Something I find weird today is that, I like every other Destiel shipper, or supernatural fan gets really excited, and sad when November 5th comes around. Except I started watching supernatural in 2020. It was my covid show.

Yet I still felt the agony, excitement, disappointment, disbelief and cliffhanger anger that every other watcher did. Just sped up in the span of 2 years rather than 15.

I guess I just like the way that two monster hunting, plaid wearing brothers, a gay angel and Lucifers son brought a lot of comfort to a lot of people at different times in their lives.

My mom watched this show when she had me. It was her comfort show through all the toughness of raising 3 children, having a 4th due soon. Through my fathers affair against her. She had a comfort show, that ultimately became her son’s favourite comfort show. And now we watch it together when we can.

Thanks for being gay and sticking around so long Dean and cas. Happy anniversary.

We zoom out again to see Nick, Miles, and Maya standing together again. Miles stares forward blankly, eyebrows raised. Maya excitedly leans in.

Maya: Ok, that's her whole discography. So! What did you think?

Nick looks at him, waiting for his response

We get a panel of Miles, looking bewildered. He starts to speak "I..."

We cut again to see the three of them standing together.

Miles: I... don't think I like women?

Miles looks shocked and confused. Nick is bent over laughing, using a hand on Miles's shoulder to support himself. Maya looks outraged and appalled!

Maya: MR. EDGEWORTH! Just because you don' like her musi it doesn't give you an excuse to be sexist!

We see a panel of Miles looking stressed and confused. He leans his head on one of his hands, which messes up his hair, showing how he isn't his normal put together self.

Miles: I should rephrase that. What I mean is, Ms. Roan is clearly VERY assured in her feelings towards women. I was... unaware that anyone felt that strongly. I thought we all viewed these things with a vague sense of distaste and unease but collectively ignored it. Like how we do with climate change.

We zoom out again to see the three of them. Miles stands in the middle looking deeply uncomfortable and lost in thought, vibrating with unease. Nick and Maya exchange deeply concerned glances across from him.

With lingering unease, Miles begins to walk away.

Miles: Well, I should be going then. Goodnight.

Nick hesitantly raises a finger to point out an inaccuracy in that statement

Nick: It's four in the afternoon-

he gets interrupted by Miles who repeats firmly: I said Goodnight

Nick looks in the direction Miles walked off in.

Nick: ...He'll be ok, right?

Maya reassures him: Of cours Nick! I mean, what's the worst that can happen?

Jump cut to a closeup of Nick's hand holding Miles' letter which reads Miles Edgeworth chooses death in all caps. Then, below in smaller font, it says Also femininomenon was really good, thanks.

We see a panel of Nick glaring wordlessly at Maya as he holds the letter in his hand. Maya leans against the wall and looks away, whistling, trying to look innocent to avoid blame.

As a bonus, we also have a page that takes place a year later. Miles and Nick stand talking. Miles looks calmer now, and Nick smiles encouragingly.

If tumblr shuts down, an indie roleplayers network to find your rp partners elsewhere

So, I want us, as a community, to be prepared in case this site shuts down. Is it going to shut down? We don't know. The staff layoffs, according to people who have worked on tumblr previously, seem to indicate that something is happening with management, which could be them selling the site, or wanting to shut it down. (sources: x, x.)

Maybe (probably?) the site will continue to exist and the list never needs to be utilised. But at least I personally would feel a lot better about every "oh no tumblr will shut down" rumour if I knew I could find my rp partners elsewhere. I've long since made backup accounts on pillowfort (and cohost before they shut down), but currently the most viable options seem to be wafrn and goblin. @leneemusing has tested out wafrn here. I had no trouble with account creation on any of these sites.

I've made a form here, for any indie roleplayer to submit their tumblr username and a backup account link.

I don't have any rules for this - any indie roleplayer can have their information on the list. Some further thoughts under the readmore.

