning for a hedgehog foot. “You’ve been such a brave girl. Are you going to be the bravest little hedgehog in Velaris?” 

Golden webbing—a spell—was woven along the hedgehog’s ankle, bracing it in the proper position. The hedgehog screeched. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Lucien murmured. 

“Oh, when this is over, I’ll build you a little hedgehog house,” Elain added, trying to keep the hedgehog’s attention on her face. “I’ll make sure you have plenty of treats. We can invite some hedgehog friends over, alright? Don’t think about your foot, darling.” 

A flash of light burst from Lucien’s hand and a final terrified squeak pierced the air. The hedgehog writhed in agony briefly, shivering and whimpering. “Oh gods, oh gods,” Elain gasped. “Is it alright? What happened?” 

“I think so. Put it on the table and see,” Lucien said gently. The hedgehog was indeed back to normal, ambling around on all four legs and making snuffling sounds. 

“It worked. It really worked!” Elain smiled broadly, her heart swelling with relief and joy. “Thank you for helping, Lucien.” Before she could stop herself, she wrapped her arms around his neck in a hug. Realizing what she’d done, Elain disentangled herself from him sheepishly. 

Lucien shrugged as he stood up. “Couldn’t have done it without you.” He paused. “Did you really mean it? Everything you said to the hedgehog? About building a whole house and bringing more of its kind over?” 

“Yes?” Her mate appraised her with a small smile on his lips that stripped Elain bare. Did he think she was being childish? “And what about it?” Elain demanded hotly. 

“It’s refreshing.” Lucien glanced over his shoulder on the way out of the greenhouse. “The way you care for a small hedgehog, when you treated it gently…it gives me hope for this world.” 

You too, Elain wanted to say. But her mate had already winnowed away without saying goodbye. Meanwhile, the hedgehog was sniffling at a gold-embossed envelope on the worktable. The invitation to Queen Vassa’s coronation had indeed been delivered.

Other Countries in the AUs: Part Two, Plus OCs

Chambelli Koh (Flower Hill, Urdu)

(Hyena AU, mostly)

Background:

A nation in Africa, with a large population of Urdu speakers, explores the world, and forms an alliance with Chaand Hadia, as they are also Urdu speakers with some of the same values. To the left of Chaand Hadia, a colony of African Spotted Hyenas is formed to allow for easier trading.

But the country the hyenas came from is now defunct (joined up with another country peacefully), as suggested by the flag above, granting independence to the colony, which expanded into its own country as more hyenas join.

The Weasels took over the coastlines of Chambelli Koh with the help of the Wolf Unit, establishing a few bases there, but found a lack of workers they could intimidate into working the fish farms. The Wolf Unit then took over several villages, forcing the larger hyenas and other residents into working as troops for the unit, assuming that they are as blood thirsty as them, with the promise that they will not go after 'weak prey' like Flower Hill. The central government is playing the long game in allowing this to happen. After all, it is only a few villages on the coast, and discretely sabotaging the weasels and wolves will result in victory in the long run. Besides, the hyena soldiers will revolt, eventually, and no one will be able to stop them.

I have the idea that Nurse Eomin from her AU will have been conscripted from the coastline when she was visiting family. The Weasel Unit has no idea she is actually a resident of Flower Hill, just as they have no idea that the hyenas have an incredibly strong bond with the hedgehogs to the point of a few romances.

Location and Geography: Shares a border with Chaand Hadia. Mostly fertile farmland surrounded by mountains, but has a rich coastline of fish.

Government: Stratocracy, although local villages may have their own rules. Central government usually, but coastlines are controlled by the weasels

Economy: Mostly just an agricultural and mining society. They trade minerals and weapons to Flower Hill in exchange for silk, and to Chaand Hadia in exchange for paints and dyes.

Demographics: Much of the country is striped and spotted hyenas. Other species include Swinhoe's striped squirrel, three striped ground squirrels, red squirrels, deer, ermines, pigs, sheep, goats, and monkeys.

Culture: Peaceful, but pragmatic and can switch to warlike. Dark humor with loud laughter is a staple of the populace, but the art scene is booming.

Foreign Relations: Mostly Isolated for now, as most creatures are scared of them, and they are a relatively new nation. They are also far louder and m ore brash than everyone else.

