summary: following the news of Chris's engagement you find your way back down memory lane . To the finding and first crack in your love for Chris that would only lead to the current pain you are in

The part couple of hours have been a blur ever since Lisa had announced that Chris was getting married to his actress girl friend ,Minka . You feel like your mind was somewhere as your body floated around not releasing what was going on , feeling numb . You dont know how or when but you laid on your bed under the covers in the pitch black . Finally letting the tears fall . You knew this day would come , but it doesnt stop the pain , the constant stabbing in your chest . You always knew loving Chris was bad for you , but you did it anyway, you still do . And you know deep down no matter what the future holds for you or who you have in your life you will love Chris . And you will always love the joy and pain he brings into your life , without anyone knowing, well apart from Scott now . And you know no one , ever , future ,past , present will have the same effect on you as those blue eyes do . You will always love chris , different love no one could ever be able to beat or match or even go higher But you kept it a secret long enough and it will always be . It's not like you expect somewhere down the line you two might end up together, that was never gonna happen . His to good for you , and his sees you as a sister . An Minka is perfect for him in every way . You are happy for him truly getting the life he has always wanted . But that doesnt stop the pain. You cant help but remember to the day you realised you love him and how he could never be yours , you never would allow it .

'The dickhead , errrrrrr knew it was too good to be true , I bet his getting a proper kick out of it ' 14 year old you was standing outside the cinema. The movie you were ment to be seeing playing, probably half way through now . Your date never turned put and to be honest your not that disappointed, he seem like an asshole anyway . Your just annoyed he probably thinks it's fun and thinks your crying. (You wouldnt allow your self to cry over something so pathetic in your eyes ) But you can't help on single tear roll down your cheek , this was ment to be your first date . You didnt want to go , you wasnt interested, but Scott kept pushing you to give it a shot. At least one lesson was learnt , dont listen to Scott but it's a lesson you already knew all to well .

To make things worst Scott wasnt picking up his phone . Probably to busy was something stuiped as always . Once you called him the 10th time you started to become stressed . How was you gonna get home ? You felt more teare escape due to the stress .

Scrolling though your contacts you came across Chris . You held your thumb over the name of awhile debating whether to call him or not . He was Scott's older brother ,you didnt want to make a fool of your self and seem like a little girl who cant look after her self but at the same time he said he you ever needed him he was one phone call away .

So that's what you did . With your phone now up to your ear you waited to see if he would answer. 'Hes probably busy with his new girlfriend '

But to your surprise he answered

"Hello "

"Hi " your voice cracked and tears began to run down your cheek at the sound of his voice.

"Y/n are you okay ?" You could hear the panic in his voice , you just let out a loud hiccup as your tried not to cry "... tell me where you are I'll come and get you "

"But ... a... arnt you .u busy ?"

"I'm never to busy for you . Now where are you ?" He demand as you heard on the phone and loud slam you could only assume a door and a seconde later you heard his car engine.

"Umm Chris it's fine, I should of called "

"Sweetheart tell me where you are ,or I swear I'll look on every street in Boston. "

"I'm at the cinema 15 minutes away from your and Scott's "

"Okay I'll be there in 5 " he ended the call .

How can he be here in 5 , its 15 minutes away . Unless he is going to speed . He better not. Maybe he already knew where I was . Oh who iam kidding his nee girlfriend probably leaves 5 minutes away .

And with that you waited ,not much else you could do . Your tears died down . Still feel stuipid of crying over something or someone or somewhere you didnt even want to be

As if in a blink of an eye a battered dirt coloured trunk pulled up in front of you . The windows rolled down to show a very conserndier Chris showing lines on his youthful face as he frownd . "Get in " he muttered by in a tone that was not to be argued with . So you step forward hesitant at first but then you remember you did call him . As as you open the car door and I one footed jump into the truck , shuting the door behind you placing your bag in front of you , inbetween your feet as you fiddled with the seat belt .

"So ... " he began " why are stranded at the cinema "

"I was... um "

' Why am so nervous '

"I was ment to be on a date ..." it was then you final met Chris eyes that showed a flash if emotion as if he was almost hurt at the thought of you on a date . But it was probably because you interrupted his own . But you still felt a need to explain as if to avoid hurting his feelings.