First of all, if you're early, I know you can tell who I am in the rpc by the urls that are on the list lol. I block a lot of people from my rp blogs (though not from my resource blog). If you've blocked me, or I've blocked you, you can still use the list. I'm not going to care! Similarly, it doesn't matter here, whether our roleplay rules match, what content your write and whether I agree with it, if you've had a callout posted about you, etc. I'm not going to look into any of that with the list, I'm only going to make sure the links you provide work. This is a list for people to find each other in the case of tumblr shutting down. I don't feel like it's my place to restrict who can be on that list.

Why not discord? I won't include discord handles because I think a part of the indie rpc relies on us being on a social site. How would we find people? Use memes or aesthetic posts? Discord servers are not public spaces the way tumblr is. If you want to host a similar list for people's discord handles, you can. You can copy and paste from my list/form to do it if you like, even.

If tumblr does shut down, and therefore this post no longer exists, I will probably make a discord server only for the purpose of maintaining the list, though. It would not be a server for socialising - I don't have the spoons to admin that, and those already exist.

do not have the time for a new wip, but my brain developed one anyway :/ so, if you’re interested, check under the cut for some of my ramblings on a jägerski time loop au! kinda yap a lot about it, but the idea is still in the earlier stages

so, first of all, the inspiration for this was the supernatural episode “mystery spot” where the time loop resets when one of the characters dies. since max is the guy to die in npmd, i started to think through him in a similar time loop. that idea didn’t get far until i remembered pete’s connection to tinky and he quickly became the only character that could somehow also get stuck in the time loop with max. it wasn’t long before it became jägerski

so it starts with max quickly dying in waylon hall from falling through the floor like in npmd and he wakes up the same morning. he believes that all that was some weird nightmare, so he lives the day the exact same way, getting that deja vu constantly throughout. he still accepts steph’s invite to the fake party and goes back to waylon hall.

the pete ghost thing starts up and he’s still freaked out, but he doesn’t get as scared because the line it’s just pete that steph said replays in his head. the skeleton is sent out because max isn’t as scared as he’s supposed to be and he’s freaked out again but not as freaked. he gets confused when it’s revealed it is a prank again. trying not to really panic about how similar everything is to his “nightmare,” he walks backwards and falls and dies.

wakes up again and now knows that something is actually really wrong, the first day wasn’t a nightmare. i think he can easily puzzle out it’s a time loop pretty quickly because what show hasn’t done a time loop episode at this point? and now the time loops shenanigans can really commence.

he tries to stay away from waylon hall but something still always kills him. i’m still figuring out all the different ways he could die, but probably a lot. no matter what he does to try and protect himself or avoid danger, something always gets him.

like a classic time loop, he starts to lose it a little and then during a loop where he tries to survive waylon hall again he openly admits what’s happening not expecting anyone to believe him or be able to help him. he just has to say it or he’ll explode. even if they don’t believe him, max knows everything will be reset and they’ll forget, so what’s the harm. but, this time, something crosses pete’s face and he believes him…

max is surprised and steps towards pete and of course falls and dies.

cut to pete’s pov as he wakes up that same morning and also joins the loop. (his connection to tinky or whatever allows him to subconsciously join the loop. he can’t control this time ability, it just happened when he believed max) he confronts max and they both learn the other remembers the day before as the same day.

so they start to figure it out what they can do to get them both out of the loop. (max dying is still the thing that resets the loop) the obvious thing they lean into is that max has to learn a lesson, like what needs to happen in most time loops.

they start with max’s attitude and treatment of the other high schoolers, but whatever they try, no matter how nice max is or how differently he acts, nothing works.