Relation to Flower Hill: Flower Hill was concerned by these massive newcomers, so they invited the hyenas to engage in diplomatic discussions. It was discovered that both countries are called 'Flower Hill,' in their own languages, completely by accident, breaking the tension. The hyenas were impressed and thrilled that the hedgehogs were not at all terrified of them and happily formed peace treaties

Traditional Clothing Style (When not in Military attire): Hanbok, shirts, blouses, large robes, and pants, elaborate beaded necklaces.

Hyena OCs

It's not going to be a serious or long AU, once I get to it. I might combine it with the Nope AU and create a series of stories involving Chambelli Koh and Flower Hill. Otherwise they will be mentioned as existing in the AU, maybe in passing, but they won't be big players in The Rod That Blocks the Lightning, if at all.

Really, the name for this one will probably be One Mind All the Time. The hyenas are super intimidating and powerful, but if they are not in a fight, then they are big friendly goofballs who share one brain cell. But still smart, in the way they can plan for a battle, as well as subtly indicate to Flower Hill that they are being coerced.

Honestly, I could set the location of the prison for the Kidnapped Scientist AU somewhere around in this country, perhaps. Or at least near one of their borders.

Jindo Dog Island

This isn't made up, I just straight up took an actual island around Korea. It was supposed to be a one off gag for an inconsequential chapter, but afterwards I had ideas!

Location and Geography: Down near the Southern part of the Weasel Territory, but not part of it. Island nation with lots of fertile farmland and mixed with birch trees.

Government: Imperialistic, yet willing to trade with other countries.

Economy: Large soju exports, necessitating large wheat and rice fields, as well as a large variety of fruits and vegetables for taste. They also have a large export of xylitol made form imported birch trees, although their uses for it remain mysterious, as it is not used in the soju. Sugar, fruits, silk, and vegetables are large imports.

Demographics: Jindo dogs, pigs, deer, mice

Culture: farmers, loving the peaceful life, paintings, but everyone is conscripted for a short period of time when they become adults, and are very reserved to outsiders. They have never been successfully invaded, but young males of important families are expected to enrich themselves with travel to foreign countries so they can better run the family and the nation, so the country is not completely shut off and behind the times.

Foreign Relations: Open to trade, but due to being an island nation, they have a massive imperial fleet of a highly trained navy. This is also how they are able to trade soju safely despite being so close the weasel territory, in addition to the Myeongnyang Strait, which provides heavy protection to the islands. Stories abound of assassins from the country poisoning enemies with mysterious powders, but the diplomats assure that those are simply rumors. It is only a coincidence that enemies who tried to invade their country, or seriously talked about invading tend to wind up mysteriously dead or in comas.

Relation to Flower Hill: Flower Hill gives them wood and silk, and they trade with exquisite soju. Flower Hill has been sure to treat visitors from there very well for generations, in order to secure alliances.

Traditional Clothing Style: Loose clothes, pants, dresses. Higher classes wear robes, everyone has armor they can use.

OC Character: Jinro the Jindo Dog

Gender: Male

Country and Alliance: Jindo Dog Island

Attire: Western clothes

Skills: Cooking, soju production

Job: drifter, cook

Backstory: He and his twin, Hite, were born to the nation's largest soju production factory in the kingdom. On a trip, he was conscripted by the Weasel Unit as a cook. He escapes with a group of friends he makes in the barracks. Now, as per tradition for the family, he wanders to earth searching for new food and soju recipes.

Just a funny guy I'm going to have wander in and out of stories.

Wolf Country

I don't really have a whole lot of ideas on this right now that I have not spoken of in my previous post. To be honest, I don't think the actual country will feature too much, if at all, since the action is around Flower Hill and other nations nearby.

But, I'm guessing the wolves represent America, and the alligators/crocodiles are Mexico that has been occupied by the Wolf Unit. I'm still working on personalities and such for this group, but I'm guessing they are very strong, and see the smaller animals as weak and beneath them.

I want to call this one Steven or Miguel.

I still say the alligators/crocs are good for underwater reconnaissance in the absence of the underground study data, Dr. Dudeoji, or his assistant, Bamsaegi. Disarming mines Flower Hill has planted in the water is also probably a good use for them. They are, however, cold blooded, and this comes with its own problems when doing their jobs.
