Are the characters AWARE of what cards they are (Cuphead being the Ace of Diamonds, etc)? And how, if so?

I don't think so. I think it's more of a behind the scenes thing. Something that influences a character's story, or their personality, or the way they make decisions. Something for the audience to chew on.

Cuphead is the Ace of Diamonds, so every single decision he makes are based on whether or not he can get value out of an interaction. This leads to a lot of greedy tendencies, and a constant want for more, but it also means Cuphead puts a lot of weight on fairness and security.

But Cuphead doesn't know or realize this. The Ace of Diamonds is just a card in a deck to him.

Pretzels are like....the forgotten stim snack?? I never think about them when I’m looking for something to snack on, but eating them is SUCH an experience! The cronch, the texture, the shape, the smoothness of the outsides.....Fantastique

(Big soft pretzels are great too! I love going to pretzel places in the mall and getting the ones covered in cinnamon sugar and saving the big twisty part in the middle for last lksdjglksjgl)

oh thank you 🥺tbh i don't really have Much of an archive for it! The closest I have for you would just be to click on the "The New Mario Story" tag on my blog to get every single post regarding it (I tag my stuff very liberally for my own organization purposes, for this exact reason)!

I kinda wanted to have a dedicated sideblog for it but I was worried that if I put it. sort of separately away from my main, I would very quickly forget it existed HGLKJFH because thats whats happened in the past when I make sideblogs.

BUT this is so so nice thank you I LOVE TNMS and I want to do much much more with it in the future!!!