pete and max get closer and start talking like they’re friends. admit things they’ve never shared before. why max controls hatchetfield high, what pete is afraid of and his own insecurities. max apologizes in his own way and pete eventually forgives him. pete can’t believe it, but he does. when they both try to be genuine and open with each other, they actually connect (i haven’t nailed down how many days they go through, but at least a month. so they have time to actually become friends) maybe they start to feel a certain way about each other too 👀 who really knows? (i do)

it eventually clicks that the waylon hall prank is an important event and maybe that’s what needs to be corrected. #pottypants may have to go through to get them out, which would topple max from the top of the food chain and make the school better as a result. they believe max has to follow along and get humiliated to get out of the loop. so they agree to live the day close to the same way they originally did. pete makes sure he and the other nerds and steph go to waylon hall and max goes when he gets the text.

max gets to waylon hall and tries his best to act terrified and he’s pretty good. he bolts out of there and looks pretty scared on the video richie snags. max wraps around behind the house while the nerds and steph all celebrate their success. they part with richie promising he’ll upload the video he took as soon as he can. pete says he’s going to stay back and “wait for a ride”

instead, after they leave, pete wraps around the house and joins max. they lament how max’s life as the king of hatchetfield will be over, but he’s not too bummed about that. he has actually changed and will do anything to get out of this hell. they share a pbr. they muse on what’s going to happen when they exit, will they remember each loop or be wiped clean? they both admit that they want to remember. and pete says that no matter how the school reacts, pete will be there. he meant his forgiveness, max won’t be alone. max starts to say something that would lead to him admitting feelings or how he now appreciates pete or something, but he’s stopped.

(this will be from pete’s pov most likely) pete sees a flash of yellow around max, kinda like a glitch or trick of the light. then something starts to kill him. there’s no clear cause, it’s like someone is doing it to him, almost to prove a point. this one will probably be the most drawn out death that freaks them both out and propels them into the final stage of this fic. it also changes up the dynamic because it really makes them see how important the other is, neither of them wanted max to die at all, they genuinely wanted the plan to work. pete can’t do anything to stop it, he can only watch. learning some lesson will not get max out of this.

they wake up again and they don’t really do anything that day. kinda just processing how fucked that was, but it is now evident that max doesn’t need to learn anything, something is deliberating fucking with him.

the plot becomes more about tinky bullshit and this is the part i have only a hazy idea of. tinky didn’t plan for pete to join the loop. something innate in pete, outside of tinky’s direct influence, allowed him to hop in. so maybe that power allows him to overcome tinky and break them both out. webby could help, but i’m not sure if they should make a deal with her or one of the lords. tinky’s deal would be that one of them would have to go to the bastards box and the other can exit the loop, but they would both refuse to let the other suffer just to let them live.

i really need to work on the ending, but i do want it to be happy. these are kinda just the broad strokes and i need to tinker around with the smaller moments. definitely more jägerski moments than i’ve mentioned (i’ve come to really like this ship, it kinda snuck up on me) a favorite detail already is that pete will always have that black eye max gave him the day before which can be a great source for some angst

i don’t know the next time i’ll post anything about this idea, again don’t have the time for another wip, but for the few people that are interested in this, i would eventually like to do it!

that being said, he'd actually like it if you'd take the lead just for halloween night. it could be because he thinks it's hot or because the mask is hot and it makes him dizzy faster 😭 you'd also have to convince him to even keep it on but he'd argue that he needs to see your reaction to know if he's doing great or if he needs to adjust or something like that, so you'd have to take the lead if you want to fuck ghostface </3

not being able to see his reaction (because of the mask) would be torturous because his hands would be gripping tightly on your waist, thighs and basically everywhere. seunghan wouldn't be able to keep his hands off of you. it's not everyday that you get to see seunghan flustered when you're being intimate, leaving you curious to know what kind of expression he was making underneath. ALSO, he'd be more whiny and breathy than usual (he's a yapper and moaner 100% but not this time)

METAL SONIC X CHAOS ZERO!!!

I think my favorite charts are the first two, since the first one was pretty thourghough and easy to get whilst also including intresting and unique questions to the relatio ship dynamic. the second one i added a bit of character interaction so its really cute, and thats practically why i like.

