Flavio: Literally Flavio to me is what Romano would have been like if he wasn’t fighting the internalized homophobia/ machismo demons 🙏 he’s flamboyant he’s (still) loud, he stands his ground and he is a fucking divaaa. He’s cunning, takes great pride and care and time into his appearance, he expresses his love freely and loudly, and he’s not afraid to pick a fight. He lacks general anxiety and self preservation. He’s also a tad selfish, and just generally two faced. To me, while Romano puts out the harsh exterior, underneath it all he is a vulnerable and sensitive person. Flavio puts on the very approachable exterior, and will be nice, but inside he’s brewing some out of pocket shit. However, he loves and cares deeply and genuinely for a very special few.

If Romano was to meet him, he would call him a slur. But also be jealous of the way Flavio carries himself. If Flavio were to meet Romano, be would make him his next make over project, he is his new gay god mother. Flavio would be jealous of how many people genuinely care about Romano, even if the guy chooses to act like an asshole.

Santiago: He is a quiet and an intimidating guy, not because he’s plotting shit in his head, but because he just does not know how to carry himself around people. While Antonio is an approachable, sociable man who’s always working on putting out positivity and try to do good by everyone because that’s just how he is (and how he copes), Santiago withdraws himself from everyone because 1) Bro genuinely doesn’t get social cues or socialization and 2) thinks of it as better this way for the general public. He’s a little edgy, but in a “scared to hurt others” way rather than “society doesn’t get me” way. Since he yaps significantly less than Antonio, he’s a good listener and is also a bit less dense on certain things. He’s a bit more prone to picking up on the underlying emotions or when people are being sarcastic / say one thing but mean another.

If Santiago and Antonio ever met, it would be… interesting. Santiago would be put off by Antonio’s high energy, but at the same time wish he could express himself as easily as the other, and be as comfortable with physical touch. Antonio would absolutely loose his mind over the gray streak of hair, bro looks very punk rock. He would think of the other as awkward, but also be very impressed at his observational skills.

-Cain stands at around 200 feet tall, and carries a massive sword on his back (I didn’t do it justice here)

-His helmet unhinges both from the top or bottom, meaning he can show either the top or bottom half of his face. This works for him since he usually wants to keep it on.

-His face under that helmet is pretty scarred (big tear in his lip that exposes his teeth, burn marks, a nose that’s been broken often). He avoids showing his face if he can. If you’re familiar with how the “steel bull” torture device muffles the screams of its victims to make the sound of a bull, Cain’s helm works w that same distortion tactic, but since his vocal cords are much deeper due to his size, it gives the impression of a roar rather than a battlecry!

-Cain is secretly scared of putting others and himself in harm’s way, so he tends to drive other people away by being intimidating or cold towards them. If he has the choice not to, he won’t hurt people, but when he gets pushed to his limit, Cain can be absolutely brutal. Though, unless someone directly harms him, it’d take a feat to break his patience.

-Good god he’s so sweet with children. This man has CRAZY parental instincts, and actually was a father in the past (was). Obviously he wouldn’t threaten a child or anything, but oughhh if he sees someone endanger them there’s no saying how pissed he’d be.

-Cain tends to use terms of endearment for those he grows close to, such as dear, darling, etc.

-As for dietary habits, he mainly hunts big game and the other 20% of the time he fucks around in the ocean (poorly).

-UNDER CAIN’S HELMET: I don’t think I’ll draw his face anytime soon so here’s a descriptor of the un-skrewed up parts of his appearance. His eyes are yellow, he has long black hair that slightly protrudes from the back of his helm, sharper teeth, and a forked tongue that really just looks more like it was split because why not.

the writing style in this one is SO cool, i love it! non-linear narratives are my thing, i never get tired of it. and the whump in this is so good.. i like whump fanfiction, lol. the combination of characters in this is really fun as well, though everything is told from kaeya's very disoriented point of view. anyway, amazing exploration of his character!! the next work in this series, The thaw that comes in springtime (plus the next next work!), is also really good and i loved it, particularly the ragbros bit lol. another must read!

