When you were a kid were you also obsessed with the idea of being tiny and using dollhouse furniture and other repurposed found objects both natural and man-made?

How much was Sprig at fault in Spider-Sprig?
Sprig Plantar, an anthropomorphic frog who just turned eleven (frog and human years are the same here), watched a Spiderman movie and wanted to be loved by people in the same way Peter was. So, even though he’s in hiding from the government on account of being a walking talking frog (complete with extra dexterity and a long tongue he can use to grab things), he made himself a little suit to go outside and be a vigilante with.
He impressed the neighborhood, but in doing so upset the old man who had dubbed himself protector of the neighborhood (and had just tried to write a ticket for two kids selling lemonade without a permit, the oldest of whom was eight). This old man swore vengeance upon Sprig, and when he found a robotic arm with lasers and claws became Sprig’s version of Doc Ock.
They had a big fight, endangering a lot of people and destroying a lot of property. Important to note: Sprig caused no property damage himself, but he did essentially respond to having a villain come after him with “this is awesome!! If I have a villain, just like Spiderman did, then everyone will love me like they loved Spiderman!” and proceeded to insult and provoke his enemy. However, his Doc Ock caused all the property damage, instigated the fight, and was picking a fight with a boy whose age he didn’t know (the news outlets covering Sprig’s vigilante person dubbed him as around eight years old, but no one knew for sure other than those who knew Sprig).

I'm describing my transition in these terms from now on, actually. I feel foolish for not having come up with this myself; it makes me feel like a lesser transsexual for it, in fact.
(Also, the person that was being discussed is cis)

Speaking of my grandparents' wedding. Regrettably I can't find a digital copy but my favorite photo from it is the ones where they're posing with the whole wedding party. The three bridesmaids minus the maid of honor are sitting on the floor, the MOH (my grandmother's sister Lee who was 15 years older than her) standing next to her, and then what looks like a lopsided number of men standing around the couple. Only today when looking at it at the wake did I put together that the reason there are more groomsmen than bridesmaids was that my grandfather only had one sister (and she was one of the bridesmaids), but my grandmother had three brothers. Maybe I just find this unbelievable because neither of my brothers have brothers-in-law. Neither of my sisters-in-law have brothers. But imagine having to fit all three brothers into your wedding party. What a nightmare.
