I think Hawkeyes should share all of their superhero identities. Clint is sometimes Hawkingbird. Kate is Ronin. Sometimes Kate picks up Clint's Captain America shifts. Don't worry about it. They should use the "we're both ____ and you didn't specify which" to the fullest extent. emerges from the dark and cavernous hyperfocus mines at 2am with 29% battery on my laptop after discovering that low battery makes my tablet glitch like hell. where did this fucking furry come from

sometimes I worry about how some of y’all react to any kind of technology. every site has an algorithm that’s how programming works. AI is a blanket term for a certain type of code, it’s not automatically evil. electric cars being made consumer available is a good thing even if the ceo of the first company to do so is a bit of a dick.
#this has been a post#I have other gripes with the way teslas are constructed but some of y’all act like the fact that there are electric cars#that are a little more expensive than gas cars#is some sort of evil in and of itself#and not. idk. a step in the right direction? any new technology is gonna be expensive before it’s accessible#and if nothing else Tesla proved that there’s a market for electric cars paving the way for other companies to put theirs on the market#General Motors (I think?) had the technology for electric cars as early as the nineties and didn’t put them out because they didn’t think#they’d sell#(source: my grandpa’s name is on the patent. he’s the guy who figured out how to make them run and not rely on a gas starter)

Meet Cairsemper (name is a work in progress, but currently pulls from 'cardinal', 'air', 'temper' and 'sic semper tyrannis'). This bird is the national symbol for my Virginia-based world of 'Kritters' (name also a work in progress). \
Cairsemper is very bold and brave, but also very strict- both with its master and its fellow Kritters. It is very territorial and possessive, trying to scare off any creatures that encroach on its belongings. It is known to attack mirrors, thinking of itself as the strongest possible threat. It bonds closely with its master and would die to protect them.
In the game, breeding and alt forms (called Morphs) of Kritters can be found. To test this idea, I made these:
Behold! The female version of Cairsemper has a darker, more orangey color scheme. Then they have their first morph, which is albino inspired. The male retains some blue tones, but the female goes very pink.
What do you guys think? Would you welcome the constantly-angry Cairsemper into your home? Are you excited to see the others?

i think part of what i like about machines that i don't like about computers is that "hit it with a fucking hammer" works about 50% of the time to solve your problems. as soon as printers started having their own updates that weren't just updates to the drivers your computer used to talk to them hell became real.

cant sleep because i cant stop thinking about how the mechanic was a bit of an asshole to me for no reason when i got my car finally taken in
#adw's ramblings#'i could tell your car's been sitting for a month' yeah i wouldve moved it sooner if it could. you know. start#'the sun here drains your battery you should be able to pick it up once i charge it' that car has been#jumpstarted five times in the last week and not once has it stayed alive long enough to leave the parking spot#three of those times it died while the starter was still hooked up and on#and one of those three times the starter was the tow truck (she didnt want to go into neutral so the driver gave her a quick spark)#(it was the most pathetic sounding attempt to start i've ever heard her make)#guess what i didnt get the call to pick up my car today#i know im 5'2" and look several years younger than i am but god can you not be so condescending#and like whatever its not the only time this sort of shit will or has happened to me i know#but im already stressed about the car and im not great at sleeping to begin with so this is like the cherry on the cake#i was baking until 11:45 last night in a dorm kitchen#but i dont have milk so i can't make the muffins or quick breads i have mixes for#and guess what i need to get milk.#a working car#not that i need more baked goods im not convinced my roommate and i can make it through the cake i made before it goes bad#i'm very stressed and anxious and a little bit angry and its all just. ughhhhhhh#if you made it this far down the tags uhh here's a cookie i guess 🍪#you can imagine it's one of the ones i made yesterday#or technically the day before yesterday since it's past midnight here