anons flexing on me by figuring out how to superscript the 2.....au squared is so self-indulgent that i hesitate to make posts just to say silly, cutesy things. but i cant get enough of jesse coming to skyler with childcare questions because he hates to ask his own mom for help and shes the only person he knows who also Has a baby. skyler is initially super resistant, but jesse is so goddamn sincere and as obnoxious and sometimes clueless as he is, he really Wants to take good care of baby and its kind of refreshing to be around someone who actually loves their child rather than loving them in a technical, abstract sense (<- walt). hes like "hey missus white um. uh. are u supposed to like. brush ur baby's teeth" and skyler's like (taking the world's longest drag from her cigarette with her eyes closed). skyler's tolerance for jesse remains mostly limited, but she does field his questions and she does love baby and she does somewhat reluctantly show jesse how to put hair up because baby was born with like a full head of hair and he doesnt know what the fuck to do with it and if she smiles during most of the process, its just because she likes doing baby hair and holly's not old enough for pigtails yet.

au squared captivity arc is also like. particularly oughhh because uncle jack makes it clear from the jump that if jesse steps out of line, they will kill baby. they will kill his two-year-old and make him watch and then take him right back here to keep working. so even when the chances to potentially escape present themselves, jesse cant force himself to act until everyone is literally shot to pieces and too Dead to follow through (and even then he looks over his shoulder for the rest of his life). jesse pulls the gun on todd in the desert, the clearest shot he's had at escaping so far, and todd just says "hey. u dont have to do this. i don't think it'd be very good for ur daughter. :(" not even in a threatening way. almost like todd means it in like an emotional sense. it would hurt her if u hurt anyone else :( and then todd takes it one step further and says "hey. why dont we get a pizza or something? we'll go back downtown and pick something up and maybe drive by where she's at. just drive by. that'd be nice, yeah?? u did real good work today, u deserve a treat. what's ur favorite pizza topping?" and jesse crumbles. he sits on the floor of the front seat at todd's feet like a dog, not allowed to look out the window and having to believe todd when he says "yep, i think thats the new place shes at. looks pretty nice :)" its foolish to trust him, but jesse does anyway and closes his eyes and just imagines that hes passing by baby. hes seeing her little freckled face, her smile with the big gap between her two pearly front teeth, her tiny hand reaching out to grab onto his sleeve. for a second, hes with her. he may never, ever see her again because he may be trapped in this nightmare forever, he may have to work for eternity to keep the gang away from her, but for a second, jesse is close to his baby again.

on a lighter note, jesse is stupid impressed when baby starts imitating the animal sounds she hears on her little mechanical farm toy and shows this new talent off to Everyone. skinny and badger are barely through the door before jesse's like "SHUT THE FUCK UP. SHUT UP. check this out." mike staring vacantly at crusty flip phone video after crusty flip phone video of baby saying "moo". jesse even brings baby with him to show walt and is just beaming with pride and also silently hoping walt thinks that his daughter is super smart and walt's like "sure, whatever, have u killed gus yet"

Pebbles isn't depressed, he isn't emotionally hurt, he's righteously furious about the injustice that is the painful Iterator existence. that's my favorite characterization bit about him, it's from this

the Iterators' existence is an unjustly suicide mission they were shoved into and cannot leave. the Ancients doomed them to torment until they die- the torment starts once they start breaking down. becaue as we know, despite all that they are, they aren't immune to time

and some of them accept this as if it is fair. as if it is alright and how it is meant to be. as if this is moral. people like Suns

and then there will be people who see this blatant horror and try to fight it. what Pebbles does is this. he's a fighter. he wanted everyone to be okay, free, not have to one day live through that sea of pain that is slowly falling apart at the seams

the only way out of this promised, creeping torment is finding The Solution. *nothing* seems to be fucking working within their Taboo inflicted limits, so he wants to step outside of this cage and look if beyond it awaits help. Pebbles isn't trying to Kill himself, he's trying to find help for everyone

we also need to understand that their world is different from ours. legitibility of religion isn't in question. to them religion IS science. and the final mathematical result is something like a Nirvana. not being anything yet being everything, somewhere else than the real world yet in there as well, presumably

I might be wrong but a few have a cowboy hat (? Theres so many i cannot keep track of all these fucking flaming skeletons yet)... the one I remember the most is Carter Slade, he's kind of like... an important side character in the movies and in the comics he tends to be the Phantom Rider instead which is a literal ghost rather than a spirit of vengeance, even though he's technically the first Ghost Rider. It's wild and a time. Very fun.