I particularly like the touch chart, as i really had to consider wthe physicality of these two, and the custom model was fun to make (look they're even holding hands haha). It was a bit tricky considering i had to figure out what touches where welcomed and what weren't based on previous canonical interactions, and my own theories/speculations.

Oh, to explian the "lends clothes" and "borrows/steals clothes", i always found the neat detail of Neo Metal Sonic's wardrobe possesing a kind of.. arm warmer/bell sleeve? As well as its pants(?) Being a bell bottom.

Without the belt/butt cape, it does make metal sonics limbs somehwhat resemble the sillouette of Chaos' body, so obviously- i just figured that Chaos, if he were to wear any clothing, would probably be stolen by Metal Sonic since it already seems to be fond of that particular look that Chaos naturally has.

Oh, and Metal and Chaos being somewhat organized is due to thier jobs and enviornment they grew up in. Eggman, being the opposite of Sonics carefree, chaotic attitude, would likely prefer more cleaner, organized or "controlled" enviornments. Thus, i feel that Metal Sonic may have picked up a few tidying or cleaning habits that were a cause of eggman simply teaching or implimenting features in his bots to prefer the "clean up" of "dirty" or "messy" areas.

For chaos, i do recall reading something (perhaps on the chao wiki) of him purifying the Altars water and keeping it relatively clean from debries and such. Furthermore, having to be sole guardian of little children chao, the altar and the master emerald, requires a lot of responsibility and- if anyone has worked with children before- it can get very messy very quickly. So its mere speculation, but i do think Chaos would have picked up many cleaning habits as well, as well as cooking/harvesting skills due to him having to take care of large batches of critters.

Surprisingly, for a creature named "Chaos", the name only truely applies to the singular instance in which he is "Final Chaos" (as thats likely what the echidnas called him during and after that time.) Turns out, Chaos is way more controlled and responsible than chaotic and carefree.

So to segway, out of the two, Metal Sonic would be way more chaotic considering its nack for stirring up trouble (CD, Sonic Heroes, Chaotix.. ect) for the heroes, as well as it not really having major responsibilites outside of its purpose to "destroy sonic" and occasionally obey whatever task eggman requires of it.

Thus, is why in the driving promps, i title it "a speeder".

To explain the "Cognito Egro Sum" (aka. I think therefore i am) and the "infinty symbol" for the ages, er.. Metal sonic is a robot, and Chaos is an immortal being. If your being technical with it, you can say they're both relatively young, considering Chaos chao can't age and are often stuck in the form they were hatched in- despite the fact that chao do infact change as they age-

One can consider the idea that Chaos, for all intensive purposes, looks and probably is pretty young- if we apply chao logic to him.

Though one will argue "but Chaos is ancient" which is true, but his case is similar to Shadow's as he was trapped in that Master emerald for... millions of years............. so, similarly to how shadow was stuck for 50 years yet remains a teenager both inside and out, Chaos- for whatever age he was before he got trapped, probably still thinks and acts like that, as well as Tikal. Except now they probably need a LOT of therapy.

^hence why i put chaos's sleeping habits as "sleeps poorly" and "sleeps to little". In hindsight, being trapped in a emerald for thousands of years, with your freind of who's father killed your entire* family and burned your house (altar) down and tried to steal your most precious item (master emerald) and being the girl whos stuck with your freind(?) who killed your entire bloodline and basically genocided your entire community- stuck with him for THOUSANDS OF YEARS- is.....is going to require a lot of therapy.

So y'know, bad sleeping problems. Also probably why i depict Chaos hugging a lot + being affectionate, since being deprived your community that is entirely reliant on the concept of "caring, loving, and nurturing one another" (cause.. the opposite of that means chao will basically die upon reincarnation), for thousands of years is... a good recipe for touch starvation and a need for attention.

^hence why chaos is also on the attention side of some charts.

^ just conintuing off of that previous statement, i did move Chaos closer towards "extrovert" in the "extrovert or introvert" prompts, as since Chaos, unlike Metal Sonic, deals closely with many chao, and often is surrounded by a crowd of them, i do believe that Chaos would have to atleast gain some energy from social interaction in order to surivive that every day, without burning out.