"He ..he stood me up.. its not like I even wanted to go it was all Scots idea ." To quickly finished quite nervous as if you did something wronge .

Chris raised an eyebrow "Scotts ha ?" You nodded

"I tried calling him but he didnt pick up "

"So you called me ?" You nodded " so why was you crying if you didnt even want to be on the date ?"

"I was not!" You never like showing your emotions it made you feel weak and you are anything but weak .

"I heard you on the pho..." he chucked trying to lighten the mood

"I was just stress I didn't know how I was gonna get home "

"So can you take me home ?" You questioned

"No !" You were shocked by his sudden answer.

"I'm not taking you home, not yet anyway " he said with his sights smirk .

"Surprise!" He said starting the engine

"But ... but dont you have to get back to your girlfriend?"

"I know that " you giggled now looking out the widow watching the world pass away. Unaware of certain blue eyes keep glancing at you with a smile only for you .

Throughing a scrunched up napkin you giggled playfully " dont speak you your mouth full "

He raised an eyebrow and smirked a little sorry .

"Why do you care anyway , why do this just to make me smile " you giggled certainly in a better mood , his blue eyes stared into your in awe and a quite mutter you just about heard " if only you knew " but you swear you heard him wrong some you moved on to your next question . As those also familiar butterflys return to your stomach when ever your around Chris .

" So is that your job to make me smile " you ask while putting another frie or two in your mouth .

" Give me the punks name ? " he glared at you but still in a soft manner as if to tell you his anger wasnt towards you

And it was at that moment everything your mother said as a child when you ask about love , princess and prince, clicked in your head . She expain how the flurry feeling never goes away as their around, how theirs a smile on your face always. And how their a feeling. A feeling only there can make you feel . As you stared at those blue eyes surrounding a 17 year old Chris you knew you always had a little crush on him . You were pretty sure half of the girls in school did . But it never accrued to you just how far those feelings ran .

One of your favorite things to do was to hang with your best friend, Jensen Ackles. You weren’t an actor or anything like that. You actually owned a few chain restaurants around Texas. So, when Jensen was busy filming in Vancouver, you were running your business and when he was on hiatus, you were hanging with him.

There were times you would go with him to Vancouver and watch him film. But only if you knew you didn’t have any work lined up. You had a lot of people working underneath you that could handle things while you take off. You don’t do it often but when you do, you know you’re in good hands.

Right now, Jensen was in between season 13 and 14 which was good for you because you needed your best friend. You’ve had a crush on him since you met him. Actually, when you met him, you were such a huge fan of the show and a bit of a Dean girl. He was on hiatus with Jared way back when. He came into one of your restaurants and you got to talking.

You probably wouldn’t have met him if your head hostess hadn’t called out sick. You were filling in for her since it was a busy month for the business. It was hard to stay away from each other after that point. You found out he lived close to you and every single summer and Christmas, he got to spend it with you.

You two quickly became inseparable. You met Jared and Misha and even got a tour of the set. You needed someone like Jensen in your life because he was truly one of a kind. You two have been going on 5 years of being best friends. If you were being honest, he was your other half and you wish you could tell him that.

Confessing your feelings would be such a big step that neither of you could come back from. You knew something was between you two but you couldn’t exactly figure out what it was. You didn’t know if you were meant to be something more or if you should just stay friends. The only way you were going to confess to him is if you were drunk and right now, you were on the cusp of becoming drunk.

While Jensen is on hiatus, you two try and spend as much time together as possible. You would find yourself sleeping over at his place most of the time and he would sleep over at your place. You even had a drawer of your things in his room and he in yours.

“Okay, I know what this night needs.” You said, reaching for the vodka bottle. You took 2 large sips before handing it over to Jensen. He handed you his whiskey bottle and did the same.

“What does this night need?” Jensen asked, already drunk. At least, you thought he was.

“We haven’t played the ‘what if’ game in a while.” You giggled. You were buzzed but you wanted to be drunk for this. That’s when you get the good questions.

“Oh, good idea. Okay, I’ll go first.” Jensen said, facing you. You two were seated on the love sofa with your legs in his lap and his in yours. You were so comfortable and didn’t plan on moving anywhere else.

“Okay, hit me with your best shot.” You sang and giggled.