If you wanna see him on film, he's in the first Nicolas Cage Ghost Rider movie. Maybe it's on Netflix? Dunno. I you've got... other methods to watch movies (*WINK WINK*) then it'll easily be there. I just watch Ghost Rider on my DVD I've had for eons. IM NOT EVEN SURE HOW I GOT IT I think it was hilariously at a Christian school garage sale. I think monika fell early on for sayori sjshs like during the time they spent setting up the literature club together I think monika gained a crush quickly. they tried to ignore it at first but it continued to grow overtime.

sayori always had a deep respect for monika - she just seems so put together and perfect! I'm not sure when exactly this admiration would shift into a more romantic interest, but it would probably be after a moment of vulnerability on sayori's side. monika's patience and kind words makes her feel so loved and cared for.

sayoris:

in the canon/game universe iris is programmed to have a crush on sayori so in a nongame au (creative name ik /s) this would translate to love at first sight for him.

although the 2 don't interact until iris joins the club he definitely notices sayori hanging around - she seems like a social butterfly - and becomes infatuated by sayori's positive exterior.

sayori would catch feelings after they finally grow closer - iris is super awkward - and falls for his loserboy swag /hj

it's takes more time for monika and iris to both grow closer and develop feelings. I think they would bond over their shared love of sayori though.

iris yearns pretty quietly. even if his feelings are obvious he's okay with remaining friends and dancing around the topic rather than risking being vulnerable. however he does talk to natsuki about it a lot bc he loves to yap lmao

monika is also definitely a silent admirer. monika's closest friend is sayori so she doesn't want to scare her away with their feelings. maybe they'd speak to yuri about it?? but in a very vague way, like talking about romance between characters rather than advice for herself. and as previously mentioned, there would be occasional conversations with iris about sayori too.

sayori is another quiet yearner but I think she's more likely to speak about her crush. similar to how iris and monika bond over sayori, sayori talks to iris about how much she admires monika. this would probably make iris influence iris' feelings for monika too, seeing someone you love love someone else let's you see them in a different light yk?

since natsuki is closest to iris, sayori may also ask natsuki about him a lot. his interests and hobbies, stuff like that, using the excuse of making a new friend.

I'll go first by saying Mothpool is overhyped and Leafpool had more chemestry with Cinderpelt. (in my opinion, ship what you like!)

Positive:

I did think of leafcinder before and thought it was cute but not really something I'll get passionate about (i tend to be very picky on these kinda age gap/mentor x apprentice ships), now that I'm reminded of it I can really see it! They would have a great dynamic (taking tnp cinderpelt personality into account here. tbh her in tpb and her in tnp are almost different characters to me... where's your whimsy girl...), and honestly, there are almost endless options for Leafpool ships (she interacts with so many cats woagh that's crazy for this series she actually has friends??) that have more chemistry than crowpool. I mean it's fine I guess from a strictly plot perspective (and even that's well. bendable) but why is Leafpool, 30 cat years after their breakup, dead, in cat heaven, STILL deeply in love with cat Clay Puppington. I know they will get back together in StarClan because the authors absolutely love them and think they popped off writing their romance subplot they think they created a banger. Sorry this veered off into negative can't help being a hater.

hollyjaylion, leafsquirrel and bramblehawk are the three shipcest pairings I will never be able to be normal about. Canon to me. fallenholly had the option to be one of THE best dubiously-canon wc pairings to come out of this series had they just went the direction of making fallen actually somewhat more messed up after being trapped as a ghost in the torment tunnels for cat centuries like.