The whole "who talks more" thing is kind of funny because, technically, its metal sonic (see Sonic Heroes + Sonic Free riders) who has more lines than.. Chaos's total of zero!

Meaning that, if anything, the "he said no pickles" meme would probably mean that Metal Sonic would be at the counter whilst Chaos is sitting in the back.

Though, compared to MANY other characters, these two are practically dead-silent, and would most likely rely on non-verbal ways of affection than verbal.

Oh and the "ethical v. Immoral thing" where i emphasized that chaos was "neutral" was because by compsring him to "chaos chao", theres a dark side, good guy side, and then neutral. Considering Chaos's history of amazingly goodwilled to horrendously incidous, one can conclude that he practically in the middle in terms of ethics or morality.

Metal sonic is definetly on the more immoral side, though i wouldnt put it all the way, as i do have considering enviornmental aspects to its behavior (such as well.. being a badnik, and being constantly exposed to eggman's immoral behaviors). So, other than like, unnesecarily abusing animal freinds in CD, and throwing a ship probably full of people at sonic (Sonic heroes) there aren't many instances in which Metal Sonic does something completely immoral and unjust- without any context regarding eggman ordering it too, or simply it just doing its job as a badnik.

However those actions are prettt bad on its own- though compared to... killing out an entire species... drowning thousands of people in a city and attempting to kill eggman with a giant laserbeam... and to whatever hyjinks eggman gets up too...

Its actions seem.. relatively small (though not obsolete.)

So like, theres not going to be many issues regarding "metal sonics gotta be a good guy"/ "i can fix him🥺" mentalities, since its kind of hard to do that, when you have a kill count of a 100+ whilst Metal Sonic is still on the "i'm needlessly harming animals, and threw a boat"...

Then again, i like to think the leiniency allows for them to work on themselves together, rather than tear eachother down or hate eachothers guts.

However, i thought this would change when introduced to concept of feminine and masculine models of the ancients in frontiers, but looking at Chaos, he doesnt resemble either one very much (tbh, in Sonic Forces, his model actually looks more akin to the fem version, than the pointy and sharp masc ones) and looks more akin to that of the children, if anything.

Plus, being masculine or feminine isnt really and indicator of gender anyways.. so like..???

So what? Does Chaos, gender? NOPE! Chaos isn't an ancient (thats his ancestor) and is a mutated chao. Chaos are genderless, or atleast out of that particular binary.

If Tikal showed up one day and started calling Chaos a "he/him", its likely that Chaos could've just.. adopted that. Assigned pronouns by random. Amazing.

Bert apparently is a diminutive of names such as Albert, Robert, Berthold, Umberto, Gombert. Bert means bright. And Bertie is just double diminutive.

What fucked up Bert name do you think Bertie is short for? Personally, I’m going with “Cookedbert” which is listed on the wikipedia page for the name, but I highly doubt is a real name. Although “Rawbert” is also listed there so maybe his name wasn’t Cooked until after he died.

But this yt video gave me a revelation. So I've known for a bit I'm demisexual/demiromantic (figured it out last year) and just, on the aroace spectrum. But sometimes I see people and I get Feelings? But like not attraction and it really only happens with those I obsess over (e.g. Hugh Dancy) and I didn't know how to describe it because I think some people would just call it a celebrity crush, but it's not. Daniel Craig helped me figure it out. I watched this and that whole thing abt the 'Blond Bond' hate and then him getting papped on the beach and being shirtless and those articles abt him being attractive or whatever, I was just, confusion. And then it clicked. I get gender envy. Not attraction, gender envy. That's why I felt absolutely nothing over Craig but feel like I'm dying inside when it comes to Hugh (and also Special Interest reasons). And I mean I've been questioning my gender identity for a while now? But I think I've got to go have another crisis about it and figure some stuff out. Thanks Daniel Craig for that?