“Okay, what if dinosaurs didn’t go extinct, but instead was living on some remote island we don’t know about?” You laughed at this and took another sip of whiskey. You really shouldn’t be mixing vodka and whiskey but at this point, you didn't care. Tomorrow would be a chill day to get over the massive hangover you knew you’d have.

“I guess then the world would be in danger. They can fly, right? I think some dinosaurs could fly.” You tried to think of the name of it but it wouldn’t come to you.

“Okay, your turn.”

“What if you got fired from Supernatural? What would you do?” You giggled.

“Ouch,” Jensen said, putting a hand over his heart. “Hitting me right where it hurts.”

“Sorry,” You shrugged with a smile.

“Did I tell you I got an offer to be on Riverdale?” He said and your eyes bugged out of your head.

“No! Jensen! I am your best friend! How come you didn't tell me this? When did this happen?”

“Last week. I said no, of course. I can’t give up Dean Winchester.”

“Okay, well, when I’m sober we’re definitely talking about that. But it’s your turn.”

“So, what if tomorrow, we’re going about our day and everything seemed normal. But then a giant hole opened up in the sky and a swarm of aliens and robots came rushing down to earth to destroy us?” You busted out laughing, almost falling off the couch.

“That’s the plot of the first Avenger movie!” You laughed and took another sip of the whiskey before trading it for the vodka bottle.

“So? It could happen.” Jensen giggled.

“Alright, if it does then I’m letting them take you.”

“Hey!” Jensen playfully scolded you.

“There are no friends in the desert.” You smiled.

“Fine, if aliens invade earth, I’ll be the first to offer them to you,” Jensen smirked.

“Okay, I just don’t want them to do anything to my butt. I heard they like that sort of thing.”

“Where did you hear that? From someone who survived a night with aliens?” Jensen laughed.

“Hey! You hear all kinds of things,” You giggled. “Okay! My turn! What if we thought with our tongues and talked with our minds?” You laughed and got up on your knees before sticking your tongue out.

“Wanna hear what I’m thinking?” You giggled as you came closer to Jensen with your tongue out.

“Get out of here.” He laughed and pushed your shoulder. You fell back on the couch and laughed, the bottle of alcohol long forgotten. You were having too much fun being drunk and playing this game.

“If we thought with our tongues, the world would have a lot more children in it.” Jensen laughed.

“Oh yeah, because you wouldn’t hesitate to lick any woman you saw.” You rolled your eyes. Jensen got up and came at you with his tongue out.

“I can lick you.” He said before licking the side of your face.

“Ew! Jensen!” You laughed as you tried to push him off you. Normally you could but you were so drunk, you couldn’t even push a door open.

“My turn,” Jensen said, using his arms to hold himself off you so he didn’t crush you with his weight. You looked into his eyes and finally understood just how close he was to you.

“Make it count.” You whispered. You wish you could kiss him right now. Everything would be so much easier but you knew you would regret it in the morning. Or maybe you wouldn’t remember. Before you could make a decision, he was talking.

“What if we dated?”

“What?” You asked, hoping what he asked is what you heard.

“What if I took you out on a date? Like, I would take you to a really good restaurant or if you weren’t feeling hungry then I would take you on a boat ride or we could go to the beach or whatever you wanted to do because I want you to be happy. I would buy you dinner or lunch and we would spend the whole night with each other. Then, I would drop you off at home and I would want to kiss you but I would be so nervous. You’d kiss me anyways and we dated. So… what if we dated?”

You couldn’t even speak right now, you were in shock. You were becoming a little bit more sober with each word that left his mouth. This game was only supposed to be a fun game to play when drunk but he turned it into something you couldn’t come back from.

You knew this was Jensen’s way of confessing his feelings for you and if he was going to do it, then so were you.

“I would be the happiest girl alive.” You said truthfully. Jensen didn’t even need to ask and placed his lips on yours. You immediately kissed him back, wrapping your arms around his neck. You would have preferred your first kiss with him to be more professional and a lot less sloppy.

You would definitely have to do this again in the morning.

“Wait, wait, wait,” you said as you pulled away from Jensen’s soft lips.

“What’s wrong?” He asked.

“I want to do this right. I don’t want to be drunk. If you still feel the same in the morning, I’d be glad to go out with you.” You smiled.

“Who said I was asking you out?” Jensen asked with a smile.

“Come on, let’s go to bed. I really want to continue this in the morning.” You said and Jensen got off you. He helped you up and walked with you to his guest room. This game will have a totally different meaning for you now.

A time of Silence

As i sit here December 21. i cant help but look over 021 as a whole. its incredible as a human population where we have ended up. Does anything even actually matter?

COVID SEEMS TO BE HITTING HARDER THAN EVER. IT SEEMS AS I HAVE HAD ALL THIS TIME OFF SINCE OCTOBER. I. ITS THE TIME FOR CALL OF DUTY. it is time to get back to the frontlines and do what I Christopher castellanos does best and that is help heal people. i dont do it for a sense of self gratification to feel better than others. its almost like if i lost all my emotions. i have gone through them all it seems. i have been happy sad mad angry hurt been in pain. worried. all for what?to live in a planet in which you dont know if you or the people you love will survive? i admit to having a sense of anticipatory grief. I am ashamed of what sand paper i have become. I can see rationals from-everyone and the intentions from their actions and i have come to realize that iam not the bad. If you dont have something to offer or for people to feed off of, you are replaced in the matter of seconds. it is so important to do things that make you happy. JADED af. 2021 taught me that i need to learn who i am and accept who i am. without hair, gay, fat, loud, bitchy. i am so many bad things but i am so many good things as well its come to my attention that i am a good person i share love and cherish people authentically. i am all about a genuine connection with-the people i am attracted too. however the moment ti get a wiff that things are for the benefit for a someone or even just spiteful i remove myself and run. i have officially lost so many people that i grew upwith. maybe its because i outgrew the many awful characteristics that attracted to me to those individuals in the first place. sometimes things are blessings in disguise. you see the trick to life is not to be preoccupied with with things to forget the many traumas and things. To me : i have had to learn that you have to place your finger exactly where it hurts and then face it face to face and experience all of it. truly go through the emotions. do not cage yourself because you were tiny back then and the beast scared you. you are strong you are kind you are love, you are anything you want your heart to be. trust yourself, love yourself, find peace. enjoy your skin and your own love. instead of giving the energy to others to make them feel better. give it to yourself. water yourself and blossom into that beautiful orchid tree.

Its late at night, and you might not know but bunch of people is fighting outside. Not scared or anything, but its happening right outside my house, like in front of my house.

don’t apologize!! I had that issue too where I couldn’t tell what the hell I was attracted to (lmao it turned out I was potentially attracted to anything and everything. Hell my love-struck ass thought I might be aro-spec and I thought I was genderfluid and thought I aligned with womanhood. Shit really does take time to figure out and honestly it was around when I started this blog (almost) a couple years ago when I had completely come to terms with my identity.) and I dealt with homophobic family members.

I was fortunate and my coming out actually helped my parents get over their homophobia because they realized they had no reason to hate LGBT+ people and they couldn’t bring themselves to hate their child. I was very, very lucky. But not everyone has that. If your father can’t accept you for who you are, whenever you’re able to figure out who and/or what that is, then he’s not fit to call himself a parent. And his opinion has no bearing on who you are or where your life should go. And while you’re not religious, I am. And I’m assuming he’s probably a Christian just like me. If he dares say he worships what we’ve been taught is the true God, then he’s not paid attention to any of his teachings about love, acceptance, and compassion for our fellow people. God doesn’t hate queer people or send them to hell and anyone who tries to tell you He does is wrong and worships a hideous god that republicans think would hate immigrants, poc, women, and support using guns to kill each other. Even if you’re not religious and you believe he isn’t real, then even the teachings passed down are still wrong.

But most importantly, you have no reason to hate yourself. And once again; been there, done that. And I know it’s not fucking fun. Part of learning to love myself was linked with me understanding God wouldn’t hate me for being queer, so I can’t give advice for that department. BUT I can say this; that’s the abuse society as forced upon us talking. You’re perfect just the way you are, and even if you don’t even know who that person is, they’re still innocent and don’t deserve such hatred. As long as you’re not filled with hatred and bigotry, you do not deserve that. Take as much time as you need to figure out what your identity is, there’s still terms for you trying to figure yourself out such as wlw, sapphic, and queer. You can use any or all of those and no one has any right to judge you for it. And I support you through this journey and I’m here if you ever need someone to talk to because I’ve faced those fears and fought those battles, I understand that struggle.
